Easy Eats: Hey! This place is actually a very good. The owners are friendly. I believe day also have dog day care! What a nice bonus... They have been in this business for long time so that tells you the experience .

Heather Bryn: Isabella has been going to Diva Dogs for over 6 years now. Highly recommend them.

Nick Pinero: Never bring your Labradoodle to this location. Today was the first and last time. You spend $140 just for them to shave all the hair off (even though you showed a picture and requested a poodle head-style). Could have gone to Petco Grooming for the same bad haircut for half the price. At least they know not to shave a Labradoodle’s head the same length as the body and make him look like a rat. Update from next day: he somehow has pink eye now.

S De: I have taken my puppy there 3 times. Each time I am charged a different price that keeps increasing and my dog comes home looking like another breed. They have shaved him twice instead of groomed him and did not bother to comb his ears. $120 plus tip and poor customer service.

Morgan Champion: I haven't used the mobile grooming services yet, but I highly recommend their brick and mortar store. The staff is very friendly and they do a great job with my Newfoundland mix. It's the only place I've ever taken him where he's not terrified to go in or very anxious to leave when I pick him up. They really treat the dogs quite well. Excellent service!

Lisa Parker: Diva Dogs is family-owned and I’ve used them for seven years. April and John are very attentive and friendly, and my dogs always come home happy and well-groomed. A gem of a place in the Palisades!

Kathryn Gilliland: I have a schnorkie and he's small but his hair grows fast and long. He's a squirmer and hates the groomer. I've had unhappy groomers in the past and one time he squirmed and the groomer nicked him with the clippers. When I moved to the neighborhood I started taking him to Diva Dogs. It's perfect. After at least four grooms, I can say I'm very happy there. It's more expensive, but my dog doesn't even seem anxious to go there and the groom always looks nice. They've never said he was difficult and when I pick him up he always seems himself and happier to be hair-free. Not traumatized by the experience. I suspect the groomers have a special way with dogs.

Valdinei chaves: How to destroy a dog. Shaved as a ship or even worse. My first time I was happy to know that they knew how to trim a Westi, today I had back a terrible surprise not only they didn’t trim the dog but they used a razor with so many different lengths that hair growth will be a disaster. Don’t go there for westi.

Rachel Cintron: Critical: Quality, ValueThis was expensive - $85 for a simple wash/cut and they did not even cut the dog the way I requested. They left his fur so long, I had to have it redone within just a few weeks. Communication was also part of the challenge.

Alex D: The brick-and-mortar grooming salon on MacArthur is excellent. I haven't tried the mobile grooming service yet. We took our labradoodle in for a summer cut and they did the works. Shampoo, cut, nails, ears, etc. There is a nice nail salon next door, so I got a mani/pedi while the dog had her salon day, too. Very convenient. The staff was friendly, the store was clean and the dog was happy, so overall I am happy.

Molly Sober: Gabi is amazing! My mini-poodle Toby leaves his appointments looking (and smelling) FABULOUS. Gabi knows that Toby does not like the dryer or having his ears cleaned so she finds other solutions to make him comfortable. She spoils him like he is her own dog and he loves her for it!

bryan harrison: I've been taking my Bernedoodle to DC Petropolis for almost 4 years now and always come away impressed with how good he looks after getting groomed! He comes home soft, fluffy, smelling great, looking like a whole new dog, and with a nice bandana to complete the look every time. Five stars really doesn't do justice to how great DC Petropolis is.

Alexandra Bucaciuc: We love going to Gabi for all grooming services, cuts and regular baths! My dog always has the best experience and walks out of there looking as dapper as ever. Gabi listens to feedback and gives great advice to new comers on type of cuts, framing of the face, etc. She is also very flexible and easy to work with. We love DC Petropolis and have recommended it to a few fur friends!

Jacqueline Sanford: I love DC Petropolis! Gaby the groomer is wonderful with the dogs and gives the best cuts! People stop me all the time to inquire where I get my toy Schnauzer groomed. He loves going to see Gaby. When I first started bringing him here, she insisted that I bring him by so that he could get acclimated to her and the grooming studio. If you are looking for a place to have your fur baby groomed, I highly recommend DC Petropolis!

Lauren Edwards: We took our pup Lennox to DC Petropolis for the first time today, and I can't say enough good things about this place. She hasn't had the best experience with grooming in the past, but Gabi took her time with Lennox to make sure she wasn't pushing her too far out of her comfort zone. I can't yet say that she loves going to the groomer, but I feel beyond comfortable with her in Gabi's care and know that she's in good hands! I highly recommend booking your dog an appointment with DC Petropolis.

We’ve been going for the past several years, in the past our pup has been nervous when it comes to grooming but when she shows up at DC Petropolis she walks right in without hesitation which is a huge testament to the care that the DC Petropolis team provides. Kaitlin Logan Wimmer: We've been bringing our dogs to Gabi for over a year now. After living in multiple cities, I can confidently say she is the best groomer we've ever had. She makes it so easy to schedule and is always accommodating. She's recently groomed our dogs after some health concerns and was great about their safety and making them look great even though their fur was a complete mess. Most importantly, she really loves our dogs and they love her, so I know they're in good hands with her. I never write reviews, but DC Petropolis is really that good.

Amber Ellison: I took my puppy here after having a horrible grooming experience at another place. When I dropped Frankie off at Bonnie’s, I talked to the groomer and explained what had happened last time (Frankie had double ear infections that resulted in matting around her ears and face) and he listened carefully, was very gentle, and made her feel comfortable when she was nervous. He did an amazing job with her cut and she seemed much happier when I picked her up than when I have at other places. I’ll definitely keep taking Frankie here for her grooming.

shelly morgan: Excellent service!!!! Bonnie's is very very friendly and they did an amazing job on my Alusky! As you can see by our picture his coat is absolutely beautiful now with no signs of the shedding picks he gets this time of year. It's been 1 week and still no shedding which tells me they were very attentive to the undercoat making sure it was raked and blown out. Thank you so much!

James Welch: What a great experience! From the moment we walked into the shop the staff was attentive. They were so gentle and reassuring to Chase (my dog). When I picked Chase up I was so pleased with his cut (and the price). His cut has actually continued to look good as it grows out. It was our first visit but it will not be our last!

Devon Murphy: Have been going to Arlington for years for a groomer - I have NO idea why, this place is absolutely awesome. Transparent, accommodating, understanding and great groomers. Highly recommend!

Jonise Jackson: My dog has been coming here for a few years and they have not disappointed me. Angelo is her groomer and does such a great job with her. My dog does not like restraint, but Angelo and his colleagues have great techniques that work well with my dog. Bonnie's specializes in dogs who are not easy to handle. The entire staff from front desk, Minu (super friendly and professional) to the groomers are welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

I have worked for years to implement and share with the entire grooming industry ways to keep dogs safe during grooming with comfortable restraint which allows them to relax and reduces the chance of injury. The "3-point" restraint that you can observe in our open grooming salon insures that the "safety belts" are loose enough to not bother the dog, but positioned in a way to keep the dog from falling from the table. This, along with my positive reinforcement behavior shaping for grooming dogs was revolutionary when I first introduced it in grooming seminars and videos in the 90s, but thankfully more and more grooming establishments are using the techniques. (BTW our receptionist's name is "Nino", but I do like the name Minu - maybe we will start calling them that ;-)

Marianna Oykhman: Dropped in for a nail trim for two pups. Called ahead to make sure the time would work. There a window for walk in nail trims. Worked out well. They were really careful with both pups and did their best to keep them comfortable. Really appreciate the fast service. Will be back.

