Universal Doughnut Shop: what do users think?

Paul G: Just the ultimate spot. Perfectly tasty food and the nicest humans who own and work there. A beautiful couple that can restore your faith in humanity and kindness that can quickly get lost in this city! This delicious bagel was 4/5 bucks - and would easily be double that at the numerous chains throughout DC

Norman Ferrel (King of the Norms): Small store owned by cute Asian couple the sandwiches are good and quick, and they are very friendly. Limited donut options but they do say they don’t have many, but it’s great for some small quick sandwiches.

Megan Schlabaugh: This place is perfect for a reasonably priced, no frills, coffee and breakfast sandwich (upgrade to the English Muffin!). The owners are truly the sweetest. There aren’t a lot of true mom and pop places left in DC - support this place!

Wesley Rogerson: Straightforward bodega style sandwich shop with everything you could want for breakfast and lunch. Simple, quick and delicious!

Alejandra Barajas: Amazing breakfast. Such a cute little shop run by a very friendly older couple and the prices are amazing. Ended up coming here because my usual coffee shop was closed due to weather and I’m so glad I stumbled upon it. The lowest ratings are due to it not having a huge selection of doughnuts despite its name, but if you read the comments and know what to expect, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend. Will likely be my new go to for breakfast.

Max Nitke: This place is incredible, a relic of an older time. If you are in DC and want an amazing breakfast, come to Universal Doughnut. 10/10

Michael Henry: Friendly, fast, cheap, and good variety of hot, made-to order diner-style sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. The kind of basic, not hyper-expensive family-run corner store/deli that seems almost impossible to find in DC! Not gourmet in any way, but exactly what it promises and should be!

Zack Williams: I see where people post that this place is “quaint” I think “funky” is a better term to use. The owners / workers clearly enjoy what they do because they are quite playful (in a good way) when communicating with their customers. I didn’t order any prepared food, so look elsewhere for those reviews, but their prices for convenience store items are fantastic for the area. I do agree that the name of the place is kind of a misnomer. The doughnuts don’t look all that great and their selection is limited.

District Doughnut: what do users think?

Emily Smith: I loved my experience at District Donut!! Very calm and welcoming environment with a delicious donut and amazing Compass cold brew. One of the only places selling coffee around Eastern Market on Mondays and it’s worth it. Hope to become a regular during my time here; staff is very friendly and helpful! Check them out! 🍩

Zack Williams: I would give District a 5 star review but I was disappointed to see their offerings were not inline with the menu they had displayed on their webpage, so I dropped a star. Aside from that their stuff is fantastic and I was able to find other items to my liking without the two doughnuts I had hoped to get. The staff were friendly and the cinnamon roll was MASSIVE. Make sure you check the hours for the location you are going to because it seems each of their locations go by different hourz.

Mark Orebiyi: I had a chance to stop by District Doughnut and learn some interesting news. They changed their points system. I was pretty upset but the Manager of that branch “Tea” was able to help me out tremendously. The Crème brûlée doughnut is fantastic.

M. M.: DC-famous doughnuts with small town friendly service. One of my favorite doughnut shops in DC. The "Cherry Blossom" and "Lemon Bar" (filled with fresh lemon curd) doughnuts were so yummy!

Krispy Kreme: what do users think?

Sassy Sauce: The “HOT” sign is always on. Ordered for work and had to wait about 5 minutes but it was worth it. The donuts were fresh and everyone enjoyed them. They have new flavors available like strawberry shortcake and mixed berry cobbler. They look very good but what can beat a traditional glaze? These are only available low for a limited time. This location has 1 dozen donuts on sale for $7.99.

Tyrae Transportation LLC: I came into this location on Connecticut Ave NW, Washington DC to order freshly made donuts. 03/11/2022 at 10:00 am. The guy picked up a box from under the donut case which I then asked for freshly made donuts. The young lady took the case to the back and proceeded to put the donuts on the conveyor belt to run them through the icing again. The donuts are not fresh and I would like a refund. Also my hot chocolate was not hot at all and tastes like water. I spoke with Amiya who identified herself as the manager and she informed me that this store does not make fresh donuts in the store. She also refused to give me a refund and abruptly hung the phone.

Morgan: They don’t respect posted hours. See photo of 8+ people waiting for over 30 minutes for them to “clean their lobby.” They lost so many customers in just this time frame, way more than in the picture. We sat there in the cold rain watching these employees sweep the same spot on the floor…. When they finally opened back up, they closed the lobby after 10 minutes. Very poor business management. This all happened while they had the hot sign on.

