Saya Saltena: what do users think?
Xavier Phelps
Xavier Phelps: Rather dissatisfying salteñas. Dough was too stiff and overly sweet. They did not appear to be handmade. I was disappointed that I took people here without trying them myself first. Of the bunch the spicy beef was the bunch.
Edgar Ocampo
Edgar Ocampo: Absolutely, EXCEPTIONAL quality of product and customer service!! I live in Minnesota where my mother passed in March of 2011 and shortly before that was my last saltena. Last month, I stopped into Saya Saltena during a visit to Washington DC. My visit to Saya Saltena brought back so many memories because the flavor and quality of saltenas brought me back to those I ate more than a decade ago. I have had several since then and none that have come close. The gentleman who helped us out that day also had impeccable service. Anyhow, I inquired about Saya Saltena possibly overnighting saltenas to Minnesota and low and behold I had three dozen arrive this morning! Maria Iturralde made this possible and was extremely pleasant to deal with. If you get a chance to stop by - the first bite is well worth the trip! Thanks again, Saya Saltena!
Silvia Murillo
Silvia Murillo: Hi, I was so happy to find Salteñas in DC, the owner is very nice and has a good disposition with her clients, but people that make these call saltenas, will hurt her business, I’m sure she makes delicious ones, but what I got today was very disappointing, No Flavor!! In fact very bad, I like to consume her product if she over sees the cook... very sad!! I hope they improve to expand their business, don’t sell this to the public unless...you try and taste. What a waste of time and money!!!👎🏻👎🏻
Patrick Foxworthy
Patrick Foxworthy: Feels mass produced and not handmade. Undersized and overpriced. Stiff, overworked, not flaky dough. Minimal filling overwhelmed by a soup forward stew mix. Charge for bland sauces. Save your time and money and hit Columbia Pike when you want a saltena.
J R
J R: They don’t follow their updated hours. Every time I’ve come in no one is there.
JAVIER MARQUEZ
JAVIER MARQUEZ: (Translated by Google) Bad customer service and I had saltena (Original) Mala atencion al cliente y mo tenia saltena

Ed: Good vibe and good food. Definitely a place I will visit again, staff is friendly and music is great. After 9:30 pm the vibes gets better. Recommended
Gerald Mansfield
Gerald Mansfield: Had a wonderful time here last night celebrating a bachelorette party with a couple of our girlfriends, we had no idea that he shows existed at this location. Now that we have attended the show at this location for the bachelorette party last night and had their food, we will definitely be back. What a hidden gem
sol sol
sol sol: the food is good and the place very fun.
Marilyn Sanin
Marilyn Sanin: Amazing night scene, owner is spectacular! Great drinks, music, and lively crowd! They even have a smoking room upstairs! Love this place, fave club in DC
Michael John
Michael John: This establishment is extremely racist and did not let my friend in because he is asian. DO NOT go here and support this racist bar. Find somewhere else.

