Karen Nesmith: The first time I came here it was a good experience. This time it was not!!!!! My appointment was at 3:30, I arrived and signed in at 3:15. I was not called back to see the dentist until 4:35 If you come here be prepared to WAIT and spend no less than 2.5 hours.

damika middleton: I been Going to this place for years. To come to find out today I come for a cleaning and they tell me they no longer take my insurance. So If they would of told me that prior to making the appointment I wouldn’t even had Came. Bad customer service!

Melissa Chenok: Hands down best dentist I’ve been to. I got new insurance and was going to switch dentists and after calling a few places decided no other dentist was even as close to as good as district dental. Incredibly kind staff, very clean, when my retainers broke they made new ones at no cost, I get anxious at the dentist and they talk me through and show photos of everything they are doing. I don’t write reviews but feel really strongly about district dental center!

DC Dental Spa: what do users think?
Cindy McFarland: I was traveling to DC for work and part of a tooth broke off. DC Dental Spa was able to get me in same day. They were so nice and accommodating. Dr. Hoang laid out all of the options for me and made a recommendation. Then they explained what my insurance covered and what I would owe before they did the work, which I appreciated. I walked away with my tooth fixed until I could get home and have my dentist put on a crown. Great experience!
Daniel Tellez: Never had such an unprofessional experience at any doctor, dentist, optometrist, etc. I came in for a root canal and ended up getting the tooth cleaned out on the first visit, set up a payment plan that day with an $800 deposit, and penciled in my second visit to finish the root canal. Dr. Huang was not personable at all but he did the job fine - which is all I expect. On my second visit, Dori explained that there had been an error and they actually couldn’t do payment plans, even though we had set one up already signed and everything. Their prices are higher than other dentists in the area, and I could not afford the entire work and went home. Not a few days later, the area became reinfected and I ended up needing an additional cleaning that cost me over $500+ extra. I ended up paying for the entire thing - which again I really couldn’t afford and I explained that to them - just so my tooth could be saved and I could avoid the ongoing, excruciating pain. I would have fought them, as they were clearly in the wrong, but my pain was unbearable and I just needed the tooth fixed. If you are rich but don’t care about getting your money’s worth, then I guess this place might be for you. But for anyone else, go somewhere else where they will treat you like a human or at least justify their prices. I still have the payment plan documents in case they want to deny this.
Lot By: I have been coming here with my sons since I have been in DC for over 5 years. The staff is great. The service is excellent. My questions are always answered about my growing sons teeth and exams are provided each time I request. I thank DC Dental Spa for taking care of myself and my family. KT: I found DC Dental Spa when I was looking for a place to have emergency dental work done. I was have a horrible, throbbing toothache for a few days and ended up needing to have a root canal repaired, which was also done here. The dental work was pretty painless (I do have high dental anxiety) and the receptionists and dental hygeniests were very instrumental in creating a comfortable experience. They were kind and informative.
Ash Pouvaranukoah: I was impressed with this dental office. The office and location itself is clean. The staff members are intelligent, kind, and patient. Each process was explained thoroughly by the technicians and dentist. The technology here is advanced and painless (yay!). The dentist made me feel comfortable as he worked on my teeth. Highly recommended and reasonably priced!

I came in on several occasions and not only is his work exceptional, he was patient with answering my many questions and put me at ease! It’s not every day you actually enjoy going to the dentist but if you must go, I highly recommend this practice!

