El Cielo: what do users think?
Hannah Ongman
Hannah Ongman: This was the most incredible culinary experience of my life. My partner and I partook in “The Journey” with an additional anniversary drink special, and we were absolutely blown away from start to finish. I can’t name a single dish or step we didn’t thoroughly love, and we kept agreeing that many of these dishes were the best “X” (soup, gnocchi, eggplant, etc.) we had ever tasted. We are both vegetarian, and the thoughtful shifts in menu items to accommodate us were incredible. Each and every dish (and cocktail!) was crafted to perfection and the staff were extraordinarily kind and accommodating. I will absolutely come here again to see what other magic the brilliant chef and staff create, and would encourage anyone considering a splurge to indulge in this experience.
Rebecca Chapin
Rebecca Chapin: Absolutely fantastic, my new favorite restaurant in DC! We’ve been twice and each time our meal was extremely creative with amazing flavor. The valentines special had some extra surprises that I won’t spoil here. As a Colombian restaurant, the menu isn’t quite like any other fine dining in DC. Expect chewy tapioca flower bread and seafood as staples. The portions are good, if you have a small stomach you might have to ration space. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The only area of improvement I could think of is the meal timing. Some courses had a bigger wait between them than seemed intended. For me food comes first though, and the food is fantastic, so the timing isn’t a big deal.
Response: Thanks so much for your opinion and support.
Kevin A
Kevin A: My girlfriend and I dined here mid June 2022. We had an amazing time. Each and every dish was delicious and so flavorful. Well worth the price tag. Four and a half hour experience. All of the staff were excellent. Top notch service. The wine pairing was fabulous and so were the cocktails. Best dining experience we’ve ever had. If you’re thinking about it, highly recommend, it is worth the memorable experience.
Alex Loja
Alex Loja: Amazing Colombian experience, El Cielo is so much more than just a restaurant; It is an experience that everyone have to live. Chef Juanma, chef Sebastian, their entire kitchen team and dining room team make every second unique. Every bite, every glass of wine & every breath are new emotions. And the story behind gastronomy is authentic. Thank you all, it has been an honor to be able to visit you and live the experience El Cielo⭐️🇨🇴
Rouben Gregorian
Rouben Gregorian: As the name suggests, this is one of the most amazing dining experiences in the DC area. Unlike other restaurants of this caliber, El Cielo truly takes you on a culinary tour around Columbia. The food is superb, the drinks are one of a kind, and the experience is literally equivalent to a show. The presentations are incredible, and the staff do an amazing job of letting their love for the food show as they present each dish with its own unique story.
Response: thank you for you review, we are so grateful to have received such recognition from our wonderful customers. We´d love to see you next season when we update our menu
J Iwatsubo
J Iwatsubo: Incredible experience. My partner and I are absolute foodies and truly enjoyed our experience here. We were mind blown with the chef with every single dish, enjoyed the staff, and overall had a blast celebrating our anniversary. We are so excited to come back :)!!!
Response: Thank you for your support! We are gracious to receive such a compliment. We would love to serve you again soon!
Patrick Slack
Patrick Slack: I wish I could give this more stars. This was such a lovely, playful, and delicious meal. The waitstaff was so lovely and absolutely made our evening. My girlfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and they went all out to help us celebrate. Many thanks to everyone for such a wonderful meal, experience, and memory
Response: Thanks so much for your review and support!

La'Colombiana Restaurant & Lounge: what do users think?
Jose Guzman
Jose Guzman: Worst Bandeja Paisa ever! Everything was cold I rather to bite my chancla instead of the steak! For the price they charge for it, I was expecting something better! First and last time I order something from this place
Nury Criollo
Nury Criollo: Walked in, only 1 other table had people in it sat down and waited about 10 mins before someone came to ask if we were ok and took our drink order and was told since the food was fresh it would take probably 20 mins for food to come out. Once we got those we placed an order to a picada. Waited about 1hr and got a small place of chicken pieces, 5 chorizo pieces a couple beef ones on top of romaine lettuce with some yuca. Horrable service plate not worth the $25 it was advertised for ESPECIALLY when half the stuff on the menu wasnt even served.
Jan Leon
Jan Leon: Very generous portions of food for a good price. They also do Uber Eats and other delivery services.

