The Capital Candy Jar: what do users think?

t mac: A nice around the corner on Capitol Hill if your into different chocolate. Just step away from the metro and bus route. Yes they serve ice cream too. A chill spot if your not doing anything and just want to get out the house and do a little exercise and want a sweet treat for you, the kids and even the your furry kids.

Don Robinson: Always loved this place and they have great candy!

Cory Matthews: They have ICE CREAM!!! Great snacks and treats for gifts and more! Truffles, chocolats dipped pretzels, gummy treats and more. Did I mention they have ICE CREAM!!! Pictures to come, but the special flavor was amazing!!!

Temmeka Moore: Man these truffles are everything!! Butter Pecan Truffles are a must. So are the Lemon ans Champagne. I live in Richmond and go here one a month for my fix. If you don’t know then you must embark on this place. Nice gentleman in there too who is pleasant and sweet.

Randall Thacker: I LOVE taking these candies home to family in other parts of the country as gifts because they love receiving them. A great variety of uniquely DC oriented candies. Especially love the cherry blossom ones! This is the next Georgetown Cupcake - where when you are in DC you MUST buy one!

Ashley Vicos: Capital Candy Jar is a MUST Stop Location when visiting the DC area!!! It’s a tantalizing trip for everyone in your group & your taste buds won’t be disappointed!!! It’s hard to find locations that create all of the edible goodies by hand & take time to perfect each delicious morsel!!! The customer service is top notch & the owner is hands on & brings such a personal aspect to the entire business, you’re sure to feel right at home in this high class establishment!!! Will always be on my to do list when traveling!!! ❤️

Chocolate Chocolate: what do users think?

Lou Costanza: The staff are super friendly. The store is very clean and even though it’s small, they have an amazing variety of classy chocolate. I really love the Washington Monument chocolates. They make unique and excellent gifts. Beautiful selection of Easter candy as well.

Sachiko Ueno: The Chocolate Chocolate is the oasis in the middle of DC. Every time we go there, we felt welcomed with the smiles and the hospitality of the owners. They have the varieties of the candies and chocolates and also they have seasonal items which usually are lovely! I ordered the chocolates a few times during the pandemic, and they delivered them so well. I am going to order more for my treats!

Ravishankar Sivasubramaniam: Small chocolate store with excellent selection of classic European, eclectic and old fashioned chocolates.

Judy Feigin: The selection is wonderful; the candy delicious; and the personnel delightful to deal with . We have given these chocolates as house gifts to friends both in D.C. and throughout the country. Everyone loves them.

Carol Fox: I love this shop. The owners always have a kind, personal word when I make an order. The quality and variety of chocolate is excellent. My favorites are the buy by the pound choices. When we lived overseas, my husband would bring me something from this shop when he returned from a trip.

Brian Lewis: The best selection of gourmet chocolate in DC! The owners and staff are warm and friendly and treat their customers like family (one big happy family of chocolate lovers!). I placed an on-line order this morning knowing that my chocolate will arrive quickly and safely packed in ice!

Tracy Pang: Beautiful space, excellent selection, and a phenomenal staff! I stopped in looking for a gift for some friends and experienced one of the best customer service experiences of my life. They have lots of nut free options and an array of products at every price point, in a wide array of flavors (Yuzu honey to chocolate covered Oreos). I could not recommend their products or the store more!!

The Chocolate House: what do users think?

Doug G: I love this little gem of a specialty chocolate shop. I visited just before Christmas and they had a full selection of truffles, holiday chocolate gifts, and an amazing array of bars. The staff really know their chocolates. They were helpful as always pointing out and describing options for 80%+ cocoa bars I was trying to find. And in selecting truffles for custom truffle boxes, including local chocolatiers! It is my go to place for special occasion gifts or treating myself to hard to find chocolates.

Virginia Milius: I’ve been to right many chocolate shops and this one was just okay. They did have a decent selection. I always look to see if they have Icelandic chocolate bars and this place did. I took my time and selected a few items. I was surprised at my total but good chocolate is a little pricey. I enjoyed the curry coconut truffle and the lavender caramel chocolate. The other ones were kind of blah. The espresso bar was very tasty and the intense 95% dark with ginger was complex and truly unique. Loved it. Haven’t touched the pyramid yet but plan to next weekend. Staff member was friendly.

