CYCLEBAR: what do users think?

natasha mazikins: i just had to come on here & say how amazing my first ride was at cycle bar in NoMa. lindsey was an incredibly warm and welcoming instructor who made it such a fun and challenging workout. the whole staff made me feel so welcome and eased all of the anxiety i had around taking my first ever cycling class. they even wrote a sweet little note on my locker… just so cute and so nice. looking forward to taking many more classes with lindsey, she’s a badass.

Laura Devinsky: I've taken cycling classes at a number of places in the city and this was just ok. The music and instructor didn't really feel engaging the way other classes do. Personally I also don't like the speed/etc screen you have on the bike - I come to class to get away from screens not have another one in front of me.
Response: Hi Laura, thank you very much for your review, it sounds like you would really love one of our Connect classes where we don’t use the monitors or statistics and it’s more about connecting and engaging. We hope you’ll give us another try, email us at noma@cyclebar.com for another class!

Ian Lever: Had a really positive experience here. Jacie and Lindsay were very welcoming to new riders and experienced riders alike. I also liked how they kept it cold in the workout room too.

D Fiero: This place is awesome - the music, the lights, the pep talks, the drive, the workout, the community. These instructors are BOMB. Instructors each have their strengths and I enjoy working out with all of them - which is part of the problem. When I can't make a class or need a rest day, I have mad fomo. I think I'm addicted. Honestly, the only complaint I have is with the patrons.. they could be a little more amped. Thank you Cyclebar NOMA!

Denise Morris: So good I bout a membership after my first ride! Staff are super encouraging and helpful
Response: Thank you Denise! We love having you in the studio, and especially when you’re crushing our June challenge! See you on a bike soon. -Nathan at CycleBar NoMa

Salma Khalid: Just walked out of the class. Literally every bike in the room is taken. It’s like they haven’t even considered any capacity restrictions in light of runaway covid transmission

Jimmy D: I took the class and it was ok. I did inform the staff of my hearing damage and the loud music. The staff said to me "That's how it is and here are earplugs." They WOULD NOT LOWER THE VOLUME. And the instructor was yelling louder over the music. There is a law called the American Disability Act (ADA) and this location failed to accommodate me by lowering the volume. The volume levels, if recorded, are well over the maximum decibel readings (120db) that the human ear can tolerate, for less than 90 seconds without significant damage. If you wish me to join CycleBar, accommodations must be made according to the ADA.

Garrett Gots: Never done a Cycle class before. Got a bike in the back row, watched what was going on and got a great work out. Now i try and go twice a week. Great instructors, great environment. Very happy with my membership. love the location.

Ally Bailey: I spin regularly and had the opportunity to take a complimentary class. I was one of the first attendees there since I knew I’d need to sign a waiver, etc. Getting my stuff put away was as simple as expected. When I got into the studio there were ladies resetting bikes and asked me to step out. I would recomend keeping the doors closed or eplaining to guests that they should wait to be called into the studio to avoid awkward interactions like that one. When we were eventually let in I found my bike, set it as I usually do, and needed help clipping in (these bikes are different than any others I’ve ever clipped into). I asked for help and the person who helped me told me I needed to change my settings so I don’t hurt myself, I tried to let her know I usually use these settings and she went into a safety conversation as if this was my first spin class ever. She lowered my seat, I told her I was uncomfortable but she said it was better this way. I stretched and spun a bit until the class instructor came over when I raised my hand to ID myself as a new rider to her class. She told me my seat was too low and I needed to come up. She raised me back to where I normally sit (which was a bit frustrating in that I knew I should have been at that setting origijnaly). It was a great class (shout out Lexi!)........ I’d recommend employee talking to class takers instead of talking at them. If the original person that “helped” me just took a moment to listen to me, she would have known that although this was my first class at this studio, I spin 6 days a week and know how to set my bike comfortably for me. I may go back, I may not.... the experience all in all didn’t seem like the most welcoming outside of the instructor.

katarina korec: You should try this at least once a week! It's loads of fun, Lexi is a great instructor and she will walk you through every step. You do not need to be a pro to take this class and can go at your own pace.

CYCLED!: what do users think?

Kim: CYCLED! ,an indoor class business adjacent to the Starbucks, routinely has blocked Starbucks parking with cones: bikes-whether it's right in front of the store or on the side where customers like me were supposed to park. It's quite an inconvenience because causes near accidents and mini "traffic jams " due to dedicated patronizing customers (like me this morning wanting to get a coffee/tea and or a bite to eat. Why is this allowed to happen? #CYCLED!HOGSSTARBUCKSPARKING
Response: Kim, Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts and provide beautiful photos of our outdoor classes! We are proud that, despite the significant and ongoing impacts of COVID on our very small business, we have been able to continue providing classes to support the health and overall wellbeing of the Takoma Park community. Your pictures show 1 of 2 parking lots available for each of the 4 business tenants, including CYCLED! and Starbucks, and there is street parking available as well. Although we have never had the opportunity to serve you as a customer of CYCLED!, we understand that this is extremely important to you and would be happy to discuss further. Feel free to email or call the studio as your schedule permits.

Always Progressing: I took an outdoor class last week and I loved it. The bikes were safely distanced, the instructor was high energy, the music was a high-energy mix of hip hop and club music, the ride was easy to follow, and the instructor was great at pushing us and making us want o do more than we thought we wanted to. If you haven't been yet, hurry up and sign up

Sheila Lo Monaco: Cycled it’s without a doubt, one of the best cycling studios I have been. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The studio is clean and they offer towels. The bikes are new. The front desk greeting you by your name. The classes are excited and easy to book. The instructors are energetic and really makes you have awesome work out no matter the time of the day. I have classes with different instructors they are everything you expect and more. They offer rooftop ridings on spring/summer on their Silver Spring location and Barre classes. The Takoma location offers parking and tons of street parking.
Response: Thank you, Sheila!!! See you soon :-)

Tomehka Ettinoffe: Cycled is just an all around amazing place! I thoroughly enjoy my workouts (who would've thought enjoying workouts is a thing) and I look forward to sweating with the staff and my fellow riders every week. I've been attending classes 3-6 times a week for 10 months now and have yet to have a bad experience. Every instructor, every class, every single time I go I have a great time. Because of Cycled I am healthier (down 3 sizes!!) and happier. I am so thankful I found this place and am even more thankful that they continue to push me to reach my fitness goals. Cycled also offers yoga, rooftop classes, "after dark" Friday evening classes, barre and other fun experiences. I highly suggest trying all of them!

Lisa A. LeVert: I'm not a huge fan of group exercise, but figured that I would give Cycled! a try. After my first class, though, I was hooked! If you're looking for a place where you're not worried about being judged and just want to have fun while you exercise, this is the place! The instructors are incredibly friendly and the people who attend the classes are as well!

Eric Reinke: I am a “traveling spinner” through my constant business travels. I have been to dozens of clubs all over the country, some good, some not so much. This is a really good one for several reasons: 1) Keiser Bikes, the best, smoothest spin bikes with the best metrics; 2) the instructors use the metrics to lead you, giving you gear ranges and rpm targets; sounds like common sense but you’d be surprised; 3) a water cooler and workout towels; not all clubs offer even one of these; 4) Adrienne, one of the great “Spincess’ “ I have encountered. Looking forward to my next visit to DC; having lived here, I haven’t always been able to say that!

Antonio HaileSelassie: I hate taking fitness classes... I prefer sports. But, a took a class with Mel, and she's absolutely amazing! She lively and fun... And really gets the students involved! And she will kick your butt! I was really tired! The music was lively and fun! It's almost like a night club feel... While biking... It's great! Place is clean and everyone is friendly.

Kim Kmi: Cycled is a fantastic studio. The owner, Shayla, makes everyone feel welcome no matter your skill level. The teachers are all friendly and professional, but not afraid to push you. I highly recommend Cycled.

Jamie Stephenson: I've been going for a few weeks now and I love it. The instructors are all wonderful and they definitely make sure you have a strong workout.

Kara Terrell: Cycled! is most definitely my [local] happy place.

Wired Cycling Fitness Studio: what do users think?

Pavel Klinov: I really recommend this studio. It's different from the most cycling studios in the DC area which mostly want you to enjoy the music, their atmosphere, "follow the beat", and generally have a great time. You can have that at Wired too, but there you also have a chance for a proper "pain cave" kind of workout, a suffer fest. It was what I was looking for and it delivered. Big screens showing all people's riding data (power, speed, etc.) add a touch of competitiveness and I love that.
Response: We love having Pavel at Wired because his kindness, ability to manage discomfort, and understanding of training principles fits in perfectly with the Wired culture.

Regine: Great cycle gym LOVE this studio. Free parking. Unlike other cycle studios in DC, this one is a bit more intimate, there's a personal touch here. The owner (Leti) is very friendly and her HIP HOP/R&B Endurance Cycle on Thursday is awesome. Giving it 4 star because of the schedule. Would love to see weekend 7am, lunch and Sunday evening class options.
Response: Well, we love you too! We have added cycling classes that meet your criteria: 7:30 AM cycle class on Saturdays; Tues and Thursdays @ 11:30 AM. We want to make sure we can help you meet your goals!

liz clapsis: Leti was great for my cycling class. She is friendly and motivating early in the morning! The classes are great. I've done the HIIT class too. It seems most classes are 45 minutes so your in and out. Highly recommend if you want a neighborhood feel with knowledgeable instructors and a great workout!
Response: Liz, wow thank you for the kinds words! We look forward to helping you meet your fitness and health goals!