Ronni Creque-Aqui: The sign on their door said they are open til 1:30am.. It was 10 pm and they said they were done making drinks and had already started to close… we literally walked 20 minutes to get here and they were turning us away!! Disappointed! Do better

Uriel Appel: We got some KK and it was amazing, I give it a 4 but it deserves a 5 because I received my order just when the new batch arrived at the store which really upset me since my favorite type (strawberry) ran out and the new batch was filled with them, also the chillers were liquidy but other than that, amazing. We used a coupon from the Washington Times and it helped with the price, the coupon helped a lot, and I do recommend using them! Thank you Krispy Kreme!

District Doughnut: what do users think?

andrew: Some of the best donuts I’ve ever had… and I’m like the master of donuts! Located inside Union Market, which makes it even more attractive. This is my go to spot whenever i have a visitor from out of town. It hasn’t disappointed me or my guests yet. I recommend going earlier in the day for the freshest donuts possible. I’ve tried them at the end of the day, and you can tell they’re “end of the day” donuts. My favorite is the vanilla bean crème brûlée. They’ll even fire up the top of the donut right in front of you. See my photos/videos from some of my visits. I highly recommend checking out District Doughnuts!

Donna Gedeon: I am more so a cake/ cupcake type of person, but the donuts 🍩 looked so yummy when I walked by them at Union Square today that I decided to indulge and pick up a 1/2 dozen, I was not impressed, my 12 year old didn’t even finish the tiny sample pieces we cut out to taste, my older daughter hasn’t tried the two I picked up for her, so maybe I’ll update my review later, I’ve had tastier donuts from 7-11 and Dunkin’ Donuts for a lot less, I wanted to love them but the insides were just dry and bland, even the cinnamon bun was blah 😕…gave three stars for friendly staff

ThePinkfreak805: Excellent doughnuts, just prepare for a sugar coma 😅They are soooo sweet. But worth the indulgence. It’s absolutely delicious. It’s located inside the Union Market, not too hard to find, although it isn’t listed on all the market maps, so you just have to wander around

Gicela Saucedo: Delicious donuts, they assimilate more of a cake than a donut but they taste great. I loved the strawberry coconut and cherry blossom donut

Britnee Barton: First and last time. Went before 10am thinking I was going to get fresh doughnuts like what is advertised in the pictures. Instead doughnuts were gotten out of a silver fridge and felt oddly cold instead of fresh. At $4.00 a doughnut, extremely disappointed. One doughnut looked liked it had mold- it had black spots and it wasn’t consistent like it may have been part of the dough. Total waste of money.

Jean Ng: They look super cute but tasted just alright for a $4 doh’

K K: Picked up a cinnamon roll and doughnuts Sunday afternoon at Union Market and they were just alright. Dough seemed over baked/stale, didn’t taste fresh.

Heidi Liou: So many neat flavors, it’s hard to choose. However, I’m a nutella s’mores gal all the way!!! Love this place and the guy working there was so incredibly nice. He told me he used to be in consulting, got his MBA, then went to culinary school... what a story.

Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken: what do users think?

Madison Merrill: I chose the PB&J donut myself and the Banana Pudding donut on a staff recommendation. The banana pudding was good but if I had to pick I’d go with the PB&J. The shop is tiny so you kinda have to just get in and get out; there is outdoor seating which could probably turn visiting here into more of an experience, but as it was so cold today I just had to get my food and go. I like when going out for food is more of an activity, so that part was kinda sad, but the donuts were good. I might return when the weather is warmer to try their chicken.

Claire Mizutani: I ordered a two piece dark chicken with a side of tater tots through their website. My order was ready by the time I arrived. Unfortunately, I came late in the day so they were sold out of their cherry blossom donuts and I didn’t feel the need to purchase a different flavor. The breading was crisp and flavorful but the tater tots were a bit soggy though that is likely from sitting in the to go container. I received a breast instead of a thigh so I was a bit disappointed but the white meat very very moist.

Khalil Davis: BYO chicken sandwich with a vanilla glazed donut! This was very good but the only downside was that it was missing flavor in the chicken and donut! I recommend getting something else to go with it as it may not be fulfilling for everyone!

Taylor Rafter: Maple bacon doughnut was super light, cookie dough doughnut was very good. The PBJ doughnut was full of strawberry filling. The astro sandwich with comeback sauce was delicious and the southern heat sandwich was tasty as well! Definitely worth a visit!

Donut Run: what do users think?

LP: Cute takoma park donut shop. They’ve got your classic vanilla sprinkle to more unorthodox cookies and cream or strawberry. Only complaint is there aren’t any cake donuts! Reviews are right - come early!