Old Ebbitt Grill: what do users think?
Natalia Mednikov
Natalia Mednikov: There are straightforward American-style food. This restaurant is best known for its huge old-school oyster bar—think lots of dark wood, brass fixtures, and big mirrors. That oysters was fantastic and fresh. We’ve enjoyed also cheese sampler, fried calamari and baked oysters. Everything they do is absolutely delicious. The service was very fast and friendly. We were happy to choose this great restaurant to end our busy day in Washington, D.C.
Aditya Karandikar
Aditya Karandikar: Had an awesome time here as a late night/ early next day stop. The food was quite nice and fairly refined, especially at such a late hour! The atmosphere was popping as well which made it more enjoyable. Service was very friendly and they had great oysters. Fresh complimentary bread never hurts either…
Sam M
Sam M: This place is one of the more famous restaurants in DC. I visited this spot during brunch and it was packed. I would definitely recommend making a reservation for both weekend dinner and brunch services. I started with New England clam chowder and some salad dish. For entrees, I got eggs benedict and catfish. All the dishes I ordered were pretty good. But, I definitely enjoyed their desserts more even though I was pretty full before it. Their key lime pie and salted caramel bread pudding were both amazing! Staffs were very accommodating and attentive during the whole service. I’m planning to visit this restaurant and will get some oysters and burgers next time. I heard they are pretty good. I definitely recommend this place to celebrate any special occasions.
Suzi Figueroa
Suzi Figueroa: Wow, wow and wow! A friend recommended this establishment to me when I asked for dining recommendations for my upcoming DC trip. I am so glad I listened. The warm and inviting ambiance matched the service. And the food? Oh my goodness. Delicious. My SO ordered meatloaf. Who knew meatloaf could take on a such an extraordinary presentation.
Response: Suzi, Thank you for visiting Old Ebbitt Grill and leaving a great review! We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience and we hope to have you back again the next time you're in town.
Elaine Viegas
Elaine Viegas: AMAZING! There is no other word to describe it. Since we arrived until we paid the service was perfect. I couldn’t be more happy for their food, service and kindness on my birthdays lunch. We didn’t mention that it was my birthday but they saw on my profile and as soon as I arrived they asked to confirm and no only brought my desert with a candle and a cute chocolate happy birthday place on the top. Our server was amazing, she arrived singing happy birthday, was very classy and really surprised me. Thank you for the excellence in your service. BTW the food it’s top quality, my oysters and shrimps were fresh abs really tasteful.
Jelena M
Jelena M: Great food, great price, great service! The waiter we had was so nice, knowledgeable, and friendly! The calamari was very good, but watch out for the spicy peppers in it . My salad was yummy! I usually never order salads, but I am glad I did as the dressing was citrusy and refreshing! They also give warm bread and butter while you wait 😍
Response: Jelena, Thank you for stopping by Old Ebbitt Grill and leaving a great review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your experience and look forward to having you back again soon!

Wil M
Wil M: Latest update (June 2021): Last visit was greasy… 🤢 Update: We have come come about 5 times and have to say the service and flavor has decrease in quality. We are thinking about giving this place a long break till they bring back the good cooks and waitress 😒 ———————————————————————— Good taste and portions, fair prices, will come back again. (Silpancho and Pollo Saltado)

Luzmila's bolivian restaurant: what do users think?
Alexander
Alexander: Absolutely delicious! I’ve never tried Bolivian food before, only hear how tasty it was from one of my Bolivian friends. I put my questions. Today after having some delicious salteñas! Also enjoyed the pupusas. The prices was very reasonable, and service was prompt. I absolutely recommend trying this restaurant!
Emilie Salinas
Emilie Salinas: I had high expectations going here as this place has high rates. We ordered Chairo, Fricasé and Salteñas. Food is fresh but having tried the original dishes was a bit disappointed with the flavor of the Fricasé. Chairo flavor was good but I was surprised they made it with chicken and beef as Chairo is with lamb and it is the "chalona" that gives the true flavor. Also it seemed that they added to much soup to the Chairo and Fricasé so portions would look more generous. Salteñas had to much potatoes as a filler. Moconchichi drink was good. If you are looking for true bolivian maybe try somewhere else otherwise food is not bad.
JORGE SUAREZ HURTADO
JORGE SUAREZ HURTADO: It was very tasty but the mocochinchi was not up to the standards of others I have tried. The cuñape was not very tasty compared to other places. However, the salteña and the cheese empanada were delicious.
Brandon Pa
Brandon Pa: Ordered a Silpancho meal through DoorDash and the portion is pretty generous. Besides the steak it comes with two eggs, potatoes and rice on the bottom, a piece of bread, and tomatoes and onions as toppings. Since I got this delivery, the breading of the steak was a little bit soggy. But I’m sure it was crispy when it first came out. I felt that there could’ve been more flavor, but overall I think it’s good considering the portion. I would definitely try this place again and would like to order their other options
Archbishop Dr Smith Abrams Almasi MDiv DD THD PhD
Archbishop Dr Smith Abrams Almasi MDiv DD THD PhD: Very Family oriented environment. Excellent food. Very fast. Great management team.
Miguel Ramos
Miguel Ramos: This place makes the most authentic style salteña I have tasted this side of my native La Paz. Chicken or beef you will not be disappointed.
Mischa
Mischa: I found the ordering process to be a bit confusing, because I thought I could order my food at the counter and then find a table to sit. So I ended up eating outside, and there was only one table outside (should be a few more), but luckily it was empty. Otherwise, the saltenas tasted very good I think. I had one chicken and one beef saltenas. I also had a horchata, it was my first time having a Bolivian horchata. It tasted different from an El Salvadoran or Mexican horchata, but it was still good. The prices were also fair.
Aroz Khalid
Aroz Khalid: When you walk in it smells amazinggg! And the food is truly divine, All hit no miss :) wish we came to falls church more often to try different stuff from them 😋😋
yeeetser Flex
yeeetser Flex: The food is really good the meats that they use also really good food quality good staff members really nice the menu is a little bit confusing and their hours are pretty strict but this place has delicious food.