Roberta S White: Wired cycling classes provide riders with knowledgeable, fun, creative, and personable instructors. The class is like a community; family of sort: participants are welcoming, warm, and very encouraging. I wish they offered more classes: later times during the some week days/weekends. You should try it!

Erin B: Affordable, great bikes, upbeat music, and super knowledgeable instructors.

S J Stevens: Inexpensive, great instructors, friendly and good playlist

Master Gardener: A different type of workout spot that's carving its niche in the neighborhood.

david davidson: Best spin class I have been to.
Response: Thank you so much!!! We really appreciate your support! Hope to see you soon.

SoulCycle MTVN: what do users think?

Mike: Music is way too loud to the point where the instructor needs to scream for you to hear. Made the class unenjoyable. Had to leave the class to get earplugs. Not sure if people realize they’re doing permanent damage to their ears at classes like the one I was at tonight. I’d suggest to soul cycle management that they tone down the volume 10-15%. It’d make it more enjoyable for everyone.

Devon Ott-Barilli: Anthony Jr is an absolute gem and the only way I want to be woken up from now on. His 6am is incredible!!! 💛🚲

Amy Rowland: Awesome studio with amazing front desk staff and instructors. Very glad I found them and gave it a try!

Andrew Osborn: Crowded, hot & loud uncomfortable spin bikes. If you're a party girl, club boy and dancing on a bike in a sweat shop with your ears bleeding & paying a heavy cover charge at the door is your thing, then this is your spot!

Alice Li: Parking is a bit of a hassle unless you want to pay for the garage around the corner. But the workout is totally worth the hassle. It’s like a dance party on a bike. I happily pay that cover charge every time!

Kaitlyn Kirby: I love this convenient location close to my office and the instructors are amazing

Megan Wilcox: Great, judgement free cycling classes. My mom and I were on vacation and booked a cycling class to help make up for all of the amazing food we were eating. The instructors and staff were very nice and welcoming. They helped us set up our bikes and get off our bikes. The music is a little loud, but helps get you pumped up!

Jeena Rubio: I attended my first SoulCycle class with Cher. SHE WAS AMAZING! Loads of energy, kept it fun, great song flow. She kept up with the pace of the group. Pumping it up when needed and slowing it down when needed. The facility itself is very well kept, especially for all the furniture being white. The staff is very friendly & helpful. Not to mention my class was going to expire soon I gave them a call and they gladly extended it for me. Needless to say I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK. LOVED IT.

Lauren Dew: If you've never taken a class with Cher, what are you doing with your life!? She is the absolute BEST!

Liz Thomas: Love this place! A little pricey for a spin class but it's truly an experience you can't get anywhere but soulcycle. It's worth the splurge!

SoulCycle Georgetown: what do users think?

Wingel Caburian: As someone who is VERY out of shape and intimidated by working out, Soul Cycle at Georgetown is very welcoming! My first class was the One Direction vs. 5SOS and I left feeling AMAZING! Thank you so much @ Soul Cycle Georgetown and I can’t wait for my next class!

Alex Smith: It was an incredible facility and one of the best cycling classes I have ever been to - Alli was a great instructor! Only reason this isn't five stars is because of some of the staff behavior. Glad to hear one of the people had a great experience with Jordan, but mine was opposite. When I went last week he was not welcoming at all and seemed kind of annoyed when I asked him to help me set up my bike since it was one of my first few times. Just wasn't friendly and was honestly kind of rude to me. The other staff members I interacted with while I was there were much nicer on the other hand.

Ayisha Benavides: It was my First time coming here. The staff was phenomenal!!! They were the absolute sweetest. I felt so at home and I didn’t feel out of place like I did at my old cycling place. I can’t wait to go back!!

Johnnie Anderson: Wow! One of the best soul cycles I’ve been to! Down to the assistants! I was Helped by Jordan who educated me on how to ride the bike to the best comfort based on my height and arm length! He made a great first impression for Georgetown soul cycle. Thank you again Jordan and the rest of the staff!

Kim Todd: Great workout, very upbeat staff. But three stars because it was WAY TOO LOUD! I couldn't hear anything the instructor was yelling at us - it was all just noise on top of noise. I went with my niece who has been to Soulcycle in other cities and she agreed this class was way too loud. Three hours later my ears are still ringing.

Amanda Anoh: It my first time, the place is packed on the weekends, and by reservation only, mainly. The staff is courteous but a pair of socks is $14.99! Not even packaged lol... i had a great time though.

Sonia Ott: The instructors and the whole front desk is very friendly, helpful and amazing! So inspired thanks to Duncan he's truly a genuine employee who makes everyone feel they can do it!!!!

Byron Ramsey: I road with Chris Pepe and let me tell you his music was EVERYTHING! Then he scared me with this little yell he does, but all in all hes a great instructor. You go Glenn Coco!

Pamela S.: Not for the beginner! Intense and worth every minute. Best workout I've had in a while.

Jinlei Lin: The staff is super friendly and helpful. The class is upbeat and fun.

SoulCycle West End: what do users think?

Brenna McGreevy: This studio is made even better by starting my day on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Jordan at 6am. Her classes have great energy and motivation to feel like you can take on all that you need to for the remainder of the day. Love her style of spin with the addition of bomb music choices that fit perfectly with the mood. Try it out soon and you’ll be hooked!

Caroline Fernandez: I checked out SoulCycle with a friend recently. We attended a 5:30 class that had some open seats. Since it was our first spin, it was free (including shoes). This spin class requires clip in shoes, but if you don't have your own, you can rent them for a fee. Water is also available for a fee. Anyway, you pick your bike before you enter the room, which is nice. The room is dimly lit with a stage and a large mirror behind the instructor; however, once the class gets going, don't expect to see yourself because it gets SO hot that the glass fogs. I took my class with Megan and she was WONDERFUL. She had such great energy. Staff is very helpful if it's your first time. They are quick to set up your bike and a towel is waiting for you as soon as you sit down. Also, if you don't know how to clip in/out, staff is ready and available to help. I LOVED my class at SoulCycle, but for $30 a class, I can only give it 4 stars.

Binyam Reja: I am in Washington for an extended business trip and have being going to SoulCycle West End location almost every day. What a fantastic experience I am having. I am full of energy and feel great every day even during stressful business meetings. I have discovered a new way to stay in shape while visiting D.C. Ditch your hotel gym and head to one of the SoulCycle locations. You will not regret it.

germaine andino: This workout kicked my butt despite having worked out three plus times a week. It was a little disorienting and hot, and you're expected to know all the terms which are not gone over before hand. I didn't know what a Tap back was, now I do and I hate them. I have several friends that love this place but it's just not for me. Try it out though it's worth the initial free class if you can.

Katie Keegin: I found this experience really awful. The locker room is packed. The cycling studio is extremely hot. I didn't like the workout and felt like for $30 you should get more motivation or personal attention. It's dark, and that made me feel less involved. Obviously this is a cult for some people but it was pretty horrible for me.

Brittany Gerig Campbell: Good workout, but I like the local cycling studios better. Be prepared for a scene if you come here! People working out in designer clothes and full makeup, and I needed earplugs in the class

Mario S: Only reason I gave it two stars is because I actually worked up a sweat. I'm a experienced indoor cycling rider with well over 400 rides. Garretts class was my worst cycling experience ever. He never explained anything and if he did say anything his music was way too loud for you to even understand. The worst part about his class was that in the middle of the session he called me out "to put emphasis on my right foot." I was so embarrassed I just continued to ride because I was extremely Infuriated. I own a personal training business and one thing I learned is to not make a client feel uncomfortable. I cant imagine how someone would have felt that has never rode before.

joshua moores: My wife recommended I take a class here. Just took my first class with Cher. This was her 4 year anniversary teaching classes...she was awesome!! Highly recommend!

Stephanie Fontenot: Words can't describe. Absolutely my favorite workout experience in DC. Try it out if you're into inspiring and tough instructors, an upbeat high-speed workout, and basically a dance party on a bike.

Alice Wang: SoulCycle's motto is "find your soul" and their promise is that you can do anything. Started in NYC, SoulCycle has exploded since its launch and developed a cult following. In August, SoulCycle opened its first location in West End. Tonight, I was able to try this pedal power workout. Signing in, shoes were given as well as a bike seat assignment. Lockers were quickly filled and a queue for the restroom formed faster than lunch hour at a food truck. Even when the doors to the studio opened and folks filed in to find their bikes, folks waited for an instructor to help adjust their bike seats and handlebars. Most of us were newcomers to SoulCycle. However, friendly faces and helpful instruction allowed everyone to comfortably get on their bikes and our instructor, Garrett, began the class. Lights dimmed and that's when I noticed the flickering candles in front of Garrett's bike. The music pumped us up as we began pedaling. Garrett started fairly slow at the lowest resistance, gradually building us up as the tempo steadily increased. Each song welcomed a new challenge. We soon increased our resistance and began doing pushups as we pedaled faster. About 20 minutes later, we switched to an upper-body toning routine with light hand weights. Up and down, punch, punch. 45 minutes later (even though it felt like 15), we were stretching out our sore muscles. I've tried a spinning class before, but SoulCycle is beyond just a spin class. It's about letting the rhythm push you. High-energy, this is a full body workout. You will sweat. You will ache tomorrow. But you will have also changed the way you perceive workouts. Inspirational instructors, modern spaces, fast-paced playlist, and a full-body, cardio workout. Welcome to DC, SoulCycle!

Biker Barre: what do users think?