Marie-Flore JOHNSON: I cannot recommend this dental office enough. It is wonderful! Excellent dentists. Caring and experienced staff. Very gentle. They care about your teeth and are honest. No trying to rip you off. They also do everything to make sure you do not feel pain. One of the staff, Trina, worked way after hours one time when I needed some dental business paperwork. She could have waited to provide it to me later on, but wanted to make sure that I had it. They are all like Trina. Very professional, oriented towards service and excellence.
Maura O'Sullivan: Close to five years ago I had a really bad toothache for few days. I went to few dentists and no one could tell me what was wrong. Finally I called WCD and made an appointment and to find out it was a root canal. Dr. Katsaros took care of it. I was so relieved and happy. Everyone at WCD are professional and helpful. I especially love Rachel who is my new hygienist. She is outstanding. She gives me a thorough cleaning. Very gentle. Answers all my questions. The absolute best!!!
Wanda Wheeler: I have been going to WCD for a few years now and I always receive exceptional service and care. Dr. Fordjour is an excellent dentist and all of the hygienists and front desk staff are consistently professional and proactive. In particular, Katrina (front desk) went above and beyond to handle an insurance billing concern I had a few months back. While I wish that my insurance could be billed directly, WCD is prompt with sending out invoices so that insurance reimbursement is quick and painless.

We just moved from California and all needed a new dental practice to serve the needs of our ten-year old, myself and my husband, as well as my mother in law. We couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Between the four of us, we’ve been to Dr. Hines 9 times in under four months to take care of all sorts of dental needs. I have experienced anxiety around dental visits for years, but Dr. Hines’ approach makes me so relaxed I nearly fall asleep!

Myra Landas: I am a loyal patient at DuPont Dental for many years. They have the best customer service. The staff are cheerful and friendly and the office is conveniently located from my work. I never felt pressured to get unnecessary things done and they provide high quality and impeccable service. I highly recommend this gem of a place. You will not be disappointed.
Matt Devino: This is a lovely office, and Dr. Seiden is a great dentist. However, the billing and insurance practices that this office uses are simply unacceptable and the reason for my low rating. After two standard cleanings and one round of routine x-rays, I received a bill for over $400! Mind you, I had dental insurance at the time of both visits. Unfortunately, this office has decided that they are out of network with every dental plan, and they balance bill patients for any amount not covered by their dental insurance. This is a predatory and frankly unethical practice, and this provider should be held accountable. After numerous calls and emails with the practice, they ultimately dropped my amount due to $240. I will be finding a new dentist.

Doc gets you nice and numb and then gets to work on your teeth so you can get back to work or your daily routine in a timely fashion. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Customer service goes a long way in my book and is often hard to find these days. So whether you need an emergency root canal or routine cleaning give Dupont Dental a call and they’ll take good care of you.
S. Max Brewster: Every time I come, the dental technician remembers some part of my background, which makes you feel comfortable. Never a wait, in and out within 30 minutes. If you’re fed govt, choose Aetna dental and you’ll pay nothing for a cleaning and X-rays every 6 months. Office staff handled insurance and I don’t have to do a thing. Making appointments is super easy with their email and text reminders. Been a patient for about 3 years, would highly recommend!

Valerie Osula: My experience at Eye Street Dental was impressive! From the receptionists up front to the assistants and dentists; everyone was so welcoming and professional! Going to the Dentist is not always the most pleasant experience at least for me, but everyone at Eye Street Dental really made me feel at ease. During my visit I had a cleaning, a couple fillings and started the Invisalign process. They made sure to explain everything that was happening before it happened. They were quick, efficient and managed to make a sometimes painful process painless. Great service all around, will definitely be referring my friends and family here!
Kay Owosela: This is the best dental office in DC. Has a family feel to it. The customer service by the receptionists is first class. The team of dentists work together and are very warm and friendly. I went in for teeth extractions and contrary to what I have heard about dental visits, I came out with a very positive experience. The dentist checked on me very regularly to make sure I was doing okay. That kind of personal care is not common especially in the city. I highly recommend this dental office.
Alpha Green: Been a patient for over a year. So far the dentists have been ok. The front desk employee is dreadful. Her understanding of speaking English makes any conversation extremely difficult. Exchanging patient name is always difficult. So you can imagine the attempted conversation of sharing several other patient related pieces of information. Its always a hassle and completly unnecessary. Not a great business move to have her as your main communication piece.
Indya V: Warm and Welcoming Staff. Positive environment. Dr. Margerita (apologies if I mispelled) did a wonderful job. Very thorough, friendly, skilled, conservative, & knowledgeable. My husband and I are pleased with the services and care rendered for our cleanings and restorative work.
Randall Casseday: Absolutely painless, complete, restorative, and beautiful work performed by Dr. Salim. Incredible skills. He repaired a broken tooth and I cannot tell which tooth was repaired. He replaced a crown with a white gold crown that fit exactly and is an excellent piece of art. Cleaning and x-rays do not miss any teeth or telltale places in the mouth. The office and dental work areas are clean and hygienic. I would call Dr. Salim the Wizard of Dentistry. I highly recommend this dental office.