Brian Hart: Fantastic chocolate shop with a wide selection of craft chocolate. I went in looking for chocolate made locally in the DC area. The worker quickly pointed me to exactly what I wanted. My wife loved the selection of bars I purchased for her!

Alek Cannan: Absolutely the best chocolates and truffles I’ve found in DC! Really an interesting variety of gourmet truffle flavors. This shop is great for gifts, or for a treat to yourself. We have signed up for their monthly subscription of one box of truffles per month. Very fun to try different kinds. The owners and staff are also very friendly. Highly recommended.

Catharine Funk: We were looking for a place to kill some time while sigh seeing and waiting for our hockey game that evening and we ventured to the Chocolate house. First of all the lady working was very friendly and patient with us as we decided which truffles we wanted. I am familiar with products that are carried in this store as well because I carry them in the store I manage as well. Some of the truffles we got were raspberry, passion fruit, the coffee one, lemon, yuzu, and a few more. The raspberry was too tart for my boyfriend but I absolutely loved everyone that I ate. I highly recommend!

Hannah Seidel: Delicious chocolates and excellent vegan and dairy-free selection. Easy to work with for special events as well - we ordered a few hundred vegan truffles for our wedding and they were a huge hit!

Viv C.: This cute little place is run by a sweet couple. Delicious chocolate. They even gave me a little ice pack after they learned that I would be under the sun for a while so that my chocolate wouldn’t melt. Will come back.

Shelby Burns: The Chocolate House is wonderful! I did a truffle making class and it was a great time. We learned a lot and the truffles were delicious. I highly recommend this class!

Christopher Woofter: Amazing chocolate choices from around the world make this shop very unique. The staff are super knowledgeable and take time with each customer. The merchandise is over priced or at least more costly than one would expect. Asking for a good dark chocolate bar without being too costly the sales associate offer us two bars at $10 and $12. These were modest sized. The one we bought was amazing but perhaps some more approachable wares might be worth adding. Great chocolate doesn’t have to be crazy expensive. The variety and shop set up was very clean and well organized.

Ann Morse: This eclectic shop never fails to inspire me for unique gifts. The staff go above and beyond to help. Thanks for the ideas today! Longtime customer, first time reviewer.

Neal Brenner: Awesome store with a wide variety of gifts, cards, chocolate and so much more. Cannot stop laughing while you are there as there are so many funny gifts. A must if you are in DC!

Avery Jones: Looking for a fun gift or hilarious card? Do you find New Yorker cartoons hilarious and political jokes always in season? This is the place! I always go there for the best cards for my friends and family (big selection), and they always have amazing little joke gifts, as well as creative and nice gift options for people that are hard to buy for.

Arthur Zayden: I go here for my event planning needs, balloons, bulk candies and decorations. Great prices and the place is very organized, costumer service is amazing. Employees have a great product knowledge of all the items they carry. If I can give more than 4 I will give them a 10 star!!!

Henry's Sweet Retreat & Bakery: what do users think?

Katie Hallock: We have now come to visit this place quite a few times as they are the only place in the area that I know of that offers freshly scooped Graeter’s ice cream! I am a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and really miss having this on a weekly basis! LOL. We first discovered this place when we were eating in the area and simply looked around for some ice cream. I couldn’t believe it when I saw pictures posted of the Graeter’s logo and ice cream freshly scooped! I even called to confirm that I wasn’t dreaming! LOL. They also offer another local ice cream, but I have to say that as it isn’t as smooth and creamy or as flavorful. Just my opinion. My kids love this place because of the crazy candy selection they have here! So they usually end up passing up ice cream an order to pick out an extra sugary sweet. This place also offers baked goods, of which we’ve tried a few. Everything I’ve tried has been nice, but not as life-changing Lee awesome as the ice cream. Although my husband was quite a fan of their s’more‘s cookie! The service here has always been friendly and we will definitely go back!