Bernie Lee: A nice small studio experience. I've always come out of every cycling and Barre class feeling great. The instructors always bring a great energy to the classes and are really helpful with substitutions to adjust the workout to every level.
Response: Hi Bernie! Thank you so much for the sweet words! We are so happy you enjoyed the studio and hope to see you soon!

Ashley Siebels: Biker Barre is an excellent studio. Not all of the classes are created equally but OMG give it time because there are some amazing teachers here. I love the combination of Bike and Barre. I love the lavender towels at the end of every class. I've attended 10 or so studios since moving to DC and Biker Barre is hands down my favorite for an intense inspiring workout.

Nastya McNally: Pros: great staff, friendly atmosphere, super clean facilities, welcoming to newbies. Cons: @CabinJohn no shower; makes it difficult to balance classes with work schedule. Either a pro or a con, depending on your personality: Most cycling instructors are hard core, which is awesome & challenging. But, sometimes, I yearn for a more peaceful / mindful / restorative / gentle workout.

Kirsten S: I’ve been going to Biker Barre for about a month and I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s fun, challenging, and affirming, and the instruction is top quality. BB is also IMMACULATE and doesn’t have the weird gym smell that is so common to less well-tended spots and while that doesn’t impact my ability to work out, it’s a nice bonus. My favorite instructors always encourage me and push me but I never feel like I’m guessing on form or intensity.

Caroline B: I love Danielle's spin classes - great energy and the best playlists. And Danielle is always encouraging and supportive, no matter what level you're at. Highly recommend!

LA Feinman: Biker Barre is like "Cheers," but healthy. Friendly people, excellent instructors (really the best I've come across, and I've been spinning since the paleolithic era), and nice extra touches like frequent competitions, giveaways, prizes. It's not cheap, but all of the little extras make it worth it.

tamar mintz: I have been to many barre classes over the past few months. This was one of the best ones I have attended, hands down. I attended Jessi's open barre class and am still feeling the burn when bending down. The class flowed well and while crowded, I never felt like there was a problem with space. Great staff, wonderful class, great vibe. Will definitely be back!

Nicole Lohr: I have taken many cycling classes here and they are fun and encouraging. Some of the instructors aren't great at articulating but then again others are so Im not sure if it's a sound system problem or individual issue.

A Rc: They did not honor a pass that one of the staff talked me into purchasing during my first week. I was told I was purchasing a 5 pack that did not expire. It was especially for first-time students who did know if they could commit to multiple classes each month to make good on a monthly or New Years pass. They then said my pass expired when I tried to use it. I travel a lot, so there is no way I would have purchased a New Years pass for January, which is what they claimed I bought. I will never bike here again.

Katy Conyne: Positive: Professionalism, QualityAwesome local business that offers consistently high-quality barre classes. I have heard great things about the bike classes, too.

New Trail Cycling & Strength: what do users think?

Taralyn Kohler: New Trail Cycling Studio located in Lake Anne is the BEST! They have fantastic instructors, great music and offer a fantastic workout. Since you can adjust your own tension you make the workout at your own pace every time. The studio is also very clean and COVID-19 friendly. They offer yoga and strength classes as well. I recently booked a private party at New Trail for my birthday and they were extremely accommodating to my group - even had a special playlist with my requests! Would give 6 stars if I could!
Response: Thanks, Taralyn! We had so much fun celebrating your birthday! Looking forward to having you back soon.

Joanie Fay: This place is fantastic! I’ve been to several different indoor cycling studios, and this is one of my favorites. Everyone is welcoming and friendly, there is NONE of that snobby boutique vibe you may find elsewhere. Another great thing about New Trail is how WELL they have adjusted to the needs of everyone during the pandemic. Classes offered outside, inside or via Zoom from your own home, really meets the comfort level of anyone wanting to join a class. Several different formats to choose from also! It’s nice to find such a great spot nearby, so glad I found New Trail!
Response: Thank you for the kind words, Joanie! It was great having you in class!

Kim Chevez: If you are looking for a way to stay active this winter New Trail Cycling & Strength has your back. Really impressed with the measures New Trail has adopted to make sure all of their clients, instructors and staff are safe. They have broadened their original cycling studio to also offer yoga and strength classes. For the winter months equipment can be rented (bikes included) for streamed workouts. Can't say enough about how welcoming everyone is. Would absolutely recommend!
Response: Thanks, Kim! We appreciate your support!

Julie Miller: New Trail is an amazing place run by wonderful people. I started spin classes just before the pandemic hit. The bikes and facility were always spotless and the coaches supportive and motivating. I love how the business has adapted so well to outside and virtual offerings. The owner really cares about everyone. The website is user friendly and the customer service is great. Once I recover from an injury (completely unrelated to spin), I hope to be back!
Response: Thanks for the kind words, Julie! We can't wait to have you back!

Kimberly: I signed up for classes at New Trail Cycling to supplement training during the fall and winter months and to train for a big upcoming fundraising ride. It was truly the best decision I ever made! The entire team from Maria at the front desk, to the instructors Jeff, Madeline, and Peter (who I have taken classes by), to Liz, the fearless leader, are stellar. Maria is very kind, personable, and proactively on-point with customer service needs. Each of the cycling instructors bring a unique style to their class, but the things they have in common are fun attitudes, challenging rides, and music that motivates you! New Trail Cycling offers many package options. It's easy to sign up for classes online to reserve your spot and shoe rental is free. The studio is not a chain and I love it because there is a genuine community vibe from fellow riders that you cannot find at other places. They also have big hearts and organize great events that give back to the area they are part of.
Response: Thank you, Kimberly! We are so glad to be part of your training!

DAN CLARKE: Liz was awesome yesterday! We had a great class and workout as she pushed us as hard as we were willing to go......looking forward to future workouts.
Response: Thanks, Dan! Loved the energy you brought to class! See you soon!

Johannah Coffey: Whenever I am in DC, I always make sure to go to New Trail. While I was home for Thanksgiving, I took Madeline's (Cycle and Strength) and Liz's (Turkey Burn) classes. Both classes were great! I had not taken a class from Madeline before and I am always a little nervous trying out a new teacher but she was amazing! I loved the class and will definitely be taking her class again. She was so positive and helpful making corrections where I needed it so I had proper form and got the most out of it. New Trail is a place for all ages (my dad goes twice a week) and all levels (I am definitely on the beginner side for spin). Madeline and Liz both take that to heart by being supportive and challenging you while meeting you at your level and what you are able to do. Everyone at New Trail is so helpful, supportive, and welcoming!! It really is a great community that they have created there. You feel a part of the community as soon as you walk in the door. I highly recommend going to New Trail!
Response: Thank you Johannah! We're glad you had a chance to take a couple classes on your last visit. Look forward to seeing you next time you're in town!

Cindy Maksimow: Simply the best for many reasons! I don't write reviews very often but this place deserves it. I love the concept and wish New Trail much success. I have been riding since December 2018. 1. I feel good spending my money here because I am supporting a woman-owned small business. 2. I pay for what I use and I can buy passes in bulk which decreases the per ride cost. This is so much better than buying a gym membership that I barely use!! 3. It is a super welcoming and clean environment. All ages and fitness levels welcome. "It is your ride," as the like to say :) 4. NT is active in the community and creative with themed rides and events (again, this place deserves my money and time because they are doing more than just providing a workout). 5. The bikes/website/log/email stats are so cool. 6. Clip-in shoes included in the price per ride. This is great because if you are new or not a cycle fanatic, you might not want to buy your own shoes. The shoes are clean and effective in getting you the most optimal workout. 7. EUCALPYTUS TOWELS!!!!! *enough said*
Response: Wow, thank you so much Cindy! We are so happy you appreciate all the details and the effort we put into what we offer. :-)

Bernadette Toner Whitney: Missing your weekly spinning/cycling class during the pandemic? New Trail Cycling is the answer!!! Outside class with heaters for cold weather, clean equipment every class, temperature checks of all attendees upon arrival, and masks are required until all attendees are on their bikes at the start of class. Owner Liz and her staff go above and beyond to make your experience safe and enjoyable. Her innovative ways to make cycling available during these times is commendable. New Trail is a real gem in Reston.
Response: Thank you Bernadette! It's been a pleasure having you in class!

Lexy Parsons: New trail is simply amazing! I've been to a couple classes here now and recently bought the 3 month package - the instructors are always so kind, friendly, & helpful, the staff is professional and makes sure everyone is taken care of, PLUS it's also very clean and organized! Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a spin studio in the Reston area.
Response: Thank you, Lexy!! We love having you in the studio - your energy always puts a smile on our faces. :-)

Rush Cycle: what do users think?

Lauren Black: This was the first time I had taken a cycling class and I am now OBSESSED. Sara was the best instructor and was so helpful in getting me prepared for the class and showing me what everything was. Her class was so energetic and fun with great music. She was so encouraging the entire time and made me feel so comfortable and confident. Definitely recommend signing up to ride with her!!!

Tyler Bohnsack: Great studio, great equipment, great staff, great workout, great experience. I had Sara as my instructor for my first ever cycling class and enjoyed it a lot. I’ll definitely be back for more of her classes. She kept everyone engaged & her excitement radiated to everyone participating - I recommend you check her classes out

Veah Velasco: It was my first ever spin class and my first time at Rush and it was INCREDIBLE! I took the 8 AM with Sara and I felt so energized and challenged throughout the entire class. Also, their front desk staff was super helpful on showing me the ropes since it was my first visit/class. 1000/10 would book again!

Bora Kim: Wonderful studio. Took Gracie's class and it was really great. Loved her energy and music. Sarah at the front desk is also very friendly and helpful!

