Louis Paniccioli: One of the best life-changing experiences I have is my time as a part of the American Association Of People with Disabilities. With its encouraging and supportive staff, participants, and equally excellent programs, this fantastic organization is a gateway of abundant opportunity and advancement for people with disabilities everywhere.

National Disability Rights Network (NDRN): what do users think?

Harris: IMHO, THIS ORGANIZATION DEPRIVES THE MOST SEVERELY INTELLECTUALLY DISABLED OF THEIR RIGHTS IN FAVOR OF HIGHER FUNCTIONING PERSONS. INSTEAD OF PROTECTING THE VERY VULNERABLE, THEY BRING UP FRIVOLOUS LAW SUITS THAT VERY OFTEN HAVE NO MERIT, AND BRING GREAT HARM OR HIGH RISK OF HARM TO THE PROFOUNDLY DISABLED.

Anya PH: It's a great place! Good national and international conferences and trainings, provides services to lawyers and advocates for an often disenfranchised part of society. I've volunteered for one of their annual meetings. Hard-working and conscientious Deputy Executive Director for Legal Services and General Counsel (disclaimer: I'm related to this person and have direct experience about the 13-hour days he works, sometimes even on weekends).

Tim Guilford: Fantastic organization dedicated to enabling people with disabilities.

D.C. Department on Disability Services: what do users think?

Victor Salcedo: Overpromises I will tell you they speak a good game but help yeah they will not help you. To be honest, they will take your information like tax documents shred the paperwork to use you as a statistic to get more funding by the government. Do not waste your time and if they ask for your taxes and paperwork do not give it to them you will not see it ever again. Told them to close my case because all mouth and zero action so what's the point of having a program for people with disabilities. TBH they do not GAF about you, to them your a statistic just another number.

Lakina S. Edwards: Great service overall! It’s best to have an appointment beforehand. Every employee was polite, friendly and eager to assist and provide me services. In addition to receiving the best services from my assigned Caseworker, Mrs. Trunk, I feel confident- more than ever! - with the missions and goals that she has encouraged & inspired me to accomplish. Thank you, DDS for providing me great services!

Deaf HustleBTC: They are so unprofessional in ways of supporting people with disabilities to obtain jobs. They provide very little resources no matter how many times I have tried to work with them. I can now see why this department on disability is failing so many of us to be able to lead a quality lifestyle and be part of a work force.

Elizabeth Shokunbi: I thought I was the only one experiencing issues with this department. They don't return calls then they have no plan in place as to help. Plus they keep calling us to come back to their office. I'm really frustrated with them and about to file a lawsuit against the department. Such a bunch of incompetence. They need to let the mayor know if their caseload is such that they cannot return calls/emails within 24 to 48hours also.

Chandra Metts: This is the worst government agency I have ever dealt with. The caseworkers does not answer or return your calls for weeks at a time. Very unprofessional. The absolute worss

R.Titilope Odejimi: Trainings are usually very productive but, when the training exceeds a certain hours, there should at least be some form of refreshments.... At least water.

    G. Anthony Sims: Poor actuate service for person with Disability, Experience took (3) test , one conselor talk placement, she relocated, the End. Nothing therefore waste 8 months, I mean nothing.

Ronald Henderson: Stil waiting on my case worker to call me back its been week . Have. Anyone have anything ggoo to say about this place. No one is answering the phones.

Courtney Sneed: The Service be better for people with Disability need more effort and more and do more better and it’s helpful

Graciel Moya: I don’t recommend this service at all! I’ve been there and yet they don’t help at all. I rather not go there again

Elder & Disability Law Center: what do users think?

Joseph Howard: Consulted with Mr. Bullock regarding mental health issues for a family member, including guardianship. He did some research on my particular circumstances. Since he knew I was anxious, he called me back in the evening from his home. Very knowledgeable, very helpful. Seemed like he really cared about the situation I was going through. I would recommend Mr. Bullock and his firm to anyone.

Quanita Pokolo-Hassell: My consultation with Mr. Bullock was extremely helpful. He has a genuine desire to help and our initial meeting was not rush. He spent a considerable amount of time with me answering my many, many questions. Navigating benefits for my elderly father is a nightmare and it is so comforting to speak with someone who is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what my concerns are and is able to provide me with expert advice. I've already made headway with my fathers benefits only a week after meeting with Mr. Bullock. He's so awesome!

