Justin Peoples: 5 stars! Waited last minute to get a Halloween costume. Went to 4 different party city/spirit stores which were sold out of everything. This location has everything you need in stock and great customer service.

Jada King: Such a great family business! I called last minute and wasn’t able to pick up my merchandise until after hours, and they worked with me to make sure I could get my stuff that day. Everyone is super nice and I will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much

Total Fright: what do users think?

James Arrington: Only days before Halloween..And they had everything...Line was long, but they had a system in place I was in and out..Total Time was 22min..Not kidding

Michael: Smallish retail space for the number of people cycling through. The aisles were rather narrow. Overall, friendly and helpful staff.

A'nya-Rae Ebb: Called 2 find out if they had a particular costume which I was ecstatic they had. Went to pick it up, ready and waiting for me to pick up! In and out with great customer service. They ROCK!

Natalie Elizabeth Pitts: I love this Halloween/Party store. Staff member Scout helps us put together our group theme Halloween outfits plus other Halloween decor. Scout is the sweetest and very helpful 🎃👻

Temyka Bryant: Googled Halloween stores and to my surprise TOTALFRIGHT had everything!!!! I mean EVERYTHING we needed for my son’s 1st Halloween Birthday Party! I recommend EVERYONE to go check them out!!!

Harold Cartier: Great selection and good prices. Obviously avoid going there during Halloween season. Lines get long and you sometimes have to wait before being let into the store.

flo jo: The store was ok and u are allowed to try on 2 costumes at a time.

Comfort Zone / Night Dreams: what do users think?

barbie jade: Bogus prices! IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A LUSH 3 DON’T COME HERE! Go to (KNOCK FIRST) adult store in Rockville md… $118 w/o tax and 126 with tax… Kevin is the man👍🏾 So basically I came to COMFORT ZONE store and I asked about the lush two and three and she told me there was a difference IN prices by $10. However the LUSH 3 was $190 or 187 that’s before tax and the lush 2 was 167. Which is super bogus, then when I ask why were they so high… WITH an ATTITUDE.. The lady said they are at retail prices. She also lied when I inquired about any other local sex stores nearby and said that they were one of two and the other store was all the way far in fort Washington somewhere🙄 IF you go online and want to wait for your toy it’s less than $120 and if you want to drive 23 minutes away from COMFORT ZONE store they have them in Rockville at knock first.$118 after taxes $126

Rashauna Tunson: AMAZING! An incredible, inclusive and fun collection of all your heart (and other regions) desires. I felt safe, and everything was clean. The staff kept their distance, but was still very helpful. As a disgruntled former employee of another adult chain - this is what an adult store should be! Thank you! ☺️

Michael Nguyen: I just had the most wonderful customer service from Comfort Zone! Great store with so many options. I couldn’t make up my mind and to top it off the prices whereas to fair. Thank you!

Nicole Radams: Everyone was so knowledgeable and kind!! The store has everything you can think of and more. Overall great experience. Will be coming back.

Crystal Ross: The staff is so welcoming and polite! They make us feel welcome and at home every time we come. The selection of items have a wide range for male and female enjoyment. A discount system is in place so you can get a certain percentage off of your purchase if you fit the category. I absolutely LOVE going to Comfort Zone!!!

Allen Meadows II: I’ve made several visits to this store. At times I’ve just browsed to see the wide variety of items that they sale, and at times I’ve made purchases. Each visit I’ve been experienced excellent customer service. It’s truly worth your time to make a visit!

Christ Child Opportunity Shop: what do users think?

Kurt LaRose MSW LCSW LICSW: The antiques and the finds here are wonderful. The staff, volunteers, care so much about the items. Here I am reminded of my grandparents dishes, jewelry, paintings, dishes, silver, metalurgy, pocket watches, rugs .... and the iron statutes are just phenomenal. Today I found a 10k gold rosary engraved from 1924 ... with a historical attention to detail that is awesome. The people working in the store celebrate the items as you look.

rebecca leigh: A lovely store with beautiful things. Sometimes a bit pricey. The service is excellent and warm.

Sandra Biedron: Wow. Great place for vintage jewelry and everything else one needs for a home or office. Not only is everything repurposed but all proceeds go to children in the area that need help meeting their emotional needs. Found four rare Portmeirion pottery pieces as well as two pieces of vintage high-end jewelry. These were very fairly priced with the market. Excellent collection of dishes, silver, and crystal. Go there instead of doing a wedding registry! So much more green! Rock on Opportunity Shop - you made my heart happy today seeing things re-purposed! The place was packed!