D Shep: Great energy from the Rush Team! Challenging but fun at the same time. COVID Safety Precautions in full effect; bikes well distanced, strict capacity limitations enforced, appropriate mask wearing requirements. A great place!

Washington Sports Clubs - DuPont Circle: what do users think?

G L: Supports individuals following members and blames the victim for the harassment they endured. Canceled their membership for documenting the stalker following them and still charged them for the membership. Very unprofessional on the phone when this situation was being discussed and stated that the victim should have talked to management as if them being followed is something they would address. The company would not address the stalker and that is very clear. It is important that everyone feels safe and comfortable at the gym and they did not create that sort of environment for the victim. I would absolutely not suggest this gym and believe all current members cancel as soon as they possibly can. You are not safe. You will never be safe in this gym. They do not care about their customers…

Jesse Bacon: I was in town three days for a conference and needed a gym to workout in… when we asked about daily passes the staff was super friendly and helpful in allowing me and a colleague to utilize the facility… I was able to complete all of my CrossFit workouts for the three days I was there. The facility was spacious and had everything we needed. Would totally recommend to anyone in the area looking for a gym home or those passing though on business. I’ll visit again whenever I’m in the area.
Response: Hi Jesse! That's amazing, we are so glad you were able to enjoy our Dupont Circle facility and what the club has to offer. We really hope to see you again in the future! Thanks again, HereToHelp@tsiclubs.com

Michael: It's a great gym, I really don't get why the rating isn't higher. Perhaps the former management can be blamed. Juayla could not have been more welcoming. I can recommend this gym 100% Not too busy It's clean Good variety of equipment Big lockers (gotta bring your own lock) A nice, respectful crowed
Response: Michael, WOW! Thank you so much for your 5-star rating of our Dupont Circle location and kind words about team member Juayla. We appreciate you taking the time to leave this review. We hope to see you again soon. If you ever need assistance, you can always reach us at Heretohelp@tsiclubs.com. Thanks again, Here to Help Team

J Heather: Very friendly front desk staff and cleaning staff. Location is well maintained (cleanliness and equipment). The location can get crowded especially during rush hours (around lunch and at the end of the day). The other WSC nearby shutdown so their members automatically transferred to this location. Bathroom/lockers may be spotty at times but it depends on the time of the day. They offer membership discounts if you sign up in person (just a warning regarding the annual fee- they cannot waive it).
Response: J Heather, We're thrilled that you were satisfied with our Dupont Circle location. We are happy to hear our team members are meeting your expectations. Your feedback is appreciated, and we are here should you ever need help in the future. You can always reach us at Heretohelp@tsiclubs.com. Thanks again, Here to Help Team

Linnies World: I give this gym -10/10. A facility were the staff don't care about your safety is not a place to be. Not to mention taking people hard earned money when they were protecting themselves. Let not mention the unprofessional person on the other end of the phone. This makes no sense honestly they guy needs to be fired.

Whittney Dents: A club member was being followed and recorded the interaction to protect himself. Instead of the manager being understanding, he abruptly canceled the members membership and would not give them a refund. In a society where you truly don’t know the intentions of people, recording yourself for protection should not be punished. Shame on this establishment and the manager.

Nesi Smith: This gym feel as if it’s ok for a member to be stalked and you terminate them because they’re recording for their safety!!! As a former law enforcement officer I felt the need to record was justifiable and due to the fact that he didn’t report it shouldn’t matter. You have all types of weirdos working out so the need to report is slim to none unless that person actually starts following and stalking you to point where every move you make they make!!!! Refund should have been given as well as an apology.

Micha-Re Newton: This gym disregards the safety of its members and instead punishes them for taking precautions of their own safety. A recent member had just posted an interaction on social media of how he was followed by a man throughout his entire visit. The man would move to every corner that the member did. Even down to preforming intimidating acts by setting his belongings directly next to the member. WSC then decided that they would suspend the members membership for “recording and posting. & should have taken it to management” yet no actions have been taking on the predatory behavior of the man that was recorded. I can’t imagine how they would treat a woman in this same situation if this is how they treated a gentleman.

Carmen King: Unprofessional. Member felt unsafe and recorded the man following him. The stalker told the manager & the manager canceled the victims membership and refused to give a refund. Didn't ask the victim his side or anything. Not good business & you should feel safe in your gym. 0/10

Tiana Stewart: This club does not care about the safety and well-being of their customers. Your membership will be terminated if you vent about the gym on social media with no refund of your monthly payment. This gym is not safe If you are attending alone. If you do go to this gym, please go with another person so that you were not followed around the gym.

Belin Sport & Fitness: what do users think?

Manuel Morillo: I signed up for the six week challenge program with Corey in June with a goal of losing 25lbs. Now after 6 weeks of training and meal prepping, I am that much closer to my goal. I couldn’t make 25lbs due to having less time for outside training, but nonetheless I am extremely happy and pleased with the progress I made and, albeit slowly, continue to make. The program was reasonably priced, even on a student budget, and Corey made the entire process of getting situated easy. Workouts were very intensive and also very well coordinated. If adjustments needed to be made Corey would help every step of the way and do his best to adjust so you can focus on reaching your goal. The added benefit of having an accountability group also helps tremendously when things might seem to get tough. Highly recommend giving Corey a call or a visit, he does great work!
Response: It’s great to hear that you were happy with everything Manuel. Thank you so much for the awesome review!

Hanna Haile: Corey is the best trainer I ever had. This program was amazing for me, I have never felt more accomplished after a work out than when I worked out with Corey. The program is exactly what it says it was and I was able to lose what I wanted to lose and create healthy habits for myself. I would definitely recommend this to all of my friends.
Response: Thank you so much. Glad you’re happy with the results!

Robbie Allen: Corey Belin is the definition of a ninja warrior on and off the field. He genuinely cares about his clients, is extremely professional, and supportive. Moreover, he is a coach, motivator, and pushes you to your full potential. You will definitely see results when you train with Corey. He offers a lot of amazing services for all fitness levels. My personal favorite is his iSpinn class. Forget the bike and get ready to rock out with Corey. He takes you through a high impact workout that’s sure to burn those calories. Trust me when I say, Corey cuts calories (pounds)! Highly recommend!!
Response: Thanks for the recommendations Robbie! It really helps!

Les Frasier: Corey hands down is such an amazing trainer! He pushes you to limits you don’t believe you can achieve. I have tried many trainers but Corey takes it to another level. That spin class is everything!! I can’t get enough and need to sign up for the variety of classes he offers . I have to say I look forward to working out and despite the fact it’s online now, I still feel like I get personalized attention to keep me motivated! Please join take his class you won’t regret it!
Response: We appreciate it Les!

Bethlehem Girma: My experience with Corey's bootcamp has been a positive and rewarding one. If you want results, he offers the necessary structure and guidance to help you achieve them. I first met Coach Corey about 3 months ago after my doctor told me I was overweight and needed to lose weight. Corey does special classes every month and the first classes I attended happened to be yoga. I remember telling him that I hated yoga and would skip it and come back to his night class. Of course, Corey convinced me to stay and give it a try. I did just that and ended up really enjoying the class. In the time that I’ve worked out with him, Corey has pushed me to the next level and never let me quit. I look forward to each workout because I know that I will receive quality coaching that allows me to burn a significant amount of calories by the end of the session. Corey is passionate about helping clients and is committed to empowering them to achieve their goals. I highly recommend Corey to anyone looking to make a lifestyle change and become a better version of themselves.

Jennifer Cardno: Corey at Belin sport & fitness definitely knows what he is doing. The 6week challenge is an awesome program that actually delivers results! I absolutely love the workouts. They are always different and I feel so much stronger. The best part about this program though is the tailored meal plan which isn’t like anything I’ve done before. It’s not a diet at all but more a lifestyle change. I understand now the effects that certain food have on my body and am more conscious of the food choices I make. After doing the 6week challenge I feel like my best self and can’t wait to keep going!! If you are looking for a more healthy lifestyle and are willing to put in the work and have a great time doing it then yes this is the program for you!
Response: Thank you so much for the feedback!

patricia eisner: Corey has been my trainer for over 15 years . And every single class is new and different and challenging. I took spin class without bikes this morning and was reminded how hard I need to work when I take one or corey’sClasses. He is motivating, fun and won’t let you down !!!
Response: Thanks for reviewing Patricia!

A Le: This is by far the best boot camp I have tried in the DC area. I have been going to the boot camp classes for almost a year. I have really noticed the change and improvement in my body. I'm a lot stronger and more toned. Corey Belin who is the personal trainer is a great motivator. Even though it is in a group setting, he makes you feel as if you are getting personal training one on one. Corey is original and always come up with challenging and fun routines so that the classes are never boring. As a bonus, he also works out with you on weekends in preparation for races. Come and try one of his classes and you will be hooked!

Anji Corley: The. Best. Trainer. Ever! Corey and his energy and outgoing personality is one of the best I have ever experienced. I’ve known him for over 20 years and his classes never cease to be boring or make my body feel sore… And wonderful! He is creative, innovative and really wants the best for you you just give him a little time and he will transform your body. His East-good SPIN CLASS WITH NO BIKES it’s been one of my go to for the last 10 years. It is so inventive… It’ll blow your mind oh and 30 minutes you are sweating and you feel good and you can go on about your day.
Response: So happy to be able to help! Thanks for the review Anji!