Ritchie's Colombian Restaurant: what do users think?
katrina wong
katrina wong: Food was soooooo good. Tasty. Even the white rice tasted so so good. Must have added some sort of taste. Ppl are friendly. Very authentic Columbian food.
Alu Hall
Alu Hall: Colombian Food. This place was a little hard to find and parking was a pain. The customer service wasn’t that great. The food was okay, I wouldn’t give it 5 stars. But if you’re looking for Colombian food come check this place.
Maria Tromp
Maria Tromp: Originally born in Colombia I can honestly say this restaurant truly offers authentic Colombian food. I was amazed by the decor , but was truly eager on trying the delicious food. The perro caliente brought me back to my hometown Barranquilla, when I used to enjoy them . The Sopas de Cola reminds me of the soup my mom makes ❤️ . Not only was the food incredibly delicious and authentic , but the service provided by the owners was incomparable to any service I have received in a family owned business. I’m summary , if you’re trying to get transported to the delicious food and service provided in Colombia , this restaurant is a MUST !
S. K. Hill
S. K. Hill: Definitely a great Colombian restaurant. Since I am a frequent traveler to Colombia, I can appreciate delicious Colombian food while at home in the DMV.
D'Atra Montgomery
D'Atra Montgomery: All in all, this was a good experience. We tried the Ropa Vieja, Carne Asada, Chicharrones and empanadas. First time having Colombian food in Maryland and it was a nice experience, however I wish the menu was laid out better. I’m sure if you’re use to the language or food , it’s not a big deal. However I’m thinking of people who are looking to try something new and want to branch out!
Ronak Patel
Ronak Patel: Friendly employees and great service. Not to mention the really nice empanadas. The decor of the restaurant is also very cool. I’d recommend coming here to try some good Colombian food.
Erick Hensen
Erick Hensen: Excellent food, I already went there 3 times. Is the best Colombian restaurant in the DMV. Try the bandeja paisa, sobrebarriga or the beans casserole.
Vanessa Valencia
Vanessa Valencia: Awesome, authentic Colombian Food! The portion sizes are HUGE and it has really good flavor! The owners are very friendly and the service was fast. We found a new gem💎💎 in MD! 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋

La Fonda Paisa: what do users think?
Suradee Thongkiattikul
Suradee Thongkiattikul: If you want a simple breakfast fare at a local bodega, then this is it. This is a very unassuming place where the breakfast staple is the humble egg with some rice and beans and maybe chorizo on the side. We tried the cheese arepa and it was a bit dry, but their empanadas were pretty good (chicken and beef). You can browse the rest of the market while you wait for your food to be prepared, they have a fairly decent selection of snackage. The place is clean and the staff were friendly. We tried one of the dessert pastry and it was a bit stale, yet still surprisingly delicious.
Laura Alexandra
Laura Alexandra: This place is the best! Great service, delicious food and it has a very large variety of products! I ordered buñuelos, Colombian tamales, hot chocolate, Mojarra Frita and one Picada. And everything tasted like home back in Colombia. They have potato chips chicken flavor, choclitos, Colombian coffee, corn flour and so many other Colombian products. They also have Colombian candies like frunas, barriletes, many kinds of bocadillo etc. I would return to this place for sure!
Stella Nino
Stella Nino: This place has somehow good aceptable soups but the rest of the food is very low quality. I just want to let people know that this is not real Colombian food. Empanadas are re- heated, arepas are dried and hard to swallow, the chicharrón is also dry and tasteless. Very negative experience. The only redeeming quality of this place is the market inside whee you can find some different Colombian goodies.
iz the truth
iz the truth: Delicious authentic Colombian breakfast
Leslie Garcia
Leslie Garcia: Please label your pastry so people can know which pastry to order. I waited in line and the pastry lady ignored me and continued to take the next customer because apparently I didn’t know what I wanted. How can I though? I’m not familiar with Colombian foods or pastry.
DAN D.
DAN D.: Nice Colombian market with great Colombian food and freshly made pastries. The aritopi, taco rolls, and empanadas are our personal favorites. The folks that work here are great!
Yinzú Nairouz
Yinzú Nairouz: Good place to find Colombian food and products, and some general latinos products. Check the expiration date in the products before buying.
William Escalona
William Escalona: I love this store because I can find many products from my country, but have a variaetty of them...
Brandon Restrepo
Brandon Restrepo: I hadn’t had ‘bandeja paisa’ since my last trip to Medellín. Was craving it big time and I must say La Fonda Paisa exceeded my expectations! Their BP is pretty authentic, so obviously very delish. Do try it and make sure you’re hungry - they’re very generous with their portions!
Jose Guerrero
Jose Guerrero: Nice little store with bread and Colombian products. Service is nice and food is good.