Leola: These donuts are amazing!! And I don’t even like donuts! The dough is so fluffy and light and they’re always fresh. Go early! As they run out quick!

Jennifer Smart: I come here every couple weeks to try out the new seasonal flavors, and every time they’ve been a hit! I’m always happy to give patronage to any vegan restaurants in town, and I recommend Donut Run to anyone with a sweet tooth. The Boston Cream Pie donut in particular was a crowd favorite when I ordered a dozen last time. There tends to be a bit of a line on the weekends, but these bad boys are worth the wait.

Kate Phillips: A friend of mine put it like this…”This is the best donut I’ve eaten in my entire life!” The team here is making fantastic cakes with holes in them, and if you miss the opportunity to have one, you’ve truly done yourself a disservice. On top of all of that they’re vegan, and this omnivore loves her animal fats… Good food is just good food though, you can’t argue with it, and Donut Run is amazing! These guys thought they were to die for! (It was Halloween!)

Aisha Sees: I am a donut fanatic and was so glad this place opened up near me. No I am not vegan, neither are my family. But we have all enjoyed the different flavors from DonutRun. Our #1 choice so far is the mango coconut - it is absolutely amazing, it makes the run really really really worth it. Fluffy, not overly sweet, refreshing (which is weird to say about a donut). Their new creme brûlée is delicious also. Our interaction w. the staff has been great. Looking forward in trying other flavors (on my weekday off since they sell out rather quickly)!!

Abi Maghamfar: There was no line and no one else in the store when we visited mid morning on Friday, Sept 10. Not a full selection but enough to choose from. Good donuts but I would not stand in a long line for it.

Andres Mendoza: Great new donut shop here in DC. The Donuts are delicious and the smell is amazing. They are also all Vegan donuts. The owners are extremely nice and hard working. They have all types of flavors for every palette. The snickers and strawberry ones were my favorite. If you go on the weekend go early cause the line is usually around the block. *Edit I tried the mango coconut and it was the best tasting donut I have ever had in my life.

Sarah OMalley: THE BEST donuts in DC, no question. I’m not vegan, but have strong opinions about donuts, both cake and yeast varieties, and Donut Run is the uncontested top dog. I judge even the most creative spots by their classics—namely the plain glazed—and this is the best I’ve ever had, even after a whole day of pretending I’d “save it for tomorrow.” Try any flavor, they’re all delicious. I’m particularly fond of the blueberry cake and the mango glazed when available (neither pictured, because they are always gobbled first).

Krispy Kreme: what do users think?

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Great customer service, Very clean shop from inside but not from outside area. Finding Street Parking is very big problem here.

Jebbeh M: Not customer service/senior citizens friendly.. While on the phone with my 66yr old mother. My mom went to this location during her morning break to treat herself and coworkers to donuts due to my recent suggestions of Krispy Crème over Dunkin.. Not understanding the promotional on the sign, my mom asked the cashier a question which she was giving a rude response where the cashier lady stated she was new and did not know.. my mom then suggested to me that she would like a ice latte so I proceeded to place an pick up order on the app to treat her. After mentioning my gesture to the cashier she stated that they only do door dash even though the option was clearing online for pickup.. The cashier pass my mom the hot donuts box in hand without offering a bag to purchase even though it was pouring raining outside.. My mom ask for a bag and the lady yelled it’s 5 cents.. This type of service is Unacceptable especially to an elder.. If that was her mom she would not have wanted her treat like that anywhere.. my mom nor coworkers will never visit this location again.. and I will never suggest Krispy Crème again..

Egberto Willies (Politics Done Right): I love their donuts. But what occurred to me was distressing. I dropped off my daughter at a friend. She just got out of rehab for a stroke so I wanted her around her friends. I bought too tasty spicy pumpkin donuts and a large coffee. I sat down, opened my laptop and started working as I wait for her. After about 30 minutes, I asked where the bathroom was and was told they had just cleaned and I could not use it. I asked how long would I have to wait. He said it would not be reopened. I was 8:45PM. The store closes at 11:00 PM. I balked and complained civilly. He finally allowed me to go to the bathroom. When I was done, I got upset. I asked him if I were a white man, (I am black) if I would have been afforded the same treatment. He got very defensive. I told him it is likely the establishment could not prematurely close restrooms based on DC code. I am writing this review because it is important that call out establishment that mistreats anyone let alone paying customers.

Scotty Leach: This new location is in a hot spot of Columbia Heights - right next to the Metro and the major shopping center which houses Target. The staff were super fun and friendly, playing along with our jokes and engaging in banter. I did ask where the first Krispy Kreme ever was, and the server didn’t know but asked a coworker. The donut selection was awesome - but we got a chiller instead. Next time, a dozen donuts!