Eric Rajendra: The best antique and bric-a-brac store in all of DC. Our family in Georgetown has given thousands of dollars worth in contributions of our own antiques we no longer needed and then we bought thousands of dollars more in antiques we needed!! This place is a gem for us Washingtonians!! The volunteer staff members are truly precious and really dedicated!! They love their work and make the entire experience of browsing a joy. The second floor has great stuff so GO UP!! Jewelry, silverware, Asian antiques, porcelain, etc! You won’t be disappointed. You need to return weekly as new consignments and donations come all the time!! Trust me.

Randolph Lopez: Question the authenticity of the antiques and antiquities. Do not be misled. I was foolish enough to believe the descriptions that were displayed on the Asian pieces and the purity of some silver pieces that I purchased. I am not a seasoned collector. I only depend on the honesty of people; especially those associated with a “Christian” charity.

Tom Preston: Prices are too high, often higher than the antiques shops in the neighborhood. No bargains unfortunately. And reductions are not per standard consignment shops- only 20% every 60 days instead of every 30 days. Not sure how they stay in business TBH.

A. Greenough Dodd: Huge fan of this nonprofit consignment shop (aka The "Op Shop"!) that benefits the needs of DC area children. Always great finds, but definitely allow time to peruse the many items. Well-worth the search!

Angela Van: Clean and organized decor consignment purchase structure (can see how the price drops by date). Always find something when I go in. Unfortunately, they just re-organized downstairs so the bulk is upstairs--no elevator.

Jonathan Fuhrman: Nice place for antiques. Everything has a date it came in and gets marked down every month. Prices are a bit high, but not outrageous.

DIOR Washington DC City Center: what do users think?

Chau Tran: I have great experiences shopping at Dior City Center. The Client advisor was very friendly and helpful to show me many options and give my useful tips.

Josh: The Dior Washington DC City Center staff member Miss Marika Dixon provided excellent service; was unbiased, unassuming and most importantly, kind She looked after my daughter and I as we perused the line of belts they had available on-hand. The store was well stocked when we visited. The staff was managing social distancing as much as they could as they balanced the long queue of clients waiting to enter. Thank you.

Jonathan Paik: Needed to return an item and also view several others before purchasing on an extremely busy day, Mother’s Day. Paul got us in out of the cold ahead of our appointment time and gave us expert advice and support. We happily made a purchase and will definitely be back. Thanks so much Paul and the other staff at this DC location !

A Gralto: Went here today and it was my first time in a Dior boutique on the east coast, and Marika greeted me as soon as I walked in. She was very helpful and educated on all the pieces I wanted to look at and try on. Very impressed with her customer service and it was a beautiful store!!!

Ofelia Gaitan: The gentleman at the front with security was pleasant, however, Kat was just horrible! I was about to buy an item and had taken my card out but Kat made it seem as what I was buying was worthless. I had every intention of buying the item but her attitude dissuaded me in every which way. It’s no surprise there were other shoppers refusing to shop with her and complaining about her lack of customer service.

Evie Nguyen: The male associate with bigger build and mustache and white T-shirt was extremely judgemental and rude to our group. He would follow us very closely every step of the way and stared at us throughout the whole time as if we wanted to steal anything?? Being watched made us feel so uncomfortable (it’s very different from when a sales associate is following to take care of the customer. This guy was outwardly judgemental and wanted us to leave). After 3 mins in the store he asked if we wanted anything, and I said we were just looking around, so he said “Yeah well thanks for shopping with us” (??). We weren’t even done looking at the items yet, and being told that made us not want to buy the bags any more. Please train your associate better and not to judge people based on how they look. I have seen several reviews with the same experience here so I’m sure this is not my own personal issue. Working in a luxury store doesnt make you better than anyone.

taemin’s soy un dorito: my girl friends and i walked in the store with items in mind that we were absolutely gonna buy. but we were greeted with an absolute worst attitude ever from a male sale associate. as if he was gatekeeping everything we wanted to look at. one of my girl friend asked him about a bag, she even showed him the picture from dior official website, we got nothing but a cold and unprofessional response from him “i have never seen this bag before, and we don’t have it” he didn’t even bother checking the inventory or show how to find this bag. i was going to get the black saddle bag, but if this man works on commission, then i’m not going to and didn’t give him any from my purchase. please work and trained your sale associates better, don’t show any discrimination in their service. my girl friends and i can see it very clearly from how they treated customers based on their outer appearance. this is not the first time we stopped by this boutique and shopped.