Luzmary's Bolivian Restaurant: what do users think?
Cruz Nestler
Cruz Nestler: What an amazing little Bolivian restaurant! My family is from Bolivia so they took me to this VERY authentic Bolivian restaurant to let me experience the food they grew up on. Food was amazing and the servers went above and beyond to accommodate my ignorance. There may be a small language barrier as most of the wait staff are from Latin America BUT they go out of their way to make you feel at home. I tried so many new things and really enjoyed the overall experiences here! Definitely drop in and see these guys!
Mischa
Mischa: Very nice place to have a Saltenas! The Saltenas were very nice. The staff were okay. The price on the laminated food menu was inconsistent with the price I paid. The laminated food menu said that one Saltenas was 2.75, but cost me 3.50 on my receipt. Also, the website for this restaurant says “insecure,” when it should have a lock icon instead. Otherwise, all else was good. They also had this interesting Bolivian beer, which was almost like a combination between a malt soda and a root beer, with a low alcohol content. The trancapecho sandwich is very good, too. Also has indoor seating (too loud for my own personal tastes in the main room on a Friday night), a small room for carry out orders, and a few outdoor seats (which is where I sat). Nice place overall.
Meg Earsley
Meg Earsley: Excellent food, we loved it! We’d never had Bolivian food and the staff were very helpful. Everything we ate was delicious, the flavors were outstanding. Highly recommend.
Nathan Maynes
Nathan Maynes: We went here for a quiet night out and enjoyed the food. Parking is out front in a small parking lot which can be a little awkward when the restaurant is busy. The service was prompt and professional. Food options are great and provide a few different choices for those looking to enjoy Bolivian cuisine. I ordered Fricase, which is a stew with large chunks of pork and corn. The broth was full of flavor and there was plenty to eat. This is a great option for anyone looking for Bolivian food in the Northern Virginia area.
Samrawit Seid
Samrawit Seid: My first Bolivian meal experience. Food was good the the local Dark beer tests very light and a bit sweet. I like my time at this restaurant.
Monica Minaya-Flores
Monica Minaya-Flores: I have been coming to Luzmarys for over 5 years now. Food is good however if you want to wait over 20 minutes just to be acknowledged then I recommend this place. I tried to give this place a chance time and time again however each time its just more disappointing. My drink was forgotten, it took 20 minutes just to get my tab and anything we asked for. They need to invest in better service and more staff.
Omar Oropesa
Omar Oropesa: Oh man, Authentic Bolivian food. I ordered Silpancho, Picante de Lengua, Pollo Empanizado and Sandwich de Chola. Great customer service, great location, great tasting food at a moderate price. Good for the whole family. 👍🏻
FB DMV Events
FB DMV Events: The peanut soup!!!!! Simply amazing, so filling and comfort food. The peach tea with the seed in the glass (do not remember the correct name) very delicious. Been 2 times this week already.