Q' viva!: what do users think?
Elisa Ferrante
Elisa Ferrante: Stopped by for lunch on a Sunday. The food is Colombian, just to avoid confusion. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. The staff super attentive and the food came out fast. The arepas were absolutely outstanding. I am looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu, which is super affordable by the way.
Oswaldo Embus
Oswaldo Embus: Good Colombian restaurant with a variety of dishes and specialties form other countries, they have Peruvian ceviche, Lomo, Mexican fajitas and Argentinian style steak. The majority of dishes are Colombian but it was nice to eat other country flavors at the same time.
Response: Thank you so much for this review,Oswaldo. We're very happy you enjoy dining with us. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Juan M
Juan M: We had a very bad experience on our last visit, server was very unprofessional, this was on Sunday February 23 at 1:00 pm. She didn’t explained us many things of our food, the menu is very inconsistent, we order also a side of yuca con chicharrón and it was a very small plate like a meal for kids and the worst is that it cost $10 dollars. At the end very unhappy of the service, she auto give her self $16.50 for tip, she didn’t even ask us how much we want to give her, we were only 3 adults, also the prices was very high and she double charge us for tax, I’m going to make a report on the General Consumer Protection Resources and also give a copy to the restaurant manager.
Response: Good afternoon I’m sorry you had this bad experience, taxes are not charged double it is the law the customer pays %6 food %9 liquor and we specify it on the bill.
rafael ospino
rafael ospino: We went there for New Year’s Eve. Long story short they were offering a special for 60$ that included dessert, main course, and “FREE SHOTS” as specified in their facebook page (See pic). Turns out only the first 3 shots were actually free. They did not let us know of this limitation until the very end, clever. The staff should have made us aware of this just to make sure that we were fine paying the “FREE SHOTS”. Dishonest business. Would not recommend it.
Response: Thank you for your review! the special was main course, dessert and champagne, shots were never included. The restaurant was giving house shot for free PER PERSON and not patron shots and of course not all night. you were not charged for the shots even though it was two of you so where is the dishonesty? I apologize for the miscommunication but you will never get endless shots for free in any restaurant
Justine Cowan
Justine Cowan: Great food and great service! I have been singing karaoke there for a few months now and always have a good time!
Nereo Mendoza
Nereo Mendoza: Try the empanadas, the food is good and the service is excellent, drinks are 16$ but good
E P
E P: First the good. Service was friendly and the place was clean. If you go when it is almost empty, like we did, you can probably get one of the few parking sports right in front. Has a nice patio. However, as friendly as the service was, they got part of our order wrong, and by the time they fixed it we were done with the rest of the food. The food was not good, empanadas and yuca were ok, but the beef tasted very old. The chorizos and morcilla were dry. Maybe an off day at the kitchen, but enough of a problem so that we will not be back.

The Royal: what do users think?
Jennifer Trent
Jennifer Trent: Absolutely beautiful covered patio, with heaters if needed, and fantastic service. Easy to order and pay through their QR code, and the food was the best we’ve had in a long time. The steak, gnocchi, and rockfish were all absolutely excellent!
Kayla N
Kayla N: I ordered the seared fish and the gnocchi, which were both AMAZING. The flavors, ingredients, every bite I had was so delicious. However, the only downside was the gnocchi was oversalted in my opinion. The decor, plants and design were a nice touch to the overall vibe of this restaurant. 2 notes to keep in mind as of writing this review: 1) There is no table service - you place your order online and the food will be delivered to you. 2) You will need proof of vaccination and ID to dine in.
Tina N
Tina N: We got the lox tartine, sausage egg & cheese sandwich, and egg & chorizo arepa. Good flavors all around. Will have to try their pastries next time!
Lauren G
Lauren G: This was my first time at The Royal. It was a nice experience. The staff was really nice, the food was delicious, and it looks like they are working hard to keep everyone safe during these covid times. The only challenge we experienced was when they tried to make it easy for people to split the bill electronically. We couldn’t really figure it out, but it all worked out. We all just paid for our own meals on our own phones. I had the Lox Tartine and we shared the Guava Pastry. Both were really good!
Aracely Hernandez
Aracely Hernandez: Absolutely best, authentic Colombian cuisine I’ve had in a very long time!! The customer service reflects the incredibly tasty menu - perfect combination for an amazing dining experience. It was my first visit - and a very memorable one. I’ll be coming a lot more to try the entire menu. I highly recommend Royal! I’m just so impressed and thankful to the staff who were amazingly attentive!
David Robinson
David Robinson: The only challenge we experienced was when they tried to make it easy for people to split the bill electronically. We couldn’t really figure it out, but it all worked out. We all just paid for our own meals on our own phones.
Fernanda Lanzagorta
Fernanda Lanzagorta: Great food and great portions. I loved the casual ambiance and the kindness of the people working there. For a Michelin star restaurant the portions are perfect. I’ll definitely come back to try more of their food.
Michael Cork
Michael Cork: Incredible ambiance and the food is delicious. Brussels sprouts are 🔥🔥🔥. Keeli makes the best cocktails in town
Hamdi Maher
Hamdi Maher: Their egg arepa was a great breakfast dish! The sauce it came with was also great, perfect amount of spice.

