Saya Saltena: what do users think?

Xavier Phelps: Rather dissatisfying salteñas. Dough was too stiff and overly sweet. They did not appear to be handmade. I was disappointed that I took people here without trying them myself first. Of the bunch the spicy beef was the bunch.

Jennifer Khaldi: I have been wanting to try these saltenas for a while and finally had a chance today... very, very, disappointed. Being a Bolivian I am fully aware what a saltena should taste like. I bought 2 beef and 2 chicken. First the meat was made with ground beef(1st time ever seeing this), egg slices were huge, to many sweet peas and way to juicy. It looked and tasted more like a saice than a saltena. The crust is my favorite on a saltena, but this one was more like a maicena (stiff and sweet at the same time) , not baked enough ...almost raw. Appreciate the representation in this diverse neighborhood, but sadly it's a no strictly on the food. If you want to to try authentic saltenas... I still have my favorites from Luzmila's in Falls Church!

Edgar Ocampo: Absolutely, EXCEPTIONAL quality of product and customer service!! I live in Minnesota where my mother passed in March of 2011 and shortly before that was my last saltena. Last month, I stopped into Saya Saltena during a visit to Washington DC. My visit to Saya Saltena brought back so many memories because the flavor and quality of saltenas brought me back to those I ate more than a decade ago. I have had several since then and none that have come close. The gentleman who helped us out that day also had impeccable service. Anyhow, I inquired about Saya Saltena possibly overnighting saltenas to Minnesota and low and behold I had three dozen arrive this morning! Maria Iturralde made this possible and was extremely pleasant to deal with. If you get a chance to stop by - the first bite is well worth the trip! Thanks again, Saya Saltena!

Lynn Ohman: Mi hija ordered Saya Saltena's for a mother's day brunch yesterday. They were packaged beautifully and were delicious! Just like the best in Bolivia -- delicious pastry crust, slightly sweet, but not too much so. Biting off the top of the braided crust, the fillings were seasoned well, with just enough "soup" to satisfy. Please open another restaurant near Annapolis!
Response: Thank you so much for review. Happy Mother's Day!! We can always ship to Annapolis

Alexandra K: This was my first and only time trying saltenas! I absolutely love them, and I come here all the time. Since I haven't tried them elsewhere, I have no comparison point.

Silvia Murillo: Hi, I was so happy to find Salteñas in DC, the owner is very nice and has a good disposition with her clients, but people that make these call saltenas, will hurt her business, I’m sure she makes delicious ones, but what I got today was very disappointing, No Flavor!! In fact very bad, I like to consume her product if she over sees the cook... very sad!! I hope they improve to expand their business, don’t sell this to the public unless...you try and taste. What a waste of time and money!!!👎🏻👎🏻

Patrick Foxworthy: Feels mass produced and not handmade. Undersized and overpriced. Stiff, overworked, not flaky dough. Minimal filling overwhelmed by a soup forward stew mix. Charge for bland sauces. Save your time and money and hit Columbia Pike when you want a saltena.

J R: They don’t follow their updated hours. Every time I’ve come in no one is there.

JAVIER MARQUEZ: (Translated by Google) Bad customer service and I had saltena (Original) Mala atencion al cliente y mo tenia saltena

Cafe Citron: what do users think?

Amanda Blake: Clubby atmosphere with GREAT Latin music, amazing food, killer happy hour deals, and excellent service! The Latin hot dogs and beef arepa are both fantastic and a steal (2 hot dogs for $8 in THIS town??), plus happy hour is every night from 6 to 8. We were there pretty early for just dinner, but it would be an epic dance spot later in the night. 10/10 can't wait to go back!

Ed: Good vibe and good food. Definitely a place I will visit again, staff is friendly and music is great. After 9:30 pm the vibes gets better. Recommended

Jaime D: Good drinks and good music. Vibe was great but food was disgusting. You'll come here to hang out with drinks and do a little dancing with friends/ppl but you won't come here for the food.

Tariro Chimhandamba: If you're new to DC and looking for chilled vibes in the early evening and a party later that night this is definitely the place to go. The bartender are super friendly the drinks are amazing. Just a reall great atmosphere, it caught me off guard but i really enjoyed myself. Good priced food and drink's. Favorite drink was a Moscow Mule

Veronica: This is for the club. The music is great. Apparently though, they will restrict water unless you continue to buy alcohol. I do believe this is ilegal no? Very disappointed that this establishment would withhold water from people who need it. To quote the bartender: " I can't keep feeding you water all night".

Gerald Mansfield: Had a wonderful time here last night celebrating a bachelorette party with a couple of our girlfriends, we had no idea that he shows existed at this location. Now that we have attended the show at this location for the bachelorette party last night and had their food, we will definitely be back. What a hidden gem

sol sol: the food is good and the place very fun.

Jose Martinez: This may be the best nightclub for the Hispanic community! However, they did make numerous discriminatory decisions against Deaf/HH partygoers. I went there many times, but the bartender was very busy and stressed. Too bad! We are using our phone to communicate what kind of drinks we want. That's extremely easy to read to allow them understand, rather than screaming at their ears for their damn drinks. All of a sudden, the woman quickly waved/flipped our phone. She mentioned, "I cannot communicate with you because you cannot hear." Oh, this is 2022! There are many devices and apps to communicate with each other. Let's preparty first, then enter that bar without asking them for a drink. They are extremely rude.

Marilyn Sanin: Amazing night scene, owner is spectacular! Great drinks, music, and lively crowd! They even have a smoking room upstairs! Love this place, fave club in DC

Michael John: This establishment is extremely racist and did not let my friend in because he is asian. DO NOT go here and support this racist bar. Find somewhere else.

Old Ebbitt Grill: what do users think?

Natalia Mednikov: There are straightforward American-style food. This restaurant is best known for its huge old-school oyster bar—think lots of dark wood, brass fixtures, and big mirrors. That oysters was fantastic and fresh. We’ve enjoyed also cheese sampler, fried calamari and baked oysters. Everything they do is absolutely delicious. The service was very fast and friendly. We were happy to choose this great restaurant to end our busy day in Washington, D.C.

Tiberiu Hrihorciuc: Loved the experience! Tasted a dozen oysters and each one was more delicious than the other. Wine is very fairly priced. Saw it more expensive in some New York wine discount stores. The fish was such a huge portion when they split it in two plates we told them that we did not order 2 plates but to our surprise that was a full plate. If you get a chance to go to happy hours for oysters don't hesitate!
Response: Thank you, Tiberiu!

Aditya Karandikar: Had an awesome time here as a late night/ early next day stop. The food was quite nice and fairly refined, especially at such a late hour! The atmosphere was popping as well which made it more enjoyable. Service was very friendly and they had great oysters. Fresh complimentary bread never hurts either…

Sam M: This place is one of the more famous restaurants in DC. I visited this spot during brunch and it was packed. I would definitely recommend making a reservation for both weekend dinner and brunch services. I started with New England clam chowder and some salad dish. For entrees, I got eggs benedict and catfish. All the dishes I ordered were pretty good. But, I definitely enjoyed their desserts more even though I was pretty full before it. Their key lime pie and salted caramel bread pudding were both amazing! Staffs were very accommodating and attentive during the whole service. I’m planning to visit this restaurant and will get some oysters and burgers next time. I heard they are pretty good. I definitely recommend this place to celebrate any special occasions.

