This person has now gained access to all of my personal information. According to the director of Human Resources Linda Page they are aware of this due to other people calling however, they have failed to immediately remove this posting. They claim to be working through the issue but the post remains on indeed representing the corporation.

Rgammache1: Monumental is my first choice for my projects—large and small because they are so responsive and attentive to task details and reviews. For us they were primary contractor for rebuild of our house after tree fall through the house. They also helped design ADA improvements to the house. We plan on further external and internal projects on our rental property. They coordinate well with other specialty contractors and permit authorities. Their office team, project managers and supervisory staff are very courteous and attentive. They also are proactive when requirements change. It is a pleasure to recommend Monumental.
Caroline Kreutzer: We had Monumental Contractors replace all of our doors in the house. Gilbert was our main contact and he was easily accessible and very easy to work with. Our quote was less than competitors, but the quality and service was amazing. They listened to what we needed and worked within those constraints. Amanda Ampey: Just take my (and every other reviewer) word, this is the company you want to hire. I interviewed and got estimates from 8 others. J&E exceeded them all with quality and communication (the 2 things that should matter the most to giant projects). Sarah listened to EVERYTHING, and even better.... the general contractor Shay then listened to every concern or question I had and explained it always in a way that I was happy with (never talked above my expertise or brushed me off). Areas of excellence: communication, planning (ways to save or do cheaper but not cut on quality of installation), tile work (installer was a true artist and craftsman), plumbing work (very nice guy that knew his craft, duct work (ran into slight problem not expecting and he was done before I came home to check), drywall work (our original walls were horribly unlevel/uneven...not sure what magic they did but drywall smooth and secure). I plan to hire them again for next big project. It was a joy working with J&E. I had all new windows and French doors installed In an upstairs sunroom complete w a Juliet Balcony. This included all new insulation,drywall, and painting. Beautifully completed w lots of help w design. Merlino Construction also replaced all the old siding on the back of my house with Hardy Plank as well as painted the entire outside of my brick house in the front. Especially in the current times with labor shortages and supply chain issues, the KCG team completed our project quickly and efficiently! The best part was that they were able to complete 80% of the work while we were out of town during the December holidays. They kept us updated daily with pictures that showed us the progress. In total, we were able to complete the project in 4 weeks. I would highly recommend KCG for any significant home improvement project you are looking to take on! They dont send the price for a long time. After a lot of calls they send the price after 6 months. Their price is almost double to other contractors. They decieved me with their sales person and went to the contract. Their people hardly came ontime. They complained that they are not being paid intime. So they didnt care.

Big Brajole: Agree with other posts about unrealistic estimates. KCG estimate was five times more than other contractors for the identical work order. Frustrating people to deal with as well. On several interactions the KCG rep would listen to and agree with my requests, only to ignore them and attempt to do something superfluous to increase cost. I parted ways with them quickly.

Karma Home Designs is truly and all around general contractor and remodeling service. They have the specialists and tradesman for any type of job, whether it be an out door living space and a new deck, that addition and finished basement you have always wanted, or a whole home build or remodel. Karma has everyman for the job. The best part about working with Karma is that they are actually located right in DC! Kris, one of the owners has been doing construction in DC for over 20 years, the management at Karma has over 50 years combined. They are true professionals who pride themselves on treating their customer fairly and giving them the results they deserve. it has been a pleasure working with them on several projects and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for great design, quality products, and unbeatable price and value.
Miles Jackson: I’m pretty sure the positive reviews are fabricated. I’m not sure where these estimate numbers come from, but it sure isn’t reality. I would recommend having them come out and give an estimate so you can laugh and waste their time because it will be done to you. Example. I have a 20 sqft bathroom with 7 ft ceilings. They gave an estimate of $5,000 for replacing sink with a pedestal, replacing the toilet, and new tile. A toilet-$100, a sink $150, and 2 cases of tile-$70, where does $5,000 come from? Let me reiterate, A 20SQFT BATHROOM, do you know how small that it is, mind you this price doesn’t include materials just labor. Quick math- this company would charge me $250 a sq foot, that’s more than the value of the house. That’s just one estimate, I have many more! But I think you can see the rip-off in this one example. STAY AWAY! If you use them I promise you will be completely overcharged and they will laugh at you for being todays idiot.