Aroma Cafe: what do users think?
Raul Pacori
Raul Pacori: I like this bakery because the breads are very tasty and they are homemade and everything is fresh. I enjoy a lot of all their breads and cakes. They are a delicatessen. For my palate and the place is very clean and the cashiers are always very kind and charming.
Guillermo Castillo
Guillermo Castillo: Went there for a soup… flavor, size, were find, service was perfect but the food was overpriced! I am aware time is complicated but $20 for a soup and a drink is a bit much! It was a Colombian soup, a similar Central American soup and a drink are in the $13.00 -$14.00 price range. BTW place was revamped and looks nice!
Hakuna Natata
Hakuna Natata: Honestly the customer service is terrible. We were told the food was going to be ready in 35 min and we agreed to it but after that nobody came to let us know the food was going to be another 40 min late. It’s very disappointing because when we made our complaint about it we weren’t heard just brushed off and there was nothing that could’ve been done. We would’ve understood if they came and told us about the lateness but nothing was done just the servers and cashiers saying oh it’s ready it’s ready and still had to wait 10 more min for the rest of the food. The food was good but after an hour of waiting nobody felt like eating anymore. Advice for customers: order takeout ahead on weekends Advice for the restaurant. Have the decency and courtesy of telling your diners the real wait time on the food. There’s no shame on telling the truth.
IRIS Arrazola
IRIS Arrazola: This cafe is amazing! The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. Soft music played in the background and very clean and well maintained. I’ve tried a few items from the bakery and they are amazing. I called to place an order but it was not answered. I made an order online and it was fast and easy. When I came in, there was a long line but that just means the food is amazing! The food did take longer than expected but I was happy and satisfied. I will definitely come again and set down to eat:)
Sandra X-Pol
Sandra X-Pol: Great service and wide variety. Desserts, food, juices. Good prices. Long lines but worth it. However, This is not the place for you if you want good cofee, they put way too much milk.
Response: Thank you so much for visiting us!
Mick Sibinovic
Mick Sibinovic: Talk about authenticity! Fresh food prepared as you wait. Felt like I walked into South America. Spanish music playing. Warm ambience of colors. Awesome bakery setup. Had to use google translate to make a custom order 😆 Place is very unique with friendly people all around.
Response: Thank you so much for trying us out! Happy to read you had a great time :)
andrea niño cardozo
andrea niño cardozo: If I can put 0 stars I would, the most disgusting thing I have ever had a tamal cooked in foil??? That is a HUG NOT.
FREDDY RAMIREZ
FREDDY RAMIREZ: We are coming from NJ. And I have visiting Colombian restaurant around the world and it is the first time that I was ask to decide if I want either rice or arepa with my beans !!! Is so weird because as a Colombian guy I never get serve from beans with out rice and arepa at the same time . Bedside this I can say food is good people is nice and I recommend the restaurant Thank you guys we will return next time we visit your town. Like calentado for breakfast is very good too
Response: Thank you for giving us a try! Stop by on your next visit to the neighborhood.

Luisa Romaña
Luisa Romaña: The services has changed a lot! Today I just got a picada and honestly it was 80% arepa and yuca and no to much meat. The arepa taste old. I don’t recommend the picada for a $19.08 you can see the picture
Carolyn Frank
Carolyn Frank: My friend and I enjoyed lunch here, as she had recently returned from a trip to Columbia. She drank an Agua Panela con limon, explained as hardened sugar cane juice made into a lemonade-like drink. I enjoyed a glass of guava juice watered down with water. We split an order of Tajadas, fried plantain slices, which were served piping hot and perfectly tender. Arepas are related to tortillas but are made from a finely ground precooked corn dough in Coumbia and Venezuela. She enjoyed an Arepas Pabelion, an Arepas split into a pocket filled with black beans, shredded beef and fried sweet plantain. I liked all of the four options in my mini Arepas tasting basket: chicken, shredded beef, roasted pork and avocado.
Alex Melgar
Alex Melgar: Pretty good arepas, i liked the Postobon. I liked the little items on display. Very quiet night
W Chen
W Chen: Portion is huge. Salad in the picture comes with fish entree. Plantain chips are thick, not greasy and crispy. Super delicious! Will definitely visit again.

Cafe Sazon: what do users think?
Chris Williams
Chris Williams: High quality comfort food that just hits every time. Filling, rich, and has that special homemade feeling of care. Cool, calm, and pleasant environment, at least for lunch. Menu selection is expansive and service is very helpful. Only criticism is that they were a bit too expensive than your common Mexican restaurant (yes I realize this isn’t Mexican, just a simple comparison). Would still love to come back!
Andres Felipe Lopera Gracia
Andres Felipe Lopera Gracia: The food was amazing. I am from Colombia and the seasoning felt just like back home. They have an awesome background music (Flute de Pan) and the bakery place looks delicious 😋. I ate soup and then lentils. The empanadas are a must-have. The coffee is far above average. Delicioso. 😎 👍
juan rosa
juan rosa: Friendly environment and staff. The food is great. Drink selection is not hugh buy it is good. This is not an upscale and super fancy restaurant but a good place to get food. Or a quick bite to eat and a great alternative to fast food. The breakfast meals are the greatest choices. The cuisine is Mexican/Salvadoran/Colombian. The price is okay. This is a great place to get a meal if your passing by or visiting town.
Rachel Mangum
Rachel Mangum: Loved my meal. I loved how fresh everything tasted. I got bean pupusas and the vegetarian sampler platter. I wish there was an option to have bean AND cheese pupusas (I did not see it on Uber eats menu). I would like to get it again.
Sangeeta Rao
Sangeeta Rao: Café Sazón is an institution, a staple, a second home! The owner is just as incredible as the baked goods, coffee, and empanadas. Located off of Columbia Pike, this cafe offers a wide selection of bakery sweets and breads, sandwiches, delicious main course items like carne asada, pupusas, Bolivian cuisine favorites, and delicious smoothies and shakes. Ample seating inside, ample parking out front, and friendly service make this cafe the regular meeting spot for our Arlington Dem Latino Caucus meetings. It is the one place we can always agree on!
Hannah Smith
Hannah Smith: This place is soooooo good! I ordered the sampler and a chicken pupusa. You can hear the chefs making the tortillas and pupusas in the back, so you know it’s authentic (and good)! Fried plantains and fried yucca ✨chef’s kiss✨ I went on a Friday night and there were only 3-4 people in the dining area. This place is too good to not be busy every night!!
Brian
Brian: Fresh made pastries. I had the Pupusa and it was delicious. Also the fajita mixta. Delicious seasoning.Very inviting atmosphere. The staff are very welcoming.I highly recommend Cafe Salon.
Nizar Farsakh
Nizar Farsakh: Lovely little place with a very sweet and welcoming host. They serve that Mexican Coke and the queso were so good I took all the ones they had left to go. Also the decor was nice and the TV plays Latin songs ir Futbol!
Arayoan Vergara
Arayoan Vergara: This is our go-to place for Latin American food. We never dine-in, always pick-up, but they are extremely nice, they’re bilingual, and the quality of the food for the price is great. We always get carne asada, sometimes pupusas, and the good is delicious. Not the kind of food that’s super heavy on grease or salt, just deliciously seasoned every time. They also decorate the place for special holidays, and we always love to see what they did to the place.