Jessica Roberts: Posy absolutely loves Mini Mondays at Patrick's. As soon as we get anywhere near the building, she starts whining with excitement, and once through the front door, she doesn't look back at me once. Ian and Emma are such wonderful trainers with her and I can tell she's getting a ton of enrichment playing with other dogs and doing activities all day. I've already noticed a huge improvement in her sharing abilities and recall and can't recommend the Mini Mondays Montessori program highly enough for small dogs! It is the highlight of her week and I love seeing her so excited.

Sneha: Baloo just completed Patrick's Puppy Head Start Part One and Part Two with Nikita, and I can't say enough good things about it. The first day I dropped him off, he was shaking and clinging to me. The second time, and every time after that, he ran right in. He clearly loves going and absolutely adores Nikita. I don't know what we would have done without them, we were very overwhelmed when we enrolled Baloo in their program. It really gave us a structured plan to work on with him, and it's been amazing to see him improve from week to week. Nikita is a puppy whisperer. She helped us with every problematic behavior he had, and he's grown into a really good boy. There are still a few things we need to work on with him, so I won't say we've 100% solved everything....but he is miles ahead of most other dogs his age that I meet. He's polite, he comes when he's called (even in distracted environment ). He's good about checking in. He also has all his important commands down. They introduced it during Head Start, and we reinforced it at home. I find that with new commands, the hardest part is getting it to click, which Patrick's does amazingly. Concepts that take me multiple days to teach the puppy, Nikita manages to do in a few short hours. They've helped him become socialized to grooming, weird noises and different surfaces, all important in a city! He's also learned excellent play behavior with other dogs. Nikita does such a great job of monitoring the puppies and reinforcing positive, healthy behavior. I also loved the photos and report cards at the end of the day, so did Baloo. When Baloo hears Nikita's voice, he drops whatever he's doing to come over and look for her. Overall, such a positive experience. I find that you really get out of the program what you put into it! The more you work with the puppy out of hours and reach out to the instructors for help, the more progress you see. Highly recommend it!

Seraphina Ferraro: I cannot begin to sing the praises of Patrick's loudly enough. I brought my 7 month old puppy, Emet, who is a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, to see them today for his first ever grooming appointment. They were so communicative during the appointment, including me in Zoom calls throughout the day and letting me know how he did on breaks. It was obvious from the video chats that they put a lot of effort into getting him comfortable and gaining his trust. He's already an outgoing little guy, but they were so patient with him and it showed in how happy he was in the videos. Their report card was incredibly thorough and really let me know how things went, and included bonus videos of him getting trimmed as well as photos of the process. It's clear that they really love dogs and love what they do. He came out looking great, and they laid the foundation for many more happy grooming appointments to come.

Simon Roberts: We are so happy with the service and attention that our Shih Tzu/Mini Poodle mix Rocco has been receiving that if I could give Patrick's 6 stars I would. Their attention to detail and general concern for every dog in their care is amazing from Ian with Mini Dog Mondays to Emma with small dog Montessori. Their reports are frankly more informative than anything I ever received for my kids and given our dog's separation anxiety, knowing exactly how Rocco is doing is very helpful. In addition, the webcams give us the option to check on Rocco throughout the day. Great organization.

Jack Zietman: I don’t have enough good to say about Patrick’s Pet Care. Our small dog loves everyone there—human and dog—and the staff engage warmly, playfully, and attentively with her and all of the dogs. Our dog has been through the Day Care 101 program and now regularly attends Doggie Montessori School; she also goes to Patrick’s for grooming and some additional training. I can’t imagine sending our dog anywhere else—Patrick’s is just wonderful.

Susan Patterson: I've been sending my pup Georgia to Patrick's Pet Care Montessori School for two months now, and she is making great progress! Georgia's social skills definitely needed some improvement, and Emma (aka the Dog Whisperer of Columbia Heights!) has been amazing with her, helping her gain confidence and teaching her to play well with the other dogs. Georgia isn't even sad when I drop her off in the mornings any more - she runs right in to say hi to Emma and her new four-legged friends. Highly recommend!

Zoe Yousik: I already recommend Patrick's to everyone I encounter on my walks so making it more official here. Emma Teller first did an amazing job training and guiding my cautious puppy through the newly created Dog Daycare 101. Then in the regular daycare Emma continues training all the attendees. She does the most to make sure the dogs are playing in appropriate energy level play groups, learning new things, and getting constant attention. The end of day report cards are lovely. Getting a video of my puppy walking up stairs, and activity she had completely refused to do, was the highlight of my week! We do grooming at Patrick's as well and they do a great job while still keeping my puppy so excited to attend.

Daniele Wilson: I wholeheartedly recommend Patrick's Pet Care!! Hands down, Patrick's Pet Care is one of the best doggy daycares in DC. My dog has slight anxiety around larger dogs and would prefer to spend all day cuddling with humans, which doesn't make for a great time at most of the other daycares in DC. Patrick's Pet Care not only has a location specifically for smaller dogs but their enrichment activities are a sure fire way to make sure your pup comes home happy and exhausted. The entire team at Patrick's Pet Care is great, but Emma is by far the best. Emma takes great care of my dog and makes the best report card videos that I look forward to watching every single time. I'm so happy that I found Patrick's Pet Care!

Capree Houston: Patrick's Pet Care is 5 star! After researching various doggy daycare options, I decided to give Patrick's a try. It is one of the best decisions I've made for my 11 month old Frenchie! My pup is a very "spirited" dog who goes from 0 to 100 in an instant, and never meets a stranger. Emma has done a great job helping her to focus, learn how to regulate her excitement level, and learn how to play at appropriate levels. I love that Emma teaches her new things and has helped her meet her goals in such a short amount of time. Although I pass several doggy daycares on my way to Patrick's in Columbia Heights, I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else!

Michon Bunch: I am super grateful to Patrick's Pet Care especially Emma. My pup absolutely adores Emma and loves the Montessori School curriculum. During drop off, Kori jumps out of the car and runs and dances all the way to Patrick's front door! As soon as Emma greets us, Kori runs in not even looking back for me. At the end of the day, I always look forward to the detailed report card and pictures of Kori's exciting day. Elise Bundl Egan: We have taken our poodle to Myeshia at District Dogs Navy Yard for grooming for over a year now. She always makes him look so good and dapper. We would especially recommend any poodley dogs to go to Myeshia for their grooming needs, but I'm sure her work with other dogs is incredible too! We particularly loved the mowhawk look she gave our boy for his birthday 🎉

Catharine Harris: Myeshia has been grooming my havapoo for a couple of years now and she always does an amazing job! Not only is the cut great, but she's so sweet and my pup is always excited to see her.

