A League Of Her Own: what do users think?

Bobbi DeAnda: This bar is THE BEST. The lights and the colors make you happy right when you walk in and then you go downstairs and there's old school Nintendo!!!!!! Took me back! I had the time of my life! There's also a rooftop deck and a dance floor - they have everything! Really like this spot! Also felt super covid safe - masks required and proof of vaccination to enter.

Dani Ciscell: Its a great place Over all with 3 different vibes in a lot of great specialty drinks. Everyone who works there is super hot. But they need to stop using somebody's phone for the bottom bar. I love that if you forget to close your tab they close it out with 20% gratuity

Hillary Klingshirn: i expected it to feel more like a lesbian bar or even a women’s space but most of the bartenders were men and the place was filled with them. everyone was nice though and i thought the video games were really cool. wish they had more beer options on tap. music on the dance floor was just okay

Dougiefresh20 D: So I have been here a couple of times even when Covid was bad and never got asked to show my vaccination card. So coming all the way from VA to be turned around was questionable but to add insult to injury the lady at the door was rude and not at all welcoming. I’m not saying it was a race issue but the second that me and my girlfriend walked in she looked like she didn’t want us in there and for this to be a lesbian bar this would be the last place I would expect to be judged.

Morgan Eaves: Best place to go out & dance in the area. The music is great & everyone is so welcoming. Definitely my recommendation of where to go in AdMo!

AVATonyT: Apparently they support Ukraine and obviously LGBTQ but NOT BLACK LIVES MATTER.. there is no recognition for black lives mattering.. be careful where you spend your money brothers and sisters

Melissa Limage: Awesome place to have drinks and dance the night away. Bartenders were quick and friendly. First floor was more of a chill vibe with seats all over. Second floor is the dance floor which was completely packed. It was nice to see people of different races and labels together. Definitely will return sooner rather than later.

Jordyn Taylor: I really enjoyed myself here. Good music, people, drinks, etc. My only issue is that the bartender took it upon themselves to leave a tip of $20. I was never given a reciept but didn’t think much of it at the time since it was busy. I don’t know if the bartender thought my memory would be lacking b/c I bought a round for my friends or what. I remembered (b/c I thought the price was crazy for 4 shots). In total I was charged $70 for 4 shots. I reported it to my CC company immediately. With all that said, I’d probably go back. I really liked the vibe. I just won’t purchase anything from the place for obvious reasons.

M: This place was recommended by my “ friend “ as a nice gathering and welcoming place for all , and it is really nice and welcoming for all ( I am a trans), There is a negative “lesbian “ attitude here , the way they act around “men “, and transgenders , one girl she asked me when did I start being a “ gay “ , I looked at her , I’m not a gay , I’m a trans women , you know that “ T “ in LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈,,, show some respect .

Katherine Vogel: Lovely atmosphere. Felt very welcome there. Drinks are a bit expensive and the video game systems don't work too well. Would come back.

Phase One: what do users think?

Scotty ST: Fun night! I got to see a drag king show here and it was fantastic. The staff was great and the performers were fun! The dance floor is great here and the music was primarily main stream. The bar is very friendly to non lesbians. The drinks specials were a $3 pbr and a $6 house special cocktail for Saturday night. Bathrooms were clean and single person ones which was nice.

k hinirchin: I'm hoping this is a good intro to all lesbian bars. It was simple, but relaxed; easy to go to alone or with others. The area around it was a lot nicer than I was expecting for se, very trendy and easy parking.

Ziegfeld's/Secrets: what do users think?

Stephanie Amaya: Went with some friends just to see what it was about. Really had a good time lots of dancers to suit every taste. Had fun and looking to going back again! The drink specials are awesome and the cover is only $10. I would recommend of you want to just go out and have some drinks and a little entertainment.

Zack Smith: What a huge waste! I returned to DC for my first visit in about a decade and remembered this place from way back. Seeking out the new location, I was disappointed in what I found. Rude staff, aggressive and pompous security, and dancers who were mostly straight and ugly. Worse, the dancers are totally standoffish now and you cannot touch. I won't even mention the outrageous prices. Lastly, the place is full of female patrons. I won't ever waste my time or money going there again.

Bryan Van Den Oever: I will give this place a 2 star. Really, it is a 5 star establishment. However, be warned. There are thieves happily waiting to pick your pocket as you dance and have a drink or two. Now, I know it isn't Ziegfeld's fault that this happens there. I acted in my best interests and canceled all the plastic as soon as humanly possible. With all that said, it's still a place where you have to keep constant vigilance. Who wants to do that. There are many safe and fun places to go that do not harbor thieves. Go there. Don't go here. If you do, keep your valuables close, always.

bratty: I have no complaints about the male dancers or the drinks. Those were wonderful and fine. However, the queen I saw at the drag show was an issue. I preface this complaint with this: I've been to many drag shows. I know that banter with the audience is expected, being loud and offensive is expected. However the queen performing was just mean. I was picked out after the first number and they talked to me for a bit. However, with the spotlight still on me they openly called me "chunky." I have an eating disorder. I am not even one year fully out of treatment. She called me chunky and the entire audience laughed, they moved on to the next person while I sat there stunned. It ruined my entire night, not because I'm sensitive or thin skinned but because I have a disorder in my head 24/7 telling me that I'm fat and because of it I'm worthless, disgusting, etc. and this only confirmed it in front of a room full of people who confirmed it by laughing along. The result of my experience has been devastating on my mood. I have not been able to eat without crying. Needless to say I won't be coming back.

Tab Man: My friends and I were really looking forward to going here for Pride, especially to see the beautiful, nude dancers that everyone talks about. However, after learning about the awful things DJ Steve Henderson has said online, we won't be going. The misogyny and racism jumped all the way out. Then he claimed he was hacked? Sure, Jan. Maybe next year.

Manuel Colón: Easily one of the most strangely located spots in the District. But, totally worthwhile to check out. Nude male dancers on the top floor and drag performances on the main level. Usually a $5-$10 cover, with an ATM nearby.

nine nautonnier: The "Manager" mistook a friend of mine and outright THREATENED him on the evening of Friday February 8th. I asked the Dancer, Bartender, and other employees about the accusation and NO ONE witnessed any incident or understood why my friend was threatened. The dancer claimed NOTHING happened. Therefore, an employee of Ziegfeld's/Secrets "acting within the scope of employment caused harm or loss" to a customer. We will be seeking action against the establishment for it's violations. Fortunately, we were a small group. If you plan to attend this place alone, you will NOT feel safe, you will NOT feel comfortable, and with such subpar employees and neighborhood your life may be in danger. There are far better places and things to do in DC than waste your time and money at this dumpster.

Miss I: A very large boy, possibly a girl but dressed as a boy and herm sidekick, both dressed like the original Black Panthers, not Wakanda....bumped into me and spilled my drink and didn’t even apologize. If you’re under 5’9 be careful because there are so many HUGE men parading as women that they’ve forgotten they’re not light as a feather as they endlessly clunk around the establishment. Also, need to hire better dancers with more enthusiasm about their chosen profession.

Matt: Fun place for some nice eye candy. Dancer's were always very nice and bartender was nice and fast. Drink are not too expensive for a stip club. Always had fun talking to the dancers there.

Katelyn Murphy: I love watching the drag show and seeing the male strippers upstairs. Lol I already have two favorite dancers, Tip and Fransico. They are so passionate with their dancing. The drag shows downstairs are always entertaining and I always stay for both shows while visiting the dancers upstairs between the shows. The only thing I don't like is the fact that I have to have a male friend come in with me.