Humnah Ibrahim: the ice cream sundae here was great! the service was fantastic and the employees were very kind! the environment was also very nice and my family enjoyed playing the board games in their loft area seating :)

Sandy Long: I ordered a cake and cake pops for a family birthday party. Both we’re delicious and beautiful! One week later and the leftover cake pops taste as fresh as day one. We especially loved the lemon flavored. Don’t pass this shop without getting one of their delectable treats. You won’t be disappointed. This family-owned business is one of Bethesda’s gems.

Quinn Cartheuser: A must stop for any Cincinnati area transplant. They scoop actual Graeter’s ice cream and have pints you can’t get at Whole Foods. It’s a taste of home and the Midwest. They also have delicious pastries, baked goods, homemade chocolates, classic sodas and so much candy. A DC area treasure.

Neuhaus Belgian Chocolate Union Station: what do users think?

Dominic Giglio-Tos: Another great shopping experience was had here. The chocolates and wonderful, and the service was also excellent. The employees were happy to help us whenever we wanted anything and they were conversational. They also handled a particularly rude customer that was there with tact and patience. I can and will recommend getting your chocolates here!

Skye Smith: Absolutely wonderful experience! 10/10 would recommend.Service was next level, very informational, one on one attention to detail, and strictly customer based. Chocolate was excellent as well and made the perfect housewarming gift.

K Ak: It’s a SHAME that after years of coming into this store and buying their incredible product, I’ll have to say goodbye to them due to the WORST customer service I have EVER received. As I came back from traveling this morning (11.17.21), I walked into the store to get some chocolate. I was in the process of putting my mask on when the lady who works there YELLED at me and continued to do so as if I was some kind of criminal. I told her that I thought that the new mask mandate was already in place, but I was putting one on anyway (it was in my hands) when she continued to yell at me and shouted that I need to leave the store. If you hate your job-quit. This is not how you talk to people. I’ve never experienced such a rude behavior. I’ve seen the owners and the previous staff and they were incredible. However this lady just ruined the experience of it all. So be aware. In any case, there’s a different store next door where they know how to talk to the customers.

Annie S: This is real although outrageously priced chocolate from Belgium. I suggest paying special attention to promotions, never refusing to taste what is offered and come visit this shop at Easter and Christmas. The Easter chocolate eggs are the best thing ever.

Jaye Aster Broder: Neuhaus has great chocolate. The staff is friendly and the packaging is great for gifts. You should definitely try it at least once. Now that it’s in D.C, you don’t even have to travel to Belgium.

Karla Ledesma: The best chocolate and the person who attend us was very kind and sweet. Thank you so much!

Steve Perry: This place has some of the Worlds best Chocolate! I would give them 5 stars but the location in Union Station just plain sucks! Hard to get there unless you are already going to the station! The chocolate covered cherries are to die for though! I bought some and they were so good that they didn’t even make it home! Luckily I bought more than one box! If you love chocolate and you don’t mind paying a little more you will love this place! If your on a tight budget, you may want to stick with the lesser stores! This one is top shelf!

Linda Bagby: I received the Lovely Mother trio gift box today from my son Tim and wife Susie. These candies are pieces of art! So pretty and very yummy! Absolutely love them!!! Thank you!

Megan Connell: The most amazing customer service I have ever encountered, and such great chocolate. The staff is polite, kind, and helpful. My most recent visit left me smiling the rest of my commute home because of how wonderfully they treated me and the excellent product I knew I received.

Kisha Smith: My nephew went grocery shopping for candy 🤣 It really has a nice variety of candy. Make sure you weigh everything the cost will add up quickly!

Nils Hünerfürst: What a place to buy candies.

Jacob Sosa: Great selection. My daughteers love this place. Many to choose from.

Christopher Estorninos: Love going here since it carries candies that have be discontinued, for example, the Lime flavor of Skittles, they have a bag totally dedicated for the well missed Lime flavor that was replaced with Green Apple. The staff at this location are friendly, helpful, and very insightful when getting a great present, like buying an enormous Gummy Bear for a child is not a good idea, but maybe for a "man child", sure. There are more than just candy at this store, it has an assortment figurines, trinkets, collectibles, and many other candy themed accessories and apparel.