Zoe Ashton: This was our second visit to District Dogs in Navy Yard. Up until now we loved everything about this place - easy scheduling, timeliness... When we dropped off today, one of the employees even remembered our dog's name when we walked in the door. Unfortunately, we did not get the hair cut that we asked for (keep his face and legs a little full - classic Yorkie cut). We tried to explain this to the salon manager at pick up but she insisted what we asked for could not be done. Our issue is that we should have been told this at drop off or at the very least been contacted before they decided to cut all of his hair off! To make matters worse, when we called to speak to the manager, he could not confirm that we "ordered." The only thing he did was send us our dog's report card which described his behavior. They spoke to us as if they didn't even care. You would think spending $120 for a pet haircut would entitle you to a little customer satisfaction. But i guess not. This was one of the worst customer service interactions that we have had in a very long time!!!! District Dogs should give customers a copy of their haircut order and special requests in writing before performing the service so that everyone is on the same page.

Hanane Grini: My dog was living her best life here. I was nervous at first because I never left her in a daycare but the staff here was so welcoming and reassuring, they made me feel at ease. It’s a clean environment for dogs to socialize and play. I also appreciated the progress report I received at the end of the day and the pictures. We will definitely be back!

Jaime Effinger: We’ve tried a couple of different groomers. District Dogs was the first time that I felt like a groomer was receptive to how we wanted our dog groomed, and actually delivered. Our pup’s hair was cut just like we wanted and he looked great! Very reasonably priced as well.

Lisa: Sophia trained our beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog in the Adult Basic and Adult Advanced training classes. Sophia is the ultimate trainer! We also used the Spa and it is wonderful as well. Our puppy just gleamed and smelled wonderful! Thank you District Dogs at Navy Yard!

Takara Cunningham: Everyone was extremely friendly and professional! The staff made my fur baby and I feel welcomed and a part of their family immediately. I felt no hesitation with leaving my dog with them. I would definitely recommend District Dog to anyone whose looking for a safe place for their fur babies.

Alette Gilje: I would recommend as a daycare it’s available and a great Navy Yard residents location. It’s a lot of dogs for a small space. Morning checkin was also really not handled well, they didn’t ask follow-up questions with my related bookings for grooming that day. They also were very non communicative and just kind of took my dog not even asking who it was. I had to follow-up on items myself including feeding details. I get it’s busy but as a pup parent at their first daycare drop off I did not feel whatsoever confident that my dog would have a good experience. He was fine and I had more anxiety about it than he did but still I needed to at least feel like management and staff were on top of things and the morning was chaotic for them

Michelle Majkut: My new puppy was a very nervous girl when she arrived in DC, but District Dogs has continuously provided opportunities for her to come out of her shell to become more social and comfortable with her other dogs and humans. We’ve attended Puppy Kindergarten (excellent option for puppies to first socialize), Yappy Hour social events (love to put her socializing skills to work), and most recently Structured Daycare. By far Structured Daycare has been the most perfect offering from DD for my pup - her very first day she was in a group with just 2 other small dogs and they got to play and learn commands together with an “attendant” alway there to ensure the dogs were all comfortable and appropriately playing. When I picked her up that day, it was the first time she walked out on her leash and then walked all the way home without getting scared or needing to be carried -her confidence and comfort was already apparent after just one day. I’ve seen some criticism of Structured Daycare about the dogs being in their crates for long times but I can assure you that after watching her entire day via webcam (yes, I’m THAT dog mom), she only spent ~30-45mins at a time in the crate next to her two new playgroup friends. While she is already crate trained, the pandemic has meant I’m home the majority of the time so she isn’t used to being crated during the day or while things are going on around her - so this was the perfect chance to get her comfortable in a crate outside of bedtime. We’ll be returning for a few more Structured Daycare days until she is ready for District Dogs’ regular daycare. 10/10 would highly recommend the classes, social events, and specialized daycare for anyone with a new dog who might be a bit timid, nervous, or just new to the city environment.

Katherine Moxley: I’ve been very happy with the services at District Dogs- Navy Yard. My puppy goes to daycare Monday-Friday and comes home happy and tired. She also gets groomed here which is super convenient! Everyone is very friendly and knows my pup by name. Definitely check them out!

Our little guy looks great and the groomer provided the exact cut we wanted. They arrived early (!) and were very communicative about when they would arrive and depart, as well confirming the reservation and asking for feedback etc. Very professional all around.

Felicia Price: Madison arrived early for our appointment and was just wonderful with my goldendoodle, Bastos. Because of recent surgery, I had been unable to keep up with brushing him and had to delegate to my son who was less thorough, leading to a lot of matting. Madison was so patient and kind and gave him a great short summer cut. We will definitely be regular customers!

Sarah Lopez: James did an incredible job on our puppy's first haircut. James took his time, was very conscious of making it a positive experience for our (nervous) dog and our pup looked FANTASTIC! It was one of the best groomings I have had with any of my dogs.

Joe J.: Although the grooming session for my little kitten Luna didn't go as planned, the nail trimming was fast and smooth. Be prepared to hold your pet still while services are being performed. Overall, if you're able to DIY, I'd suggest doing that over using a mobile grooming station such as this one, however great that sounds.
Response: Joe, cats can be unpredictable - which is why require the owners to be in the vehicle for both the safety of the groomer as well as the comfort of your cat. We'll always do our best to keep them calm and comfortable throughout our visit. While we apologize if part of your grooming session didn't go as smoothly as the nail trim portion, we still recommend trusting a professional with your grooming needs rather than attempting to DIY. LaToya Watson: Customer Service is everything to me and today was my last time ever doing business with this company my preferred groomer Mee Mee is awesome polite and very punctual… however the schedulers or office staff are the worse they’re all over the place and it’s so disorganized it’s ridiculous communication is key which the lack! Allison Varricchio: I am very disappointed with the quality of the grooming services we received from Pooches Kitties & Kisses and their overall professionalism. Here is what happened: My initial appointment on 10/23 was totally missed with zero acknowledgement from the company. It wasn't until after my appointment time when I called them (45 minutes later) that was I informed that they were not coming and my appointment had been rescheduled. I was never called or emailed to be informed that my appointment had been rescheduled. While I appreciate that they waved the convenience fee when they came from the rescheduled appointment, it wasn't a great start. When it came time for my dog (5 month puppy, first groom) to be groomed, I did not find the groomer to be in control of the situation. About 15 minutes into the service, the groomer called me to say she needed help. It was very obvious to me that the puppy was scared of the dryer. The groomers solution was to bringing the dog out of the van and onto the sidewalk which caused her to try to run home in fear which only made situations worse. I was trying to hold her/offer her treats and the groomer didn't do anything to try to help control the situation - all she did was point the dryer in the dog's face. This just elevated anxieties of both the dog (my dog has never shown this level of pure distress in any other situation; it was so obvious she was scared but the groomer did nothing to help manage this). During this period, the dog ended up covered in dirt, leaves and peanut butter and was more stressed than anything else. After a few minutes of this, the groomer just said the appointment was over. I don't think the groomer actually cut her coat at all. I get this was a puppy cut, but she has a lot of fur and she needed to be groomed - which is why I hired the company. The only cut she received was a bit around her face after I asked for the groomer to actually help clean up her face after the groomer tried to end the appointment- but you can tell from the picture - it wasn't done with any precision (after photo attached). I was charged full price for these services ($110) which is insane given that she wasn't cut and came home wet and dirtier than when she went in. I tried to share my concerns with the company 3 separate times. I emailed them twice after receiving the grooming services, and never received a response. I called to follow up and they promised to have the owner call me back - it's been four business days since that call and still no response from the owner. The lack of responsiveness is really unprofessional and frustrating. Given all of this, I would encourage those looking for a grooming service in the DMV area to look elsewhere.