Naderge Pierre: 6 week Challenge with trainer Corey Belin, was the kick in the butt that I needed to start off my Weight loss journey with a bang. Corey's training technique was inspiring and motivating. He provided support even out side the workout sessions. I was able to learn how to change my eating habits and maximize my workout time to get much more satisfactory results of significant Weight loss and body fat loss. Although my 6 weeks are up, I will continue to work with him as my trainer to even go further with my Weight loss and journey of a healthier mind and body.

Washington Area Bicyclist Association: what do users think?

Nozipho Dube: Had a great 3 hour lesson with Chuck, Kristi, Allison, and Mike. The class size approx. 15 people at different level of skill. The instructors did a good job of splitting us up based on skill set and moving us up based on our progress. It was a great class.

Karen Brown: I had a horrible experience with WABA. It is not worth $85.00 to learn how to ride a bike. The instructors were very hands off and my husband had to assist my daughter in learning how to ride. Then the instructor tells us my daughter should come back and pay another $85.00. I was underwhelmed with what I saw. Additionally, I received a harassing email that was very inappropriate from Syndney Sotelo, WABA Director about my husband assisting my daughter when she was struggling in learning how to ride. Stay woke everyone $85.00 to be hands off is never acceptable. It’s a rip off.

Bayley Vanderpoel: Great organization doing God’s work. More bike lanes now!

Michelle Minstrell: Great resources for area cyclists, advocates for biking safety, bike lanes

Aries Keck: Love them

Tulio Bertorini: Great organization.

MINT health club & studio- Dupont: what do users think?

Massimiliano Santini: Terrible experience. It's incredible how a gym that prides itself with being a family-run independent business close to the customers, and part of the neighborhood community, has taken advantage of one of his customer. Here is what happened. I requested to cancel my gym membership 7 days before the renewal date, as I had an emergency and would not have been able to use the gym on the following month. They told me they had a 10 days cancellation notice, that they would not exercise any flexibility, and that they would press on and charge me for the following month despite the fact that I was not going to be able to use the gym for a single day. I am extremely disappointed about this charge. When I first joined Mint a few months back, as a long-time Adams Morgan resident, I was really excited to become a member of a community of gym enthusiasts that support a local business. In particular, I trusted the flexibility and friendliness displayed on their advertising emails. You can only imagine my disappointment in seeing that as I faced an emergency, MINT did not display any sort of flexibility and common sense. My advice -- go to any other gym in the neighborhood and avoid MINT. When you need any flexibility, they will not be there for you.
Response: Hi Massimiliano - We are sincerely sorry that you feel this way. Our liberal cancelation policy does require 10 days' notice and is clearly stated in all agreement information. The standard notice period in the fitness industry is 30 days. To allow time for our team to process and to be fair and equitable to all of our other members we apply this policy across all memberships. We wish you the best as you navigate your family emergency.

R Adebowale: Great local gym. Small building but with all the modern equipment needed for a good workout. Nice front desk staff.

Lexie Barton: I love Mint!! I have been so impressed by their ability to pivot during the pandemic and create an environment that truly feels safe for everyone. I cancelled my gym membership before the pandemic at another gym and felt unsafe returning as I have an at-risk person at home, until I found Mint! Cannot say enough good things about the team and the facility. Thank you, Mint team! Also agree with the 2nd review below 👇 I’ve been during all times of the day and have never had an issue with any of my belongings. There is ample locker space with the ability to choose your own combination so you can secure your items. I’ve never seen or encountered any issues.
Response: Hi Lexie! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a thoughtful and kind review. We really appreciate it!

Kaelah Horwath: MINT is the BEST! All of the instructors are amazing and it is such a nice place to work out.

A MM: My partner's wallet was stolen from his LOCKED gym locker at this location (which occured due to MINT's bad practices). Other reviewers below who are not familiar with the situation mention that you can set your own combination and that the locker must have been unlocked, but the locker was locked and the below reviewers don't mention the quality of the locks/lockers are so poor that someone could break into it in a matter of minutes. Following the robbery, MINT has barely apologized and does not respond to his emails about the situation. As an update, 6+ weeks later, the issue still has not been resolved and there has been no communication from management despite multiple attempts to contact them. It's telling that management chooses to respond to positive reviews below, but blatantly ignores this one. Would not recommend this gym.

Amy Carmichael Smith: This has been a great gym so far. I signed up a couple of months ago and I splurged for the membership that allows me to sign up for any class which I highly recommend. I wish I had more time in my day to take advantage of them all! But it's great to just sign up, even at the last minute, for an awesome class. Most importantly, the people at Mint are fantastic. Really down to earth, helpful, and friendly. I'm really fortunate that this is my neighborhood gym.
Response: Hi Amy, We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us this amazing review! It's so great to hear that you're enjoying our classes and the MINT team. :-) We can't wait to see you in the gym again!

Nisha Singh: MINT has been adapting their virtual and in-person offerings to maximize client experience and safety, from the start of the pandemic. I used to go occasionally to in-person classes at the Dupont location and started going to the Power Playground classes once my virtual fitness routine got stale and the virtual platform, class format (no equipment necessary!), and instructors were so great that I ended up buying a class pack. It's been great to feel challenged again in a workout!
Response: Hi Nisha! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a great review. We're so happy to hear you're enjoying our virtual classes, especially Power Playground. We'll be sure to share the feedback with the team!

Blanca Badgett: Mint is fantastic! The variety of classes is great as I lack self structure when I try to workout alone. The instructors are very motivating and work with all skill levels. They all have a good knowledge base to modify workouts for people with injuries which I appreciate. They also have a child care, full amenity locker rooms, and a coffee machine. It is rather expensive for memberships so I would suggest using ClassPass to try it out before fully committing. Their memberships do also include the 14th St location!
Response: Hi Blanca! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us such a thoughtful review. We're happy to hear you enjoy our classes, instructors and amenities! Looking forward to seeing you in the gym. :-)

Connor O'Donnell: I joined Mint when they reopened after the pandemic and the gym has been fantastic. There is plenty of space and equipment that you aren't on top of other members when you're working out. Even before the pandemic Mint took cleanliness and sanitation very seriously and have ramped up their procedures even more so now. The best thing about the gym is the windows that wrap around the whole building so that its drenched in sunlight. Very different feeling when compared to the dungeon weight room of Sport and Health NW in Tenleytown.
Response: Thanks so much for your thoughtful review, Connor! We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying your workouts with us.

Mallika Thomas: Such a great place! Really nice to go to a local, family-owned gym that is really set on delivering great health and wellness to the local community! What I especially love are the outdoor classes that are being offered in the time of Covid. They are safe, in small groups, and outdoors! And I really need the exercise after having been inside for so many months! Thank you, especially to Lauren for offering a fantastic outdoor workout!
Response: Hi Mallika! Thank you so much for leaving us such a fantastic review. We'll be sure to pass the compliment on to Lauren.

Washington Sports Clubs - Glover Park: what do users think?

My Comment: Great neighborhood gym. Staff there -- Mahlape, Olga, Luis -- who are there in the mornings are friendly and quick to help if you have questions. You get a neighborhood vibe from the place as compared to the nameless big gyms. Especially during the pandemic you can see the extra effort they put in to keep the place clean, open, and welcoming. They make you feel part of a family. Glad to be a Glover Park member.
Response: Judd, We can't thank you enough for your 5-star rating of our Glover Park location. It means the world to us and lets us know we're on the right track! We are thrilled to hear that our team members are always welcoming, as we strive to deliver the best customer service. We are always happy to help should you ever need assistance in the future. You can reach us at Heretohelp@tsiclubs.com. Thanks for being a part of Washington Sports Clubs. Thanks again, Here to Help Team

Jason Yeung: Been a member for several months now. I’ve haven’t had a negative experience with team members. The people that workout here are also very respectful and friendly. In response to a negative review of a team member I wanted to share my experience with her. Towards me, she’s always been friendly and hospitable. She does her best to remember everyone by name and notices when your workout buddy isn’t with you, even to the point of asking if they’re ok. The lack of a 5th star is not because of the staff. I wish there were bumper plates, another squat rack, and high quality barbells. That’s most likely a corporate issue.
Response: Jason, We appreciate the time you took to rate our Glover Park location. Thanks for acknowledging our team members daily efforts. We would like to thank you for your constructive feedback. We are continuously working to make improvements when it comes to delivering the best fitness experience. If you would like to share any additional feedback, we are here to listen with care. You can reach us at Heretohelp@tsiclubs.com. All the best, Here to Help Team

Ricardo Martinez: I must disagree with a previous review. Malape is a value member of the gym, she is courteous, polite and nice in general. If there is a piece of equipment that is behind the desk, she would gladly point it to me so I can grab it (due to COVID). Luis is another great asset to the gym, he always looks to have everything ready and clean for us to workout early in the morning, always say hi with a smile and good attitude. I am appreciative of their work.
Response: Ricardo, We always enjoy hearing what our customers have to say. Thanks for shouting out our awesome team members Malape and Luis. We're glad we could be of service and that you had a great experience at our Glover Park location. Thank you for taking the time to leave this review, and we appreciate your kind words. We are always here to listen with care. You can reach us at Heretohelp@tsiclubs.com should you ever need assistance in the future. Thanks again, Here to Help Team

John Byrne: This is a great sports club with a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Mahlape has always been an incredible asset -- friendly, professional and knowledgeable -- and Luis keeps everything extremely clean. The club was renovated a few years ago, and there is great equipment and a lot of space. Also, very easy to get to on Wisconsin Avenue.
Response: John, Thank you for being a loyal member of our Glover Park location. Many thanks for thinking of us and leaving a 5-Star review. We would also like to thank you for recognizing our team members Mahlape and Luis. We're grateful for your trust, confidence, and business in choosing Washington Sports Clubs as your fitness provider. We hope to continue to exceed your expectations. You can always share feedback, or should you ever need assistance; you can reach us at Heretohelp@tsiclubs.com. Thanks again, Here to Help Team