Melissa Pearson: I was unable to pickup donuts because the worker was asleep in a chair in the back. I called multiple times, no answer.

M W: Ordered 2 dozen for delivery and only one box came. When I called to let them know, Linda was very apologetic and called DoorDash to set up the delivery immediately for the missing part of my order. That is what customer service is about! Thanks Linda

District Doughnut: what do users think?

Alex Praeger: Tried the cinnamon roll for the first time today. PERFECTION! Fresh, yeasty, with just enough cinnamon and not overpowered by sugar glaze. I wish I had bought 2 of them! Of course the doughnuts were fabulous as always.

Vikram Seshadri: Great little doughnut shop in Georgetown. The staff were really friendly and gave amazing recommendations. Huge fan of the blueberry doughnut. Not the biggest fan of their Hot Chocolate but that might just be me.

julie c: We visited this shop early afternoon so they were out of the brown butter favorite, so I had to settle for a snickerdoodle donut. It was a cake style donut, very moist and full of flavor. I would order it again. The cinnamon rolls looked delicious! We definitely recommend this shop.

Hailey Kim: District doughnut is good. Their variety is good and you can explore around. Their coffee is decent too. Parking is not easy obviously it’s located in Georgetown. Very nice walking path and it is tucked in the behind the building in the alley. Really nice doughnut store around the neighborhood to try!

Fiona Alison Kibblewhite: Such a fun place! I got the creme brûlée doughnut and they torch it right in front of you, which is very cool. It was delicious and I can’t wait to try some of their other doughnuts too.

hansel tan: We visited District Doughnut while we were in DC. This particular location is hidden in an alley behind the Ukrainian Embassy. We came in when the store just hit opening time, thus coffee wasn’t ready. However, the donuts were ready to order. Due to the pandemic we weren’t able to eat inside. The donuts are big and bit airy, eight different varieties to choose from. Cherry Blossom and Cookies&Cream is good donuts to try.

J Acharya: Wow!! Ahhhmazing!! Get the vanilla crème brûlée donut! It’s out of this world!

Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken: what do users think?

Joshua Drewes: Donuts were okay, the fillings were ample, but the donut itself was a bit too greasy. The best ones we had were the key lime (my favorite) and the cookies and cream. You can skip the fried chicken honey breakfast sandwich - way too small and ours didn’t come with the hot sauce/honey butter which I think would have made it amazing. Overall, I don’t see the hype - but do try the key lime donut. That one was good 👍

Symone: These donuts were delicious 😭 were they overpriced? Hell the the yes, but will I go back every once in a while? Also yes. This half dozen was $22 and the dozen is $38 or $40. That’s crazy for donuts in my opinion but if I’m ever just craving one, I can spare the $4 for one occasionally. The maple bacon was actually my favorite which I was skeptical about at first. That one and the plain glazed. Do beware that the crème brûlée and the PB&J donuts were cream filled which I should’ve expected I guess but didn’t realize so if that’s not your thing, definitely skip those.

Jennifer Khaldi: Absolutely delicious! I truly enjoy the different flavors to the store or coffee shops! PB&J is bomb and the maple bacon! 4 donuts is almost 18$, should have gotten 1/2 a dozen for 22$. This is a sweet treat every so often!

Britnee Barton: The chicken was delicious. The bacon maple, key lime, and pumpkin spice doughnuts were really good. They do an excellent job on the to go orders, ensuring the integrity of your order by stapling the bag. If a restaurant does note staple or ensure the bag is sealed, then it doesn’t care enough about their brand or customers. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family because they did seal the bag! Excellent job. The only thing that could have been better was the cheddar biscuit, this time it was hard. I have had the biscuits before and it was so good and soft. Please ensure the biscuits are soft as they are the star of the sandwich along with the chicken. Excellent service and overall the order was good.

Jenn C: They literally tried to charge me a dollar for tobasco/hot sauce with my chicken! I told them at their other locations, tobasco sauce is free. Where have you ever heard of someone charging for ketchup or Mayo!? Or freaking hot sauce. I will NEVER be back at this location. Other Astro doughnuts, yes, but this location is clearly strapped for cash. Charging a dollar for a teaspoon of hot sauce. Insanity. Update - come to find out, I was correct. Hot sauce as even listed on their to go ordering website, is free. That was literally a headache for no reason with the cashier. Train your employees Astro… Train, your, employees.