Michele Stoute: Candy in abundance Yes indeed solve that sweet tooth craving here 😃😀

Savannah Candy Kitchen: what do users think?

Philippe Jacques Kradolfer: Savannah Candy Kitchen at the National Harbor has enough candy variety to satisfy any sweet cravings! Hard to know where to look, as there is something special in every corner of the store and on top a model train around the store close to the ceiling. Pretty much everything is of good quality, specially the pralines and the candy apples made in house. The display of candies at the entrance wall is fascinating to look at and the candy is sold by weight or in boxes ready to take home. Ice cream are pretty good, although not like Italian ice cream. Definitely a place to visit while at the National Harbor to satisfy any craving for a sweet treat! Nice place with good service, although service could improve by some of the employees.

Da-Wang Wu: It’s a very nice and cute candy store! They have many different options of candies, and they also have some homemade candies / chocolate. We bought some to try, and most of them might be a big too sweet for me (i.e. the sweetness overpowered the flavors) although my friends seemed to enjoy it.

PHJ TEXAN: Area clean, very inviting. Ordered two items 1) carmel pecan apple: apple not fresh (as you can see), carmel was very soft/creamy but hardly no carmel taste and pecans was ok 2) box of pecan, sorted flavor, price take $7.50 when scanned $14.50. showed her the $7.50 tag and she said someone priced it wrong, told her well its that price she had bad additute told her forget it, not worth that price nor the price of you addititue, all them items on shelves shows that that price. Service was bad, apple not all that.

Sussan Annais H. Cartaya: It is a fabulous sweet shop, the decoration is very nice; great variety of sweets, gummies, candies, chocolates, ice cream and more; a little expensive, the pound of candy at $ 15 but very nice!

Karen D.: The personnel there is very pleasant and nice, the place is always in immaculate state. The options are endless and everything tastes so delicious ✨.

Cindy Reaser: The store is in a great location. The peanut butter cup was very good. The caramel chocolate apple was mediocre. The prices are rather high for what you get. There is no clear direction on where to get in line or how to get items behind the counter. The workers were neither friendly nor helpful. I would not return to this location.

Andres Mendoza: It looks really nice and promising and had alot of foot traffic so I figured it would be good. Way too over priced and candy made in house was not that good. I spent $18 on 3 milk chocolate gophers (basically equivalent of 3 smaller chocolate bars) and 2 rasberry blue sour "orange" slices. Even when you consider rent and labor that should have been about $10 max since made in house. I do not recommend. Also the fact that it was mediocre at best didnt help. Again the interior layout is cool and place is very clean and bright.

Orlando G.: While visiting National Harbor for the first time, and having already eaten dinner elsewhere, I wanted ice cream. I had banana nut. Delicious! A friend got a very large peanut butter cup. Lively place. Great experience

Velatis: what do users think?

Valerie Hawthorne: Met a head case Karen today, 12/3/24 at Velatis around noon. Tall woman, dyed blonde longish hair in a rather 1960’s style. I was a considerate customer doing absolutely nothing but ordering my candy. And her aggressiveness was unreal. I’ve been there at least a dozen times in the past years and the candy is wonderful and the staff so nice. But this woman definitely takes her personal issues out on her customers. Especially black customers - watch out for this woman.

S King: Velatis is the home of my favorite candy!! Vanilla sugar caramels (some people call them English caramels) with cashews. I have been going to Velatis for more than 40 years and enjoy the sugar and chewy caramels, vanilla or chocolate, with and without nuts. Their sweet selection includes chewy caramels with marshmallow. Velatis also has delicious chocolates and special confections for most holidays.

Kelly G: Delicious caramels! Just bought a small pack to try, and my husband and I have eaten almost all of them. Soo yummy! The chocolate they offer also looked good. Try this place, and support a nice small business.

Minh “Max” Diep: Absolutely love this place. Awesome staff and quality caramels/ chocolates. Would highly recommend! Amy is awesome!

Natalie Gerdovich: Great authentic candy store located in heart of Silver Spring. I really enjoyed the nice assortment of the candy as well as the different options. Very friendly staff and service as well. Price was reasonable considering the type of merchandise offer. I would definitely go back.