Meera Marhoefer: Malekia is awesome! We used their mobile grooming service and had both of our dogs groomed back to back. We did the full grooming, with haircut/ear clean/nail grind/etc, and they were both done in less than 2 hours! I was so impressed at how quickly she groomed them, and the quality of the job. A little pricey, but worth it for the convenience and quality. Definitely will use them again!

Karen Galeas: This is my 3rd time going to Happy Groomers and each time has been a wonderful experience! The front desk person is always kind and flexible. Ginger is always squeaky clean after each visit and seems to feel comfortable at this place. I love the bandanas they provide after each visit, they’re so stylish! It’s safe to say this has become my go to spot for dog grooming! Highly recommend 🐾

629cassi: Great groomers!! My baby came out like a brand new dog! But sadly it will be the last time since they told me my dog is too big and their shop is too small for her. So if your dog is 35-45 lbs they probably won’t take your dog or if they’re a samoyed or along those lines. But either way they are amazing and gentle. I super appreciate them!

James Pilachowski: Went for a walk-in nail clipping. Was in and out in 4 minutes and they did a great job on my dog's nails (she's small and squirmy and makes it impossible for me to do myself).

Esther Sarpong: On Saturday September 18, 2021 I took my 17 week old puppy to Happy Grooming (3301 Lee Hwy, Arlington, VA 22207) for a grooming appointment. I was told that the process takes 2 hours and I can't stay with my pet. Upon return, I noticed my dog was very quiet and calm. I thought that this was possibly because this was her first grooming appointment. My dog seemed lethargic, her eyes were dilated and she was confused in our own home. I believe this groomer has given my dog some sort of sedative to calm her down. Now four days later my dog is so sick. We had to take my puppy to the vet. I received a call from Mary Tang only after a review was posted.

Katelyn Snider: We love Happy Grooming. They were recommended to me by a friend who used to live in the area for grooming her Pomeranian. We have a small, dachshund mix who can be nervous at the groomers. It used to be just easier to bath/groom her at home - even though I did a poor job - until we found Happy Grooming. Game changer! They do a fantastic job, great prices, are reliable and quick, great customer service, and my dog comes back happy and safe. You must call at least a week in advance if not more because they are often well booked up.

Erin Elliott: Best place ever for a cat’s nail trim. No appointment, 10 bucks, hand them the cat carrier and they’re done in 3 minutes.

nayeli Almaraz: First Service and I was beyond happy with how well the grooming turned out 😊😊 Honestly, these pictures don’t do justice to how good they looked! They also smelled amazing ! Our puppies looked so happy when they came back in. I also loved the convenience of the mobile grooming. Everyone was so nice and friendly and the owner responded in a timely manner. Julie Jackson: This was a great experience. I was able to work while Bella was being groomed which is really cool convenient. The groomer was 100% focused on my dog and she didn't have to be caged like at a brick and mortar store. Bella looked so good when she was done and she was so calm when she came back in the house. Brooke Cole: I have been using this grooming service less than a year. Both mobile and at their home. Every time I've used them, I loved the way they clean and cut my dog, however, I have been calling/texting for days now trying to book an appointment, no one has responded or called me back and their voicemail is full. This happened to me once before and I ended up having to find a different groomer. They do good work, but need improvement on the business side. I prefer consistency, therefore, I will be finding another groomer all together for my dog. In response to you, your correct, I never got an email. I called/texted all 3/4 numbers that I have for 2 weeks before I decided to go with someone else. And your response is a clear indication of poor business management.
Response: I see when we did a good job you ever put a review but when no body reply you in 24 hours you put a review it’s funny how human been is reacting with a situations One of our unit got a big accident and got destroyed the front part so we got 3 times busy we sent an email to everyone but I guess you didn’t read it

Lived here approximately 4yrs now (from Oregon) in search of a Master Groomer specializing with long haired dogs, specifically for our Miniature Aussie, without any luck until now. He smells wonderful ... better than myself oddly 🤪 Floki is soooo silky smooth, just in time for our weekend BBQ with friends 💖 Professional service, great communication, and most importantly ... met our expectations! Noor Khan: If you want to be humiliated in the comfort of your home and waste every single one of your hard earned dollars, then look no further than this absolute garbage of a service. I booked them for my pet cat and they did absolutely nothing besides take him from my front door to their van and bring him back in 5 minutes. Once they brought him back, they had done absolutely nothing as the cat was “uncooperative.” I asked them for a further discount to which I received an extremely rude and aggressive response. It was extremely disappointed considering their reviews but each single of these reviews is bought out and fake. I am NEVER going to rebook them and that is my advice to you as well that you go to a different and better service giving people.

Lashawn Graves: This guy, Alexander, wanted to charge me $70 to trim my rabbits nails and trim his hair. I told him that it was too high of a price, especially since he wasn’t giving him a bath and the rabbit is only 3 pounds. He said If I could take the rabbit to the house, he would charge me $40. Showed up at his house, rang the doorbell, and what sounded like 25 dogs, started barking. The guy hid in his house and never texted me. Guess he lied and canceled on me. I do not recommend this man’s service.

Patrick Morgan: My wife called twice. Was told to text both times. Never got a response. From reading many reviews it seems like you're a great dog groomer, but you lack experience on the business end. Perhaps it's time to consider a manager or an assistant to deal with booking and client management. Not every customer is a good customer. But you're losing business because of poor management. Learn from mistakes and know when it's time to grow your business.

Leslie V.: Wow! I am incredibly happy with how Dante and Princess looked, smelled, and felt (I could tell they were happy pups 😀). I would always take them to the vet so they can bathe them there, but they still smelled and didn't look that great. I am going to be a forever customer to Alexander and Yonis. They are very knowledgeable in pet grooming as well. They will talk to you about how to maintain your dog's coat healthy. They care, and that is what I love. They give you treats to give to your dogs, and they put on a cute tie for your boy dog and a cute handkerchief on your girl dog 😍😍😍.

Chris Lee: Agreed…as with the most recent reviews on here, I was a customer of Barkley for 4 years until my boy Grant passed away from an aggressive brain tumor. I never once complained about how there would be nicks or razor burns on Grant, my wheaten terrier, and love Kristina - the owner. Unfortunately their customer service has severely lapsed, and especially during the pandemic. As much as I have been flexible in my schedule, account management, and handling of Grant (even after another groomer said he seemed to be traumatized from previous grooming experiences as she was working with him on his last grooming); I never once uttered a complaint to them. Now when my my partner goes to contact them, after weeks and weeks of trying to get a hold of their accounting representative; they show no sympathy for my loss or for one of their popular clients that would always promote their business. In fact, they simply stated that his account “expired” and there was nothing that could be done. Thanks for nothing in this time of hurt in my life.
Response: Chris, I am truly sorry you feel this way. Our representative was very sympathetic for your situation (I saw the emails) and was simply reflecting the policy of our business. We did not say that nothing could be done - in fact, we offered to help in whatever way we could. I am also sorry that you had complaints as, as you mentioned, you never brought this to our attention and we certainly cannot address things that we do not know about. We loved helping you and Grant and we do regret that things went in this direction.