Nat Hillard: Saw that this location had opened last week (they apparently have several others, but I haven’t been), and I was in the mood for both fried chicken and donuts, so I stopped by. Know before you go that this is a shared kitchen between Prescription Chicken, Saya Salteña, and now Astro Donuts. If you’re picking up donuts, stand to the left, as the right is Saya Salteña! Got a fried chicken sandwich on a cheddar biscuit with tater tots and a half dozen donuts (for two!). All were delicious! Flaky biscuits, juicy chicken, and uniquely-flavored sweet donuts for dessert. I’ve lived in North Carolina where fried chicken and biscuits is a common breakfast, and I’ve had my fair share. I have to say Astro would fit right in among southern biscuit diehards. I’ll be back! Welcome to the neighborhood.

Rapture XIII: First time trying a chicken sandwich with a donut for a bun. Well worth the money you pay. Food quality is excellent. I opted for spicy chicken and it was indeed hot. Had ghost pepper on it and definetly enjoyed every bite

Amanda Blake: Really amazing flavor! I like that they have such unique options. The lemon merengue pie donut was excellent, and my husband loved the apple crisp option. Fast, friendly service as well.

Jamison Jones: Good but not great - the fry oil weeps from the donut, making a greasier mouth feel than a more traditional solid-fat fried donut. But the flavors are neat!

District Doughnut: what do users think?

luis royero: Bought half dozen and they tasted amazing. I normally cannot eat doughnuts because of the yeasty flavor but these are fresh and don’t taste like yeast. Only reason it’s not five stars is because the place was completely empty and the two employees visible were not happy to be working. Maybe they were just having a bad day but it would be a 5 star if they would just smile or at least respond with courtesy to a greeting.

Taylor Rafter: Cute doughnut shop right on the water front. We got the Nutella and the dulce de leche and both were good. No indoor dining. But they have a small amount of outdoor seating.

Ayman Mobin: The donuts here are amazing! My girlfriend and I had the Nutella and crème brûlée donuts. They were phenomenal. For the crème brûlée they torch the donut in front of you. It’s super fresh. The only caveat is that each donut is over $4. Keep that in mind but otherwise it’s delicious!

Paul LaVigne: If you are looking for donuts I suggest skipping this place. Take out only, indifferent Customer Service, not well cleaned, and serving donuts that obviously are not made on site.

Claire B: These donuts are only so-so. Creative, but in terms of quality and taste they are leagues behind the gourmet donuts you find in other cities. The kids complained that their donuts were dry. My partner found the coffee undrinkable, and he will usually drink just about any coffee. Overall this place is not worth the money compared to similar donut shops in other cities.

Hannah Collins: I loved it! I bought a half dozen for the affordable price of $15. They were soft and doughy, not cakey and dense. The three staff members working were so wonderful and nice! I had the creme brûlée donut and he torched it in front of me and let me record, LOL. Everyone I gave a donut to was very happy. I would definitely go back!

Carlos Lopez: This was such a cool place I was just getting homemade donuts and they had a crème burley donut, and they used a torch 🔥 just for that experience alone made the time going there worth it it was on the pricey side, but i didnt mind, ate too many sweets there lol ordered browny butter, frosty cocoa, creme burlee, red velvet and a few other signature robots, wish i tried the cookies… feels perfect for a valentine day theme

Kali Smith: It was okay, nothing special. Creme brulee doughnut is torched in front of you. We got psl creme brulee, vanilla creme brulee, Samoa, brown butter, pumpkin cheesecake, and sweet potato pie. There is paid parking directly by it but street parking is available nearby. Location is in stand alone building on wharf. There is space to sit outside, contactless payment only, safety glass up between staff and customers.

Grace Luczak: The staff was so nice! And their hours on google are correct - the stickers on the store window say they close at 7pm (actually 8pm). Maybe it was because we got them at the end of the day - but these were TERRIBLE. I actually spat the donuts back out. They were stale and over the top sweet (and I usually like sweet). Very artificial tasting. So bad though! Too bad; the people seemed really nice. Hopefully other people have better luck in the morning

Donisima: what do users think?

Karen Wee: It was my first time at La Cosecha and I was thrilled to stumble upon Donisima_dc’s artisanal brioche doughnuts with interesting fillings and flavor combinations. Their bestselling Arequipe (Colombian dulce de leche cream, glaze, & queso fresco streusel) was sold out when I was there but the guy said they’d have more in an hour so I hung around waiting for the donuts. These donuts are worth waiting for. I loved the Rum Fashion (rum pastry cream, orange confit, & 55% chocolate shavings) as well as the Amor Al Chocolate (55% chocolate and hazelnut.) The Arequipe was delicious but just a little too sweet for me.

Andrew Riguzzi: Not your dad donuts. Some of the best donuts I have had in DC. They are not just delicious but also beautiful. Very impressed.

