Cassia Denton: I have been going to this cleaner for 10 years and not ONCE have they gotten anything wrong, been late, or failed to give me excellent customer service. The owners just celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary, and I am thrilled that they continue to be such a community staple.

Chris Harris: I have been a customer of DCC for over 10 years and I absolutely refuse to use any other dry cleaner in the city. I stumbled into their small basement space when I first moved to DC when I lived on 17th St. I have since moved and live in Bloomingdale but still haul my stuff to DCC. The owner, Jun is so wonderful and she has remembered me and my name ever since my first visit. I have only used the tailoring services a handful of times for a few pant length issues and they have been returned just as expected. Go check them out and tell Jun I said hi.

Olivia Dawson: This place is amazing! I am leaving a glowing review because not only did they replace buttons on a bunch of men’s shirts extremely thoughtfully — making sure you couldn’t notice they had been replaced. They also saved a very, very, very pilled pair of cashmere pants and basically made them new again. Above and beyond service and friendly, helpful staff. So glad I took my clothing here!

Katherine Hannah: I cannot say enough amazing things about this place! I accidentally washed a limited edition white sweatshirt with new velvet dark leggings. Needless to say, the velvet leggings color bled onto several pieces but essentially tie-died my white sweatshirt. I mean, DOZENS OF BLACK SPLOTCHES ALL OVER MY LIMITED EDITION SWEATSHIRT. I tried to fix it at home for two days and was about to trash the clothing item until I found this place through online reviews. Someone said they were good at stain removal which is the understatement of the century. I expected the stains to go from black to gray but I did not expect my sweatshirt to look brand new! The stains are completely gone and my sweatshirt is crisp white and bright like I just bought it! Kwan is a wizard! I was so happy I was embarrassed to say I got teary eyed. I really thought I was going to have to get rid of it but Kwan saved the day! Thank you to your team so much!! Best dry cleaners in DC hands down! Amazing service and such integrity in their work--we definitely will be coming back again!

Sonia S: I flew into D.C for an important interview, and my suit jacket was crushed in the process. I called Besson’s Drycleaning at 7 am to see if they could squeeze me in before my interview at 10am, and they were incredibly accommodating. They cleaned and pressed my suit within an hour, and it looked fantastic. Their flexibility and attention to detail meant a lot to me that morning. This review is a little belated and long, but they will take care of you, and their prices are fair. I hope to make them my regular cleaners when I make it to D.C next year.

Philip: If I could give 6 star review I would. The best cleaners I have experienced. Note: they also have full-service seamstress. I needed a quick turnaround press and freshen up for my suit. I had a noon event to attend at Arlington National Cemetery, and they accommodated my rush with a 45 minute turnaround. The owner and his wife are kind and friendly.

Gerren Price: Amazing, friendly, helpful, above and beyond standard service!! I had a big work meeting to attend, parked my car and noticed I had a split in the seam of my dress pants in the lower thigh area that was growing larger. Yikes! A quick Google search showed that Tower Cleaners was the nearest dry cleaner in the area. I walked in and shared my predicament. The gentleman at the counter was sympathetic, but said they didn’t have anyone on site at the moment who could patch it up. But he offered to try to pin it together for me. I was desperate and gladly accepted. He pointed me to the dressing room and I was able to discreetly hand him the pants while I waited for him to do what he could. A few minutes later, he shared he was done and discreetly handed me the pants back. I was a bit confused as I couldn’t feel any pins, yet the pants looked and felt as good as new. I put them on and then exited the dressing room asking him what kind of magic he worked. He said though he doesn’t usually sew or use the sewing machine, he was able to figure it out for me. I asked how much it costs and he said it was on the house. I am still blown away by the generosity, kindness, and just all around exemplary service that was shown to me in my time of need. K Munir: I am pleased with the quality of service recently provided on my first occasion of patronizing Mass Court Cleaners. Ms. Jung expertly repaired a zipper on some tailor-made slacks. I am impressed by the fresh-pressed appearance and color retention for all of the items, i.e., slacks and sport coat. Kudos to Mass Court Cleaners. I will be a repeat customer.

Cameron Powell: A buddy brought in my suits, and some shoes for outsourced resoling and repair, and was told the cleaners would call about the price for the repairs. The cleaners didn’t call. I came to collect whatever was ready, and when the owners registered my surprise at the bill for the shoe repair and resoling (maybe I just didn’t know the market rate; it was not necessarily too high), they reduced the bill significantly without my even asking them to. I was impressed by their sensitivity to the customer, and their proactive solution.
Sarah McDonald: Brought in a bridesmaids dress that needed the straps lengthened a little bit. She fixed the straps the same day, beautifully, and free of charge! Great experience.

