With no guideline I wrote several pages of everything I could remember whether it may be relevant or not. When I decided to file a law suit against my former employer, they wanted a $35k retainer. I had no choice but to find a new lawyer which I was happy to do since I felt like I already wasted a lot of money for “do it yourself” legal service. When I explained that I was looking for another attorney the attorney at KCNF offered to look over my file and let me know the strong points and the weak ones and give her advice for another $1200-1600!!