Joyce Romero
Joyce Romero: Wanted some authentic bolivian food in honor of my Gma’s Bday and ended up picking Khisko in Falls Church! I was pleasantly surprised with this spot. I was greeted by a very kind lady who seemed to be the chef and owner. Had the silpancho as my first try and ofc, it was delicious. A Beautiful reminder of where I come from on a special day. Located in Eden Center within the building with the clock on the front. Check them out and support a local small business!
Kelly Nelson
Kelly Nelson: Great food. The homemade sausage and cheese were amazing. And the Bolivian peach drink is pretty good, too.
Jerome Wiley Segovia
Jerome Wiley Segovia: Restaurant appears to be permanently closed 🤔All lights are turned off during business hours and the scotch tape holding some signs to the window have begun to peel off. Maybe they closed today for a specific reason? (April 13, 2021)
Manuel Weaver
Manuel Weaver: We arrived at this spot for lunch. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. we were warmly welcomed by the staff members and we felt fantastic. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will visit this place again. We recommend this place to all.

Corado's: what do users think?
Martina Rosen
Martina Rosen: Do NOT order a burrito here. It is almost entirely unseasoned white rice. I’m not joking or exaggerating. I’ve never seen anything like it. Over ten dollars for a flour tortilla filled with plain white rice. I mean filled. There was a thin strip of black beans and a bit of guacamole, but a 3” diameter core of white rice made up almost the entire inside of the burrito. I ordered a veggie burrito with all the fixings.
Erika Johanna
Erika Johanna: Corado’s was delicious. I had the cutest lunch date with my boyfriend here and had a frozen margarita, ceviche (which was soo good 🤤), sopa de res, and flan. Definitely would recommend the sopa de res, it had great taste and the meat was cooked perfectly which made it super tender. Check this place out for authentic Latin food !!!!
Bigboy Pratama
Bigboy Pratama: Newly Renovated and Under New Management. Food Taste Great! The Shrimp Ceviche is Bomb 💣and The Alcoholic Horchata is so refreshing 🤤. A++++++
g j
g j: Amazing food for reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Make sure to try the beef empanadas!
Moshe topas
Moshe topas: I’m sorry I didn’t put a picture of my entree, but it was the seafood soup. I’ve had many seafood soups and I was not disappointed at all. Very filling and strong flavors of the sea. I really felt that for $14 they should’ve had a crab or a taste or lobster in there. The setting was gross, especially the drunk guy at the bar didn’t help it all. Other than that it’s a great place for a seafood soup! I’ll return and try other stuff.
Thomas Isidean
Thomas Isidean: Great chicken burrito in this down to earth restaurant with friendly service. The chicken was tender and super tasty. You have the option of black or pinto beans. They also make a veggie version. Good sized portions.
Angie
Angie: This place is NOT Guatemalan. They are lacking the staples. They don’t have Rellenitos, or many popular things in Guatemala. Very disappointed, we ended up getting side dishes bc everything was so Americanized. It’s is not really Guatemalan very underwhelming.
Response: We are sorry you feel this way, we have many Guatemalan dishes such as the Plato típico, enchiladas guatemaltecas, tamales, chiles rellenos, etc…. However, if you look at our website you will see that before the pandemic Corado’s had a change in management in which we introduced many Latin American dishes such as salteñas, quesadillas, tacos, lomo saltado, empanadas, ceviche and others that are not Americanized dishes just simply from other Latin American countries. We do hope you enjoyed the food and our service. May you have a blessed day and hope to be able to serve you once more in the near future. Corado’s Management
Javier Rivera
Javier Rivera: Doing some work with brother in DC. We wanted to get some lunch so because this place was near our work site we went in. My brother and I were very happy with this choice. All we had were cheeseburgers but they were fantastic. Nice place very friendly owner and great cook. 5 stars all around the TV had soccer which was an added plus.
Response: Thank you Javier for stopping by and visiting us! We are glad to hear that you had an incredible experience with us and would love to see you again soon!