Jose Vides: These doughnuts are worth every calorie. LolGiving it 4/5 starts because I waited over 30 minutes for doughnuts to arrive then in line for my turn. Mind you I had scheduled/booked a pickup time yet that time came and went.

Abigail Regitsky: Great donuts. Light brioche dough and good flavors. Not too sweet. We tried all the flavors and especially liked the arequipe and rum fashion donuts. Would love to see new flavors rotate.

A V: Yummy guava curd doughnut.

Jess: Highly recommend the Arequipa donut!

Eric Young: turkey sausage, egg & cheese on croissant straight delicious only complait no orange juice

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Very nice small place ,excellent customer service.

Aaron Mcreynolds: Clean location. Friendly staff. The only downside is there are a small set of stairs with no ramp at the entrance so the store isn’t super disability accessible.

ZARIFUL TAFADER: Worst Experience ever. Very rude… he literally opened the door and asked us to leave in a bery rude manner as he had to use the rest room and he was going to lock the restaurants door for customer while doing that.. i understand he surely needs to use rest room but there are nicer way he could approach me or i think there should be more than 1 employee at a location to cover such situations… never had to deal with such situations so kind of upset… getting kicked out of a restaurant while u r paying for their food and not like i was creating problems or making noises or anything.. STAY AWAY from that place…

alison w.: delicious latte, english muffin sandwich, and such fast and pleasant service!

Dunkin': what do users think?

Donna Mason: I called 4 times one day and 6 times the following day to place an order for a pick up. Since it was for a nearby event, I came in person in hopes they could fulfill my order. I greeted the manager and explained the persistence used in trying to place an order ahead of time. His response was less than desirable and quite unprofessional. He responded “well we are busy”. I asked if I requested online instead of call, would it be a better response time-again he responded in a defensive and dismissive manner. Short on time, I decided to place an order-and after he blurted out get in line. I ordered several items-coffee, donuts, and bagels. He informed me it was too late to put in a large bagel order-and only provided 6 of the 2 dozens ordered. He attempted to make the 6 all plain until I requested sesame too. He responded “oh now you want sesame”. The entire time of interaction with this guy was difficult as he was rude-sarcastic-with an overall ugly disposition. I really regretted placing this order but had few options. Fast forward, when I got back to the event with my order, I didn’t have enough cups, creamers, stirrers, napkins, and knives to spread the cream cheese. Such a disappointment especially since it’s a neighborhood establishment-and we provide lots of business. Never ever again. I would rather go anywhere else instead of this place.

kindness DUCURAY: Clean and nice Dunkin ever…the manager Geseña and Haawah took my order with smile and kindness 🍩! Tasty vanilla iced coffee !!! KD from Mali thank you

Alex Navarro: It’s a fine Dunkin’. However, for a place known for donuts, they do not have a huge selection and often run out of more specialty items like munchkins. It’s the only one near us so we will continue to go. Staff is very friendly, but as a donut shop you should have donuts!

Serrayia Johnson: VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! My order was taken wrong by the lady with the red dreads. I asked for iced coffee with almond milk. It was made without almond milk then I was asked to pay for the almond milk after they messed up the order!!!! I asked for TWO bagels only charged for one and had to reorder a bagel! On top of that the lady with the red dreads DID NOT APOLOGIZE! when I ate my bagels were old I ordered avocado toast and the bread was soggy!!!! The most disgusting Dunkin’ Donuts I’ve ever been to! Save your money !!!!

Rahma Hejja: I think this is the biggest Dunkin’ Donuts place I visited in dc or dmv area, I like it so much with different types of seats and many electric charging spots . And as usual I love their cappuccino 😊

Sara Anson: Constantly get my order wrong or incorrect when I order off Uber eats. Today I got coffee with flavor instructions printed on label and received plain coffee with creamer only.

Rodney Taylor: The bdoughnuts were fabulous. Just need a little more smiles

Dunkin': what do users think?

Nils Hünerfürst: Made a mobile order. Good Cappuccino for free. Will come back.

Spiral Tote: The wait at 10a.m. wasn’t too bad. It just smelled like an electrical fire in there. Service was fine

Lou Fegans: Can be crowded during commuting hours. Staff are pretty fast at fulfilling orders. Prices are higher than other locations in the DMV area

Chelsey Dey: The lady who works here is very rude. Very unhygienic. You could not order over half of the drinks and food items because “she didn’t want to turn on the ovens.” She was very disrespectful to those coming in who weren’t her frequent buyers or friends. Overall, would never come back here again.