Tiff Cruz: They have the best service and quality in the DC Center. Everyone is friendly even the security guard at the entrance. They had a lot of variety in comparison to Gucci and Louis near by. Ramez is the best! Knowledgeable and professional. 10/10

Joe Kim: Fei was patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Excellent service and detail from her and Ryan. Thank you for making the visit special.

Mohammad Mukati: Great staff really helpful and an amazing store. Perfect Sunday visit.

Target: what do users think?

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Very nice and clean store parking available in the basement, Only problem always low on the food inventor and produce and grocery.

Cliodhna MacFadden: We purchased the Element 65” TV, and after 3 days the backlight broke. We tried everything to fix it. Without a box or receipt in hand, we brought it back to see what may be possible to do. Associates TK, Nicole S, and Anton were able to use the debit card used to purchase to look up my receipt to get our return sorted. We so appreciate them going truly above and beyond to show us their compassion and excellent customer service.

Jasmine Thomas: Mobile Tech Has A Rude Raspy Voice Lady Working There. Ms.Kathy Is Extremely Unprofessional & Doesn’t Know What She Is Talking About. She Lied & Told Me That An AT&T Phone Was Unlocked. The Phone Wasn’t Unlocked & I Was Trapped In A Contract. I Explained To Her That I Wanted A Unlocked Phone & She Insisted On Telling Me The Phone I Bought Full Price Was Unlocked, Yet I’m Getting Stuff In My Email Saying I Have A Contract That I Have To Pay Off My Phone. Her Attitude Is Stank & She Never Has Her Mask Up On Her Face. Columbia Heights Target Do Better, Her and Her Unprofessional Ways Are Bringing Your Company Down Tremendously. I Will Be Reaching Out To Corporate!

Shayna Deverman: Dirty, unorganized, extremely low stock on everything. Items thrown everywhere, picked over. Shoe isle was a disgrace. Nice they have an “Ulta”, but very limited items. Took me several minutes to figure out where body wash was. Haircare, travel, makeup is all grouped together in the front/middle-like typical but body wash/deodorant was clear on the end of the store. Terrible flow. All that looking and they had very limited washes! Men’s selection had more to choose from. Went in there with a very basic list and got one thing on it… my nearest Walgreens was more helpful…disappointing since I love me a Target trip. I won’t be back to this one.

Adah Deveaux: This review is for the starbucks within target. My drinks were great but a little of a wait. The actual target was customary.

Thomas Nali: NO PARKING VALIDATION Poor inventory. This is on a regular old Monday. I asked for the product I was looking for, they checked in the back, and said it was too hard to get to and another employee would work on it, but they don’t know how long it will be. This was at almost noon. Look at how few dairy products are on the shelf. Staff continued to prove unhelpful. I asked four different employees where a type of product was and they each told me to find someone who worked in that dept. OR they just told me they “probably don’t have it” WITHOUT even looking or bothering to find where it should be!! They tried to walk off but I said I am not satisfied until we find the shelf where it should be, and I’ve been looking for fifteen minutes. Took all of that to get some help finding one little thing.

Sade Wilson: I was shopping today at the Washington D.C target store and was purchasing gift for my family I found some nice things and for a really good price. I went to check out and the items were ringing up different from what the price was upstairs I explained to the cashier he called for a manager. The manager name tiffany came and refuse to change the price the for two of the items but change it for the other too items. I continue checking out because I didn’t want to wait to long after I was done checking out I went upstairs to take pictures to show the manger she still refuse and walk away.

Donna Walker: Buyers we aware the prices in Target are going up every week and its terrible and make sure you know the prices of your items because the shelf price and the register price can be different at times. Security was following me for no reason so I had t let him know you are following the wrong person. I catch more people stealing at Target and I do not work there. Also, some of the employees are so rude. I will be recording my conversations with the employees when I need to ask for help as proof of how rude some of them can be.

Goodwill of Greater Washington Retail Store: what do users think?

