Carol Cann: Thank you so much for very helpful phone service and a FABULOUS unicorn balloon bundle for our granddaughter’s sixth birthday!! Due to Covid, we weren’t able to travel to DC for the in-person party that had been planned. Within 24 hours, you arranged the order, delivery time, birthday greeting and even double-checked my email typos to surprise her with an eye-popping, gorgeous collection of balloons that truly delighted her! Wow!! You rock!!

Ellen McCrea: My daughter loved her graduation balloons! The colors were a perfect match and the logo on the huge main balloon was spot on. The arrangement was impressive and made for a wonderful surprise addition to the party she and her roommates were hosting. Delivery was perfect and staff were very responsive to messages regarding logo and a change in delivery date.

CeCe Thomas: My name is Cecelia Thomas and I worked with TONI FOSTER on getting my friend a personalized balloon for his divorce party. Toni could not have been more helpful. He walked me through the options, pricing and delivery information with patience and grace considering I did not know what I was doing. If I ever order from BASHES again, I will be asking for Toni personally and everyone else should too.

Anne Falatko: Bashes was a no show for the birthday I was hosting. I confirmed my order on Friday. I needed the balloons by 10:30am and the customer service assured me it was ok to order and they would have them there at 9am. When the balloons didn't come, I called but they refer you to an email (that was never answered). They texted me at 10:14 asking if I wanted the balloons but that was from a land line and you couldn't respond. So I again, called and said yes- go ahead and bring them while the party is going on. At 10:30 they sent a cancellation notice of the order. Today they sent an email saying that because I couldn't be reached they cancelled the order. It was my fault?? I responded that this was not true and gave these details. Then, someone called to inquire, when I said I was upset and writing a review they hung up on me.
Response: Hi Anne, we appreciate you leaving this feedback and truly anticipated sending a beautiful balloon bundle for this special occasion. Unfortunately, this review is false and did omit that the delivery fee for this order was not paid and an outstanding balance prevented this order from being delivered. Our team reached out to you and you confirmed via email that that was done by mistake and that you would still like to move forward with the order. To finalize any delivery order full payment is required. Over the next two days payment was not completed bd our team made several attempts to reach by phone and email and we never heard back. Our team made one final attempt the morning of you delivery and again, no response. At that point our team canceled the order and issued a full refund and an email confirmation was sent. This was all done prior to your preferred delivery time. These are the real reasons why product was not received and it is not true that our team was a “no show”. This morning over 24 hours after our final email we also received several disgruntled and threatening emails from you. One of our senior team members reached out to reconcile and because of your erratic and extreme behavior the call was disconnected. One rule we start with each day in our office is integrity and after fully refunding your order and reaching out to reconcile there was no further opportunity to continue communication with our company. We wish you the best and hope the occasion was still a great success!

S A: Please beware that a portion of your online order may not be available at this store. When the portion is unavailable they may provide you with what they think is an appropriate substitute without informing you ahead of time. This happened with my order that was delivered with the wrong colors. From other reviews, this is a recurring issue under the current management with Lauren. The solution by party city was for me to return the order to obtain a 15% discount if the delivery person returned it or 20% discount if I returned it in person. This wasn't initially made clear as I had to call the store again to find out why I had not received any refund. The "policies" for what party city offers when THEIR employees make a mistake are absurd. Why would a customer want to drive to the store to return balloons when they were initially ordered for delivery? There is also no guarantee I would get my order when needed if I sent it back by the delivery service. Had someone called me before sending my order out, this would not be an issue. Supposedly, I will receive a refund per Lauren in 3-5 days. In addition, someone else mentioned in a review Lauren hung up on them. While she did say bye, it was an abrupt hanging up as I was mid sentence.

Aurelie Boissy: Place has great stuff for party at affordable price but customer service is not as good! I was looking for an item and two workers kept sending on the back alley instead of helping!

Miss Williams: Management are terrible don’t care about complaints. The staff are even worse. Orders are NEVER ready so I’m not sure why I’m given a pick up time slot when items are ready or they can’t locate. Absolutely worse so I take my business to the Rockville location that’s out my way and never have issues there.

Caroline Godwin: Terrible experience. I put in an order 4 days ago for curbside pickup today. Ordered NYE decorations, confetti poppers and balloons. My husband went to pick up today, balloons out of stock (got several messages they were ready) had to settle for some balloons they picked for us, confetti out of stock, no replacement offered, no email notification. I called the store, she told me they were out of stock since I put my order in and I had likely not been charged! No notification, the confetti were on my invoice when I ordered. So instead of curbside pickup, my husband had to go in to purchase confetti, and was offered the box that is 3 times the price of the ones I ordered. He was told he was getting a discount, but he still paid $12.71 instead of the full $12.99 + tax price. I am beyond angry. Very poor customer service especially for a store in the "party" business!!!!

Angela Jackson: You have a bunch of kids working at your locations who waste customer time. If you can not fulfill an order then tell your customer you are canceling when you call, do not say you are going to partially fulfill an order then turn around and cancel it. Do not say you are coming right out with product if you canceled the order. Completely unacceptable and THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Learn how to communicate or shut the store down. YOU DESERVE ZERO STARS.

noga ibrahim: I’d didn’t have a great experience like the one I had at this store in a along time. The manager, Lauren, and the lady on the cashier were super amazing. Here is what happened. Me and my kid went to the store at 930 pm and it was closed. My son gets all upset because he wanted to get his Halloween costume. He is crying and I am trying to calm him down and promising him that we will come back in the morning, but no luck. Lauren came and was locking the door asked me what is going on and I told that the closing time on the website is different from what they had on the store front. She apologize and ask me to come in the morning and told me that she will give me a discount. She was sweet to my son as well.