Katrina Johnson: I highly recommend Mr. Bullock because he is very knowledgeable with a great personality. During our meeting regarding care for my mother, I took three pages of notes full of the most helpful information received to date. He put me at ease and helped me create a plan. My sister and I are on our way to ensuring our mother is well cared for and has the best quality of life. I will definitely reach out to him again!

James Alford: Mr. Bullock is a compassionate and knowledgeable attorney. His expertise in the area of elder law is truly unrivaled. I worked with Mr. Bullock on a complex estate litigation which comprised three separate lawsuits in as many jurisdictions. Mr. Bullock and his team were able to respond swiftly to the needs of each case and consistently demonstrated extensive knowledge about the details of my case. I highly recommend him and would certainly work with him again.

Horacio Chacon: Attorney Bullock is the type of lawyer every client wants. His skill and hard work is outstanding and his customer service is outstanding. Mr. Bullock assisted my wife and brother in law to settle their parent's estate. He did a great job. I highly recommend Mr. Bullock.

Laura G: I called Mr. Bullock for advice for my mother and he was very personable and helpful in guiding me to my next steps in the planning process for my mother. He assisted me with ensuring that I had all the proper legal documents that she would need. And he referred me to a fabulous elder care consultant who was able to work with me regarding my mother's care. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing guidance regarding the care for their elderly loved one.

Debbie Wallach: Mr. Robert Bullock provided me with excellent legal and financial counseling and solutions to resolve my challenges related to estate planning, disability and financial negotiations. Mr. Bullock has extensive knowledge on both public and private resources to assist in overcoming challenges in these areas and developed an easy to follow step- by-step strategy for solutions. Mr. Bullock's legal and financial strategies for solutions reduced my concerns in light of difficult circumstances. I highly recommend Mr. Bullock’s legal and financial counseling to anyone needing help in financial estate planning and disability issues.

Adam Gleason: Mr. Bullock has been a great resource for my family and I. We recently experienced both medical malpractice and insurance issues. It helped our peace of mind knowing we had Mr. Bullock and his practice in our corner.

James Harvey: Speaking with Mr. Bullock was refreshing, honest and to the point, I was impressed with his knowledge and willingness to speak with me even thought he was running a little late for the all important dinner with the wife. Mr Bullock explained things so clearly and I honestly appreciate him and look forward to working with him in the near future.

peter K: Robert Bullock Esq. came highly recommended and over time, I appreciate his professionalism and his wit.

Nonpartisan Pedicab: what do users think?

Mandy Bush: Those with limited mobility can rejoice! Robert has got your back. He will drive you right up to thr monuments and can even bungee cord your chair or crutches to his cab! And he knows all the things about DC. It's incredible. Super nice guy. Genuinely cares about his clients and does what he can to make the visit more memorable. He even spent a few minutes trying to understand why my mobility is limited and how he can help next time! It's not cheap but it's worth it. Go at sunset if you can. ♡
Response: Thank you for your wonderful review, Mandy. I had a great time on tour with you and your kids.

Steve Miscavish: Our evening tour with Robert was the highlight of a great trip to DC with our little ones. We booked a (same day) tour to see the monuments at night. The tour far exceeded our expectations and ended up being our favorite part of the entire trip. Our kids had so much fun that they wanted to book another tour with Robert, but we ran out of time. We really enjoyed hearing the stories and the history behind the monuments and landmarks that we saw. Robert was super friendly, knowledgeable and patient, even when our kids were asking silly questions. We had a lot of fun and would highly recommend the tour with Robert.
Response: Thank you for your wonderful review, Steve. Questions from kids, whether silly or serious, always make for a fun tour. I’m so pleased you all enjoyed so much.

Ashley Pedersen: We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Nonpartisan Pedicabs in early April 2022. Robert and Bob took us on a tour of the monuments and memorials of the National Mall on one day, and then Pennsylvania Avenue and Capitol Hill the next day. They were extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, courteous, and fun! Robert knew just where to capture some beautiful family photos and both had significant insight into the area. It was wonderful for my children and my older parents to be able to get off their feet and just enjoy the surroundings. We saw much more than we would have been able to had we done it any other way. Robert was also very accommodating with the weather forecast, being willing to reschedule for more optimal weather. He was very willing to answer any questions I had about DC and gave advice on what to see and how to get there. In my opinion Nonpartisan Pedicabs is the ultimate way to tour DC, and we were very happy to be able to enjoy their tours. Thank you Robert and Bob!
Response: Thank you for a wonderful review, Ashley. Bob and I both enjoyed spending time on tour with your family. I am a pleased that everyone enjoyed so much.