Mischa
Mischa: A very cute and nice little Bolivian Restaurant around the heart of Falls Church. I only had the Saltenas and their maize corn drink, which were both good! The staff were nice and the prices were decent as well. Great place! Update: I tried their trancapecho, which was very good, but it was a bit too small and pricey in my opinion, and it had no mayonnaise on it. I also tried the mocochinchi (peach tea drink), which was also nice.
steffy Enriquez
steffy Enriquez: I ordered empanadas and omintias I had a bad experience with them they did not taste like how they use to. I don’t know if they changed chef but before they were delicious

Maria Rivera: Fast and friendly service, food was authenticly Bolivian and the portions were large.
Andrea Cantori
Andrea Cantori: One of my favorite spots now. Brings so much comfort to have what feels a home cook meal. Highly recommend 💗
Victoria Contreras
Victoria Contreras: I can’t believe I never posted a review here before! Me and my family have been coming here for years, breakfast, lunch and dinner! I love bringing friends here to introduce them to authentic Bolivian food and of course they are hooked. The staff is always super sweet, the restaurant ambience is simple with touches of Bolivian culture but very clean and they have a patio out front. But oh my gosh the food portions are definitely Bolivian sized (Huge). For breakfast we love the traditional hot Api drink with Pastel de Queso. And please if you never tried a Salteña please please try it here. I can’t describe it justice but think a savory chicken or savory stew wrapped in a dough that is a little sweet (kinda like an empanada) …and of course the soup! Think super large pho size, when you crave their soup in the middle of summer you know it’s good.
Juan Serrano
Juan Serrano: Food was amazing and the server went above and beyond for us to have an amazing experience. Highly recommend it.

The Bolivian Sabor: what do users think?
Diane Jortner
Diane Jortner: We found this little placeWhile looking for a great place to eat fast on a Saturday Night. Very authentic, tasty, friendly and quick service. We shared a fajitas plate and one was plenty for us both.
Response: Thank you for the visit
Wally
Wally: This place is absolutely horrible. Their customer service is atrocious. Called ahead to pickup an order of for 4 charques at 10am for 12PM (They have a tendency to run out or their kitchen “not working”). The lady who picked up the phone asked me for my name and number. When I arrived they said no order was placed I showed them the 5min phone call on my phone but the other guy just blew it off and said he could have them ready in 15mins - what he meant by 15 was 1 hour. I guess he meant bolivian time. The girl at the front is by far the worst. She asked me 5 times what my order was and if I paid already - WHEN SHE INITIALLY TOOK MY PAYMENT. Foods not worth all the hassle. Super unprofessional. Saw 2 groups of people get up and leave from. it being attended. Avoid at all cost if possible. Go to Panamericana instead.
Response: We love you too thank you for the tip and for the waiting time :-)
Al P
Al P: WARNING: THIS RESTAURANT CHARGES 15% TO YOUR BILL WITHOUT FIRST INFORMING CUSTOMERS. Avoid restaurants that use this questionable practice. ORDERED: Salteñas, sailpancho and T-bone steak. PROS: Plenty and convenient parking, the restaurant has been renovated and expanded, it is spacious, fresh, clean and well maintained. Saltenas are big and filling, food is reasonably priced, the menu has multiple Bolivian options to dine, plates are big enough to satisfy your appetite. No waiting line on a Sunday afternoon. Overall the food is OK. CONS: Only one waitress working on a Sunday afternoon, big delays providing attention to customers, waiter very slow (why hurry, tip is forced to customers), the saltenas are ok but could have more taste. This restaurant adds 15% tip to your check WITHOUT informing you first: charging without initial consent is arguably an illegal practice. RECOMMENDATION: Restaurant and food is OK. THIS RESTAURANT CHARGES 15% TO YOUR BILL WITHOUT FIRST INFORMING CUSTOMERS. Avoid restaurants that use this questionable practice.
Response: Thank you for the review, as you post on the pictures, and no need to scream, you just read and says we charge 15% Gratuity when......... the service is more than 50 dollars, so 1 star restaurant or 5 star restaurant will do the same, if you are not welling to pay the gratuity... NEXT TIME ........ try to talk with the manager and explain your discomfort to pay gratuity for the service you receive, or let us know if you want to just give 2 dollars tip we are here to serve you even if you don't want to give a 11 dollars tip
Idalia Zelaya
Idalia Zelaya: BAD BAD BAD place to dine or take out, service SLOW, and take out do not get what you paid or order. IF you call them they hang up the phone or they say they do not have TIME.
Response: We love you too come back any time and enjoy again