Brent Troy David: It is not often you can have a great experience at a dentist office, but I am here to tell you if it’s going to happen, it will happen at District Dental Solutions. Drs. Arroyo & Arroyo (along with their amazing staff), are exceptionally caring and compassionate! They are non-judgmental and have definitely gone out their way to help me with my extensive dental issues, most especially caused by months of chemotherapy to overcome Stage 4 Lymphoma, which almost killed me. After years of not being able to afford proper care, they are doing everything possible for me to address my dental woes. I am truly grateful for their amazing service, compassion, professionalism, and integrity.

Yelena Skalinskaya: Dr. Jeremy - what an amazing dentist … I transferred here from another practice and have been very happy with my choice! I came in with butchered veneers which Dr. Jeremy fixed up as much as he could, but they were still meh… I kept nagging and nagging about new veneers, but Dr. Jeremy wouldn’t budge - we had to move my teeth first or it wouldn’t look the way I wanted, which we did (thanks Invisalign). I did have major PTSD from my first experience with veneers, but the temp veneers looked so great - I was willing to do whatever. I didn’t stop torturing Dr. Jeremy though, one of the veneers didn’t fit quite right and we had to redo it - but that was quick and easy (for me at least 😅). Also, full disclosure, I take naps at my cleaning sessions - so relaxing! The hygienist literally has to hook my cheek and move my head as I doze off 😂 There’s a parking garage right next to the building - get in before 8:30am and you get a discounted rate 🙌 Finally, they’re in the process of designing a whole new office - I’m sure the space will be hot - can’t wait to see it!

Jamison Moore: Great practice, lovely people, and easy to work with. No run around with billing, no surprises, and everyone is smart and nice. I have no dental drama, but my wife, who absolutely hates all things dental loves this practice. There is a parking lot under the office, was $17 for over an hour, so pretty normal for the neighborhood.

Suzanne Landau: I feel incredibly fortunate that I found Dr. Babtiste. I have not seen a dentist in a very long time and I knew I needed a lot of work. I suffer from anxiety in general so it was all I could do to make the appointment. Dr. Baptiste immediately put me at ease. She could not have been kinder. She conducted a thorough exam, addressed all of my concerns and made a plan going forward to repair my teeth. I have a lot of work ahead of me but I have complete confidence in Dr. Babtiste. She is an excellent dentist in every regard and her staff is as pleasant and competent as she is.
Kristen Goff: I had a terribly abscessed tooth and not only did Dr. Baptiste relieve my pain and care for the tooth, she did so on her day off. The staff here are welcoming and appear to be one big family. I hate going to the dentist as much as the next person but when I have to go she is the best choice in my opinion.
gennesis sanchez: Visited the office for the first time today. I am normally so nervous at the dentist, but not today! Dr. Baptiste and all of her staff are incredibly attentive and sweet. I felt cared for and ready to deal with my teeth without feeling guilty or shamed. Highly recommend and I am excited to continue my care here!
Kendall Turner: I have been a long-time patient of Dr. Baptiste, ever since I was a young girl. Dr. Baptiste has always made my comfort and health a priority. Every member of her team is kind and welcoming. Most recently, I tried out the laser filling. It was incredible! It only took a few minutes to complete and I was able to eat immediately after. No numbing or pain. I would get another one tomorrow if I needed it!

They’ve always answered every single one of my questions and have provided useful guidance on dental care. I appreciate the time and attention to detail that they devote toward making teeth as healthy as possible.