Joe Leahy: Robert set up a great tour for our family and Don and Pat - our guides on bikes shared their expertise as former US History teachers from the area! This was the best way to start our week in DC. Both were informative, caring and helpful. We would do again!
Response: Thank you for your wonderful review, Joe. The pleasure was all ours.

Reginald Julius: May 5, 2022, Nonpartisan Pedicab Tour Prior to visiting Washington DC, I scheduled a Nonpartisan Pedicab tour. Our tour started from our Hotel, The District by Hilton. We had no plan of where we wanted to start. We had a discussion of which memorials we wanted to see. Robert our tour guide kept our desires in mind and our tour was underway. My wife and I quickly realized Robert is extremely knowledgeable of not only the monuments but also the history of Washington itself. We were able to stop and walk about each Memorial visited. Robert gave us a detailed narration concerning what we were about to visit. Our tour traveled the length of the National Mall ending at the White House. I highly recommend this tour as it proved to be informative by a very gifted guide. Thank You Robert for a fantastic day!! Our meal at The Old Ebbitt Grill was delicious.
Response: Thank you, Reggie, for a wonderful review. It was truly my pleasure to conduct your tour of Washington DC. I’m so pleased you and your wife enjoyed.

ketan vinod: My parents have difficulty walking long distances. Nonpartisan Pedicab was the perfect service to use specially around D.C. as you can't drive to those monuments. Robert was very and prompt to arrange pedicab for my parents. Robert shared detailed information on where to meet, park, guide details etc. Our guide Don was amazing, knowledgeable, friendly and punctual. My parents had a blast for 2 hours. I would say it was little steep from price point of view but it was worth it as we went there on Saturday evening around while Cherry blossom 🌸.
Response: Thank you, Ketan, for your wonderful review. I’m so glad that your parents were here just in time to see the Cherry blossoms in full bloom.

Kristi Frush: Customized and personalized exactly to your wishes in touring the main sights of Washington, DC! Don't hesitant to book!! Worth the cost... absolutely!!!! Robert was an excellent tour guide for my daughter, son-in- law and granddaughter. They were visiting from SC, so this was the perfect gift to them. Robert was so accommodating along with being the perfect guide with a wealth of information. My husband and I look forward to booking a tour for ourselves. Thank you, Robert!!!
Response: Thank you, Kristi, for your wonderful review. I had a great time on tour with your family. I’m so pleased everyone enjoyed so much.

karen jarvis: Pedicab was an AMAZING experience! SO worth the $plurge - we will remember it forever and have already begun sharing things we learned. Being able to view this grand place in the open (WITHOUT having to Walk!) is a treat. Robert was so kind and informative! We learned so much about the area, architecture and architects and truly saw hidden gems we would not have experienced without having done this wonderful tour. We HIGHLY recommend!
Response: Thank you Karen, for a wonderful review. Bob is an amazing guide, and I am glad you had an opportunity to tour with him. I am so pleased that you all enjoyed the tour so much.

Suzanne Suss: Amazing, 10 gold stars if I could. Family of four, busy day and ended up with a night tour of the monuments and cherry blossoms around tidal basin with Read, our tour guide. The owner, Robert, was so helpful and incredibly flexible in helping us plan where to be picked up, even suggested a great place to eat dinner early and several options for transporting into the city. Read was friendly, full of facts, stories, trivia, and made all of the info accessible for our kids. He even brought us right back to the Metro station at the end so we didn't have to walk back. I would absolutely book with them again the next trip, it's well worth the money to see everything and have the serenity of the paths around the basin.
Response: Thank you for your wonderful review, Suzanne. You were a great tour guest, and we hope to see you again on your next visit to Washington DC.

Pat Kennedy: This tour is perfect for someone who can't walk long distances. And the personalized interaction with Robert made it a real pleasure. We felt like VIPs be shuttled around in style through all the people walking around. Far better than your typical bus tour with everyone getting off, getting on, and listening to a canned narrative.
Response: Thank you so much, Pat, for your wonderful review. I am so pleased you enjoyed the tour.