Joanna Jacob: The cashier guy was super rude and kept making faces while I was giving my order. If you don’t want to work your job, then don’t do it. Used their bare hands to give donut. Cappuccino was badly made.

Edwin Cloud: Very clearly asked for black tea.. was charged for a latte and the lady refused to give me the refund (almost $3 difference). Also there was some black flake in my tea :/

Andie Lowery: Went here to for my birthday and received my free coffee with the nicest customer service ever. ❤️

Michael S: There was a hair in my coffee. After drinking a few sips, I felt a hair come through the straw and into my mouth which was clearly not mine. I’m thoroughly disgusted. This was the last Dunkin’ location downtown that I would go to, after consistently receiving poor quality drinks at the Capital One Arena location. Now there are none that I’ll go to. Absolutely gross.

Dunkin': what do users think?

Andras Heczey: DD is growing out of the "standard" fast food diner to a more refined and affordable coffee shop-like place serving healthy sandwiches or avocado toast.

Jason Eden: Dunkin coffee is my go to on a tough morning. Always great at a reasonable price.

markina Hall: One of my favorite places for breakfast while im on the go. I purchased the new plant based sausage an it was amazing. My sandwich was piping hot , cheese perfectly gooey an my coffee was hot also. Customer service was perfect as always an the donuts was nice an soft

Bonnie Lee: Brewing hot coffee over ice into the iced coffee dispenser is NOT how you make iced coffee. The iced coffee tasted like brown water. Absolutely disgusting.

Al Ectric: I’m a huge DD fan, but this location is certainly the worst I’ve ever been. I just left after I was told that their latte/cappuccino machine isn’t working with cold shoulder and indifferent attitude. Attendants don’t even seem to be bothered to offer anything else as if I was there asking for a free drink. Certainly never stepping foot against you this location.

prajna naik: The employee was really rude. He billed us for 2 latte and a cappuccino. Once all the billing is done he tells us the machine is not working and he would serve us regular coffee instead. We decline and ask him to cancel the order, and to confirm we ask him if he cancelled the entire order. He yells at us saying he is doing it and asks us to get out of the store. So much for a cup of coffee!!!

Dunkin': what do users think?

Robin Burk: I ordered on Uber, 4 muffins and a coffee. I paid $25 including delivery. For my effort, I received, 1 muffin, 1 coffee and 8 of the worse donuts no one would want. They must have given what they had, not what I ordered. I protested to Uber and received a $10 credit, which means I paid $15 for a muffin and a plain cup of coffee, because I did What’s the likelihood that I’ll order from them again?

Sidd O.: I ordered a Turkey sausage, egg and cheese croissant but got it on an English muffin instead. It tasted good but not what I ordered.

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Very good location but not much variety to serve.

Google User: A worker told her 2 coworkers, “ I dropped her (the previous customer’s) bagel on the ground .. haha I got scared because I thought she saw me.” All 3 laughed about it.

Caroline CC: Manager and employees arrive late, close well before the corresponding time and provide terrible service. They should close this town if they will not serve their customers well!

Nahu Dimitri: Great staff that were friendly and helped with my selectionSocial distancing rules are being adhered too!

Having Fun With Scarlette: I asked for a caramel ice coffee and all I got was milk with one scoop of coffee and half pound of ice (NO caramel or sugar)

Reginald Addison: Wish it was no stars!!!! This is a dirty location that lets people in with no mask or proper mask. They don’t care to keep the public safe I just left today October 3rd 2022 7:30 am and staff and guest not wearing any mask. Children who are fairly contracting Covid they are not wearing mask!!!

Diangelo Carroll: This Dunkin’ Donuts need new management because the manager always leaving early and the are doing favoritism

Good Company Doughnuts & Cafe: what do users think?

Sarah K: Absolutely delicious!! There was a long line (Saturday morning, so fairly expected…but it was quite long), but it moved at a decent speed. Worth the wait. Coffee was smooth and delicious. Food was also incredibly tasty. Our party tried breakfast sandwich, breakfast bowl, and several donut flavors. Everything was really good. Plus, there was ample seating (indoor and outdoor options)…so despite how busy it was, our party of 5 was able to immediately find a table. Will definitely be back for more!

Lynelle Nicole: My gym instructor at VIDA recommended this place. The brisket breakfast sandwich with avocado is a game changer. They have a wide variety of pastries but the honey dip donut is my favorite: classic, larger than normal, and delicious. If you’re feeling saucy, try the little blue. It’s reminiscent of blueberry pancakes/pie. Not a fan of the coffee but everything else is aces. Definitely order ahead to skip the line.