Jonathan Allen
Jonathan Allen: I love them! Their food tastes authentic and is ready quickly. Staff is always very friendly. It reminds me of food I’d eat back home.
Victor Wang
Victor Wang: Went with the mini arepa flight trio. Got to try the chicken, pork, and beef options. Quite delicious and a little more variety than one larger arepa. Also ordered the Tequeños Queso Fritos Party which was a nice appetizer with the sauce and cheesy inside.
Carlos Perez
Carlos Perez: ArepaZone is a great place, great authentic Venezuelan food, clean space and fairly priced. The cachapas con Queso are CRAZY GOOD

Darragh Joyce: Great spot adored by locals. This spot was targeted by groups of nazis from West Virginia who left unfair 1 star reviews for asking them to wear masks. This location has been a staple in the community for years and is adored by residents of DC. Great food, great staff, and convenient location just south of Thomas Circle. Great place to go to cure your hangover too! ;)

Viviana de Jesús
Viviana de Jesús: This used to be one of my fav Latino spots in NW but....lately its really "hit or miss" more miss. This morning I ordered a traditional Dominican breakfast: Mangu con queso frito, cebolla roja y chivo. Translation: mashed plantain, fried Caribbean cheese, red onions and goat. The mangu was not all the way mashed, the goat tasted really bland and like it was going bad, the fried cheese was HORRIBLE it tasted STALE AND LEFT A HORROBLE AFTER TASTE. Get. It. Together. Nobody wants to pick up food, pay good $ AND bring it home only to be VERY DISSATISFIED AND DISSAPOINTED. 😡.
Emma Hall
Emma Hall: Los Hermanos is my favorite takeout spot in DC! The food is to die for (I typically get yellow rice and pigeon peas, plantains, and roast chicken with extra sauce), the portions are more than generous, and the prices are unbeatable. It’s my favorite meal in the city—every time I eat their food I feel like I’ve ascended to culinary heaven. I cannot speak highly enough about this place!
GREGORY RILEY
GREGORY RILEY: DO NOT USE Caviar to place your order!!! Was sitting in the restaurant with an online order for over 30 mins. The parent company is Door DASH where my order was placed. So, my order was sitting there in front of them!!! Name recognition didn’t WORK either. Additionally, this is an half hour drive to get to this place and parking is a b#%*h. If you don’t have time to waste, this ain’t your spot.
Karolina Alcalá Maldonado
Karolina Alcalá Maldonado: Excellent service, excellent food....I really recommend this place.
Taylor Yvonne
Taylor Yvonne: My boyfriend and I went here today and I loved the experience. The service was really good, and the food was 🔥🔥🔥. Definitely coming here again.

El Rancho Latin Grill: what do users think?
Henrry Palacios
Henrry Palacios: As far breakfast food goes, this place is worth the money. The chorizo was excellent with lots of flavor and the plantains were nice and sweet.
Cindy Rodriguez
Cindy Rodriguez: Worst ever. I come from very far away I called and asked what time they open. After the girl said 930 they watched me stand at the door and couldn’t seven open. I called after 930 and they just stared and ignore the phone. If they dont want to work they shouldn’t be open. They clearly state they open at 6am. It is 10:00 and I took service somewhere else. Worst picking their nose while working. ASCO 🤬 You can’t expect good service from this place nor any of the other places.
Robert Topa
Robert Topa: The restaurant staff very friendly, but only speaks Spanish so come prepared. The quality of food wasn’t equal to the price. Carne Asada not seasoned well & was rather fatty. The Carne quesadillas were tasty but had a lot of diced onions.
Ruben Aristondo
Ruben Aristondo: This restaurant is a disaster, they charge you first, like at Mcdonalds, the tables are so filthy, the food was not good at all, I would not recommend this restaurant. I am in awe of how it is still open if the food is terrible, the table is so sticky your hand sticks. For sure they should close that place, I will never come here, or tell a friend to come, so disappointed, La comida es tan mala que ya pueden Cerrar ese changarro, ni en las called de México encuentras un restaurant tan sucio como este,
ronald garcia
ronald garcia: They have a really bad service i waited for about 35 minutes and the food was really bad, the pupusas was super salty and it was straight up dough, Basically no filling. The tacos of lengua was a disaster better off buying them from ANY street truck, the arroz chaufa was overcooked.
Jose Atuncar
Jose Atuncar: I love the price but after the pandemic their chicken taste like shut charcoal!!!! Get off the Peruvian chicken u guys are not even there!!!! This place sucks!!! If they don’t change!!!
Daniel Cifuentes
Daniel Cifuentes: Grew up eating here since i was a kid, hell i even tried to work here. Sadly the food isnt the same, my mouth dried up as soon as i bit into a piece of the chicken because of how dry and salty it was, dont get me started on the flavorless rice and beans which gave me a upset stomach. Tres leches i had once was either expired or undercooked, it was solid and looked like dough thats been left out, plus tasted bad. Its just sad how downhill they have gone. If u want dry chicken this is the place. Only good things i enjoy here r the fries and that orange sauce they have, but there r definitely better places nearby.
Matthew Campbell
Matthew Campbell: Good feud, good service, unfortunately not much of a gluten-free selection
Stephanie Flores
Stephanie Flores: Great Peruvian Chicken. Fries and yuca.
Nestor Gregory
Nestor Gregory: WELL presented and flavored Peruvian cuisine. EXCELLENT breakfast, lunch and dinner at a good price. Safe location near VRE and bus stops.