Rex Hung: Bonn Group America is a family-operated company I hired to replace a very old concrete deck attached to my DC rowhouse. The project manager and primary point of contact, McBonn, is very responsive and attentive, and a pleasure to work with. His father provides design background for the team. Over the days leading to and during the project, McBonn was very communicative and gave daily updates. Prior to beginning work he was able to provide very detailed itemized quotes for construction. The quality of the work is excellent and the team was efficient, keeping to schedule minus unavoidable delays due to inclement weather. Every remodeling project has its hiccups and when I encountered one it was swiftly rectified. The pricing was neither the most nor the least expensive of the groups I interviewed. Overall I am very pleased with the work and communication, and would use their services again.

Aviva Rosenthal: We did a major design/build project with Landis on a historic home where we gutted and updated the existing interior and then added a large addition. They were simply amazing to work with. Super organized, trustworthy, on-time, high quality and the finished product is perfection. Many of our neighbors complimented us on such a courteous and efficient team during the renovation process -- when do you hear of that?? There were often up to 20 tradespeople working at the same time to get a long job done in exactly the time they said it would. Highly recommend Landis for large and complex projects.
Antoinette Sayeh: I first hired Landis in 2012 to restore significant damages done to my house. What they were able to do with my home completely surpassed my expectations. Joe Caw has been the project manager for each time that I have hired Landis and him as well as Ethan were always professional, respectful, and quality focused. I also hired Landis to do work on my basement and some exterior projects, and with both of them I got an incredible amount of value. I was particularly pleased with the all new bathroom they installed.
James Edmonds: We have hired Landis for various projects since 2006. From our backyard patio over garage and stone wall to our front steps and our rear room addition, they have done an extensive amount of work in our house. Carlos Marin was very skillful and professional with his carpentry work, and Ethan Landis made sure the process was smooth. They listen, are easy to talk to, responsive, interested in our home, and are proud of the quality of their work. They also have great coffee mugs!! They are sensitive to the architecture of the house as well, and they know how to apply research knowledge and experience to achieve the right look.
Erna Kerst: Landis has done two projects for us: expanding the house, with new kitchen and master bedroom, and later converting two porches into living spaces. Both times, we have been impressed by the quality of design and execution. The crews are really skilled, and good problem solvers when faced with structural issues. Schedules are met. Oversight is consistent and helpful. We are very happy with the results. Andrew Kerr, the project manager, and Ken Guillett are both very professional and skilled, and were a pleasure to have in our home.
Lucas Fischer: We hired Landis to do a full renovation of our house. They were able to provide with a wonderful finished product in just 6 months, everything from our driveway to our attic was renovated on some level. We added a new kitchen and master bedroom and the whole thing is beautiful - the kitchen of my dreams! Landis is professional and easy to work with - always responsive and willing to talk through an issue or a change during the work. Neighbors also appreciated the attention to community. Carlos Rodriguez was here everyday and paid attention to everything, as well as tidying up every night - he even went around with flyers to all the neighbors before work started to let them know who they could contact if they had an issue. Landis also stands by their work - our retaining walls started to lean after three years and they came back and re-did them after determining the cause of the problem. I would highly recommend Landis for any your reconstruction needs.
Felix Paredes: I have been working with Landis for about 10 years, doin many types of construction from concrete footing to roof reworking and everything in between. The quality of work that I do for Landis is top notch. You always know that when you are working with them you get professionalism and an amazing finished product. Katrine Eik: This is the second time we used Landis for the house remodeling. The first one was kitchen back in 2015. This time around, it was a bigger project, adding a new room on the third floor of our town house. We could not be happier for everything they have done. The house remodeling is stressful. Not everything goes perfectly. In that sense, one gets frustrated, but that’s the nature of the house remodeling. They are first and foremost very professional. They try to keep the schedule and budget. They think for us, instead of just getting a job done quick. Stated differently, we trust them, which probably the most important element of picking a general contractor.