Christina Ascani: The best donuts in Arlington! They always have the nicest people behind the counter and their donuts are top notch. Light, fluffy and full of flavor. My favorite is the chocolate cake. I also ordered a ‘party donut’ for the first time today and it was a hit! A unique and delicious way to celebrate a birthday. A must visit if you enjoy superb sweets!

Elizabeth Dou: Cute little spot to grab good coffee and a bite to eat. Great atmosphere with a friendly staff. The classic doughnuts were fresh but underwhelming. I think they’re speciality/seasonal doughnuts are probably the better option to order. They have an extensive menu besides doughnuts that sounds really good so I’m looking forward to trying that. It gets busy especially weekends mornings to be prepare to wait in line or order ahead online!

Nate B: We enjoyed this yes this place. It was busy with a line out the door. The staff was a little distracted but overall it was pleasant service. We had a few donuts, a smoothie, and a couple sandwiches. All were good. I would definitely recommend this place.

Stella Nino: My favorite doughnuts place ever!! Every time I come to DC I come to this place. Let’s start with the quiet welcoming environment, the crew always make me feel the only customer. The doughnuts are unique, fresh delicious with original styles. The coffee gets a 💯 and the place has high cleaning standards. Big applause to GOOD COMPANY DOUGHNUTS!!!

Alex Pierce: I’m going to be honest, i was not impressed with this doughnut shop. I was surprised because they seem to get great reviews. First, let me start with price. I had 6 doughnuts (1/2 dozen) and a small chai and it cost 27.00. 3.50 a doughnut is high in my opinion. 21.00 for half dozen, if you want half a dozen of mini doughnuts which are slightly larger than a doughnut hole, then you can spend slightly less at $15. They want nearly a dollar per doughnut hole at $10 for 12. Next their flavors look very interesting, and unique but when you bite in to them they are lack luster. The cake doughnuts are pretty dry. I tried the melon, butter, chocolate, maple, berry, and plain. The melon had no hint of melon. Berry could be compared to a kids cereal. Chocolate and maple were the best. I ended up throwing the chai and doughnuts away as I was not pleased with the texture or flavor. Overall, the doughnuts were lack luster. I may stop buy another time to try out the breakfast sandwiches, but for the high price tag on this breakfast item I expected high quality.

Michelle: Doughnuts were delicious! Gingerbread sourdough with cream cheese filling was my favorite. Sufganiyot (raspberry filling) was nice and light. Line was long on Sunday morning but still moved moderately fast. It’s a bit of a cluster by the cash register - wish there was a more visible way to see the doughnut options while standing in line. Doughnuts are also quite pricy - $20 for half dozen.

Daniel Stabile: Nice variety of donut flavors. Loved it the first day we came and had to come back the next morning. WiFi seemed to be out while we were there, but other than that a great experience

Dunkin': what do users think?

Kenneth Kiser: Are you kidding me? My taste buds would choke me if I called this place good. NOT!!!

D G: I have been coming here more frequently lately and I have to say the service is awesome! Always have my order right and quick and both provide premium customer service. Thank you both for making my mornings!

Jackson Caesar: Always great customer service at this location. Keep it up!

Aries A: Probably the best Dunkin in the area. Always got my coffee consistenly perfect. Chell and the crew got everything down like clockwork 👍

Allan Saunders: Great service, great coffee. Although the store itself is a little small, the customer service easily makes up for any discomfort. They always remember my order and get it to me as quickly as possible.

Dunkin': what do users think?

Nicole Earle: This is a Dunkin AND Baskin Robbins location (in case anyone is wondering). I’ve visited for both coffee and ice cream since I moved to SE in May 21 and I have had great service every visit. From early in the morning for coffee before work to later in the evening for ice cream, this is a great store with friendly employees.

Joseph Mathias: Ordered cold brew with cold foam and specifically said to add less ice and just 2 pumps of liquid cane sugar. What I got back was NO ICE in the cold brew, TONS of sugar (to the point where it tasted like I was drinking liquid diabetes). Asked the person to remake my drink and she said it was how I said I wanted it. I told her that’s not what I said or asked for. Rude service, order not right, not a good look.

Kate Miller: Great group of people. They helped me order my dsughters birthday "tower of donuts" without struggle.

Alice Thornton: Ordered donuts through DoorDash, never get them. FOUR TIMES so far. Drivers blame chatty workers.

Cynthia Guillen: Ordered a birthday online from this location. Showed up the day of pickup to be told they didn’t have it. The manager wasn’t at the store so they told me I’d need to come back the next day if I wanted a refund. The other option was taking 2 cakes from the freezer, they looked to be in bad shape, with freezer burn and poor design. Manager wouldn’t answer the phone, never returned my calls or text.