Linda s: Great experience with CareMobile Transportation. Kelley responded to my inquiry for service immediately. As a new widow I needed transportation to and from a medical procedure requiring anesthesia. Kelley was prompt picking me up from home, waited the few hours at the facility, and returned me home safely. She greeted me with a beautiful smile and very upbeat and happy attitude. The van was new and clean. I am very pleased with this company and highly recommend it.

Edison Molina: Great experience using CareMobile Transportation! I could not recommend it with more accolades. Ms. Kelly and her Co. have helped us every time we have requested their services. Their services are professional, punctual, courteous, knowledgeable, great communication, easy billing, and most important they make you feel like a family member is providing the services by the personal attention given to the patient. My wife is at the Burke Rehab Center, and we have used their services many times, each time has been a pleasure and it is affordable! Great success and future awaits CareMobile Transportation!

Mary Cooley: We have used CareMobile Transportation to get my husband to and from several appointments since he came home from the hospital. Kelley provides friendly service that is efficient, timely and more reasonably priced than similar transport services that we have used. I would recommend CareMobile Transportation to anyone seeking wheelchair or other limited mobility transportation.

Susan Harris: CareMobile is a life saver for me. Kelley provides quick response, reliable service and communicates regularly during our trips. I highly recommend this company for it's reliability and caring service.

Marie Torres: Beware!!! Hand controls users. They had my car for 1 month. Just to transfer one hand controls to another car. It took them 3 weeks to notify me it didn't fit and that was after multiple attempts to contact them because they did not call me. They lied and gave excuses why a 2 hrs removal and a 4-8hr job took 1 month. As soon as I got the car it felt off and didn't feel comfortable going back. It was done incorrectly. I had to pay a temporary fix and a redue of the job. They acted like I owed them a favor but I paid for a service they failed to provide. Am out $2,166 because of their incompetence.

Joe Wojszynski: Sherry Jones put me in a new hybrid Sienna. Great vehicle. The Springfield VA office did a great job helping me with obtaining the VA title.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave this awesome review, Joe!

Kelly James-Haynes: Our family rarely writes reviews but this one is well deserved. Shelby N. was exactly what my family needed as we searched for an adaptable vehicle for my father. She was professional, knowledgeable of the various features in the vehicles and personable. She made time to answer questions about the vehicle after the purchase and made us feel like we had a personal contact at Mobility Works. If we could recommend her to another family, we certainly would. Thank you, Shelby, keep up the great work! The Haynes Family
Response: Thank you for taking the time to write this awesome review for us, Kelly!

Sam Brandt: MobilityWorks went above and beyond to help us find a used wheelchair van that met the needs of our 93 year old mother who still lives at home with the help of full-time caregivers. When we discovered that there were some technical issues with the van, they worked to ensure that they were all corrected. It is clear that they see their job as more than just a business, but rather, an opportunity to improve the lives of individuals who would otherwise be hampered in their ability to get around and enjoy life. We recommend them highly, as great people seeking to help others.
Response: Thanks for this great review, Sam! We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us!

Chris Modesitt: Shelby is absolutely fantastic to deal with! A family member of mine needed wheelchair accessible van and Shelby was able to find us a perfect Chrysler Pacifica and while we waited for it to be complete they loaned us a Dodge Caravan for a week! They brought the van down for a demonstration and they even delivered the van when it was ready. You could not ask for more from this young lady. Her manager was also very nice and accommodating.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave this kind review, Chris!

Michelle Walton: Their Service Team was very thorough in teaching my family and I how to work the new Hand Control System in my 2007 Honda Odyssey. Mobility Works took extra time, before and after installation, to make sure they were doing the job right the first time. No one plans on becoming handicapped yet I'm thrilled they were there for me during my transition back into basic independence. They treated me with respect and decency by preserving my dignity. Thank you for a job well done! FOLLOW UP: After my Check Engine Light came on their team invited me back to do a diagnosis on their computer to make sure everything was in Safe Working Order. Their team definitely goes the extra mile to safeguard their clients. Well done Mobility Works! See you at the next Maintenance Interval.

    Charlie Corry: Great professional staff.
Response: Thank you for taking time to leave this awesome review for us, Charlie!

Heather: Charles was very helpful in getting the perfect accessible van for my family. He was upfront an honest about the costs. Luckily we got a really nice van within our budget. Charles came out to our home and did measurements and worked with my schedule as I am a caregiver for more than one person. He is extremely friendly and helpful.

Peter Savery: Came in to get a checkup on my mobility equipment a n d got an oil change as well. All done and everything working well. People were very helpful.