Dr. Brown and the entire staff at Presidental Dental Group went above and beyond to schedule two visits within hours of calling and even pulled strings to get me in to see a specialist first thing in the morning. I was talked through every step of the process and everyone I spoke with was thoughtful and caring. They also worked with me to ensure that my insurance covered as much of the cost possible. Highly recommend!

General Price: Dr Sharmin is a good dentist. The same cannot be said about staff at the front desk. When you inquire to them, they will bang the phone on you. They even say you do not have to come as they will be getting paid. They are very rude. They speak rudely to you. The worst front desk you will go. Sharmin needs to change the staff that he has. I know a lot that have went to other services.

vizualle: The good: professional, polite, do good dentistry work, available on weekends, Dr. Sharmin, educated, trustworthy, deals with insurance for you. This practice is a little like old school mom&pop shops. Yes you will see mainly blue collar people from all walks of life, this is not a fancy office downtown with relaxing music where people in suits come in. And yes, for the same reason the procedure are typically faster, no fluff and hygienist takes 45 minutes to clean your teeth. But it doesn’t mean the work is not good. I’ve been coming to Sharmin Dental for over 8 years now and I’m very happy with their service. Being a neighborhood clinic it’s very convenient for me to go on weekends. Dr Sharmin has an amazing personality and great advice and consultation. The team he has brought in is experienced and good and keeps growing his reputation. They recently introduced an endodontist to perform surgeries like root canal and removing teeth. I trust this clinic. Again, don’t look for all the fancy stuff here, but the quality of work is as good.
LeeAnn King: The best and most educational dentist experience in my life was with Dr. Sharmin and his staff. He provided me with very interesting knowledge about dental care and how it corresponds with my overall health and worked with me to determine the best care for me and my teeth and gums. He and his staff provided friendly, funny and fast service. I learned a lot about customer care and dental care. Thank you, Dr. Sharmin and staff.
Andres Mendoza: I went there because I had an issue with a tooth that I needed to have removed. called in to setup appointment, the surgeon had specific days when he came in so we setup a time for when that particular dentist was in. I came to appointment and they handled me well and the dentist who removed the tooth did it very quickly and it was painless. I was basically out before I knew it and no pain from the aching tooth or pain from the tooth extraction.