Columbia Station Club: what do users think?
Ayaz Khan
Ayaz Khan: A fantastic jazz venue. Had a great experience. The owner, Mahari, personally checks on all the guests. The bartender Lena is lovely.Great service, relaxed atmosphere. Real Jazz start kicking off around 9pm. Great performers. Will certainly be frequenting this place regularly.
cristalebella B
cristalebella B: The owner welcomed us in immediately andmade us feel at home. The Jazz was what dragged us in, and it progressively got better and better. I sipped on my dirty martini and enjoyed all the ambiance this place had to offer. Meoowwww all that was missing was Eartha Kitt 😉 😘
Ellie Twigg
Ellie Twigg: Ugh. Great potential in this AdMo spot but unfortunately, the service from bar staff and ownership is so bad. Horrendously overpriced drinks and rude bartenders in a place that hosts amazing live Jazz music and the occasional comedy night. Diverse crowd and a packed house with little to no service to the seated tables or those sat at the bar. Didn’t keep proper tabs on our bill so we were charged a seemingly random amount. We might be back but only for the jazz and comedy.
Dwayne Evans
Dwayne Evans: Laid back comfortable atmosphere with no pretense. Good service and music
Elizabeth Goodrich
Elizabeth Goodrich: Sat outside while the jazz band played. Highly recommend. Had the calamari for an app. It was SO good, lightly fried. Then we had a chicken pasta, delicious. Lots of vegetables and seasoned amazingly. Then my partner in crime had a steak that was Pittsburgh style. Sooo good. Came on a Sunday night! Jazz until 1am.