Reanna Rousseau: I have to say very disrespectful management at this location. The staff was lovely and helpful but the short light skin women manager with the face piercings, with her mask underneath her nose gave me the worst experience I have ever had at goodwill. Her regional needs to have her replaced ASAP. You can’t make your own rules at your store that’s not in policy. You can get fired for things like that and she must be reported. This is a store where they take free items and mark them up for “Goodwill” to sell to the people in the community who can’t afford the regular priced items. If you are over pricing the item you are basically doing a disservice to the community.

Zh Ie: Purchased online from this location. The staff was amazing on checking the condition of the item after purchase, and as an added service on their end, they sent a few extra close-ups even after I had purchased, which was not necessary, but so appreciated that they thought to do that. Above and beyond service, and extremely customer-service oriented.

Kim Barr: I found some lovely things there the staff was very helpful and definitely check out the colors of the week sales. I was able to get a 15.99 suit for 3.99 because of the colors of the week sale.

Franklin Owens III: I was there for clothing… but I can never pick out clothing in a thrift store, so I left with books. The store was well organized though. I tend to be a bit uncomfortable buying items out of thrift stores. I didn’t care much for the clothes. But there were other items in the home section were really nice. Everyone was nice in the thrift store. Even when I gathered a cart full of books and then realized I couldn’t use my clothing voucher on books😬😅

bluslushii: Been to multiple Goodwills, the staff was by far the most helpful and I honestly received the best customer service I did at any business. Definitely will be returning! Thank you so much ladies for being so kind and helpful!

Target: what do users think?

Sassy Sauce: This store opened a couple years ago and it’s always nice and clean. The day I went after work the store must have just received a truck because there were boxes of product on most of the aisles. But this store is generally very clean and organized. This isn’t a normal sized target though, it’s definitely smaller and has more of a convenient store type feel. But all of the normal Target staples are still there. There is parking under the store and it’s accessible using the escalators or elevator. There is a Starbucks as well. It’s a great store to visit!

Amreen Shafiuddin: poorly managed target.. no one knew answers for anything. customer service was poor. stocking issues in all the aisles. boxes everywhere.. the food items especially bread section don’t have best before stickers on them. when questioned, they just saw each other faces. poorly managed.

Mysiki X Valentine: Whoa! Let me begin on a positive. There is a cashier (older Black woman) Joan, who is the most pleasant staff worker. However, the younger staff can often be found tucked away on phones, having side conversation and etc..so finding help is always difficult. In addition, the customer service could never be described as friendly. But it does not end there, this is one of the worst Target’s I’ve ever went shopping. The store shelves stay empty. I recently order Beats headphones online for pick-up, I was emailed saying my order was ready—but when I got to the store the manager cancelled my order, stating the item was not in the store. Long behold, I walked to the back and there sat 3) pairs of the same item I came to pick-up. Her attitude was out of this world, I couldn’t believe she worked in customer service. No matter what time of the day, the aisles have carts full of products yet to be put away. Makes the store seem chaotic and disorganized. If it’s a quick stop, I’d advise going elsewhere. Looking to do serious shopping, never stop here. To end on a positive the food section is normally well stocked and presented nicely.

Kareem Carter: Lets start by saying I am appreciative of having a Target in this area of DC. The parking facility is safe and well lit, the store was reasonably stocked and clean. My gripe is with the professionalism of the management and the completely ineffective way they run the checkout line. they funneled everyone through one line and when several customers skipped the single line and went straight to the register, they were allowed to do so.....causing frustration to the other customers in the line. This was brought to the lead employees attention and she sarcastically dismissed my frustration. They should really signage up on how the checkout line works!

Erin Truax: I have been to this Target a few times because it is the most convenient for me (and parking is easy) but I always leave feeling very frustrated. There are constantly boxes of inventory waiting to be unpacked that are blocking the aisles and many shelves are often missing product. I have shopped at different times and on different days, but this seems to be on ongoing issue for this location. If you’re able, I recommend a different location.