June RelphNixon: My husband began purchasing candy at this store for me a year ago. My husband would visit Union Station to purchase me Godiva Chocolates and Neuhaus Chocolates. After, I tried the caramel and chocolate treats her, I was immediately addicted. Excellent candy and pricing.

Artisan Confections: what do users think?

Gia Pham: these chocolates are amazingly delicious!! i love it. a lot of different variety of chocolate flavors. the customers services there are great also. everyone is super sweet and very friendly and super helpful too! i definitely will come back soon if I want to more chocolate. 100% recommend

Mia Smith: I haven’t tried their chocolate yet. I got this box as a present for a friend. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They make their chocolate right there in their little factory behind the store. If you’re looking for gifts, I highly recommend Artisan Confections.

Michael Drillings: Their chocolates are magnificent. My wife and I eat them slowly because each bite should be savored. I have eaten a lot of chocolate in my life, including in Europe, and this is by far the best I have ever had. Enjoy!!

Marnie Schaar: I bought 20 boxes for my clients on Valentine’s Day and they were a hit! Beautifully made chocolates and very delicious. I highly recommend Artisan Confections.

Pawel Garczynski: So happy we gave Artisan Confections are try. Shipping was super quick, the chocolates were beautifully packaged, it was the perfect gift! Will be using for more gifts in the future :)

david oremland: The chocolates from Artisan Confections are among the most appreciated gifts one could give. Good reason for that. The chocolates are extraordinary. As a gift they come gift boxed and wrapped in a beautiful setting. But my advise is eat them first before giving them as a gift. They are that good.

Sam Russell: definitely in my top 2 for chocolatiers in the NOVA/DC area. They use vahlrhonna chocolate as the base for their truffles- which is my favorite. They always have a good selection of flavors that has both variety and appeal, plus they have seasonal flavors so I always feel like I have more to look forward the next time I get some. I hands down recommend their caramels (not in the truffle case) and their Tahitian vanilla truffle. Delicious!

Danielle W: Great selection of local Virginia wine which is specially delivered to their shop. Also very good chocolates especially the Carmel ones. Handmade soaps are good as well. They also sell blue crab ceramics and some lake/water themed house decor.

Charlotte Geary: My kids and I love Chesapeake Chocolates! Doris and the rest of the staff are so kind and welcoming to us. The chocolate is delicious, and they always have adorable, seasonal chocolates for every occasion. The shop is a great place to buy gifts, too, with an excellent selection of Virginia wines and handmade crafts.

Ruth Sievers: Hand made chocolates made in small batches are the main draw here, but the store also sells jewelry, scarves, cards, wine and other gift items. Lovely little place. And the chocolate is delicious. I almost forgot: there is a Post Office inside the store.

Linda S (LindaS): Excellent chocolates. Also love the spiced grape wine served warm. The entrance to Chesapeake Chocolates is on the lake side of the plaza. Got a lot of my Christmas shopping done there in a matter of minutes.

T. Parker Gallagher: Fantastic chocolates, locally owned, friendly and does custom orders, quickly. I am a 5year, 4-6 times per year, repeat customer. Doris is top notch!

Southwest Soda Pop Shop: what do users think?

Kristy Kairos: Mango ice cream was incredibly good. Lemonade drink to die for. Proud to say it’s black business owned. Great for your sweet tooth needs. Will be going back again.

Kris: Amazing shop! Staff is super friendly ! Not only is the ice cream options amazing the food options are good! Definitely recommend

Nick Webster: Southwest Soda Pop Shop is a cute outdoor ice cream and soda stand. Serving soft serve and scoop ice creams , floats, and sodas. A wonderful stop on the north end of the newly opened DC Wharf. Look closely for the shop since there is still a lot of construction. It is located on Maine Ave directly in front of the Seafood Market. There is ample bench seating under a shaded awning. It will be even nicer to visit once the construction is completed.

Shenita Y White: Best soft serve ice cream ever! It is so smooth and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness and vanilla! I had vanilla in a medium cup (but wish I gotten the large). There’s always tomorrow! Sorry about the photo, it was basically gone by the time I thought to take a picture.