We brought them a very large project and have been very impressed with how timely the work was completed! When they gave us a timeline for when we might expect the work to be finished, they really meant it! Not to mention, everything turned out absolutely beautifully! Plus, the process, although quite cumbersome and very time intensive, was actually relatively fun and made enjoyable and easy to manage by the staff assigned to assist throughout the process. We will certainly be using Landis again and already have begun future project plans to do so :)

Alexandra Walker: We consulted with several design build firms in the fall of 2020 to build an outdoor living space for us. We chose Four Brothers based off of their reviews and portfolio; now that our project is complete, we are 100% confident that we made the right decision. From the moment our project began, we knew we were in the best of hands. We met with our architect (Kate) and designer (Nicole) several times to provide them with a sense of what we wanted. They instantly grasped our vision and were able to provide invaluable feedback and suggestions. Kate was insanely efficient at getting us through the oftentimes frustrating process of permits. She kept us in the loop and we truly felt we had an extraordinarily capable and professional advocate worrying about the big stuff so we did not have to. Once the project began, exactly when they said it would, our head site manager, Manny Lopez, took over and was a dream to work with. Manny kept us updated often, whether by text or weekly review/preview, with how things were going. I cannot underscore enough the level of professionalism that this company exudes on every level. Each subcontractor that came through did phenomenal work and when Manny himself did certain jobs, they were always completed skillfully and with the utmost care and detail. Like with any project, we did hit a few bumps, but they were always dealt with swiftly and professionally. The finished product quite literally turned out better than we imagined; we are beyond lucky to have found Four Brothers and would not consider ever using any one else. Mark Jackson: Four Brothers, LLC thoughtfully redesigned and skillfully performed a total renovation of our 1300 square foot condo in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood of DC. And they did it while we were absent; living and working in Africa. We followed their lead as they represented us getting building permits from the DC government. As 4 Brothers developed floorplans we received clear drawings and options to choose from via Internet and worked with them to fine tune the plan. As it came time to select materials we had a few preferences that 4 Brothers acted upon and in other cases, 4 Brothers provided us good options from which to choose. Communications flowed extremely well between DC and Africa. Throughout the project we trusted their recommendations on layout, materials, changes, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, flooring and a significant soundproofing effort. We were thrilled with the results. With Alfred as lead on construction, Tamar overseeing details of interior finishes and Ben as our interface, 4 Brothers employees and teams of high quality sub-contractors worked with small spaces, difficult access, challenging aspects of the original building design, and even cranky neighbors, to ensure that our condo would be ready for occupancy when we returned from Africa. Each of the Four Brothers team members made us feel that our job was their most important. As we worked together by email and phone calls to make final decisions on infrastructure and finishing, and to accommodate our desire for some unique features such as an acacia wood bar that we shipped from Africa (a later challenge for Alfred and Phil to install). 4 Brothers excellent design and craftsmanship was accompanied by good documentation, honest assessments, and cost estimates that did not grow. And they were waiting for us the Saturday morning of our return to the United States to introduce us to our totally new home. We enthusiastically recommend 4 Brothers, LLC.
Dan Citrin: Four Brothers designed and undertook a major renovation of our home, which included kitchen replacement, master bathroom expansion, master closet installation, attic renovation to install full bath and guest suite, and install front portico. We are very pleased with the entire experience and outcome, starting with the architect Kate, the project supervisor Kent, and the site manager and chief carpenter/builder James. A great team to work with, highly professional, talented and responsive. As in any project of such a magnitude, unforeseen problems are unavoidable. Anne Fiala: We worked with Four Brothers on two projects and are very happy with the results. We hired them to renovate the kitchen in our Capital Hill row house after seeing the work they did for a friend. From the first visit to get an estimate through the final walk-through, our experience with Four Brothers was wonderful. A few years later, we hired them again for a full basement renovation. The Four Brothers team helped us with all aspects of our jobs, including the design. They delivered a finished kitchen that was just what we wanted - a modern kitchen with a historic appeal. The basement was transformed from a dark, dank storage area into a spacious family room with lots of light. The quality of their work is top-notch and they were very responsive to any requests or concerns we had as the project progressed. Throughout the process, the whole team at Four Brothers was professional, courteous and very accessible. Their price might be a bit higher than other contractors but the level of service and quality is worth the cost. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

The two jobs spanned a year and the entire Four Brothers team were courteous, efficient, communicative, and provided excellent craftsmanship and professionalism. They were on budget and on time. They were even really nice to our dog, Weezie! We cannot recommend them highly enough.