Suzi Figueroa: Wow, wow and wow! A friend recommended this establishment to me when I asked for dining recommendations for my upcoming DC trip. I am so glad I listened. The warm and inviting ambiance matched the service. And the food? Oh my goodness. Delicious. My SO ordered meatloaf. Who knew meatloaf could take on a such an extraordinary presentation.
Response: Suzi, Thank you for visiting Old Ebbitt Grill and leaving a great review! We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience and we hope to have you back again the next time you're in town.

Mary H: What a DC institution. I've been here numerous times taking "out of town" guests but always failed to write a review... This place is busy and crowded... so make a reservation. Service is attentive and friendly. Try to get a seat in the atrium, much nicer and brighter. *turkey club-generous portions of turkey. It was good and the fries were nice and hot. *salad greens- tasty, I wanted something light. *calamari-nice and crispy. They have a good selection on their menu, we just weren't that hungry. It's kinda the place to go when you visit DC.
Response: Thank you, Mary!

Amy Workman: If you're worried that this a nice place turned tourist trap that cuts corners, worry not. We had a fantastic experience and the food was superb. Our server was in his 9th year here and I wished he could've just sat and talked with us all night. They were wonderfully accommodating and welcoming of our kids, which you definitely can't say about a lot of places. Some places know that if the kids are happy the parents are more than happy to get another round and more dishes. And then when we're sans-kids someday, we'll definitely be back to sit at one of the beautiful bars. We had the walrus raw bar which was perfect for us never having had raw oysters. They did a little of each kind they had that night and I had no idea oysters could taste so different. We had the mussels, kids mac and cheese, and sausage pasta dish. The pasta was house made and the sauce creamy and spicy. So good. After dinner we walked it off around the White House. I've spent much more at restaurants and not gotten half as much food or nearly as good as service, so even though it was our most expensive meal in DC it was also our best value. Definitely a must-go in DC.

Elaine Viegas: AMAZING! There is no other word to describe it. Since we arrived until we paid the service was perfect. I couldn’t be more happy for their food, service and kindness on my birthdays lunch. We didn’t mention that it was my birthday but they saw on my profile and as soon as I arrived they asked to confirm and no only brought my desert with a candle and a cute chocolate happy birthday place on the top. Our server was amazing, she arrived singing happy birthday, was very classy and really surprised me. Thank you for the excellence in your service. BTW the food it’s top quality, my oysters and shrimps were fresh abs really tasteful.

Jelena M: Great food, great price, great service! The waiter we had was so nice, knowledgeable, and friendly! The calamari was very good, but watch out for the spicy peppers in it . My salad was yummy! I usually never order salads, but I am glad I did as the dressing was citrusy and refreshing! They also give warm bread and butter while you wait 😍
Response: Jelena, Thank you for stopping by Old Ebbitt Grill and leaving a great review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your experience and look forward to having you back again soon!

Matthew Hanna: This was a pretty cool place to eat. It is so old but very nice inside. Lots of preserved animals I didn't expect to see like sea turtles, walrus and more. The food was great and I really liked the drinks. You can still visit and get a really good burger and fries for like $18 or you can go all out and pay $100+ for a super delicious entree. Either way the alcohol is good.

El Pike Bolivian Restaurant: what do users think?

David Vo: PLEASE Do youreself a favor and GO HERE!!! This place is beyond fantastic, priding itself as one of the oldest Bolivian restaurants in the DMV area! Such an iconic location. If you are in DC, you need to come here and try this restaurant out. Staff and customer service are so friendly, I met a lady named Mimi there who I think is the owner and she provided me such welcoming hospitality. I felt important and cared for as a customer when I went in here. I proudly support! I came here for the Salteñas and this place did not dissapoint. One of the best salteñas I've had in my life. Here is what I ordered and my thoughts on them: 1) Chicken Salteña - So delicious. Everything in here was perfect and well-seasoned. My partner ate this and he said it was a little too much on the sweet side, by overall, it's delicious. It's an explosion in my mouth with so may different flavors. I just recommend that they keep their salteñas on a thick side, not too soupy or else the liquid will drip everywhere. 2) Beef Salteña - Just as wonderfully delicious! Definitely recommend! Overall, I am in love with their salteñas. I'm definitely coming here to try more bolivian food because I'm such a fan of Bolivian cuisine. Please see the Resources photo I attached on their App and social media. Wonderful experience, I'd rate this a 10/10!

Phillip Brodzinski: Had a lunch! The owner was super friendly and the meal was delicious. The empanada was wonderful. She explained the menu and gave me a great meal! Will definitely be back.
Response: Thank you very much.

Wil M: Latest update (June 2021): Last visit was greasy… 🤢 Update: We have come come about 5 times and have to say the service and flavor has decrease in quality. We are thinking about giving this place a long break till they bring back the good cooks and waitress 😒 ———————————————————————— Good taste and portions, fair prices, will come back again. (Silpancho and Pollo Saltado)
Response: Hi Wil thank you so much for your review and yes unfortunately COVID did affect our staff. I hope you do give us another visit unfortunately we cannot bring some people is imposible we have been training new staff. we are open in this location 33 years and we understand your feedback and we are growing to continue to serve you flavor. #ElPike #Restaurant #Bolivian #Food

Estefany Zelaya: Almost shed a tear while eating Falso Conejo!!! Same ingredients as how my grandmother would make them! This place is a gem! ♥️♥️
Response: Thank you for visiting us, transport, the customer to their families and Bolivia, through the sabvor is our gool.

Enrique De Anda: The place is a wonderful and fun place to spend time at while eating very delicious salteńas along with horchata, 100% recommend to try this place out !!!

Emilie Salinas: Best Trancapechos in town guarantee to fill big apetites and it comes with fries. Great taste tender meat.
Response: Hi Emilie thank you so much for sharing how much you love the trancapechos, we are grateful that you let us do the cooking so you can do the enjoying. Receive good vibes from us

Natalie Larenas: I have been going to this restaurant since I was a little girl. Although my family is ecuadorian, having salteñas is home to me. I love the salteñas and just about all food made here. Its so delicious.
Response: Thank you Natalie for your 5 stars after 32 years of serving we may know a few things about serving freshly, home made flavor, meals. In Arlington Virginia

Ea Monphen: Authentic Bolivian food. Very delicious just like eating in a restaurant in Bolivia. The food will sooth the craving for any home sick Bolivian for sure.
Response: Ea Thank you so much for taking the time to give us 5 stars. Thank you so much for visiting us and enjoying our food we hope to see you soon

Zelma Bowman: The first Bolivian restaurant in Falls church VA, love the food but the prices are high now for sure
Response: Thank you Zelma so much for the four stars review, we have been serving Bolivian food for 33 years and we have witnessed the ups and downs of the economy in this roller coaster. Yes prices have increased everywhere including our Arlington location, We have a saltenas special until March 26 3 for $10.00 Thank you for the visit

Ali Reza: Very friendly staff. Good Bolivian food.