Ronald Branch: This not a good dentist don’t go there. They take to long to finish the work. My wife had to keep calling them and they still haven’t return the call back. They will say differently, what ever they say is not true their service sucks. Also they make appointments and you waiting for hours to be seen.
T H: This was the worse dentist visit of my life. I scheduled two weeks in advance due to my busy work week. I came in on a Saturday on time and was not seen until two hrs later. Multiple people kept going in and out of the bathroom in the small waiting room where we had to sit making me feel very unclean and uncomfortable. The back room was over packed with patients. After getting my X-rays done from a very nice informative lady. I was placed back into the waiting room for about another 15mins. Then I finally thought I was going to be seen when my name was called yet I went and sat down just to hear the dentist say couldn’t do all the work required on my mouth that day and also that they didn’t get the insurance approval and it would take another hour or so. He poked my half cracked tooth extremely hard to where I had to jump and tell him don’t do that again. I was very upset and a week later I’m still feeling the worse pain of my life. It’s like after he did that the pain Tripled In pain effect. My guys were swollen and extremely red. Him and another lady doctor was going over what pain medication they would or wouldn’t give me directly in my face. He was very aggressive and made me feel rushed and uncomfortable. Trusting my guy I decided to leave. More patients were complaining because they tow were waiting over at least a hour after their scheduled timing. It was pouring down raining when I left and I had to find parking to even get there so I basically wasted money and time. The manager tried to apologize and get me to wait I decided to go home and find another dentist. Upon going to another dentist I was told that the horrible place I went to for my first appointment claimed that they did a lot of work on my teeth and the new appointment person told me that she’d had to clear up the facts before I can be seen. I called my insurance and informed them that they had provided false information in the system and was blocking my appointment to be seen. Then all of a sudden I found out the two dentist offices were affiliated and that the district manager told them to not let me be seen because I was rude when that was a lie I told them how unprofessional they were for having my hopes high and not be able to do nothing for me even after a two hr wait period. She was upset because I called the insurance company and reported it. It’s crazy how the new office still seen my som for his appointment that day but denied me. I feel like they visited my health rights and treated me extremely poorly. I’m currently still trying to find a dentist for my solution. I would recommend never even giving them a chance. Honesty and communication is key. And they way you treat someone says a lot about your intentions.
Kevin Gordon: These group of PROFESSIONALS are also human not ones who are in their profession just to receive a pay check, I was afraid from day one yet they gave me something when I left them on the very first visit, that was an appreciation for what they have done for me, they all have restored my faith in a dentist office in which I had no faith for over 35 years, please take the opportunity to see them first hand because Dr. Caldwell and his staff are the BEST that I have been to see and to have work done on my mouth, yet my spiritual realm called for a renewed relationship with this center, I will forever recommend these guys for the rest of my life, guys take a bow because this all belongs to you all, thank you so much for restoring my faith once again in the dentistry field....hip hip HOORAY👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏽😇😊❤
Danilo B: This is literally the worse unprofessional dental experience I’ve ever had and I’m From a third world country. I switched insurance because of my new job so had to switched my dentist but I should’ve read the reviews before coming to this “Dentist” office. I went for my anual checkout and cleaning. They took X-rays and put me on a chair without saying a word or going over my X-rays etc. The “ cleaning” let me just say that I do a better job brushing my own teeth. The Dental hygiene literally threw some cold water with some solution with some machine that didn’t even brush/clean and only took Literally 5 minutes. What a waste of my time and money. Please STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
Chiara: Agree with the previous poster: “do not come here if you love yourself” 😆😅😳 no but seriously. I waited over an hour and a half past my appointment time and then the cleaning was not thorough at all, just used a drill on the outside was over in like 2 minutes. Both uncomfortable and scary while also just not leaving my teeth clean at all. Also, they did the x rays wrong and my new dentist said they couldn’t interpret them due to the levels of contrast they used. Smile dental also said I had a cavity and scheduled an appointment to get it filled, but I got a second opinion from a different dentist saying there wasn’t at all and that I had good oral hygiene. Not to mention that I originally scheduled my appointment here thinking it was the smile dental on 18th st which has much better reviews….then after I had a horrible experience I realized I had went to the wrong smile dental!! DONT COME HERE!
Jordan S: The dental technician was incredibly unfriendly. The dentist cleaned my teeth in less than five minutes, didn’t floss, didn’t check my gums for depth. They are basically running a mill there. Get people in and out as quickly as possible without actually taking care of patients. Will absolutely never go back. It’s a shame I wasted my six month cleaning there. I’ve never been to a worse dental office. The place is also very run down and dirty.

Y Walden: Excellent experiences here! The doctors that I’ve seen are all very knowledgeable and the staff is very friendly. I never feel that I’m being pressured for a service or to have a procedure done. They’re considerate of your time. I’m usually seen right at my appointment time. The atmosphere is very nice here as well. I needed to find another dentist since my previous dentist retired. I’m glad I found Elite Dental at Takoma Park.
Amity Pope: As an individual that suffers from an anxiety disorder, I literally fell asleep during my cleaning today. I describe this cleaning as therapeutic in nature by Dr. Felder. Her ability to provide a space of ease and comfort for me, priceless. I even asked if I could purchase a sweatshirt because I felt finally home! I can’t wait to go back, no kidding!
Dimitry Vesensky: Everybody knows how hard it is to switch from your old trusty dentist, but I think I found my new dental office! Everything from the front desk (very efficient and nice) to doctor was great. Attentive, to the point, no BS. Hygienist (Bijou )was amazing - very light hands, made whole experience relaxing. Office has just enough tech to make things easier but not so much that it becomes annoying. Super clean, and as safe as it can possibly be under current situation. Highly recommend. 👍