sejas car wash llc: We stop by to taste the food, and was delicious pique macho, picante mixto, 3 hermanos, and the almuerzo completo , oviously we have salteñas to go and maybe will come back for the api, the service was not good but the food it is what matters, maybe the lady that serve the tables will be a little less Angry face and stop using her cellphone all the time and puts more attention to the tables will be perfect even we can put more tips on the table but who cares the attention when the food is perfect will back for the second round :-)
Response: It was a pleasure to serve you :-)
Kogda Achapkin
Kogda Achapkin: I come to this restaurant several times a month to get cheese empanadas and sometimes chicken saltenas to go. Always the best quality, fresh, delicious and taste is amazing!! I usually finish 1-2 right away on my way to work. Sometimes i buy extra empanadas to treat my team at work as everyone loves them and everything is usually gone before EOD. Thank you for consistently tasty and fresh food!!
Response: Thank you for the comment and for the visits

Ema Klimaitė
Ema Klimaitė: Amazing Peruvian restaurant. The ambience and the interior decor is fantastic! Ceviches (or anything you order) are delicious. Also, great Pisco sours! Specialty dishes are often updated. Staff is professional and friendly. Very much recommend this place!
Kassandra T
Kassandra T: My fiancé and I had a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner here. They even provided a rose with our reservation! We wanted to try a little bit of everything and got: calamares fritos and tiraditos for apps, ají de gallina and seco de res for entrees, and the buñuelos and flan for dessert. I thought everything was delicious and authentic although I thought there would be picarones (Peruvian donuts) rather than the buñuelos which come from Colombia, Mexico and other countries. I’d come back again!
Jen Massabki
Jen Massabki: Both the food and ambiance of this place are excellent. I loved every dish I ordered and every drink. The waiters are incredibly nice and the service is fast. The decor was very cool and so was the music. All around a great experience! I totally recommend this place.
Emily Zier
Emily Zier: Arturo was so wonderful! Walked in and didn’t have a reservation but he set me up with a drink from the bar and had me seated inside quickly even though it was pretty busy! Great drinks from the bartenders and such great food! Mussels, short rib, and steak were a hit. Had a wonderful night thanks to y’all. Will be back!
Stephanie Scholz
Stephanie Scholz: Everything about this place was so lovely. The ambiance was on point, the drinks were great (love pisco!), the food was delicious, and the wait staff were super friendly and kind.
Anahi Amaya

Zuley Domínguez
Zuley Domínguez: one of the best places to eat Latin food, the food is fantastic, the place beautiful and the environment really great i’d love to give 10 stars if i could, Super recomendable
Evelyn Quiroz
Evelyn Quiroz: The food and service here was amazing. Our server was very attentive and helpful in picking out cocktails and food. All of their cocktails were good, we started first with the Chicha Morada. The Chicha Morada was similar to classic Peruvian drink, but a bit frothier.

La Cochabambinita Restaurant: what do users think?
Paola Chavez
Paola Chavez: They have good food overall, my only issue is that I can never order from them over the phone, I believe they run with one phone line...which is always busy, so 70% of the time we end up ordering from somewhere else. They need more phone lines to take orders.
Kenia Hurtado
Kenia Hurtado: Usually pretty good! Their sopa de maní and salteñas have not disappointed, yet. I did order the lapping once and it looked boiled and grayish, we ultimately just decided to throw it out.
Deb Mer
Deb Mer: Stopped in to buy some Saltenas. The service was quick and the Saltenas were fresh. They tasted okay, the filling was delicious but the dough was not as good as others I have had.

Paola Aguirre
Paola Aguirre: The service was great!! The place was a bit run down. We ate in the basement , as we opened the door, you could smell the mold & mildew. Even while wearing the mask. The food was ok. It had no flavor.

Boris Alvarez: Bolivian food. Goos stuff. No a/c

Jonathan Ochoa: (Translated by Google) We made the mistake of coming here and spending our money. The aji de lengua had two different noodles and was chewy. The food was ugly and they served us well little. We were ten people and they made us wait 30 minutes for each dish and then they forgot a whole dish. I will not come back again. Amizade: (Translated by Google) Ordering a male chop and came all oily, with the potatoes hard, service totally incomplete, my husband asked for spicy tongue, and the dish came full of black shavings from the bottom of the pan, tasteless, the only ones came totally hot, I hated everything of this place, not to mention that my family and I prefer to eat out, since the space inside is very small and we also opted for the cool breeze that was running outside, so this place was full of flies, hate ... This is undoubtedly my last visit to this place after a few years without having returned again ... ☹️😖 My rating for this place is 2 and still yes, not worth all this ...