J Por: Went in for some quick toys for my nieces and nephew. Turned in to their Loss Prevention racially profiling my partner, and followed us around the store the entire time for 60 dollars worth of merchandise, part of which, we had to find an employee to get. We initially went in to make a return, and unfortunately had the idea to shop the last bit of our list. Workers letting people (guy in a blue hoodie was wearing a red shirt so possible employee?) walk around without a mask even though DC has a mandate, and the stores inventory is always in the way. Should have been more concerned following him to give him a mask instead of two people who were in your store less than 25 minutes. Overheard an employee talking about managers asking the team to get tested because of a potential positive employee. Overall, the worst experience I’ve had by far. I’ve been a consistent customer for three years, but no more. This location is best avoided. Trust me.

livingmytruth 2: Joan has the best customer service ever. I came in this location with my 98 year old grandma and she made my grandma feel sooo good and proud and she really has a positive attitude. Thank you for making my grandmother’s shopping experience so pleasant . I will actually make this my home store now because of her pleasant demeanor

Aaron Blackmon: Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go to a Walmart that is all red and has Target signs? Well wait no longer! This will fit the bill. The validated parking is a mess. The store is never stocked but simultaneously stocking everything at once and the lines are NEVER open. I only went there after learning my initial lesson months ago because it’s so close and I wanted to get a few things but even still it wasn’t worth it.

Unique: what do users think?

Abi Maghamfar: A place to donate unwanted items and buy used items from furniture to toys to kitchenware, clothes, shoes, books, DVDs, etc at reasonable prices. If you buying toys, puzzles and games or anything that have multiple pieces, makes sure all pieces are there as this has been one of the disappointing aspects of buying stuff here. The other disappointment is the lack of organization and cleanliness of the facility. Love the idea of recycling and reusing rather than sending them to the wasteland and Unique provides that opportunity.

Alice L.: Unique Thrift is a for-profit enterprise owned by Savers, which is owned by a private equity firm in the Seattle area. It is NOT a charity shop and does not donate its profits to charity. Their website clearly states: "Shopping in our stores does not support any non-profit." The company says it purchases donated items from some local non-profits; however, it does not release details on these buying deals. The company is large and owns many thrift stores around the country. I mention this because there are true charity shops in the area--including Goodwill, Urban Thrift, Salvation Army, church shops, etc.--that are actually charities and donate their profits to charity. Some of the real charity shops are even run by volunteers working for no pay in order to help the cause. A lot of people seem to think Unique is a charity and the attorney general in Minnesota has in the past accused this company of misrepresenting how much it gives to charity. So if you have lovely and near-new items to donate, I highly suggest donating them to authentic charity shops. I frequently shop the charity shops, but I also shop at Unique. Unique Thrift is still a worthwhile place to shop and I have found many nice items for good prices. It is pretty well managed and prices are marked clearly. The merchandise is generally clean and not damaged, although you have to examine your items carefully. There are 7-day exchanges but only for clothing and shoes. Be very careful buying anything else that might have defects, such as luggage, electronics, furniture, etc. Some items do have hidden damage so you have to look carefully. There are discounts here on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays only so those days tend to be crowded.

JJ Edwards: Its a huge thrift store, as afar as I know and for so many thrift store I had visited this is my favorite one. They have huge selection of clothes, shoes, toys, books, furniture, kitchen ware and many more. Worth to check out!

Sara O'Brien: I have been going to this place for years and always felt welcome, but today was the worst experience of my life. We were in line for self checkout, when I saw that register 18 was open, as I proceeded with my daughter to the register the woman that was in charged of self checkout named Charika told us, "come here because I cannot see what you ring there." We walked to the register that she told us and as I scanned this woman stands there staring at us scan each item. I was already getting upset because she was staring at us scan as if we were the only customers there or as if we were thieves. After scanning 7 items this woman proceeds to approach my bag and count the items that I had placed inside the bag to make sure it matched the amount of items on the screen. I felt that we were being treated as thieves. I got so upset, I asked for the manager, but she said no one was available, so I took a picture of her ID card. This woman stood staring at our register until we finished ringing every item as if we were thieves. People go to the thrift store for many reasons, but in no moment should they be harassed by anyone. This store needs to train its employees to be courteous and not target people

li garcia: Good thrift store. Nice selections of everything. All staff and personnel are nice and friendly except for the old lady at the register. Very mean ! Unfriendly! And the voice specially when she’s on the speaker. She’s always mad and unhappy person. I’m sure I’m not the only one noticing it!

Ariel S.B.: My favorite thrift store! Yeah, some of the prices are just a little bit higher than your average goodwill, but the quality of items is so much better. I’ve seen brand new items from designer stores, sometimes with the tags still on them. Stuff is actually trendy and cute and not dated. They have clothes in every size, the selection is huge! Definitely visit if you’re looking to revamp your wardrobe.