Luzmila's bolivian restaurant: what do users think?

Rita Jones: A perfectly adequate and convenient location for saltenas and empanadas in the Falls Church area. Reasonable priced. As for the saltenas, they were smaller and sweeter than traditional but were seasoned well. We can't complain and we might just return.....but won't be going out of our way 🤷. We came in during the weekday lunch time and were served quickly for take out although it was busy for sitdown. A good sign and good customer service.

Alexander: Absolutely delicious! I’ve never tried Bolivian food before, only hear how tasty it was from one of my Bolivian friends. I put my questions. Today after having some delicious salteñas! Also enjoyed the pupusas. The prices was very reasonable, and service was prompt. I absolutely recommend trying this restaurant!

Emilie Salinas: I had high expectations going here as this place has high rates. We ordered Chairo, Fricasé and Salteñas. Food is fresh but having tried the original dishes was a bit disappointed with the flavor of the Fricasé. Chairo flavor was good but I was surprised they made it with chicken and beef as Chairo is with lamb and it is the "chalona" that gives the true flavor. Also it seemed that they added to much soup to the Chairo and Fricasé so portions would look more generous. Salteñas had to much potatoes as a filler. Moconchichi drink was good. If you are looking for true bolivian maybe try somewhere else otherwise food is not bad.

JORGE SUAREZ HURTADO: It was very tasty but the mocochinchi was not up to the standards of others I have tried. The cuñape was not very tasty compared to other places. However, the salteña and the cheese empanada were delicious.

Brandon Pa: Ordered a Silpancho meal through DoorDash and the portion is pretty generous. Besides the steak it comes with two eggs, potatoes and rice on the bottom, a piece of bread, and tomatoes and onions as toppings. Since I got this delivery, the breading of the steak was a little bit soggy. But I’m sure it was crispy when it first came out. I felt that there could’ve been more flavor, but overall I think it’s good considering the portion. I would definitely try this place again and would like to order their other options

Archbishop Dr Smith Abrams Almasi MDiv DD THD PhD: Very Family oriented environment. Excellent food. Very fast. Great management team.

Miguel Ramos: This place makes the most authentic style salteña I have tasted this side of my native La Paz. Chicken or beef you will not be disappointed.

Mischa: I found the ordering process to be a bit confusing, because I thought I could order my food at the counter and then find a table to sit. So I ended up eating outside, and there was only one table outside (should be a few more), but luckily it was empty. Otherwise, the saltenas tasted very good I think. I had one chicken and one beef saltenas. I also had a horchata, it was my first time having a Bolivian horchata. It tasted different from an El Salvadoran or Mexican horchata, but it was still good. The prices were also fair.

Aroz Khalid: When you walk in it smells amazinggg! And the food is truly divine, All hit no miss :) wish we came to falls church more often to try different stuff from them 😋😋

yeeetser Flex: The food is really good the meats that they use also really good food quality good staff members really nice the menu is a little bit confusing and their hours are pretty strict but this place has delicious food.

Luzmary's Bolivian Restaurant: what do users think?

Cruz Nestler: What an amazing little Bolivian restaurant! My family is from Bolivia so they took me to this VERY authentic Bolivian restaurant to let me experience the food they grew up on. Food was amazing and the servers went above and beyond to accommodate my ignorance. There may be a small language barrier as most of the wait staff are from Latin America BUT they go out of their way to make you feel at home. I tried so many new things and really enjoyed the overall experiences here! Definitely drop in and see these guys!

Mischa: Very nice place to have a Saltenas! The Saltenas were very nice. The staff were okay. The price on the laminated food menu was inconsistent with the price I paid. The laminated food menu said that one Saltenas was 2.75, but cost me 3.50 on my receipt. Also, the website for this restaurant says “insecure,” when it should have a lock icon instead. Otherwise, all else was good. They also had this interesting Bolivian beer, which was almost like a combination between a malt soda and a root beer, with a low alcohol content. The trancapecho sandwich is very good, too. Also has indoor seating (too loud for my own personal tastes in the main room on a Friday night), a small room for carry out orders, and a few outdoor seats (which is where I sat). Nice place overall.

Vicki: This place was pretty great. I really liked the silpancho I ordered until i tried my friends food which was way better. They got a stew dish and that was probably the way to go. The service was great and the beer selection was unique. I'll be back to try more things on the menu.

Meg Earsley: Excellent food, we loved it! We’d never had Bolivian food and the staff were very helpful. Everything we ate was delicious, the flavors were outstanding. Highly recommend.

Nathan Maynes: We went here for a quiet night out and enjoyed the food. Parking is out front in a small parking lot which can be a little awkward when the restaurant is busy. The service was prompt and professional. Food options are great and provide a few different choices for those looking to enjoy Bolivian cuisine. I ordered Fricase, which is a stew with large chunks of pork and corn. The broth was full of flavor and there was plenty to eat. This is a great option for anyone looking for Bolivian food in the Northern Virginia area.

Samrawit Seid: My first Bolivian meal experience. Food was good the the local Dark beer tests very light and a bit sweet. I like my time at this restaurant.

Monica Minaya-Flores: I have been coming to Luzmarys for over 5 years now. Food is good however if you want to wait over 20 minutes just to be acknowledged then I recommend this place. I tried to give this place a chance time and time again however each time its just more disappointing. My drink was forgotten, it took 20 minutes just to get my tab and anything we asked for. They need to invest in better service and more staff.

Omar Oropesa: Oh man, Authentic Bolivian food. I ordered Silpancho, Picante de Lengua, Pollo Empanizado and Sandwich de Chola. Great customer service, great location, great tasting food at a moderate price. Good for the whole family. 👍🏻

FB DMV Events: The peanut soup!!!!! Simply amazing, so filling and comfort food. The peach tea with the seed in the glass (do not remember the correct name) very delicious. Been 2 times this week already.

Angelo Cruz: Always a great experience coming here! Really authentic dishes that reach back to Cochabamba and all of Bolivia! Salteñas are immaculate and the service here is warm, friendly, and wonderful. Will always visit when we're in town!

Khisko Authentic Bolivian Cuisine: what do users think?

Joyce Romero: Wanted some authentic bolivian food in honor of my Gma’s Bday and ended up picking Khisko in Falls Church! I was pleasantly surprised with this spot. I was greeted by a very kind lady who seemed to be the chef and owner. Had the silpancho as my first try and ofc, it was delicious. A Beautiful reminder of where I come from on a special day. Located in Eden Center within the building with the clock on the front. Check them out and support a local small business!