La Cosecha: what do users think?
Millie Kwan
Millie Kwan: This is a great space for Latinx businesses such as home goods boutiques, wine/wine bar and gourmet grocery, food stands and restaurants. There is an upstairs lounge as well as outdoor seating. Even the indoor space is a large open space and it is not crowded like Union Market making it easier to navigate during the pandemic. Would have liked to try more than one of the food stands, but well go back again. Beautiful space and do highly recommend.
Tania Abraham
Tania Abraham: What an amazing experience, space and open market/food court. La Cosecha is the perfect space for doing some window shopping, actual shopping, grab a drink, and/or grab a meal. I was genuinely spoiled for choice with all the great options… So I sampled a bit of everything from the various restaurants! Nothing was a disappointment & I ended it with a Cafe Con Leche Paleta from Jarabe Gourmet Pops!!!
Nate B
Nate B: This is a nice place. There are several good places to get food or drinks. It is very clean and people are friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.
John Huegel
John Huegel: La Cosecha is an urban destination and attracts a lot of young adults as well as some older folks like me. A dozen or so proprietors sell trendy food and drink and a few other things. My wife and I were attracted by the Argentine Tango group that holds an introduction to Tango lesson and a Practica on the loft level for experienced dancers on the fourth Sunday of each month. A great place to dance on a Sunday afternoon. We travelled there from Delaware just for that.
Daisy Gutierrez
Daisy Gutierrez: The new drinks inspired by Selena songs are amazing!
KIMBERLY THOMAS
KIMBERLY THOMAS: Always a great time and great food! Definitely recommend. The food and drinks are perfect. The service is even better. Ask for Maria! She’ll take good care of you!
Laura Garnett
Laura Garnett: This is my favorite market in the whole of DC. You can find the best Latin American food, wine, and artisan shops. I purchased this new ear cuff here, made by indigenous women in Colombia. We need more of these personal, diverse, and authentic cultural venues, especially in the "click-and-buy" world we live in.
K A
K A: I found this hidden gem in D.C and I couldn’t help but check it out and I didn’t regret it. It’s filled with so much culture and art along side nice restaurants, a wine shop, a coffee shop(Unido) to mention a few. I particularly loved checking Nova Bossa out. Such a beautiful shop with quality items. First time here and I would definitely revisit to try out some great delicacies. I highly recommend this contemporary market to all art and food lovers and also it’s a must visit to all locals and tourists. Wil M: Latest update (June 2021): Last visit was greasy… 🤢 Update: We have come come about 5 times and have to say the service and flavor has decrease in quality. We are thinking about giving this place a long break till they bring back the good cooks and waitress 😒 ———————————————————————— Good taste and portions, fair prices, will come back again. El Tamarindo: what do users think?
Ronald Martinez
Ronald Martinez: Pupusas were great but the fajita that I ordered was not. I ordered the Tex fajita which bring shrimp, chicken and beef. When I got my fajita, it only brought 2 pieces of steak, 2 shrimps and 2 pieces of chicken. For $19.50, I would expect more or at least a fresh plate. The food seemed to be microwaved and had sauce thrown all over it to make it seem fresh.
Destiny Rhea
Destiny Rhea: I had the worst experience tonight with El Tamarindo. I placed an order at 7:13 and the delivery driver arrived to pick up the order at 7:35, he waited for 45 minutes and finally was able to get the food at 8:25. When the food arrived it was cold. The cheese enchiladas were so cold like the order had been truly sitting around for an hour. I’m waiting on a refund to be issued for this order. I would not advise ordering for delivery. Attaching photos of the huge block of cold cheese. It’s a food safety issue for sure. Not to mention the containers were soaking wet from condensation from the food sitting around for an hour. Bad experience with them overall. The issue was not with Postmates but with the restaurant directly. Just awful all around with $50 wasted.
Anner Reyes
Anner Reyes: WORSE!! When I say WORSE customer service I have EVER gotten in my life!! The sad part it all started with Mr. Jose Reyes THE OWNER of this family owned restaurant! I drove almost 2hrs out of state with my family just to get the worse service ever! Nothing to what they promote online! (TikTok) We were greeted by Mr. Jose, first thing he asked was if EVERYONE was fully vaccinated. Mind you it was just my wife and kids my oldest is 11 yrs old. He than goes on and tells me that it’s a new D.C CDC Guideline. We are from out of state, we didn’t know. As a business owner myself it is my job to make sure my business page/website is updated with current CDC Guidelines, he failed to do so on all his business pages. Not every out of state customers will know each states CDC guidelines! He finally allows us to stay. We get seated. It didn’t end there! My youngest child is served a dirty glass! Place was basically empty it took them 42 minutes exactly to bring us our food but they were more busy serving the owners family party! Kept changing of waitress like what the heck! At the end one of the waitresses had the audacity to ask if we had left tip in cash! What?! Service was horrible and still expecting tip?! For the owner: Mr. Reyes, sir I highly advise you to keep your business pages up to date! I myself own a 5 star business, this is not the way to treat customers! Sincerely, Anner Reyes
Lena
Lena: Best pupusas I’ve ever had and still are. I frequented El Tamarindo probably the most out of any other restaurant while living in DC. Amazing pupusas and a very nice setting.
Response: Thank you!
Marco T. Alemán
Marco T. Alemán: Don’t get confused with their nice TikTok advertising… We’ll never come back to this place!! I’ll hire the TikTok people who does their advertising, We came here because of that. The experience was totally different, the soup was horrible, my Mojo de Ajo Shrimp didn’t have no garlic flavor it all, my the nachos were old.
Imani
Imani: We needed some late night food on Sunday and we almost lost all hope until we found El Tamarindo! I ate their cod fish soft tacos that were equally beautiful and delicious!

Habana Village: what do users think?
Adam Farrell
Adam Farrell: We were just walking by, and were immediately enticed by the fun salsa/latin beat, savory aroma and fantastic vibes pouring out of this establishment. When we saw their happy hour selections, we were sold (5-7pm!). Outstanding Piña-Coladas, Mohitos, and Margaritas confirmed our anticipation, delicious and only six bucks. $3 draught beers, more fantastic music and THE BEST fried yucca were also enjoyed. This place is so fun, affordable and the kitchen is one of the most professional in the area. Mario was the most welcoming of bar tenders, as he happily explained the menu, their story and some of the dance classes that are offered (prior to covid). We felt safe being served outside and will be back FOR SURE. Especially for some dance lessons! P.S. for the authentic cuban experience, finish your meal with a shot of aguardiente! Delicious!
Kezia M
Kezia M: Went here for my friends birthday! They were timely in getting us seated after being a bit late for our reservation. The staff were very nice and sincere. Absolutely loved the food! Took a little bit to come out but it was well worth the wait. Some of the best plantains I’ve ever had! Their rice and beans... chefs kiss. Will definitely return whenever I make my way to DC again!
Ana De Gutiérrez
Ana De Gutiérrez: Delicious Cuban food!!! I love the Vaca frita
Madison Dull
Madison Dull: This was a wonderful experience. the food, service, and music was incredible. The food was authentic. The service was perfect they were around the perfect amount. Mario, the server, was very attentive and made wonderful drink and food recemendations. It would be a shame not to dine at this restaurant.
Jacqueline
Jacqueline: Phenomenal food!! Great service that’s now family owned and operated with new management - salsa dancing and amazing vibes. Just bought a practice in the area and will definitely return !
Giani Morales-González
Giani Morales-González: Excellent Service! Excellent Food! Great and Relaxing Atmosphere! It is a must try, you’ll be sorry that you missed out!
Quarib Chowdhury
Quarib Chowdhury: This is a DC institution. Amazed and glad it’s still around. Friday night Salsa class was great with a great instructor. I left early for the social but every video I see seems like they’re a good time. I wish it was a little bigger.
Elizabeth T
Elizabeth T: This place was a great choice to go to! We ordered the nachos and they were fantastic!! It’s such a nice place to go and enjoy dinner and a drink. I felt right at home and they were very attentive. They sanitize their glasses and I was very happy to see that during this time! Everything was delicious. Make this a place to go and visit soon!