Alexandre B. Sagna: I love ❤️ being part of Washington Sport Club Glover Park. The whole staff is friendly 😊. Brought two of my buddies to train with me and they loved it. Yes it’s tiny that’s true so if you don’t like being close to each other I recommend not to come around pick time 😊.
Response: Dear Alexandre, Thanks so much for taking the time to share such positive feedback! It is truly touching to know you think so highly of us and are sharing this experience with your friends! If you ever need anything please don't hesitate to reach out to our team at HereToHelp@tsiclubs.com. Thanks again, HereToHelp Team

Joao Pedro: Very friendly staff and great customer service! I also want to kindly disagree with what was said in the latest review since I believe that the “older black woman”, as she was referred, is actually a valuable member and a very nice person who contributes a lot to the gym with her nice work. I only have great words to say about the whole team that works there. The gym is always super clean. The machines are well maintained, and there’s a good number of ergs, so I don’t have to wait to do my cardio.
Response: Thank you for the kind words, João! We’re so happy your membership experience went so smoothly. We love to provide great service to awesome members like you. If you ever need anything please do not hesitate to reach out to HeretoHelp@tsiclubs.com. Thanks again! Marc Digital Member Relations Manager

Will Wu: Great budget gym in Glover Park. Been a member for almost a year and never had any problems with them. Would recommend

Vinicio Aguirre: Wsc Glover is a gym that I highly recommend to the neighborhood or anyone looking to go have a good workout. It’s had major changes since the original Covid transitions. The people there are welcoming and enthusiastic when it comes to its members. If you are an individual that is somewhat of a germaphobe, there is an employee by name of Shanica who works hard keeping the cleanliness of the gym to its highest standards. She makes sure the antibacterial wipes are always stocked and the workout rooms as well as mats are cleaned daily. Overall I believe you come to the gym you’ll agree with my review.
Response: Hi Vinicio - thank you very much for your review of our Glover Park location! We are so thrilled to hear that you are enjoying our club. We appreciate your continued loyalty and if there is any further feedback that you wish to send us, please contact us at HereToHelp@tsiclubs.com. Thanks again, HereToHelp Team

Bernard Holland: I have not been to WSC Glover Park since the pandemic and plan to rejoin when things quiet down. Before that I was there most days for ten years. The elderly black woman Lizzie was referring to is Mahlape who has been there for more than 20 years. Mahlape is the glue that holds that club together. All the people I know that attended the club adored Mahlape. I cannot imagine her being rude undeservedly to anyone. Moreover I have seen a few altercations between staff and members in my time at the club. Invariably it was the members who were at fault.
Response: Bernard, Thank you for taking the time to rate our Glover Park location. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we take pride in delivering exceptional service. We look forward to your return and continuing to support your fitness journey. We are always here if you ever need assistance in the future. You can always reach us at Heretohelp@tsiclubs.com. Thanks again, Here to Help Team

Gretchen Whitney: Washington Sports Club in GloverPark is very convient for me, clean, cost-effective, etc.. I always appreciate being welcomed by Malape (spelling?). The yoga and exercise instructors are excellent. I don't like wearing a mask now but appreciate the club's attention to the requirement and safety. I recommend it!
Response: Gretchen, Thanks for choosing our Glover Park location and leaving such a great review! Feedback like yours reminds us why we do what we do. We are thrilled to hear that you love our group fitness instructors and that team member Malape is delivering you a great experience. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Should you ever need any help, you can always reach us at Heretohelp@tsiclubs.com. Thanks again, Here to Help Team

Reformation Fitness – Cap Hill: what do users think?

Gladwin Gilman: Had my first class ever in my life and to say I enjoyed myself is an understatement. I’m on the curvier plus size and felt included and welcome in the class. It was small and vaccination records were required. Our instructor Natalie Rico made us feel even more welcomed and she was so patient and we are 10000 percent coming back. If you’re not a typical fit lady with abs and previous Pilates experience try a class and ask for Natalie.

Posh Cycling and Fitness: what do users think?

Elizabeth Prince: I love the variety of classes at POSH! If I feeling like aerobics, I can do that. If I want to cycle, I can do that. If I want some cycling with some resistance, I can do that. I absolutely love the mixture. The staff is always inviting and welcoming. The business is run so professionally. The owners are keeping the establishment clean and up to COVID standards. I truly appreciate that. They are checking for temperatures and handing out hand sanitizer once you walk in. Not only is POSH black owned, but reputable. This is the type of place you want to share with the masses.

Thomas Hool: I was not into cycling at all before my wife started coming here (I had a bad experience at one of those weird "cult-y" spin companies), but the folks here at Posh as so nice and welcoming that I fell for it as soon as I started my first class. It's way more affordable than any other cycling studio in the DMV and it's really nice that it's owned and operated by a married couple who live in the neighborhood. They have other classes besides spin and they even hold community events, too! This place is so great!
Response: Thank you TJ! We love having you and your wife in our classes! Thank you for supporting a small business!

Maria Gutierrez: Yesterday I went to Posh for the first time and I loved it. I had never tried spinning before and I was impressed with the experience. The trainer, the big screen, the avatar they use, the bikes, and the music were just very cool. I also loved the studio and the variety of classes they offer. I totally recommend it! See you there.
Response: So glad that you had a wonderful experience! We'll see you back soon!

Antonio HaileSelassie: Just took my first ever yoga class with Dara! It's called Soul Fit Yoga. More of a fitness yoga. She was patient with me... Being a big, non-limber guy. I'll definitely be taking her class again. And anyone that says yoga is easy... Hasn't taken a class.
Response: Thank you for taking a yoga class at Posh. We enjoyed having you. Please come again.

Ticoxio P: Did one of their spinning classes. I really liked it. The location is clean and nice. There is plenty parking space and its free. I love the bike's system as it feels like I am playing a video game with friends.
Response: Thank you for sharing with others the experience you had! We look to have you back soon!

Veronica Campbell: I took my first pilates/sculpt class today and I definitely felt the burn--I had a great time. The facility is bright, clean and cheerful and I can't wait to go back for my next class!
Response: Thank you so much Veronica. Thank you for your support. We can't wait to have you in the studio soon. Have a Posh Time!!

Balance Gym: Glover Park: what do users think?

Ashley M: I joined and was told the top floor would be closing in a week, but that ALL equipment and amenities would be retained (I was most interested in the sauna and Olympic weightlifting platforms). VERY disappointed in the false advertising. There is no longer a sauna, the locker room is TINY (the old one was super nice, the one available now is not), they got rid of the 2 Olympic weightlifting platforms, and when you email the manager to ask questions he ignores you. Really annoyed that I pay $100 a month and was told the gym has what I was looking for. When I talked to the front desk person (because the manager ignores emails), she said, “well you could go to one of our other locations if you want a sauna.” I tried to set up personal training, which you’re supposed to get 1 free session when you join, and I never could get a response from the person I was supposed to be hearing from. The person who works the front desk in the morning is often not there, so you have to wait around to get your parking validated. The pros: I really like the downstairs weightlifting room. It has a bunch of racks and free weights, and is technically a CrossFit gym even though there aren’t any official CrossFit classes offered. Some of the racks are really close together if you’re oly lifting, but we make it work. I also like that there is free parking at this location, unlike many others. Bring back the sauna and yoga classes and I’ll give a much higher rating. I can live without the oly platforms.

C E: The Go for It spirit at Balance Gym is beyond impeccable. All of us want to help out in the contribution to our wonderful community held together by the strength of our Federal Government. Imagine sitting in front of a computer screen, organizing files and papers, having important meetings day and night about policies that affect the 50 States if not the World. Yes, I would go again to Balance Gym!

Grace Phillips: Amazing facility! Very clean! Staff is very accommodating. I was only visiting for the holidays and they have a one week and a two week option! Equipment is suitable for heavy lifters and those who desire a simpler workout. They offer tons of classes at great times. I think I found my gym away from home!

Stephanie C. Giancola: An amazing gym with a phenomenal staff! Jacob, the GM was extremely patient and tending to my million questions about what the gym has to offer. Boy, was I surprised! They have a variety of good equipment available, different sections to do turf workouts, weight lifting, cardio, yoga, etc. the building used to be a spa, so the locker rooms are dreamy, and they offer specials on esthetic/massage work upstairs. I was able to take a boot camp class before signing up for a membership. The class was challenging, but within reason. The coach was enthusiastic, and everybody was having a good time. There is a Crossfit section as well! And they even offer classes like solid core, with the Pilates machine! This gym has everything you need, even parking in the back! Ask for Jacob and he’ll set you up. Also—lots of cool freebies like a free personal training session and three free Pilates reformer classes to start you off!
Response: Hi Stephanie - Thank you so much for such a detailed and positive review! Our entire team is dedicated to providing the highest quality fitness offering at a reasonable cost - very glad to hear you are among our satisfied customers! Look forward to seeing you soon at the gym! -Jacob

Gail G.: Group classes here are not very good, for the most part (definitely are exceptions- I also don't do yoga): same boring routines, same boring instructors. They do not change things up, and the popular instructors only teach 1 class a week, so that one class is packed. The group fitness used to be managed so much better-- constantly requested feedback and ideas.
Response: Hi Gail- We appreciate you leaving us feedback. My name is Jacob and I'm the General Manager of the club. While we are proud of our group exercise program, there's certainly always room for improvement, so thank you for bringing your concerns to us. Would you like to stop by my office at the gym and discuss? You can provide any additional feedback, and I can help identify the classes on our schedule that might work best for you. Just ask for Jacob at the front desk! At Balance Gym Glover Park, we're proud to offer a wide range of group fitness classes, all of which are available at no extra cost with membership. These include yoga, pilates, barre, zumba, piloxing, cycling, Balance Body, Bodypump and bootcamp. We also offer premium classes: CrossFit and DC's best Lagree program. We're here to support your fitness in every way possible. So please -- feel welcome to come on by my office and we can chat about how you can get the most out of your membership. Best, Jacob Kass General Manager, Glover Park

Maddie Mitchell: Balance Gym is truly one of the best in the city! Glover Park has super clean facilities, updated equipment, and tons of classes when I don't want to workout on my own. Trying to get my friends to join!
Response: Thanks Maddie! Glad you are enjoying! -Jacob, club GM

Momena Ali: The equipment is fine and the facility is clean but the majority of the staff are quite rude and unwelcoming. I went it and handed my card to a woman who didn't say hi back or you're welcome, and didn't even look at me. She has done this several times. Besides the friendliness of the staff, I enjoy working out there.