John Velarde: This is one of those small hidden gems that you stumble across occasionally by chance. I've eaten here 2 or 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Bolivian food is similar to Peruvian food, with some different dishes. The portions are very generous. The prices are reasonable. They do special dishes certain days of the week. They are winners. I had the peanut soup which comes with an accompanying side dish, it's a huge portion. Delicious. I also had the Lomo Saltado. There are a couple more dishes I want to try. My only disappointment was the beverage options - it seems to be common in this area that many small restaurants do not have a soda fountain, if you want a soft drink they will hand you a can of coke - I am not a fan of this business model. But that aside, I really like the food and the owners. I highly recommend this place!

Kelly Nelson: Great food. The homemade sausage and cheese were amazing. And the Bolivian peach drink is pretty good, too.

Jerome Wiley Segovia: Restaurant appears to be permanently closed 🤔All lights are turned off during business hours and the scotch tape holding some signs to the window have begun to peel off. Maybe they closed today for a specific reason? (April 13, 2021)

Manuel Weaver: We arrived at this spot for lunch. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. we were warmly welcomed by the staff members and we felt fantastic. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will visit this place again. We recommend this place to all.

J Perez: Great food, small little hole in the wall. Definitely recommend!

Dean Bryson: This is a great change of pace for the eden center. A great family owned Bolivian restaurant with large portions, so order accordingly.

Dennis Guzman: Great food, if you have the taste for bolivian food.

Addis Olmis: Great food.

Steven Perez: Stopped by for lunch and food was delicious!

Corado's: what do users think?

Martina Rosen: Do NOT order a burrito here. It is almost entirely unseasoned white rice. I’m not joking or exaggerating. I’ve never seen anything like it. Over ten dollars for a flour tortilla filled with plain white rice. I mean filled. There was a thin strip of black beans and a bit of guacamole, but a 3” diameter core of white rice made up almost the entire inside of the burrito. I ordered a veggie burrito with all the fixings.

Kaia Zawadi: This place is really a nice quaint place to chow down at. While walking around the hood we saw this place and I said this is it! We were greeted by the owner and she talked to us about Bolivia while offering us samples of the horchata drink. Everything was tasty! I had to have the lomo saltado and when I say it was one of the best things I ever ate in life, I mean that! The french fries were so crunchy even with the sauce soaked in each of the fries they stayed crunchy. I don't know what kind of sorcery that was but it was so delicious. My husband had the burrito and he demolished it. Yummy, I think I may go there for dinner tonight.

Ethan Russell: I would say the chicken burrito I had was one of the top 3 burritos I've had in my life. Excellent food, good atmosphere and polite waitress! Will be back 🙂

Erika Johanna: Corado’s was delicious. I had the cutest lunch date with my boyfriend here and had a frozen margarita, ceviche (which was soo good 🤤), sopa de res, and flan. Definitely would recommend the sopa de res, it had great taste and the meat was cooked perfectly which made it super tender. Check this place out for authentic Latin food !!!!

Bigboy Pratama: Newly Renovated and Under New Management. Food Taste Great! The Shrimp Ceviche is Bomb 💣and The Alcoholic Horchata is so refreshing 🤤. A++++++

g j: Amazing food for reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Make sure to try the beef empanadas!

Moshe topas: I’m sorry I didn’t put a picture of my entree, but it was the seafood soup. I’ve had many seafood soups and I was not disappointed at all. Very filling and strong flavors of the sea. I really felt that for $14 they should’ve had a crab or a taste or lobster in there. The setting was gross, especially the drunk guy at the bar didn’t help it all. Other than that it’s a great place for a seafood soup! I’ll return and try other stuff.

Thomas Isidean: Great chicken burrito in this down to earth restaurant with friendly service. The chicken was tender and super tasty. You have the option of black or pinto beans. They also make a veggie version. Good sized portions.

Angie: This place is NOT Guatemalan. They are lacking the staples. They don’t have Rellenitos, or many popular things in Guatemala. Very disappointed, we ended up getting side dishes bc everything was so Americanized. It’s is not really Guatemalan very underwhelming.
Response: We are sorry you feel this way, we have many Guatemalan dishes such as the Plato típico, enchiladas guatemaltecas, tamales, chiles rellenos, etc…. However, if you look at our website you will see that before the pandemic Corado’s had a change in management in which we introduced many Latin American dishes such as salteñas, quesadillas, tacos, lomo saltado, empanadas, ceviche and others that are not Americanized dishes just simply from other Latin American countries. We do hope you enjoyed the food and our service. May you have a blessed day and hope to be able to serve you once more in the near future. Corado’s Management

Javier Rivera: Doing some work with brother in DC. We wanted to get some lunch so because this place was near our work site we went in. My brother and I were very happy with this choice. All we had were cheeseburgers but they were fantastic. Nice place very friendly owner and great cook. 5 stars all around the TV had soccer which was an added plus.
Response: Thank you Javier for stopping by and visiting us! We are glad to hear that you had an incredible experience with us and would love to see you again soon!

Mischa: A very cute and nice little Bolivian Restaurant around the heart of Falls Church. I only had the Saltenas and their maize corn drink, which were both good! The staff were nice and the prices were decent as well. Great place! Update: I tried their trancapecho, which was very good, but it was a bit too small and pricey in my opinion, and it had no mayonnaise on it. I also tried the mocochinchi (peach tea drink), which was also nice.

Nicole: The food was pretty good. Could not believe how HUGE this corn was. It was kind of though to eat, to be honest. But the meat was delicious. The, i guess, nachos were great but wosh they didn't put egg on everything... literally every dish had egg in it.

Yasmin Wayar: Today I bought lunch sopa de mani, sopa de trigo, chorellana y pollo al horno. Experience I had with today was horrible everything had no taste no salt it was watery. I had better food in Luzmary. It is the worst bolivian place ever. I would not reccomend this place and the portions are not that big. The best bolivian place I would recommend and have the best bolivian food is Luzmary. If anyone wants to have good BOLIVIAN FOOD GO TO LUZMARY. This place I won't reccomend at all. Never going back there again.

steffy Enriquez: I ordered empanadas and omintias I had a bad experience with them they did not taste like how they use to. I don’t know if they changed chef but before they were delicious

Djana Mercep: Amazing little place with the best food.

Amin Ganjalizadeh: Great service (our server was Emerson, he's the man) - great food. Had some amazing saltenas (1 chx, 1 beef), and picante mixto. Everything was awesome, will definitely come back.

A L: The waiter was really kind and loved the empanadas! The food was good for the price and we will definitely be coming back!

Vanessa: The food here is so good, I love it so much and they have great salteñas and great service even when they’re busy.

rufo valencia: Flavors here are the closest you can find to Bolivian food. Food here is genuine in spices and freshness. The place is well lit and Sonia, who runs the place, insists in giving you the best Bolivian food possible in Virginia. The women who work here can read in your eyes your gastronomic desires. Little details make the difference. You can actually talk here. You're not hammered by loud and sexist reggaeton music. Caldo de maní is a humble introduction to Bolivian cuisine...