Julia's Empanadas: what do users think?
Allan Christopher Pin Drew
Allan Christopher Pin Drew: Cheap and cheerful shop with tasty empanadas. A few vegetarian options (thank you!) and pork/beef/chicken as well, including chorizo and some fun mixes.
Lou Costanza
Lou Costanza: Make sure you bring cash if you want to buy anything at this place. While they state they accept credit cards for purchases over $10, today was my second visit where they claim the credit card machine was down. Highly suspect… Anyway, the Chilean empanadas are very good here. I’d consider coming more often, but who carries cash these days? Solid 3 stars.
Adam Winstanley
Adam Winstanley: Service was not so great! The person behind the counter was not very attentive. Even though the empanadas were good they were way over priced. $39 for six empanadas? Seriously? And I could not get a receipt because their “printer” was not working. The person behind the counter would not even separate the empanadas so I couldn’t tell which ones were which and I had to cut them open when I got home. Very inconvenient. I probably won’t be back here for a while.
Timothy David
Timothy David: Empanada heaven. We may have over done it with 7 BUT each empanada, hand rolled, is stuff with such unique ingredients that each one was amazing in its own way. Another great quick stop for a snack while venturing through DC.
Rose Croshier
Rose Croshier: A portable, delicious lunch for $6! Can’t beat it! Am wishing they’d get back to making salads though- Fresh greens would round out the meal.
Bill Robertson
Bill Robertson: Wow! Amazing empanadas! Tried 4 different flavors, and all were excellent: Saltena, Chilean, Turkey and Chorizo. The Saltena had green bell peppers which was not listed in the ingredients but did not overwhelm the flavor, which was excellent. The Chilean is the favorite empanada here, was recommended by the staff, and it did not disappoint. Not very spicy, but very flavorful, with a zest that will leave you wanting more. Cash only spot, but worth the trip to the ATM.
Stephen House
Stephen House: Very pretty looking pastries, but mostly empty and WAY overpriced. It was about 8pm. I got a pear almond pastry. There was almost no filling. Tasted kind of like almond extract but it was mostly dried up pastry dough. For $3 + tip, I was not impressed at all. I threw most of it away because I’m already fat and I don’t need to waste my daily calories on plain dough. Sorry, Julia. Maybe it was just an off day or something but I’ve had better empanadas at Taco Bell, for $1.
Scotty Leach
Scotty Leach: I smelled the place before I got there — you can smell the delicious scent of empanadas before you arrive. Once inside, the small shop draws you toward the empanadas lined up in their warming case, enticing you to get one (or more). I decided to get two for lunch, one Chilean (beef + veggies and spices) and one Salteña (curried chicken + olives, veggies, and egg). The Salteña was phenomenal. At $6 each, it’s slightly pricey, but worth it if you’re hungry and want something hand-made, tasty, and quick. The only thing I didn’t love was the $10 minimum for credit cards. That’s a pretty high minimum, and it means you have to get at least two empanadas if you didn’t bring a debit card or cash. The colorful art on the entrance is lovely and draws your eye, once you get close. Try Julia’s! Make sure to grab napkins :)
Sisi Koleva (siscenceto)
Sisi Koleva (siscenceto): Price: taste=4 starsI got guava and pear, almond and pear and one vegan one. All were tasty, but the guava one was especially good. My meat loving friends loved the Jamaican one and the spinach one

Jesus Martinez
Jesus Martinez: Love this Place.I have know the owner since He Started with a Food Truck. My favorite is the Nacho Supreme....🤤🤤Usually I pick it up on my way Home.
Steven Perez
Steven Perez: First time here and WOW definitely not what I expected but the food /THE PUPUSAS were DELICIOUS!!! Definitely coming back :)
carlos perez
carlos perez: A family favorite. My parents and I continue to come year after year. What are my favorties? Their pupusas are well priced and large. With a lot of great filling. The Sopa de Mariscos is the best in the region. It had a whole crab, shrimp and mussels. Definitely worth checking out.
James
James: $5 for nachos is a steal, everything here is very reasonably priced/on the cheaper side. If you’re in the area definitely stop by!
William Badie
William Badie: Service and food always great !!! We tried this restaurant out many years ago and we are still loyal to this place the food is always great "A MUST TRY" you will love it.
Jhonathan Cabrera
Jhonathan Cabrera: I would hands down say this place has the best pupusas in the DMV.
Alejandro Cruz
Alejandro Cruz: Price point was great, food quality was mediocre. Nothing to write home about. They gave yucca fries before the food came, and I ordered the pupusas and yucca con chicharron. There were not enough bits of chicharron. The cabbage for the pupusas was a delightful suprise and was sweet.