Seth Price: This may be one of the best kept secretes in dc. Space is smaller but not crowded. If you want a spa like atmosphere for your workout without all the usually gym rats this place is ideal My trainer moved here a few months back and I couldn"t be happier. I read a few negative reviews before I went and frankly don't get it. I was always treated well and felt it was great value.

Ryan McLaughlin: Do not do business with this company! They just sent me to a debt collections agency for a billing error THEY MADE!! I joined about a year ago and signed a contract for 6 months of crossfit because I was moving at the end of the 6 months. I paid the entire amount in full up front at the start of the contract. At the end of my 6 month membership I moved and did not expect to hear from Balance again. About 5 months later I get a email from them stating that they ran some report and found that they somehow credited my account by $214 dollars 5 months ago but were only telling me now. They have yet to provide proper documentation for this and insist I check my banking records to find their error in which they claim to have credited my account by mistake. Instead of taking the time to resolve the error they made, they sent me to collections. I instantly paid the credit collection agency as one would as to not risk having my credit score negatively effected. I'm very sad to have to write this review because I enjoyed their gym but their billing departments practices are fraudulent and highly unethical. I would highly advise anyone not to join Balance Gym.

Aaron E.: Beware of their misleading billing policies! I was a member here for a year. I emailed them in early January 2019 to cancel my membership and received a response saying (in all bold font) that since I had pre-paid my final payment, I would “have no further payments due,” and my membership would run out on March 8. Much to my surprise then, Balance charged me $29 on February 15. I emailed them and asked that this charge be removed since I was previously told that I had no further payments. The billing person (Alex) quite rudely responded to me stating that this $29 is an “enhancement fee” charged to all members on 2/15. When I insisted that this charge be reversed because I was misled by their original email, I was simply told no and that this is part of the membership agreement. A proper business would have apologized for misleading me and offered a refund for the $29. Balance, however, clearly only cares about getting as much money out of you as they can.
Response: As a courtesy, Aaron was issued a refund and we have since resolved this issue with better communication about our membership policies.

Washington Sports Clubs - Columbia Heights: what do users think?

Kuntal Sen, MD, FACMG: My poor review is due to following reasons: My trainer left abruptly without notice. I was charged for cancelling my session with him even though it was their fault. I have disputed the credit card charge. They are infamous for wrongly charging customers and fraudulent activity. They implemented covid vaccine card policy which was nice but didn’t inform customers. I and others was treated very unprofessionally by front desk during this day.
Response: Kuntal, We're sorry to hear of your less than satisfactory experience at our Columbia Heights location. We hope you will accept our sincerest apologies. We are committed to providing a great fitness experience, and we would like to make things right. Please send us an email to Heretohelp@tsiclubs.com so that we can determine how we can provide you with a solution. We value our customers' opinions and thank you for bringing this to our attention. April: Personal Training - Thomas Harrington After being out of the gym for a while, Thomas was much needed. He is kind, engaging, patient and knowledgeable just to name a few. What I really like about him, he takes the time to explain the whats and whys. It doesn't feel like he's just "doing his job". Thomas goes above and beyond to explain the mechanics in layman's terms. After each session I walk away having learned something. He loves what he does, and he's happy to pass it on. Thomas gets 10s from me.
Response: Hi April - thank you for taking the time to submit this positive review of Thomas! We love hearing that our team is making a different in our member's lives. We have shared this feedback with the club team. We hope you continue to love your sessions and we will see you around the club! Thanks again, HereToHelp@tsiclubs.com

Luke Brown: Thomas Harrington was the trainer I needed! Thomas has revolutionized my workout regimen and level of fitness. Not only am I noticeably stronger and more toned, I also have greater self-confidence in the gym, better kinesthetic awareness, and a bevy of workout routines will demonstrated results. Thomas has been a strong balance of expertise and care for me. He frequently spent additional time showing me an alternative exercise, checking-in about my hesitations, or demonstrating an additional stretch for a lingering ache. I actively looked forward to our time together, and I will apply his instruction for years to come. I had been hesitant to pay for a personal trainer, yet investing in my time with Thomas has been a massive personal victory. I would recommend Thomas to anyone hoping to build more effective workout routines, prevent or recuperate from an injury, or develop their confidence in and around the gym. Whether you are looking to fine tune your workouts or turn more heads, I'd invest in time with Thomas.
Response: Wow Luke! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review for our Columbia Heights location including amazing feedback for our trainer, Thomas! We will be sure to pass along the feedback to Thomas and the rest of our team. We hope you continue to enjoy your time with him and we will be seeing you around our club! Thanks again, HereToHelp@tsiclubs.com

Conor O'Reilly: I had a personal training session with Phil and he did a great job! He taught me a lot about free weights and stretching. Now I feel more comfortable to use the more advanced equipment. They also have a pool, sauna, and basketball court. Love this place
Response: Conor, Thank you for taking a moment to leave such a positive review for our Columbia Heights location and sharing your experience with our personal trainer, Phil. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your personal training session with him and feel more comfortable with using the equipment around the facility. If you ever need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out to HeretoHelp@tsiclubs.com. Thanks again, Here to Help Team

Terry Chasteen: I joined on a special rate, maybe it was 2018. Due to my own fault, I never used the gym ... not once. I cannot blame that on anyone else, however I would have thought with a new client in a business like this, someone would have reached out; invited me in for a tour, found out why I was paying monthly but never using the facility. No one ever contacted me for the full year that I was billed. That is not the worst part, however, Even though it was NOT in the contract, they automatically renewed my membership without my approval and not only at my original rate but almost $30/mo above. This went on for a year since I never used that credit card and it was paid monthly automatically by my bank. Only bc of sething else on the card did I notice the fraudulant charges and they were too old for my bank to recover.
Response: Terry, Thank you for reaching out regarding your experience at our Columbia Heights location. We’re always looking to make things right. We do truly appreciate the feedback as we’re always looking for ways to improve our member experience. Thanks for taking the time to leave this review and we hope you will provide us with an opportunity to do better. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you by emailing us at Heretohelp@tsiclubs.com. All the best, Here to Help Team

Benyam Ephrem: Scheduled an InBody scan a week ago (as a non-member), came in prepped for the scan (no breakfast) at 10am - front desk said they did not have an appointment asking if I received a confirmation email (I said I got no calls or emails), then made me scan a QR code on a banner to schedule for another day since apparently the person doing the scans would be in at 5pm. Frustrating experience. Will not be coming back to the gym.
Response: Benyam, We are terribly sorry for your experience at our Columbia Heights location. It is because of customers like you that we can continue to learn how to improve. We are most certainly sad to hear that we fell short. We want to contact you and learn more about your recent experience. Please feel free to send us an email with additional details to Heretohelp@tsiclubs.com. All the best, Here to Help Team

Gregory Alan: Critical: QualityMediocre at best. See attached pictures below. The equipment is not well maintained and does not justify the cost of membership. Also the club hours are terrible on the weekends.
Response: Gregory, thank you very much for your feedback. We take our member's insights to heart, and we apologize for not providing you with the best possible experience in our clubs. As you know, the pandemic has presented a unique set of obstacles for most business but has especially affected the fitness industry. If you are open to discussing further we would love to connect you with one of our Customer Relations Managers at heretohelp@tsiclubs.com. All the best, Here to help team

Thaiz Alicia: Do not come to this gym!!! They do not care for your safety!! They will cancel your membership for protecting yourself from weird men that will follow you around ! Stay safe and go to a gym that will help you out and help you enjoy your gym experience instead of canceling your membership!

Mahvash Edrissi: I started going to gym a month ago, first it was difficult to come out after so long time lock down. But after few days I got used to it now i want to go there everyday. Friendy staff, and clean place, and all equipment makes this place great. I do my exercise, take a shower and saunas, afterwards I feel great about myself. Thank you wsc
Response: Mahvash, We're delighted to hear about your experience. We truly appreciate your recommendation of our Columbia Heights location. We will work hard to continue going above and beyond. As always, our team is looking forward to your next visit. We are always here if you have any additional feedback or suggestions. You can reach us at Heretohelp@tsiclubs.com. Bita Kh: The worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Nobody takes responsibility for the actions. They charge me with new fee membership that is more than the original one because of the mistake that made by themselves. I’ve spoke with customer service and sales department several times, everybody already aware of this problem but no action. When I follow up they send me to new person. This is absurd.
Response: Bita, We're sorry to hear of your less than satisfactory experience at our Columbia Heights location. We hope you will accept our sincerest apologies. We are committed to providing a great fitness experience, and we would like to make things right. VIDA Fitness U Street: what do users think?