Octavia Harris: I had the worst experience the other day here.I had went to this restaurant a couple of times before.I was approached by one of the staff here and she said "you know this is a Bolivian restaurant. So, I looked at her and said to her and told her that what and she had was offensive.. did it looked like I was confused because I am black. She had started groveling over heard words and deflecting on what she said.I had told her she was rude, her customer service skills was poor and she needs more training at how to speak, greet a customers.I had told all she had all she needed to say was " "how may help and let me know when I was ready".Then to add injury to insult..they didn't have any Saltenas. Why me..???!!!!!!!! Ignorance don't give you an excuse...😖😖😖 Side note: Saltenas are good..smh when you are

Arielle Kone: Incredibly delicious!! We are from out of town and we randomly found this place and my kids said they wished they lived closer because it was so good! The service was wonderful and the food is made by a sweet mama cooking her homemade delights. One of the best lunches I’ve ever had!!

Armando Alvarado: So good! Very friendly staff, helps if you know Spanish.

Wes Hildebrandt: Good Bolivian food, including both chicken and beef saltañas. It's good to call ahead for those to make sure they'll be ready.

Kenneth Benjamin: Delicious, large portion in an unassuming location. Nothing fancy but good food and friendly, simple service. Will be back.

Igor at skvltd.media: Really good Bolivian food and awesome staff!

Maria Rivera: Fast and friendly service, food was authenticly Bolivian and the portions were large.

Andrea Cantori: One of my favorite spots now. Brings so much comfort to have what feels a home cook meal. Highly recommend 💗

Victoria Contreras: I can’t believe I never posted a review here before! Me and my family have been coming here for years, breakfast, lunch and dinner! I love bringing friends here to introduce them to authentic Bolivian food and of course they are hooked. The staff is always super sweet, the restaurant ambience is simple with touches of Bolivian culture but very clean and they have a patio out front. But oh my gosh the food portions are definitely Bolivian sized (Huge). For breakfast we love the traditional hot Api drink with Pastel de Queso. And please if you never tried a Salteña please please try it here. I can’t describe it justice but think a savory chicken or savory stew wrapped in a dough that is a little sweet (kinda like an empanada) …and of course the soup! Think super large pho size, when you crave their soup in the middle of summer you know it’s good.

Okay Sunshine: The food was the freshest packing major flavors!! From steak, fish, chicken, soups, and made-to-order pastries💯💜 the people who work there are polite and efficient. I love the simple comforting the setup and decor felt like I was back at home. Don't be a tasteless fool! Give it a try. You all can thank me later😉

Juan Serrano: Food was amazing and the server went above and beyond for us to have an amazing experience. Highly recommend it.

Brenda Benitez: I can't believe how many cheap people complain about the tip that is added to them! You didn't have to get up to serve yourself your food, they brought you water to the table, cleaned up after you ate and put up with your grumpy faces. The least you can do is leave a good tip to the person who gave you their service. IF YOU HAVE SO MUCH COMPLAINT, EAT AT HOME AND DON'T RUIN THE LIFE OF THE PERSON WHO GIVES YOU THE SERVICE!!!! I hate to read reviews about people services!!!! Be grateful, be patient, and most of all be HAPPY no mater what.
Response: Thank you for the comments some are from other restaurants we can not do nothing about it :-)

Diane Jortner: We found this little placeWhile looking for a great place to eat fast on a Saturday Night. Very authentic, tasty, friendly and quick service. We shared a fajitas plate and one was plenty for us both.
Response: Thank you for the visit

Wally: This place is absolutely horrible. Their customer service is atrocious. Called ahead to pickup an order of for 4 charques at 10am for 12PM (They have a tendency to run out or their kitchen “not working”). The lady who picked up the phone asked me for my name and number. When I arrived they said no order was placed I showed them the 5min phone call on my phone but the other guy just blew it off and said he could have them ready in 15mins - what he meant by 15 was 1 hour. I guess he meant bolivian time. The girl at the front is by far the worst. She asked me 5 times what my order was and if I paid already - WHEN SHE INITIALLY TOOK MY PAYMENT. Foods not worth all the hassle. Super unprofessional. Saw 2 groups of people get up and leave from. it being attended. Avoid at all cost if possible. Go to Panamericana instead.
Response: We love you too thank you for the tip and for the waiting time :-)

Malcolm Jeremy: Food was not what a bolivian dish should be. Service is not good at all, I always like to support bolivian businesses, but there is a limit to everything. On top of everything, they charge automatic gratuity. While this might be legal, law states, and I quote "if a business imposes an automatic gratuity, it must disclose on both the receipt and menu how much" But the receipt they give you doesn't show that. If I didn't ask, the server would not have told me. This is deceitful practice for subpar food. Don't even waste time trying to talk to to a manager. It would be good if employees spoke English. Owner seems to think all bad reviews are "fake", and the good ones are real. I would urge him to not be so ignorant as to respond with nonsense, and actually do something to improve his business as it has the potential to be a great place.
Response: :-( come back any time

Al P: WARNING: THIS RESTAURANT CHARGES 15% TO YOUR BILL WITHOUT FIRST INFORMING CUSTOMERS. Avoid restaurants that use this questionable practice. ORDERED: Salteñas, sailpancho and T-bone steak. PROS: Plenty and convenient parking, the restaurant has been renovated and expanded, it is spacious, fresh, clean and well maintained. Saltenas are big and filling, food is reasonably priced, the menu has multiple Bolivian options to dine, plates are big enough to satisfy your appetite. No waiting line on a Sunday afternoon. Overall the food is OK. CONS: Only one waitress working on a Sunday afternoon, big delays providing attention to customers, waiter very slow (why hurry, tip is forced to customers), the saltenas are ok but could have more taste. This restaurant adds 15% tip to your check WITHOUT informing you first: charging without initial consent is arguably an illegal practice. RECOMMENDATION: Restaurant and food is OK. THIS RESTAURANT CHARGES 15% TO YOUR BILL WITHOUT FIRST INFORMING CUSTOMERS. Avoid restaurants that use this questionable practice.
Response: Thank you for the review, as you post on the pictures, and no need to scream, you just read and says we charge 15% Gratuity when......... the service is more than 50 dollars, so 1 star restaurant or 5 star restaurant will do the same, if you are not welling to pay the gratuity... NEXT TIME ........ try to talk with the manager and explain your discomfort to pay gratuity for the service you receive, or let us know if you want to just give 2 dollars tip we are here to serve you even if you don't want to give a 11 dollars tip

Idalia Zelaya: BAD BAD BAD place to dine or take out, service SLOW, and take out do not get what you paid or order. IF you call them they hang up the phone or they say they do not have TIME.
Response: We love you too come back any time and enjoy again