Salteñas Deli | Empanadas: what do users think?
Karla Rodriguez (KRod)
Karla Rodriguez (KRod): I found this place by Googling, and when I saw the great reviews and how close to home it was, I was on it! I was able to pick them up frozen and heat them up at home! They were delisioso! I’m going back next week and ordering a Bolivia dish! It is a house so don’t be turned off by that. The cook is very sweet and the Saltena was very very juicy and smaller like in my native country Bolivia. They offer Saltenas all week and specialty dishes on Sunday only.
Response: Thank you for your choice
JG Remodeling
JG Remodeling: We bought 10 salteñas (chicken and steak) and loved them. We usually drive 1-1.5 hours to get salteñas because we are so particular, but these were delicious and local! Family/home based business. We are excited to have found this place and we highly reccomend it.
Response: thank you for choosing us

CARMEN ANTELO
CARMEN ANTELO: Every dish I tried at this Bolivian food restaurant was delicious! The high level of cleanliness of the place is noticeable and great customer service make me come back to this place very often. Todo lo que pruebe aquí será delicioso y a precio justo! Lo único malo es que cierran temprano 😢
Mischa
Mischa: Cute little place to enjoy saltenas (which is what I had). The saltenas were good! I also had some kind of a cheese empanada, which was good as well. I just wish there was a better selection of drinks, especially Bolivian drinks. I wanted something Bolivian, but ended up getting a coffee instead. Some people, like me for example, like brown sugar in their coffee and there was no brown sugar. The staff were okay. Overall, this place was good.
Gabriel Sheehan
Gabriel Sheehan: Very good place, the empanada salteñas was fresh and very good. I need to go back for more.
Amanda Casteel
Amanda Casteel: Delicious Bolivian food!! The brisket is amazing! Try the peanut soup!
paul ribera
paul ribera: Restaurant has awesome Bolivian pastries and excellent customer service. Antonio went out of his way to make me feel welcomed in his restaurant and engaged in great conversation about the food and traditional Bolivian food. I came into the restaurant almost at closing time and he made fresh empanadas de queso and sonso, needless to say the food exceeded my expectations. Great job Antonio!