Dondré: This is a great outdoor quick ice cream shop. The staff is cool and the smoothie I ordered was good. They offer all kinds of ice cream, banana splits, milk shakes, smoothies and more. They have ice cream sandwhiches made of real cookies and your choice of ice-cream flavor.

Roniqua Jeffries: So good! A must stop ice cream shop at the wharf on the fresh seafood side. Pictured is the cherry blossom ice cream sandwich on sugar cookies. Ask about their secret menu. This is a walk up shop with no indoor seating. There are some pub tables outside. On my last visit they were selling hotdogs and half smokes as well as ice cream.

Margie Nguyen: Waited in line for about 20 minutes around 2:00 on a Saturday. Very nice people and great treats! Can’t wait to come back and try other flavors! Wanted to come out to support a local black owned family business!

Raiana Berman: Heard some great reviews and always ready to support a B.O.B., I decided to try it out for myself a few weeks ago. My friend got a chipwich and really enjoyed it. I ordered the cake explosion and immediately saw a hair baked into the brownie sitting right on top. The line to address this was over 30 min wait so I threw it out and took a loss. Customer service could be better and possibly more seating to accommodate all the customers in their long line.

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams: what do users think?

Amanda (WhatsDaHype): I was pleasantly surprised when I found out Jeni’s was in walking distance after eating an early dinner in DC. The ice cream didn’t disappoint on the two visits to this location. Except for their non-dairy options and their version of cookies and cream. The non-dairy options are coconut base so the flavors advertised didn’t match the name. I tried banana pudding but it tasted like coconut ice cream. And the young lady serving me did give that disclaimer. Their cookies and cream version was not sweet at all. They use to offer samples but that’s on hold due to Covid. Their sugar cones aren’t as sweet as I prefer. They have a great crunch and a hint of salt.

Samuel M. Worthington IV: We’ve been big fans of all good ice cream and Jeni’s is certainly one of them. Almost all of their flavors are well thought out and made well ( some more than others) and the waffle cones are great. The only reason they get 4 stars is the scoops are ridiculously small, especially for the price that you’re paying. It seems that they’re getting smaller since we’ve been going here, too

Muniba Khan: I got a single-sized waffle bowl with the salted peanut with chocolate flecks and the everything bagel seasonal flavors. Everything bagel ice cream has no business being so delicious. I really appreciate that they have some good salty flavors.

anu yadav: Sad they were out of the pints of caramel pecan sticky bun dairy free ice cream. It is decadent. I went in. This Jeni’s has a line around the building on Saturday nights. Like a club. I think I understand why.

Anna Baker: It was decent. I had one scoop of lavender ice cream and one scoop of strawberry and cream ice cream in a waffle cone. The waffle cone was not flavorful and was very soft/almost crumbled apart. The ice cream flavors were nice but NOT good enough to justify their high price point. I’ve had much better ice cream from both mom and pop shops, as well as higher end ice cream parlors, for much less. I’m glad I gave it a try as it is always so crowded, but I definitely will not be going back.

Autumn Boyd: We got the ice cream sampler. Best ice cream I’ve ever tasted! Flavors were all so vibrant and unique.

Amber Worthington: Best ice cream I’ve ever had. The sweet biscuits & peach jam was phenomenal & their waffle cone take it over the finish line 🏆

R Lin: Respect to Jeni’s- they really do have splendid ice cream! I’d heard of this places a few times before so it was nice to finally try it. I love that their flavor combinations are pretty nontraditional from what you see at your run of the mill ice cream shop. And they back it up with the product actually being really yummy! My specific visit to this location was a tiny bit disappointing as I asked for several different flavors that they were out of or couldn’t serve for some reason. It was quite odd. But the workers were very nice, and along with the good ice cream I did eventually get it really mostly made up for it. Who doesn’t always want some delicious ice cream at any time of day, week or circumstance?? (if your answer is anything except “um yes always!” please keep scrolling and don’t talk to me lol)

Haagen-Dazs: what do users think?

Ashton Foldenauer: Mediocre fruit smoothie but very good ice cream. Ridiculous prices. Around 10 dollars for the small smoothie but whatever. Nothing else to say.