Elicia Johnston: SO GOOD!! I ordered the white meat chicken with rice and plantains! Great food and price!
Response: Thank you for the visit :-)

sejas car wash llc: We stop by to taste the food, and was delicious pique macho, picante mixto, 3 hermanos, and the almuerzo completo , oviously we have salteñas to go and maybe will come back for the api, the service was not good but the food it is what matters, maybe the lady that serve the tables will be a little less Angry face and stop using her cellphone all the time and puts more attention to the tables will be perfect even we can put more tips on the table but who cares the attention when the food is perfect will back for the second round :-)
Response: It was a pleasure to serve you :-)

Kogda Achapkin: I come to this restaurant several times a month to get cheese empanadas and sometimes chicken saltenas to go. Always the best quality, fresh, delicious and taste is amazing!! I usually finish 1-2 right away on my way to work. Sometimes i buy extra empanadas to treat my team at work as everyone loves them and everything is usually gone before EOD. Thank you for consistently tasty and fresh food!!
Response: Thank you for the comment and for the visits

Ed Cogo: I have stop by for saltenhas, most of the time they do not have them. Please try to keep up with it.Thanks
Response: The salteñas are made every day some times they fly soon that we suspect

Ema Klimaitė: Amazing Peruvian restaurant. The ambience and the interior decor is fantastic! Ceviches (or anything you order) are delicious. Also, great Pisco sours! Specialty dishes are often updated. Staff is professional and friendly. Very much recommend this place!

Kassandra T: My fiancé and I had a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner here. They even provided a rose with our reservation! We wanted to try a little bit of everything and got: calamares fritos and tiraditos for apps, ají de gallina and seco de res for entrees, and the buñuelos and flan for dessert. I thought everything was delicious and authentic although I thought there would be picarones (Peruvian donuts) rather than the buñuelos which come from Colombia, Mexico and other countries. I’d come back again!

Jen Massabki: Both the food and ambiance of this place are excellent. I loved every dish I ordered and every drink. The waiters are incredibly nice and the service is fast. The decor was very cool and so was the music. All around a great experience! I totally recommend this place.

Courtney Swisher: I would give 10 stars if I could. This is place is a gem - not only because the food is fantastic, but the service is bar-none. COVID has obviously been hard on the restaurant industry, but you would never know from the excellent service, wonderful ambiance and fair prices. We called to inquire about outdoor seating for a Sunday night dinner. Since it was too cold to comfortably eat outside, the manager set aside a private space inside just for me and my partner. We were able to sit away from anyone else, which allowed us to dine indoors for the first time since the pandemic started. The manager also took the time to made sure the seating and lighting were to our liking. Our attentive waitress checked in with us often to make sure everything was perfect. We ordered from the restaurant week menu and loved being able to sample the highlights. The ceviches were beautifully crafted and the fish incredible fresh. The beef in the lomo saltado and yakitori was tender and well-seasoned. I also ordered the trout, which was perfectly cooked. The drink menu has a lot of tasty options and is definitely worth exploring more. I would absolutely eat here again and recommend El Secreto de Rosita to anyone looking for a wonderful meal! And the complimentary sparkling wine for our anniversary didn't hurt either :) Thank you for unforgettable service and a beautiful night!

Emily Zier: Arturo was so wonderful! Walked in and didn’t have a reservation but he set me up with a drink from the bar and had me seated inside quickly even though it was pretty busy! Great drinks from the bartenders and such great food! Mussels, short rib, and steak were a hit. Had a wonderful night thanks to y’all. Will be back!

Marco Capriles: Tasty food and you MUST let them choose your cocktail! I had and Amazing night with 10 people and got to know great people working there. Keith!! Makes amazing shots (i still don't know the name of it) Renato (best host ever! So kind and knowledgeable about the place)

Stephanie Scholz: Everything about this place was so lovely. The ambiance was on point, the drinks were great (love pisco!), the food was delicious, and the wait staff were super friendly and kind.

Anahi Amaya: The food and the experience and the service was just amazing. We celebrated our friend birthday here and restaurant set up is beautiful very open and safe place. staff was amazing…. drinks and food were beyond expectations! This is truly a gem. 100% recommend this place

Zuley Domínguez: one of the best places to eat Latin food, the food is fantastic, the place beautiful and the environment really great i’d love to give 10 stars if i could, Super recomendable

Evelyn Quiroz: The food and service here was amazing. Our server was very attentive and helpful in picking out cocktails and food. All of their cocktails were good, we started first with the Chicha Morada. The Chicha Morada was similar to classic Peruvian drink, but a bit frothier.

Ali Tavakoli: I love Bolivian food. I am from Los Angeles and we do not have many options out there. This place was amazing. The offerings were delicious plentiful. I had silpancho that was cooked perfectly. My wife had falso cornejo that was also very delicious. We also tried the charque and some empanadas... All were delicious. I will be returning whenever I visit the area. And I'll be praying they open a location near Los Angeles.

Paola Chavez: They have good food overall, my only issue is that I can never order from them over the phone, I believe they run with one phone line...which is always busy, so 70% of the time we end up ordering from somewhere else. They need more phone lines to take orders.

Kenia Hurtado: Usually pretty good! Their sopa de maní and salteñas have not disappointed, yet. I did order the lapping once and it looked boiled and grayish, we ultimately just decided to throw it out.

Deb Mer: Stopped in to buy some Saltenas. The service was quick and the Saltenas were fresh. They tasted okay, the filling was delicious but the dough was not as good as others I have had.

Stephen Green: Pretty authentic food, with a good variety of traditional dishes. Very much a "locals" place, meaning if you aren't familiar with Bolivian food, you may find it "heavy" or just different from Mexican, Peruvian or other Latin food. Worth the the experience and good service :)

Honest Review: Literally the most authentic Bolivian food in the DMV. Delicious !! Their lunch special is great!!

J.N.M.H REA: Food was kinda bad but you can still enjoy it. the price was fair and so were the portions. Will not be coming back.

Exiled Fromlight: Great food, tasty saltenas/empanadas. Place needs improvement on their service.

Les Douglas: Falso Conejo was excellent! Great flavor, sauce was excellent. Would’ve preferred with rice rather than noodle but appreciate the authenticity for the region

Hector Gamez: If you wanna try Bolivian food this is a good option;tasty, flavorful food

Paola Aguirre: The service was great!! The place was a bit run down. We ate in the basement , as we opened the door, you could smell the mold & mildew. Even while wearing the mask. The food was ok. It had no flavor.

Mariana: The pique macho will feed two of you, the pastel was fresh. But pass on the cheese empanadas - they're more dough than cheese.

Boris Alvarez: Bolivian food. Goos stuff. No a/c

Bruno Saracho: Worst Bolivian place joint... asco!!!

Jonathan Ochoa: (Translated by Google) We made the mistake of coming here and spending our money. The aji de lengua had two different noodles and was chewy. The food was ugly and they served us well little. We were ten people and they made us wait 30 minutes for each dish and then they forgot a whole dish. I will not come back again. This is undoubtedly my last visit to this place after a few years without having returned again ... ☹️😖 My rating for this place is 2 and still yes, not worth all this ... Salteñas Deli | Empanadas: what do users think?