Jason Moore: My prior mobile grooming service moved to another location so I transitioned over to Berkley Square. The transition process was very smooth and the staff was very communicative and supportive. I just had my first mobile grooming session for my dog and it was very convenient for me and my dog. Staff was very friendly and did a great job. Definitely recommend Berkley Square!

Jessica Boyd: I went to the Pet Spa at Barkley square for about 2 years regularly with my mini golden-doodle. Kristina, the owner, is a lovely person and in general sets a welcoming tone. Previously, they had great groomers and service, but over the last 6 or more months I feel they have been struggling. I have experienced much longer appointments than expected (4-6 hrs), shifting appointment times and just sending a notice without asking if it works with my schedule, staff turnover and callouts, and scheduling and payment issues when they switched systems. The last straw for me was when one of the groomers cut square patches into my dog. I called twice to complain and ask for my next appointment with a different groomer and my call was never returned. When I said I didn't want that to happen again, the groomer defended it (professionally) and said it was because of matting and the shaving was what I wanted and she knew that because of her 10 years of experience. I think her name was Katie or probably Karen, but I don't need to pay more than $2000 a year for someone to disregard my wishes for dog's groom and to make it all about them. I believe the customer should have a say in what kind of cut their dog should get in consultation with the groomer but I didn’t receive that courtesy or reassurance it would be differently in the future. Unfortunately, the customer service is not up to my standard so I found a better place to receive service.
Response: Hello Jessica, I am sorry that this happened. Your groomer was giving you her professional opinion about matting which can be tricky to correct. It was not all about her at all - in fact, she was quite professional in addressing your concerns. I am sorry that it was not what you wanted to hear. We do take a bit longer with our grooms than previous because we have groomers that take a more holistic approach to the groom rather than trying to get it done as quickly as possible. Our business has gone through changes recently with turnover, but that is something that many, many businesses are dealing with right now as the general news can attest to. We are doing our best to serve our clients in the best way we can given the circumstances. We are not struggling any more than any other business is in the current environment. Nevertheless, we do regret that this situation occurred and we do take your feedback seriously and it is important to us.

Leah Cronlund: I took my adult Ragdoll cat, Gracie, to Barkley Square as she had a few small knots in her long-haired coat that I was unable to brush and was concerned would turn into mats. This was my first time taking a cat to a groomer, but I was extremely pleased with my experience at Barkley Square! The staff were all incredibly friendly and professional. They took the time to listen to my concerns and desired outcomes from the groom (knot removal, a light trim on her mane and bib and a toenail trim). I was initially nervous dropping her off, but after such a great consultation, I felt significantly more at ease. I requested the regular Long Haired Cat Grooming which included the things I requested, in addition to paw pad and sanitary area trimming. Milenka did a fabulous job with grooming Gracie! She ultimately did have to shave the knots (which we both knew might have to happen) as they were so close to the skin but did such a precise, neat job that you can’t see where she did shave unless you move the rest of Gracie’s hair. She trimmed Gracie’s bib and mane in the way that I had requested. She also finished at the exact time she had estimated when I dropped her off. And most importantly, Gracie was in good spirits (well…as much as any cat would be after being force-bathed haha) when I picked her up, which tells me she was treated kindly. Cat grooming isn’t for the faint of heart, but I’d wholly recommend Barkley Square for any fellow cat parents!

David Brzozowski: I recently took my 8 y.o. Samoyed here for grooming and Barkley Square did an INCREDIBLE job! My dog has never looked so good. There is absolutely no comparison to previous groomers I've taken him to. The staff were all very friendly and you can tell that they really care about their work and the dogs they're grooming. I couldn't recommend Barkeley Square enough!

Nicolette Tosner: I cannot say enough great things about Barkley Square! First, the online booking system is super convenient. I was able to book an appointment with Melissa easily. A friend recommended Barkley Square after we had a bad experience at another groomer in Alexandria. It was really important to me that the groomer was patient with my 6 month old, energetic, wiggly puppy. Melissa was just that! She took the time to come out and introduce herself and listen to what I was looking for with his cut. She texted mid groom to check the length. We have definitely found our go-to grooming spot and will absolutely be back! Thank you Barkley Square!

Victoria Long: Been going to Barkley for over 8 years. Love them today as much as when I started. Good services. Great friendly staff. Best groomer I've ever found in terms of keeping pets only the needed time. Your dog won't be in a cage here for 8 hours. And if you have a puppy who needs to learn how to be ok at the groomer, they have a whole approach to just getting them used to the environment incrementally--setting your pet up for a lifetime of good experiences.

Candace M: I went for the first time to have both my cat and dog groomed the same day. My cat is a long hair mix and my dog is a Newfoundland. My cat has been groomed before (he is 9) but this was the first time for my dog to be professionally groomed. My dog is 1 and we had done at home treatments but never on a professional level. First off, when I reached out they were so responsive and even guided me to have my cat come in early so it would be quiet for his grooming. Second, during both the groomings they kept in touch if there were any changes/recommendations( the length for my cat and the de-matting to my dogs front legs) They both look awesome! And the best part is you can tell they feel good! I cannot recommend this place enough! Really great environment for both cats and dogs. Staff was very kind and knowledgeable!

I am huge on customer service and I can tell you they are second to none. After speaking with her, I may have found the best groomer for my Tedster!! Caring is essential, and that she does. Willing to take my pup back simply because I felt heard! Thank you for speaking to me and addressing my concerns! We will be back. I believe my expectations will not only be met, but exceeded, simply because you care!! Initially I thought I'd definitely found the place! But that was initially! While I am mostly satisfied with the cut, it isn't as pristine as I had expected. It could have been a bit cleaner in the face. What is disappointing is the smell. He smelled better upon going in. The facility smells like dog, and that is exactly how he smelled. Even my 9 yo godson said when we picked him up and got in the car. "I love Teddy, but I hate the way he smells!"

Mike Sargent: Not sure why this place gets such great reviews, we took our miniature Aussie there and I could barely tell she had been groomed afterwards. The salon was extremely busy, with several dogs waiting to be groomed and a holding area for those that were finished. After seeing our dog, we got the impression that they were just running them through as quickly as possible. For $120., it was a total rip-off. We would have been better served at Petsmart for less than half the price frankly, we will never go back...

Our database does not have your name in it but we do have a Mini Aussie that was groomed just shy of 5 months ago on January 14, 2022 with the same last name but the price we charged was not $120 but less than that, so honestly we are not 100% sure it is the same pup. If it is, we are very sorry you were not satisfied with the groom. We always ask for feedback at pick up and also with follow up messages and would have loved to have heard from you at the time. If you wanted a tighter outline trim or a touch up, we would have absolutely done so for you right away. Our spa is cage free and completely open to the public so there is full transparency. And because we do not groom behind closed doors or hold dogs in cages in the back, yes it can look busier at times when pups are waiting for their parents to pick up, new clients are checking in and other dogs are are being groomed. Our talented and dedicated team of groomers never ever rush through grooms; they take the time they need to safely groom. I regret you got that impression. Davon Jenkins: I brought my 9 month old Miniature Schnauzer to get a grooming. We typically travel from DC to arundel County MD for a reliable Schnauzer cut. 1 day I saw a gentleman with his Schnauzer and I asked where did he go and get is puppy groomed because the work was awesome. He said head to tails. The rest is History lol! We groomed my furbaby and she was excellent! Perfect trimmings and she was very friendly at Hello! I felt totally comfortable leaving my lil man month her. I say all this to say that we found our forever groomer. This would be a 5 if his ears had been stripped. I don't know if I needed to suggest that or not but I will be back.