Julia's Empanadas: what do users think?
Allan Christopher Pin Drew
Allan Christopher Pin Drew: Cheap and cheerful shop with tasty empanadas. A few vegetarian options (thank you!) and pork/beef/chicken as well, including chorizo and some fun mixes.
Lou Costanza
Lou Costanza: Make sure you bring cash if you want to buy anything at this place. While they state they accept credit cards for purchases over $10, today was my second visit where they claim the credit card machine was down. Highly suspect… Anyway, the Chilean empanadas are very good here. I’d consider coming more often, but who carries cash these days? Solid 3 stars.
Adam Winstanley
Adam Winstanley: Service was not so great! The person behind the counter was not very attentive. Even though the empanadas were good they were way over priced. $39 for six empanadas? Seriously? And I could not get a receipt because their “printer” was not working. The person behind the counter would not even separate the empanadas so I couldn’t tell which ones were which and I had to cut them open when I got home. Very inconvenient. I probably won’t be back here for a while.
Timothy David
Timothy David: Empanada heaven. We may have over done it with 7 BUT each empanada, hand rolled, is stuff with such unique ingredients that each one was amazing in its own way. Another great quick stop for a snack while venturing through DC.
Rose Croshier
Rose Croshier: A portable, delicious lunch for $6! Can’t beat it! Am wishing they’d get back to making salads though- Fresh greens would round out the meal.
Bill Robertson
Bill Robertson: Wow! Amazing empanadas! Tried 4 different flavors, and all were excellent: Saltena, Chilean, Turkey and Chorizo. The Saltena had green bell peppers which was not listed in the ingredients but did not overwhelm the flavor, which was excellent. The Chilean is the favorite empanada here, was recommended by the staff, and it did not disappoint. Not very spicy, but very flavorful, with a zest that will leave you wanting more. Cash only spot, but worth the trip to the ATM.
Stephen House
Stephen House: Very pretty looking pastries, but mostly empty and WAY overpriced. It was about 8pm. I got a pear almond pastry. There was almost no filling. Tasted kind of like almond extract but it was mostly dried up pastry dough. For $3 + tip, I was not impressed at all. I threw most of it away because I’m already fat and I don’t need to waste my daily calories on plain dough. Sorry, Julia. Maybe it was just an off day or something but I’ve had better empanadas at Taco Bell, for $1.
Scotty Leach
Scotty Leach: I smelled the place before I got there — you can smell the delicious scent of empanadas before you arrive. Once inside, the small shop draws you toward the empanadas lined up in their warming case, enticing you to get one (or more). I decided to get two for lunch, one Chilean (beef + veggies and spices) and one Salteña (curried chicken + olives, veggies, and egg). The Salteña was phenomenal. At $6 each, it’s slightly pricey, but worth it if you’re hungry and want something hand-made, tasty, and quick. The only thing I didn’t love was the $10 minimum for credit cards. That’s a pretty high minimum, and it means you have to get at least two empanadas if you didn’t bring a debit card or cash. The colorful art on the entrance is lovely and draws your eye, once you get close. Try Julia’s! Make sure to grab napkins :)
Sisi Koleva (siscenceto)
Sisi Koleva (siscenceto): Price: taste=4 starsI got guava and pear, almond and pear and one vegan one. All were tasty, but the guava one was especially good. My meat loving friends loved the Jamaican one and the spinach one

Juan Carlos Recinos
Juan Carlos Recinos: To me this was more like a home made food Bolivian restaurant. My group and I went there through a recommendation. I loved the api con pastel and the food that my family ordered.
argus mcduck
argus mcduck: Great food and friendly staff. We had great experience.
Mohamed Youssef
Mohamed Youssef: If you want a home style cooked Latino meal, this is the best place you could possibly find. I’m glad I decided to try it while waiting for my barber across the street.
FNU MUBASHIR
FNU MUBASHIR: The server was busy on her cellphone. And has no time to ask if we were ready to order, or if we were happy with food or do we need anything else.
Nicole Paz
Nicole Paz: we ordered silpancho and it took about 35 minutes for it to come. when it did come, it was cold. we asked for two waters, we never got them. we were five total, and when the waitress only gave us three utensils and two plates. the music was so loud i couldn’t hear myself talk. there were so many flies everywhere... we were inside for crying out loud! but the food was good so i guess that’s what counts.
Karen E
Karen E: Every time that I call to this place for carry out, the person answering the phone (a woman) is always extremely rude and prepotent. She hung up the phone on me many times. She really needs manners or should not be on the phone.

Zayanie Perry
Zayanie Perry: I got a cake from here and it was terrible. No flavor whatsoever. Not one ounce of vanilla, sugar, or anything. Couldn’t take more than two bites. Definitely not worth your money 🙄
Sheneil Black
Sheneil Black: Got some jumbo empanadas they said were cheese. It was mostly hollow with some cheese stuck to the crust ( def not a typical empanada); the saltena was good but the pastries were very so-so.
Gabriela Lobo
Gabriela Lobo: I am sorry but I have to change my review, very disappointed. I came after a while and order a Lapping, waited and when I got my plate I was sad to see that the meat was not seasoned as a lapping it was more of a carne asada with chimichurri, it was dried and to kill it there was no corn and the haba was old! Oh the salad that comes with it was served with a regular shredded cheese instead of our famous quesillo. You come to a Bolivian restaurant anxious to eat our delicious food and instead you leave mad and disappointed. I will not be coming back to eat but yeah maybe to get salteñas and or bread maybe 😒
Javier Larrea
Javier Larrea: Oh the food the food the delicious food... When I get to visit the DC area I have to always plan my trip around this place... The food and baking goods... Unlimited options... Salteñas! Just try them and repeat haha