COMPLETELY forgot to pick them up on Saturday. Due to holiday weekend, they were closed Sunday and Monday. PANIC MODE. BIG TIME. I was able to get in touch with the owner on Sunday morning. I told him my situation. No questions asked, they came in on their OFF DAY and made sure I could get my pants before my wedding. HUGE RELIEF. *Very nice people here. Hard working. I know my inseam size so I never need to be measured for alterations and the job they did was fantastic and quick. In addition to getting items dry cleaned, we have used them for minor alterations such as hemming pants and they have always done a great job. And they came to my rescue recently when I accidently left my sons ROTC rank pins on his shirt when I dropped it off to be dry cleaned. It is amazing to be greeted by familiar faces, and their work is always of high quality. When a stain could not be treated, the staff is quick to point it out and issue a credit for a refund or to apply to the next visit. You will rarely get this level of customer service at smaller, more expensive dry cleaner operators.

Charles Hood: This cleaners is one of the best cleaners I have been to in my life. I moved to DC from Houston, TX and can definitely say they made me feel at home. I have been coming here for 5 years, and I have never once had an issue with their service or quality of customer attention. Even after moving, I still come back even though its out of the way. They are just that good. Turn around times are quick, efficient and hassle free. They will remember you! They know their repeat customers and cherish them. All around the right way to run a business.

Sarah Bibbs: Dependable, prompt service at reasonable prices, and my clothes are well cared for. After 18 months of going to this dry cleaner almost every week, I can say they are incredibly dependable. I’ve never had any issues or lost items, and they have always had my clothes ready when they say they will (even when I’ve needed next-day service). Senate is a friendly, GREAT dry cleaner. I am moving out of town next week and will really miss this place. Highly recommend them!

Alex Monterey: These are extremely reliable tailors who either charge at or a little above regular prices because they are worth it! I made a mistake or they had getting some patches sewn on and they corrected it no problem on the spot. There’s one girl there who’s not super friendly but everyone else is and besides I don’t care about them being friendly to my clothes I want them well taken care of and here they are!

Jess Morales Rocketto: Have been going to Sue for over a decade, and she is excellent at her craft and a neighborhood institution. INCREDIBLE at tailoring, often take my suits, dresses, and more for her work. Absolutely impeccable and quick, she even accommodates my special rush requests. Same day dry cleaning from my very forgetful husband is no problem for her. She even, on literally 12 hours notice, saved the day by tailoring a rehearsal dinner outfit for my sister that came handmade from abroad but did not fit. She is also a true character, so personable and lovely. Sue is active in her church and community, and she never forgets anything you tell her about your life or what’s going on. Truly a special person, the best sort of auntie, and will be loyal to her as long as she’s in business. Service: Alterations
Kelli Ford: I love Sue & her tailoring jobs! She is VERY good at what she does. I’ve taken numerous bridesmaids dresses to her - for both length and trimming down intricate straps. She does a wonderful job every time - and for a very reasonable price. She is very kind & patient. Also has a good dry cleaning business, which I have taken many dresses and work clothes to her for quarterly or annual dry cleaning and they always come back looking great. Michelle Thomas: I had a bit of sticker shock here my first time after being used to suburban dry cleaning prices (a silk dress cost about $20 to clean here, when I used to pay $8). However, it’s in a very accessible location, my clothes were cleaned well/quickly, and the lady who manages the store is friendly and professional. I’m happy to pay the city mark-up to keep going here.
Joseph Jakuta: I usually go there for cleaning and they do an excellent job, even when I spill coffee in odd places on white shirts. At this point my dress clothes are in need of occasional mending and again they do a great and reasonably priced job. They even fixed a pocket my dog chewed through to get some candy. The best though was fixing the strap on my pannier when it fell off - that needed a heavy sewing and the stitches are still holding up. That’s not to mention the convenient payment and notification system they use. Highly recommend NoMa Cleaners. even if you aren’t in the neighborhood!

Matt Farrell: Very professional and friendly staff. Will have your items on time when you need them and are not overly price. They also do stitching and will fix buttons or rips in your clothes for a good price. There store doubles as a UPS drop off location if you need to mail any items
Jenny Chang: Fast turnover for 2 items I needed hemmed. Without asking for it, the ladies there ironed and pressed my clothes. I will be bringing more of my professional clothes to this place.