She takes the time to listen to what you envision and our pup, Berkley, just loves her. Cannot recommend From Head to Tail Spa enough - they care about your pet and your four legged friend will come back smelling and looking amazing!

He was adorable, smelled great and adorned with a little bowtie as well. When I picked him up the spa was busy. They groom where you can see and the dogs are able to move around freely. Dogs and people were happy and welcoming!

Drea Dawson: It took 2 tries, but in the end he came out alright. For $140, I didn't feel like it was worth it, so won't be returning. However, good customer service on addressing issues and dissatisfaction. The first 10 or so pics are our first visit, the rest are after our return and he corrections were made. Kendal Orgera: Sadly not coming back here. They missed so many spots on my long haired cat and while they gave me a discount it’s frustrating. The owner/managers clearly care about their reviews, but it was super upsetting to me. Plus there’s no clear separation between dogs and cats which stresses your pets out a ton.

Laura Vincent: I love bringing my dogs to citydogs for doggy daycare. They come home happy and dog tired. I love reading my daily report cards, so cute :) The staff are friendly with me and observant of my pups’ needs. For example, my dogs are in between a big dog and a small dog size. Ginsy is confident and can play with any sized dog, the David is beta and submits easily to bigger dogs, but they are bonded. One day, David wasn’t having as much fun in the big dog room. So, the staff moved them both to the small dog room to see if that was more enjoyable. It was! Since then, both my pups get the most out of their visits and are always excited to go back. The one downside is that the facility is indoors and the floors are tile. It’s inevitable their paws will be a little stinky when they get home. But you can’t blame city dogs for that! This is very common for doggy daycares in the city; It comes with the territory. I recommend using “Scrubby rinse free shampoo mittens” with oatmeal waterless shampoo or oatmeal wipes. It’s a great alternative to a full bath that will still get them clean. If it’s time for your dog to get a bath, city dogs has bathing services that are affordable. And they schedule the bath around when you will pick your pup up, so they are fresh and clean when you arrive.

MICHELLE MARSHALL: This is my first dog and her first grooming experience. I was very excited for her. However, when I got home to see her I cried. She looked horrible. All her beautiful fir on her face was gone. Her hair was frizzy, dry and wild. The cut looked very unfinished and uneven even though all we asked for was a trim. The groomer cut too close on her nose and created a cut/irritation. She’s been scratching at it ever since. Not to mention one of her paws is still sharp. I’m not only dissatisfied but I feel guilty for Putting her through this. I’ve wasted money before and can get over that but my baby is looking bad right now. I haven’t gone there to complain or argue…. Even though I’m angry and sad. What’s done is done. She will not be returning for a grooming experience. I’ve seen better work at petco. If you believe me check out the before & after pics……

Haddassah Goldberg: I have been considering giving City Dogs a try because we recently moved to the neighborhood and they’re so close to my home, but I walked by this afternoon and they had their front door propped wide open. My dog is a runner, and I’m sure he’s not the only dog who would make a break for it if he made it to the lobby. I will be looking elsewhere because this left an awful taste in my mouth.

We share and understand your concern for dog safety, but we do have mitigations in place on occasions where we’re bringing in some fresh air. Please come take a look inside sometime. We consider our dog customers and their human parents like family, and we appreciate the chance to talk through concerns with customers before posting a review. After our front door, 4 additional doors separate our play rooms from the outside. Our play areas are on the lower level and we have two doors in the stairwell and two doors on each playroom. We would never encourage a customer to bring their dog if it’s not a good environment for them, and we won’t hesitate to let you know. So please, come inside sometime and check it out for yourself sometime.

Megan Bailey: I brought my dog there for the first time and put in specific instructions regarding my dog being sensitive and to go slow. I also gave instructions when I dropped him off. When I picked him up I asked how it went and they said great! He was cut shorter than I preferred but that was fine. I get my dog into the car and he is absolutely terrified. He growled at me several times when I tried to touch his tail or feet which has not happened before. I am not sure what they did to my dog but I would never recommend this place. As an FYI I also emailed them and it has been over a week with no response about this.

Kristie Dennis: It was my puppy’s first full grooming experience. Upon arrival not only did they greet him but they let him walk/sniff around a bit to get comfortable in the new setting. Jenifer was super helpful in helping me decide his cut/styling and helped me choose a picture to share with his groomer as well, and well…she nailed it! April Sprague: Best grooming experience we've had in years. My dogs are not the easiest customers. They're high strung. One is experienced at being groomed and the other has never been before. Both dogs were completed in a timely manner, we were promptly called, and we promptly picked them up. I always check their ears and armpits for a quality groom and their ears were sparkling clean and their armpits were beautifully trimmed. What especially sold me was how my youngest dog acted. He hates being outside the house and away from his family and is scared of everything unfamiliar. He didn't recognize me at pickup and when he was placed on the ground he immediately slinked over to his groomer and sat by her feet. It reassured me that he felt safest by her.

Their quality of grooming, combined with special "dog whispering" magic, (our dog was traumatized by a pet groomer), made bath and brush day very stressful. I sent an email because they were closed and it was responded to promptly in the morning by Bill. I gave them a ring and the customer service was great- they were able to get me in the next day. Rosa came out today to my home and she was in and out in a hour. SHE DID FANTASTIC! I have a long haired border collie/ lab and last time I took him to get groomed somewhere else he came back basically shaved. Rosa completely restored my faith in groomers and I will absolutely use her again. And the pricing is extremely reasonable ! THANK YOU!!!!

Indian Head Animal Hospital has all the latest equipment, 1st in the area to offer Lazer surgery, clean, welcoming, has an app, an online portal, organzied, and responsive. I won't take my furry baby anywhere else.

Tracey: First time going to this animal hospital and was pleasantly surprised. If I were a dog I would want my owner to take me to this hospital. It's very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It was a very positive experience for me and my fur baby. Prices are reasonable as well.

More to the point, they are good. What sold hubs is the fact that, 10 years ago, he got a dire prognosis for our black cat, was told to put him down, went to Indian Head, and Mr. black cat is alive and well, just suffering from kitty asthma. So basically, we are customers until we leave the area entirely.

Delmi Moreno Carbajal: Came multiple time to have my dog check and took multiple x-rays and never found what was wrong with my dog... they were useless, but when I took my dog to Emmavet they immediately were able to diagnose what was wrong with my dog and acted accordingly. Very sad to know Indian Head Animal hospital have poor service towards this amazing animal who are suffering which is why I people take thier animals in the first place and spend so much money for nothing at least on my experience

Monique: I am new to the state and looking for a Vet, while holding to speak with a receptionist I was reading through the reviews seeing negative comments about the workers at the desk. I just spoke with Brianna who was VERY nice, VERY professional and VERY helpful. Yes like all vets they are very booked up and you are unlikely to get a quick appointment but my contact with their desk staff was a positive experience.

Kate Downs: They have been our vet for years. Compassionate and caring as well as knowledgeable, this is absolutely the vet you take your pets to.