Patrick Cassino: Overpriced for mediocre iced cream. Miniscule portions where they give you the next size up or add toppings without your request for them so they can upcharge you. Avoid at all costs, and simply buy a pint of hagen daaz from a grocery store nearby.

saahib aalim zafir: I am glad this ice cream shop has survived the pandemic. I went there before going to the movie. The ice cream flavors are amazing and I pray for the survival of this amazing lounging place.

Melanie Smith: The most expensive milkshake in Chinatown! We paid $21+ for two milkshakes. They were delicious but not worth $21. You can walk a couple of blocks to Five Guys and buy a milkshake for $6.95. Or you can walk a bit further to Dolcezza for locally made gelato for $5.90 for a cup with two flavors. I’ll give HD positive stars for great customer service and you can order online and pick up. Plus the quality of the ice cream is what you expect from HD.

Dashawna Ivy: Very pricey. They made my ice cream cones sloppy and you have to ask for napkins instead of having a area for that.

Leila Bournes: He hands me the cup and it had a hair on the spoon he stuck in it. After pointing out the hair. I said i was okay n didnt want it anymore. He asked if he could replace it with something else. I said a kids cup of just vanilla. Which he was about to charge me for. Hence the review. We declined the ice cream completely. Whats worse is he looked confused. No thanks.

Mattie Quigley: I paid $17 for two cones. When we checked out the three workers snickered at us.

Ice Cream Jubilee: what do users think?

Vikram Seshadri: Interesting flavors I have never had before. Some of the flavors I tried were too strong for an ice-cream (Smoked ones..). Definitely had some interesting flavors that you gotta try.

chandrima deuri: Loved this place that I accidently discovered on our visit. I tried two of the flavors from their special cherry blossom festival menu and loved them both. The smoked vanilla cherry sakura had a strong smoked flavor which was a unique experience for me since I have never tasted smoked flavor ice cream before. The orange blossom tea cake

Nik Rama: WOW. Incredible ice cream flavors all around. They had so many wild flavors that all sounded delicious! We were able to sample a few and then order a giant 2-scoop cup at a very reasonable price. I got the passionfruit and guava sorbet as well as the cookies & cookie dough ice cream. The passionfruit and guava sorbet was incredible. Tart, sweet, fruity, and silky smooth as a sorbet. It was incredible, and those two fruits pair really well! It was so refreshing on a hot day. The cookies & cookie dough was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. I expected a decent and familiar ice cream, but this was another level. The pieces of Oreo’s were big and chunk and a little soft to allow for a more pleasant and homogeneous bite. The cookie dough was also chunk and such a high quality cookie dough. Overall this is an incredible ice cream spot if you’re looking for a non-chain location that serves high quality and unique ice cream.

pradyuman mehta: I absolutely love their ice-cream but every single time I have gone the lady who serves the ice-cream has the WORST attitude. The only thing that keeps me going back is the mango and marshmallow ice cream. They should realize that if they keep treating customers like this, they will lose all of them. This particular lady is even rude to their own staff. Jeni’s ice cream which is walking distance from here has great ice-cream and AMAZING SERVICE. No wonder they have a bigger wait and are more popular…

A: Best ice cream in DC hands down!! The banana bourbon caramel flavor is to die for!! I buy the pint sometimes. Always delicious 👍

Michael Ciurea: The Thai tea ice cream flavor is on my top three best ice cream flavors ever. It legit tastes like a good cup of Thai tea. They also have great seasonal and occasional flavors that you should check out. This place has won many local and regional awards for their ice cream, and they’re all well earned. Great service and wonderful ice cream.

Danny Kim: Ice Cream Jubilee is a nice small ice cream shop with plenty of delicious flavors to choose! I went with the chocolate waffle cone with 3 flavors of ice cream, Thai Iced Tea, Marionberry, and Honey Lemon Lavender. The good: Each ice cream flavor was exceptionally delicious! The taste was sweet and the flavor was strong so you can actually taste the flavor ordered! My favorite is probably the Thai Iced Tea, so I will be happy to return to order more of this! Overall, definitely will be making a return trip! Love the flavors, and want to try them all.