Benyam Ephrem: Overall: Solid gym, nothing is overtly missing. You can do everything you need to do. Summary: Basically 3 floors, cardio floor, machine + dumbbell floor, powerlifting floor (w/ dumbbell rack). Good: The ambiance and vibe is good. You feel like you are working out in a cave with a bunch of people. Bad: - Working out from 5-6/7 sucks. The gym is too small to serve the load of patrons at rush times. There aren’t enough benches & benches for presses so you find yourself waiting for major lifts. - If you go any other time that is non-rush it is a solid gym - The benches are way too close to the mirrors, you can’t do heavy lifts and drop weights. It just feels cramped. You have to maneuver around people doing heavy lifts and there are just personal space issues (when squatting I don’t want anyone near me, we have mental bubbles). - Maybe picky but the dumbbells are decent ones. I’ve used better with more grip (steel handle with a mesh pattern etched in). They are a bit narrow in grip and have plastic handles with decent grip. This nuance is kind of annoying and grip is worse so I just do few dumbbell movements now. I’d give ~3 1/2 stars but I imagine there is a huge constraint on real-estate within the city so a gym can only be so large, etc (can’t compare it to gyms I’ve been to elsewhere). But at ~$120/130/mo you’d want more space and just…more. But this was the closest complete gym option to me (.8 mile jog) and the vibes are good. Edit: Have visited all other branches. Nice to be able to switch up gyms on a day you have time to jog farther. Great branding & vibe consistency. Great value add if you want to switch things up and drop in other gyms.
Response: Hi Benyam, thank you for your review and feedback. We take great pride in our facilities and glad to hear you have overall had a great experience. I'll make sure to share the feedback regarding both the dumbbell grips and the placement of benches in relation to the mirror. I invite you to try out some of the other locations in your membership if you get the opportunity, although I can appreciate that our U Street location is less than a mile away from you and that's fantastic. Stay strong, stay well, and see you at VIDA again soon!

Smiley Sunshine: Definitely worth the money spent! My favorite is the Sweatbox Class. Lost 14 pounds within a month and a 1/2 just in time for my wedding. Took a month off, then returned and worked out until the day of my surgery. I am recovering and So far, I can only do bike and light cardio :( but safety first. Once I'm cleared to do high intensity workouts, I will go to the Sweatbox. Can wait!
Response: Wow, and thanks for this review! Glad to hear you got the results you wanted for your wedding and hope you had a great time on your big day. It sounds like you're well on your way back to Sweatbox and we can't wait to have you rejoin some classes. Take it easy on the road to recovery and we'll see you VERY soon. Stay strong, stay healthy, stay well!

Taylor Hayes: I pay entirely too much money for there to be towels in the floor from a roof leak, a scale in the locker room that has been low battery for a week so I can’t weigh myself, and RUDE STAFF. Will be canceling my membership this month.
Response: Hi Taylor, we're super bummed to hear this and our facilities team works hard to ensure these kind of issues don't happen. I'll flag this with them, as well as the management team at U Street, and see what's going on. David Gershman: In the most appropriate way, I can say that Vida does not prioritize member safety in its steam rooms and saunas.
Response: Hi David, thanks for taking the time to leave this feedback. We recently rolled out new policies regarding our steam rooms and sauna with this goal squarely in mind, so curious to hear what sort of issues you are having. Please feel free to speak to the GM at U Street privately and/or contact our DIB with your concerns. Their information can be found at www.vidafitness.com/diversityboard. We take our members safety very seriously. Thanks again.

Joe Kawly: The most decent gym in DC. But lately, they have been faking short especially when it comesTo maintenance. It feels like each day there is something not working.

Mattia Pallozzi: Honestly I have had always a lovely experience, clean fun and the staff especially has always been pretty amazing, from managers to trainers! 👌🏻👌🏻
Response: Hi Mattia, thanks so much for the 5 star review! We think our staff is pretty awesome too and glad to hear you're getting such great service. Not to mention our housekeeping team, which we truly believe is the best in the biz. Thanks again and see you at U Street again soon!

Harry Longlast: I a had meeting with Paul and all I can say is that I have never felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed before. His rude comments about my " big chunky thighs and lack of motivation " were very unprofessional. How do you even motivate someone by highlighting his/her insecurities? He was very rude and impatient. I am not an experienced lifter, however I was under the impression that the staff and culture at vida fitness were solid. The level of unprofessionalism really upset me and will for sure never come back. He was trying way too hard and pushing me to buy a membership and did not even consider my questions, concerns. I believe as a sales director or rep; you must be able to not only know your product but to hear your clients needs in order to better cater to their need. I run a local blog with over 5,000 daily readers and will for sure write about this awful experience. I understand I am overweight but I want to make the changes in my life that get me healthier; I just wish mr Paul, as a professional would be more empathetic and see me as a human being; not just a number.

Reynaldo Castillo: Positive: ProfessionalismAmazing workout experience from the membership consultation to the quality of the facility. Paul Leiby understood my fitness goals and listened to all my concerns as I came from another gym franchise. I fully endorse the quality of the experience and I guaranty you will see results in your fitness goals.
Response: Thank you for the kind and thoughtful review, Reynaldo! We're thrilled to have you as a member of the VIDA Fitness U Street community, and we're delighted to hear that Paul has been such an asset in helping you reach your fitness goals. Take care - and thank you for joining us!

Jordan Bayless: Absolutely love the gym itself. The facility is large and has a dedicated floor for compound lifts filled with squat racks and deadlift platforms. Unfortunately, personal trainers usually dominate this space and use it for calisthenics and TRX workouts. Granted, they seem very focused on ensuring their clients have a great experience, just at the cost of other members. As a result, there is almost never an open rack or platform. The locker rooms are top notch. With a sauna, steam room, and showers that have excellent bath products, there is amazing attention to detail. The rest of the facility is nice as well. Although, it is devoid of some typically essential equipment such as seated leg curls. These spaces, to include cardio rooms, are often overcrowded and only seem to be less trafficked from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Overall, the facility is great, to include the rooftop pool. However, these seem to be used as selling points to encourage new members and after joining, the organization only is invested in trying to get members to spend more money through personal trainers, nutritionists, etc. rather than ensure members spending $180/month have an enjoyable experience.

Robert Mckernan: Pros: They have an entire floor dedicated to power lifting that has squat racks and platforms so you don’t have to wait! One always opens up within 3-5 minutes even at peak hours. The roof top pool is great and so is the food as well. I love those friggin’ wings and drinks! They also never run out of sanitizer, sprays, wipes and towels. Great hours is also a plus. I have a second membership at a competitor for later hours when my schedule entails but vida is definitely my preferred location. The members are super friendly and great and I never see anyone not masked or sassy when they’re required; I’ve made many friends at the pool so keep that in mind. Value is a plus; I’m used to spending ~150-300/mo for other premium/lux gyms and I feel what they charge is very fair. Also a barber in the gym is great and they have quality cuts. Cons: Their billing department is deficient, I’ve never had a issue with a gym not being able to schedule recurring charges, and it seems they have been unable to properly due so. The $150 sign up fee that gets rolled over into credit to use at the gym, it took two months for it to get added into the barber account. I had to follow up about it several times to make that happen. Very frustrating and not a very luxurious feeling to have to deal with that as a new member. Each month billing cycle roles around and i ask them (FD) if everything is squared away and they say yup/yes you're all good. Yet for the past two months in a row they contact me weeks after it’s due saying I have late fees and haven’t paid. Even when I’ve called and spoke to them each time on the phone after the first warning they still don’t properly process it and it ends up back after 10 days in a email; you have late fees, it’s very disappointing. I know they’re able to process my card; they’ve charged that same card “no show fees” when I’ve booked for the pool and it’s canceled due to rain. So it seems sus. It took about 3 weeks of my effort of calling, emailing and talking to the front desk to get that squared away to refund the “no show fee” when they closed the pool due to weather. In that process many emails were not answered. They did however eventually reverse the charges but it wasn’t easy and the communication was absent until finally getting ahold of the billing manager in person as she was taking out trash one day. She was very kind and apologizes and seemed to be the person who gets things done. If I were the owners I’d give her more tools or people to work in her department to make their billing staff efficient, or let someone else take out trash so she can better allocate her skills to where they’re most needed. The rude front desk manager in other posts is most likely John/Jon, he doesn’t listen to guests and always responds with attitude. I tried to review my account today and was met with “well maybe you should try paying your card so it doesn’t decline”, like dude I’ve never carried a balance, and when I paid it with the same card today in person there was no issue. I definitely did not appreciate his less than helpful personality. I would like this late fee reversed but I would happily pay $10 to not have to talk to John/Jon again. **Communication** Forget about trying to leave a message anywhere, inboxes are full at their billing specialists, pool inbox, everywhere on their phone tree. Emails aren’t answered, so your only chance to have them resolve any issue is in person, provided you find someone willing. Penthouse reservations; weekend slots for premium seating are booked quickly and often occupied primarily by their employees; seems sus. If you want a spot; set a alarm for 167.9 hours before you want it and immediately book when it changes to 168 hours, else lose your chance to vibe on a daybed or cabana on the weekend. In summary: it’s a good place and I’m sure they're doing the best they can during this pandemic, but boy it can be frustrating. If it gets better I’ll be sure to update this review. Best Rob