Gerald Wilson: On Friday, April 23, 2021, I took our 7 year old Boxer, "Deuce," to see "Dr. Stacey [Young, DVM]," because he was lethargic, jaundiced and maybe at the end of his life. Our visit began by noticing the extremely professional and safe (COVID-19 sensitive) intake process for dropping Deuce off for treatment. Dr. Stacey called me to discuss her assessment. While the news wasn't good, she was cautiously optimistic and recommended a course of action short of euthanasia to ensure we had given our beloved pet his best opportunity for survival. I could take Deuce back home to our anxious children! Unfortunately, our excitement in bringing him home was dashed that evening when he passed away in his house. It was wonderful that he was able to die peacefully at home. Thanks to Dr. Stacey and Deuce, we had no questions or second thoughts about whether it was his time to go. 'Rest in peace,' Deuce! Thank you, Dr. Stacey for all you and Indian Head Animal Hospital did over his 7 years of life to help him be happy and productive. Melissa: I don’t think I could go to any other groomer after Dogtopia. The staff here were friendly and patient with Kodi and he came out of his appointment just two hours after I dropped him off looking and smelling wonderful. Gigi, especially, was very kind and patient with Kodi to ease his anxiety. I received updates and photos so that I knew Kodi was doing well and to make sure I was happy with his cut before she finished up. I was blown away with how great and affordable the service was. I will be continuing to walk down the street, past my former groomer, to get Kodi to Dogtopia for all his grooming needs—it’s far worth it.

lexi f: was super excited to take my dog here, she loved the place and some of the staff. Until, I arrived a 6am to drop her off and no one was there.. 620 and finally some came out after multiple knocks, phone calls and e-mails. Manager blamed me because I didnt set up the membership YET but had 4 email confirmations saying I could come at 6 and sign up afterwards. Horrible customer service.

Amber A.: I wanted to share my first and only experience I plan to have at dogtopia. My dog went in for a meet and greet and was accepted. I do like that I was able to see my dog through the webcams. There was a duration that I watched for an hour and there was no interaction with my dog. The dogs run around in a small room and go in circles. Honestly, if I wanted my dog to run around in one space she can be at home. This is not the worse part- when picking up my dog she comes running out... no one walked her out or handed her leash to me. On top of that, my dog was completely covered in pee. I wish that I could be exaggerating, but it was all over her fur. Her head, her back, her stomach, legs and tail. Her paws and legs were actually the color black, and I have a light brown goldendoodle. The pee was dried into her coat, so it was not as if she just rolled in it. The smell was strong. I called the place after picking up my puppy, because they were busy with pick ups and the girl in the front walked away and expressed my concern She said the best they could do is give me a free grooming the next time my dog goes. I let her know that I do not plan on returning my pet and asked for a supervisor or HQ to speak with. I was informed that the district manager will reach out to me. This occurred on 6/24/2022 and as of 6/30/2022 I have not been followed up with from dogtopia. I do have pictures that I will not post here, from pick up, the photos of her fur, and from cleaning her and seeing the discolorations come out of her fur. I have had pets in the past attend daycares (not dogtopia) and this has never been my experience. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Kirk Coleman: GiGi is the best groomer I’ve had! I have a moyen red poodle who needs grooming at least once a month, and GiGi always rises to the occasion! She’s always attentive to my dog’s needs and consistently gives him the best grooming service. My dog gets excited every time we go to Dogtopia because he knows GiGi will take care of him. Highly recommend!

Ashley Miller: Prior to this experience, I have never had a dog groomed before. I took my shedding boarder collie here for a brush out and a bath. The ladies, as soon as we walked in, made us both feel comfortable and welcomed. My boarder collie is a rescue and very skiddish. They were petting him and loving on him, instantly. They did a phenomenal job trimming and brushing him. They were fast and precise. I highly recommend! And I’ll continue taking my baby here too!!

Doko Kori: The ladies were very pleasant but..my dog got fleas from their place..and they never bothered to bathe my baby girl..I brought her home..and had fleas up the wazoos!!! I had to bomb my whole house wich cost me abitt over $100. and that didn't even kill the fleas..now I am having to hier professionals...and that's gonna cost me some $$$$$$$ I like these ladies..but I wish they would bathe my dog..instead they let me bring her home fulll of fleas!!! I won't be going there again.

Allison Guy: This Petco might be good for other things, but the conditions their birds are kept in are nightmarish. The parakeets do not have adequate perches of different sizes, any chewing toys, and they are fed on a cheap, unhealthy all-seed diet. I also watched as a woman pried open one of the plexiglass doors and let a budgie escape. As for the parrots, well, have a look at the photo — a tiny enclosure with no opportunity to climb, chew, fly or have social interaction. Same unhealthy seed diet, water bowls full of droppings. Their heads were full of painful pin feathers because they had no bird or human companion to groom them. Imagine sitting on the same perch in a glass box all day with nothing to do, for weeks and months on end. This is absolute torture for such a smart, social animal.

carolyn jackson: My son and I love, love, love this store. We are here every week doing a fish tank water sample test. The manager Donnell in the fish dept. Is very nice, helpful. knowledgeable, and professional. He and the staff are always ready to help you in any way. It a fun store to shop.

Dani Rios: We casually visited this store and left with the best impression. The nice cashier seemed sincerely interested in learning about our puppy and gave us some great tips about the excessive chewing. We regret not asking her name, she was a nice African American lady. Thank you!

Sarah Levine: I did a puppy training class with Jen and she is an excellent trainer. She understands dog behavior and how to use positive training to get results. My puppy started off hating going into the store and by the end she was dragging me in because she was so excited to go to class. I highly recommend taking training classes with Jen.

Courtney: Jill was so helpful and informative—just got a puppy and she helped us find the right cleaning spray for accidents in the house. The store was clean and organized. Will be coming to this Petco in DC from now on!

Summer Bryant Campell: Mr. Darnell was very knowledgeable and compassionate about the proper living space, food and bedding for the newest addition to our family our guinea pig. You can tell he loves animals and wants the very best for them. Ms. Alexis, who was at the register when we bought our guinea, gave her a check once over and reminded us to check our guinea’s ears, nails and reminded us of possible bald patches that can be caused by ring worm and / or mites. She was also very caring and showed our guinea lots of love. The professionalism, and customer we experience each time we shop at this Petco keeps us coming back.

Crystal Robertson: Joanie did an amazing job on our 14 lb pomeranian, Koko. Although now she may be more like 11 lbs because she needed so much fur removed. She was in dire need of a groom and EVERYONE is booked for months. So I called Classy Lassy on a whim, having never tried a mobile groomer before. She ended up getting a shave and she's like a new dog! Overall, I would definitely recommend Classy Lassies. The price was actually really good, not much more than a groomer we would have to take her to. I especially appreciated all the questions she asked leading up to the groom and her constant contact with me. I work a ridiculous schedule and Mondays are really my only day to take care of things and they worked with my schedule wonderfully even though I told them from the start that it would be difficult to meet with me.