Jim S.: Authentic Bolivian "Arani style" salteñas. Having lived in Cochabamba 7 years, I've long searched for a true salteña here in the US (most just don't get the pastry right). Though no quail egg, a piece of chicken egg served well and the juice inside was savory and a little sweet. (picante salteñas are available if ordered in advance). And the smell of them hot out of the oven brought me back to the "llajta". This is a home-based catering service, so don't expect a sit-down or store setting. Well done! My search has ended!

Karla Rodriguez (KRod): I found this place by Googling, and when I saw the great reviews and how close to home it was, I was on it! I was able to pick them up frozen and heat them up at home! They were delisioso! I’m going back next week and ordering a Bolivia dish! It is a house so don’t be turned off by that. The cook is very sweet and the Saltena was very very juicy and smaller like in my native country Bolivia. They offer Saltenas all week and specialty dishes on Sunday only.
Response: Thank you for your choice

JG Remodeling: We bought 10 salteñas (chicken and steak) and loved them. We usually drive 1-1.5 hours to get salteñas because we are so particular, but these were delicious and local! Family/home based business. We are excited to have found this place and we highly reccomend it.
Response: thank you for choosing us

Shawn Borja: I would love to order from here because i have loved saltines since i was kid. If someone speaks english i would be able to place an order. The two times i called though nobody was able to understand me. 5 Stars to keep this place alive! I haven't tried yet but i live in the neighborhood and this would be extremely convenient if i was able to place orders.
Response: Thank you

TURTLE: Very good as a Bolivian this was actually like food from Bolivia although some might like it better in Bolivia than here
Response: thanks

Lorena Rojas: There is no empanada place here this residential home. Where is your brick and mortar place so I can try them?

Vanessa Amaya: First time here and I must say the food was delicious 😋. Bolivian cuisine from the city of Santa Cruz. The staff is very friendly from the moment you enter the establishment. Very welcoming and feels almost like you are at someone's home. The food is made to order so it's hot and fresh. They offer many sweet treats from the bakery as well as specialty plates offered on the weekends. If you are in the area I recommend you stop by and try the food. You will enjoy it.
Response: (Translated by Google) Thank you very much for coming with your family and tasting these delicacies from eastern Bolivia. It was a joy to receive them. Thank you, many blessings (Original) Muchas gracias por venir con su familia y degustar estas delicias del oriente boliviano fue una alegría recibirlos. Gracias, muchas bendiciones

CARMEN ANTELO: Every dish I tried at this Bolivian food restaurant was delicious! The high level of cleanliness of the place is noticeable and great customer service make me come back to this place very often. Todo lo que pruebe aquí será delicioso y a precio justo! Lo único malo es que cierran temprano 😢

Mischa: Cute little place to enjoy saltenas (which is what I had). The saltenas were good! I also had some kind of a cheese empanada, which was good as well. I just wish there was a better selection of drinks, especially Bolivian drinks. I wanted something Bolivian, but ended up getting a coffee instead. Some people, like me for example, like brown sugar in their coffee and there was no brown sugar. The staff were okay. Overall, this place was good.

Gabriel Sheehan: Very good place, the empanada salteñas was fresh and very good. I need to go back for more.

Amanda Casteel: Delicious Bolivian food!! The brisket is amazing! Try the peanut soup!

paul ribera: Restaurant has awesome Bolivian pastries and excellent customer service. Antonio went out of his way to make me feel welcomed in his restaurant and engaged in great conversation about the food and traditional Bolivian food. I came into the restaurant almost at closing time and he made fresh empanadas de queso and sonso, needless to say the food exceeded my expectations. Great job Antonio!

sthefany coronel: 100% recommend, best food you’ll find

Natalia R.: Camba Cafe not only has great food but also their staff represents the great hospitality found in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The owner, Don Antonio and his daughter Rosita are extremely hardworking and always welcome you with a smile. I've been eating there since last year occasionally and the food is delicious and their service is 100%! Wish them the best, definitely try it out if you are in the area.
Response: (Translated by Google) Thank you very much, it was a pleasure to serve you (Original) Muchas gracias fue un placer atenderlos

Jonathan Quiroz: The cake was the worst. No flavor. Dry as cardboard. Like it was in storage for days. There was supposed to be some Dulce De Leche in the middle but nothing. Either it was a thin layer thin like paper or it somehow disappeared. I don't recommend this place if you want a good cake.

Valeska Chavez: Absolutely my favorite Bolivian restaurant! Great food and friendly staff. I LOVE their Cuñapes

Julia's Empanadas: what do users think?

Allan Christopher Pin Drew: Cheap and cheerful shop with tasty empanadas. A few vegetarian options (thank you!) and pork/beef/chicken as well, including chorizo and some fun mixes.

Lou Costanza: Make sure you bring cash if you want to buy anything at this place. While they state they accept credit cards for purchases over $10, today was my second visit where they claim the credit card machine was down. Highly suspect… Anyway, the Chilean empanadas are very good here. I’d consider coming more often, but who carries cash these days? Solid 3 stars.

Adam Winstanley: Service was not so great! The person behind the counter was not very attentive. Even though the empanadas were good they were way over priced. $39 for six empanadas? Seriously? And I could not get a receipt because their “printer” was not working. The person behind the counter would not even separate the empanadas so I couldn’t tell which ones were which and I had to cut them open when I got home. Very inconvenient. I probably won’t be back here for a while.

Timothy David: Empanada heaven. We may have over done it with 7 BUT each empanada, hand rolled, is stuff with such unique ingredients that each one was amazing in its own way. Another great quick stop for a snack while venturing through DC.

Rose Croshier: A portable, delicious lunch for $6! Can’t beat it! Am wishing they’d get back to making salads though- Fresh greens would round out the meal.

Bill Robertson: Wow! Amazing empanadas! Tried 4 different flavors, and all were excellent: Saltena, Chilean, Turkey and Chorizo. The Saltena had green bell peppers which was not listed in the ingredients but did not overwhelm the flavor, which was excellent. The Chilean is the favorite empanada here, was recommended by the staff, and it did not disappoint. Not very spicy, but very flavorful, with a zest that will leave you wanting more. Cash only spot, but worth the trip to the ATM.

Stephen House: Very pretty looking pastries, but mostly empty and WAY overpriced. It was about 8pm. I got a pear almond pastry. There was almost no filling. Tasted kind of like almond extract but it was mostly dried up pastry dough. For $3 + tip, I was not impressed at all. I threw most of it away because I’m already fat and I don’t need to waste my daily calories on plain dough. Sorry, Julia. Maybe it was just an off day or something but I’ve had better empanadas at Taco Bell, for $1.

Scotty Leach: I smelled the place before I got there — you can smell the delicious scent of empanadas before you arrive. Once inside, the small shop draws you toward the empanadas lined up in their warming case, enticing you to get one (or more). I decided to get two for lunch, one Chilean (beef + veggies and spices) and one Salteña (curried chicken + olives, veggies, and egg). The Salteña was phenomenal. At $6 each, it’s slightly pricey, but worth it if you’re hungry and want something hand-made, tasty, and quick. The only thing I didn’t love was the $10 minimum for credit cards. That’s a pretty high minimum, and it means you have to get at least two empanadas if you didn’t bring a debit card or cash. The colorful art on the entrance is lovely and draws your eye, once you get close. Try Julia’s! Make sure to grab napkins :)

Sisi Koleva (siscenceto): Price: taste=4 starsI got guava and pear, almond and pear and one vegan one. All were tasty, but the guava one was especially good. My meat loving friends loved the Jamaican one and the spinach one

Hanna _: Go to spot in the dmv area for empanadas!! They are SO GOOD, especially the Jamaican and Chilean ones 🤤 There's a $10 minimum for credit cards but there is an atm inside the store (which is tiny) or you can just buy multiple empanadas (as u should) and FEAST They are also open very late on Saturdays and right near the dupont bars making it a great night out snack!

Cristina's Carry Out: what do users think?

Juan R.: I never rate restaurants poorly on service but Christina's have outdone themselves. Long story short, we drive from Chantilly to get pickup, get home and realize we got the wrong item. We feel silly for not checking sooner, but know we're in the right so we call for a refund. Firstly, they confirm they gave us the wrong food but tell us they will not refund until the items are returned to the store. Since it's a long drive, we offered to send pictures of receipts and untouched food which they refused. We asked why we had to drive to their store twice for their mistake. Again no explanation. Secondly, once we made it very clear that we had evidence of purchasing items which they did not give to us, and are now refusing to refund us, they threatened to just charge the cashier for the meals since it had been her fault. Essentially switching to guilt tripping to try to get out of undoing the wrong. We tried to understand their suspicions of eating the meals and then asking for refund, so we offered pictures of the food in the trash, in its entirety, which of course was not enough. Anyhow, Cristina will be dealing with the credit card vendor and I would advise anyone who wrongly chooses to dine here to do the same so they can get their money back if they're robbed by the business owners.

Juan Carlos Recinos: To me this was more like a home made food Bolivian restaurant. My group and I went there through a recommendation. I loved the api con pastel and the food that my family ordered.

argus mcduck: Great food and friendly staff. We had great experience.

Mohamed Youssef: If you want a home style cooked Latino meal, this is the best place you could possibly find. I’m glad I decided to try it while waiting for my barber across the street.

FNU MUBASHIR: The server was busy on her cellphone. And has no time to ask if we were ready to order, or if we were happy with food or do we need anything else.

S Thapar: It's a place hidden between house. It itself is a house. The food is as authentic as it gets without going to Bolivia. The service is fast. But seating is limited upstairs but they have an access to basement which has more seating available. Def. Recommend this place if you are in the area.

Nicole Paz: we ordered silpancho and it took about 35 minutes for it to come. when it did come, it was cold. we asked for two waters, we never got them. we were five total, and when the waitress only gave us three utensils and two plates. the music was so loud i couldn’t hear myself talk. there were so many flies everywhere... we were inside for crying out loud! but the food was good so i guess that’s what counts.

Henry McGalem: This place has potential... food is ok, could be better, customer service is not that good.. no menu's available! not even a board that shows what they have available to order once inside the restaurant. Dinner runs about $ 12.00 per person.. I think it's a bit too much for what they offer.. and NO saltenas in a Bolivian restaurant?? what's up with that?? Decor is terrible!

Karen E: Every time that I call to this place for carry out, the person answering the phone (a woman) is always extremely rude and prepotent. She hung up the phone on me many times. She really needs manners or should not be on the phone.

Sofi C: The place is good for to go, if you know the food or you are bolivians, I think you can have a good service, otherwise this place is no for you, they're not give help if you ask something, the price is average and slow service, even if you call for orders.

Pan American Bakery: what do users think?

Colton Waldack: A great place to enjoy authentic Bolivian food. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Don't worry if you don't speak Spanish, the staff speak English and will help you picking items. I personally love the Trancapecho and the Salteñas. Also the bakery items here are outstanding. I recommend the spicy cheese bread. Don't forget to toss some of the fresh green sauce on everything, adds some nice spice. 10/10 love this place.

Ed: Great food at a great price. Recommended!

Zayanie Perry: I got a cake from here and it was terrible. No flavor whatsoever. Not one ounce of vanilla, sugar, or anything. Couldn’t take more than two bites. Definitely not worth your money 🙄

Sheneil Black: Got some jumbo empanadas they said were cheese. It was mostly hollow with some cheese stuck to the crust ( def not a typical empanada); the saltena was good but the pastries were very so-so.

Jim Safley: Every time I go here I get a salteña and a random pastry. Everything I've tried was delicious.

Gabriela Lobo: I am sorry but I have to change my review, very disappointed. I came after a while and order a Lapping, waited and when I got my plate I was sad to see that the meat was not seasoned as a lapping it was more of a carne asada with chimichurri, it was dried and to kill it there was no corn and the haba was old! Oh the salad that comes with it was served with a regular shredded cheese instead of our famous quesillo. You come to a Bolivian restaurant anxious to eat our delicious food and instead you leave mad and disappointed. I will not be coming back to eat but yeah maybe to get salteñas and or bread maybe 😒

Jeanna Williams: I use to frequent Tutto Benes in Arlington for Saltenas but they closed several years ago. Since then I had been deprived and famished until I stumbled across this shop last year. The recipe seems identical...omg chicken or beef, it's a hit!

Javier Larrea: Oh the food the food the delicious food... When I get to visit the DC area I have to always plan my trip around this place... The food and baking goods... Unlimited options... Salteñas! Just try them and repeat haha

Michael Valdivielso: So I ordered from Pan American Bakery & Grill via Grubhub. I had a Promo code from them so I did get some money off. I ordered a Sandwich De Pollo, a Saltenas (Chicken), and Bread Pudding. I ordered it at 2:31 PM and it was finally delivered at 3:34 PM. Yeah, not good. Not for a place about ten minutes away from me by car. But that's not the restaurant's fault. So let us talk about the food. It was all well packaged and protected. The Saltenas was GREAT. I think some of the reviewers say the dough may be too sweet but I liked it. Then I started on the Sandwich. While there were no bones there seemed to be tendons. In other words cartilage. I filled the sauce cup that came with the sandwich with all the pieces. Not very good job at deboning the chicken. I was worried about choking. One star taken away. But at least I had the Bread Pudding! I am a huge fan of Bread Pudding and where ever I go I will always order it. Sometimes it is traditional and sometimes they add to it. But I normally enjoy it. This Pudding was meh. Bland. A lot of it, yes, but uninteresting. I had to force myself to finish. I HAD to FORCE myself to FINISH my DESSERT. Another star gone. So three out of five stars.

chelsea gadiano: Love their tres leches! And their staff were so friendly too!