Tania Antunes: Joani is a very responsive person and handled my little Rocky with care and love. She showed me spots that was knotted so I wouldn't have concerns of the shaved parts since I only wanted a puppy cut. She was On time and always stayed in touch till the appointment date. Her husband was also pleasant and told me Joani has years of experience and loves her fur babies after I asked how many years she's been in business. As a business owner myself, I saw the honesty and care of both owners of Classy Lassie Mobile Pet Spa. PS don't question the eyes, I purchased my Rocky boy because of his little difference not because of something the groomer did! Thank you Joani for your love to my little guy!

Sheryl Warzybuk: So so upset. Our cat was traumatized for days and looks like she has been through the mill. Very unprofessional. Family heard cat screaming (she has been groomed twice a year for years-no problems) my son peeked in to see cat doing backflips and manhandled. He was so upset he offered to hold the cat to try to calm the cat. They cut the cat uneven to say the least pink skin everywhere explains the crying being burned by shaver. Other groomers said inexperienced and Here is a direct quote of many saying the same thing—“seeing this poor cat makes me sad... The groomer had no idea what blade to use, how to prep her or how to trim her up...we know cats can be challenging but you can do one step at the time if she wasn't used to grooming ... But it clearly shows me that they were not experienced with cats” Groomer said it was my 22 yr old sons fault... really how irresponsible? He would not leave as they were arguing passing the cat back and forth the woman hitting the mans hand saying this is how you hold the cat! She kept thanking him for his help. He did not feel comfortable trusting these two at all. My first call owner said they have lawyers if my son got cut. my third call Upset after she was arguing with me I said you are going to need your lawyers! She told me I WAS RUDE (hello we are the victims!!) and not to call back deal with her lawyer. I don’t need a lawyer I just don’t want anyone elses baby to experience this.. Instead of taking responsibility they “Claim” we cut the cat up to ruin their work?? To scam them?? What? Why on earth would we upset our cat further and how can we shave uneven if it was done correctly... there would not be any hair? Instead it is long in parts and pink skin in others. My son is an engineer major (Calculus IV and physics classes) and also a manager at a food chain. Special needs?? Wow just flabergasted at this point. Missing the point the POOR CAT HELLO THAT IS THE POINT!!!!!
Response: Hi, we would like to put our fully fair and just reply to this review. There was never any screaming at all exhibited with this cat, ever! We had arrived and were instantly greeted negatively by this woman's overly anxious husband. Set the stage .The Wife was not home and was actually out working, and did not ever actually observe any part of this session nor care enough to actually be there! So much for that in itself. The son did not "peek in" but had come in abruptly without ever being asked to do so and then remained throughout the entire grooming session, even though we had reassured him that we could definitely handle the grooming! His hands wandered around a great deal. Note: We have already reached out to the family before this review was posted and with this concern as soon as we were contacted and had advised them that we had mentioned that their son was not ever supposed to have been present or handling the cat during the grooming session and been asked a few times to leave; but he would not leave when we asked him. His hands and his eyes never stopped moving around me (if you know what I mean, whoa!) and he was also was trying in vain to hold his family cat from escaping. The man whose hands were "hit" was just advised to move his hands as clippers progressed so as not to get cut. Why would the son ever need to be there? And, where are exactly are the pictures with the "cuts and the pink skin? "ANSWER: - Because: THERE ARE NONE. Note: We do not ever take our reviews lightly, and have gladly offered to fix the " problem ", even though this was clearly not the normal way that we have ever been treated when in someone's home. The son kept offering non-sensible suggestions and showing a blatant lack of respect to us professionally. For no reason whatsoever. Back to square one: We honestly did not ever expect someone to "take over" a grooming session like in this case of the "22 year old"'s interaction during this entire grooming session. NOTE: This cat actually bit the son well over 6 times and obviously was extremely traumatized and was not being held at all correctly., and the son being advised of all this. This is the result! The cat also has obviously been touched up horribly by its owners after the grooming. to make it look like it was "choppy." As far as the "groomers", how many professional groomers have been available to post an opinion and why was not using any of them? Where are these multitude of groomers magically appear less than 24 hours? We have people try to scam us all the time, and we are wise to this. We are actually entering our 25th year in business and 42 + years of experience :) Summary: We should have stopped the session immediately and left, but as the son seemed inevitably to have been a Child of Special Needs and possibly on the Spectrum, and so we did not want to ever hurt his feelings. Children of Special Needs are intellectually brilliant but that does not excuse someone from improper and inappropriate behavior, or insisting on taking over someone's position while doing their job. Notice the Mother mentions he is a manager. Wow. Who cares? We are managers of our own business but have the decency not to interfere with someone else's work and position. People just naturally deserve and expect that! I am a Certified & Licensed Teacher of Special Needs (yes, I am) and so I know these observations to be both true and valid. As a result of this experience, we in the future are not EVER going to allow ANYONE to get involved or present during our professional grooming sessions after this kind of nonsense and a blatant lack of respect, honesty and defamation of our integrity. This comment is now under full litigation. Thank you for reading our side of this story. We appreciate your time and patronage. Read our major 5 star reviews. Maybe I should go to Aldi's in Flemington and start advising their son what to do and butt in there. TOOLS.

Low Budget Motorcycles: Always greeted with a friendly smile when I take my Love there. Very convenient and the price is reasonable. My puppy Love seems to like it and if he's happy... I am happy.

Very clean & nice place. Also very reasonable. Very satisfied.

Jenny Boone: Will not be taking my dog back there again! They were rough with him and he was taken to this place for a bath in flea and tick shampoo and to smell all better. He was not cleaned in the flea and tick plus he still smelled bad. His nail was was cut all out of wack. My son took him for me so when he gets home I call and leave a message. The lady called me back and was very rude and hung up on me. Didn’t try to make any of it right!

They immediately let me know that they had no problem taking her at the last minute because she'd been there before and they already had her records. I was so relieved. Rebecca Szalaj: Riverside and the ENTIRE staff have been awesome to my furbabies over the YEARS! The only place I completely trust and have full confidence in boarding, grooming, bathing, and even pointing out things I add the owner didn't catch. Riverside has always been accommodating to last minute adjustments or accommodations. They have become extended family for caring for everything from my Alaskan Malamute, Sheppard/Lab something mix to now my Pit/Chow mix just as I would. Riverside respects the owners requests and the dog's personality, with their exercise and entertainment be needs, to food and medicine, to trying to give a little quiet time in their older years, you name it. Every dog I have ever seen there is full of spunk and enjoying their vacation (able to be a 'dog' again), as much as you are enjoying your time to be a 'kid" again! I am a forever client (and I say that with a 30 minute commute too).

Laura Reid: Riverside Pet Resort is owned and operated by the sweetest Christian family that you will ever meet. I never have any doubt, when I leave my sweet furry princess there, that they will treat her as if she was part of their own family. The first couple of times our rescue puppy stayed with them, she showed signs of anxiousness and they went out of their way to change up some of their normal procedures to help calm her fears. They are exremely professional and caring and are always willing to answer a text or phone call to give an update on your pet. Our dog loves the employees there so much that she likes to stop just to say "Hello" and even when she isn't being boarded.

Kendall Jones: Wonderful place for boarding! They took great care of our dog and the rates are very reasonable. We don't like being away from our dog but when we have to there is no place better than Riverside.

Christy Hines: My dogs have stayed twice with them and I have been very pleased. We got caught in traffic on I95 and they were willing to work with us by staying a few minutes later for us to be able to pick up our dogs. We will use them again.