Kev- keepingitreal: Party City offers a wide verity of decorating party supplies for your special occasion/event to satisfy your party planning needs and you can get this all at an affordable prices. A staff member who was working the floors was very patient and helpful with assisting us with everything that we needed. Checking out with the cashier I appreciate the staff customer service, they were welcoming, friendly and helpful with our orders. This location was clean and offers plenty of parking spaces.

Lucky DC: They had a lot for a good price. Event got ruined due to no helium in the self tank. Had to return a few days later... they gave me a full refund which I was happy for.

Asia Hardy: Bought a costume accessories pack and as soon as I opened the top part where the glasses were attached one of the lenses fell out. When I tried to return it because of the broken part, mind you the hat and necklace were still sealed due to a three part sealed package. Well the associate told me I could not get a refund because it was opened, yet I explained to him when I opened it the lens fell out and it was clear the rest of the package wasn't opened or the items used, however he still said I could not get a refund for a 17.99 item so they forced me to do store credit and YES I HAD THE RECEIPT. Anywho an 11 dollar bag of fruit chews and one mask later AND IM LIVID, I WILL BE CONTACTING CORPORATE, THIS IS NOT RIGHT AT ALL. I AM NEVER SHOPPING AT PARTY CITY AGAIN.

Darlett Salley: This is what you get at this particular store!! The isles are filled with shipment (most from Halloween), the shelves are empty, the Christmas decor is non-existent, the floors are filthy, and only 2 cashiers during a very busy time!!!The staff was friendly, but REALLY??

melinda woods: Ordered gingerbread house paid online for curbside pick up. Cashier/manager/horrible attitude employee stated they dont even carry the item I paid for and that I received a message was being prepared. Instead of apologizing perfusely, Crystal in a unprofessional and attitudinal manner commenced to arguing with my son's father and threatening to call the police because he was insisting on a refund and she claimed I would only get that from my bank. Store 600 is trash with Liz and Crystal as liabilities as managers. I will be in touch with corporate tomorrow because the gross inconvenience gross unprofessionalism, and just all around terrible business this location is doing.

ShaVon Wright: Purchased an online order for my daughter's party. The candy (Haribo gummy bears) was expired by 3 months and the jolly ranchers were melted down like they had been sitting in an overheated storage area. I was told by the manager that I could not get a refund. Be ware and check your candy before you leave.

S.M. Barnes: This was my first time visiting this location (King St/Rt 7). I can say there was a wide array of balloon choices🎈and the prices 💰 are comparable to what I'm used to paying. When it came time to place my order, it was nothing short of disorganized chaos😳. There was no clear cut line, people just inserted themselves wherever🤬, thereby cutting in front of others who were patiently waiting⌚ their turn. Each of the sales associates looked to be around high school aged and every last one was wearing their mask 😷 improperly... mouth👄 covered but pulled below their noses👃. There was one cashier working and the line of customers wrapped around the store. There were a couple of associates ‍♀️ standing around and finally another cashier opened their register. By this time, I was just ready to pay for my order💲, grab my balloon and leave👋. Hopefully, I can find another store in the area and it be a bit more organized.

Eliza Jay: Yea, it’s a no for me and why does the store smell so bad. They don’t honor policy. Stop selling stale candy to customers. You sit around on your phones all day the LEAST you could do is making sure your stuff is up to date.

David McGowan: This place is so poorly organized with kids running the balloon shop. If you ever have the misery of having to deal with this place give yourself 5x whatever time you think you should be able to just get balloons. Expect to walk out defeated, questioning what you're doing with your life and miserable staff attitude for an added bonus. Management doesn't care bc people keep coming back, like ourselves, because of location and a cornering of the balloon market? Really miserable place to ever have to step foot in.

Debra Bou: I came here on a Friday afternoon and it was a very busy day for them. The girl assisting me was very patient with me. I came to pick up balloons for my friends sons birthday and tried making decisions on which balloons to get. Went back and forth to inflate or not and ended up inflating all of them. Walked out spending $78 on about 10-12 balloons and luckily fit in my truck! Lol. Before I drive off, I had to double check I got all the balloons I paid for and luckily I did because I forgot one! When I went back in, I brought the receipt with me just in case, and the line was so long down the aisle way... I had to sort of shout to the girl who was busy and told her She forgot to give me one of the balloons and she was very apologetic about it. When I got home, one of the foil balloons lost a lot of air and deflated, which I was upset about because it wasn’t cheap! But in the end, the girl assisting me was very patient even tho it took me 2 hours to figure out which ones to get! So it was fine! :)

Dee F.: I've always really liked this Party City. I went there on a weekday afternoon. It wasn't too busy and staff was friendly and helpful. However, staff was not wearing masks and in this pandemic with so many patrons that descend on this store, I would have felt much more comfortable with my shopping experience had.they been wearing masks...and I don't mean Halloween masks! Otherwise, this shop has most everything you need for a party and,.as usual, was fun to visit!

Carla Ferguson (Your Bon Viveur): Party City usually carries the items that I need and many other creative decorating items. The prices are reasonable and I love the new ability to use curbside pick-up for your fast on the move orders.

Noor Ayoob: The location is really good customer service was on point employees asked us if we need any help . We got all our party stuff and more lol . If you want to buy anything to any party you will find it there .

Patrick Gregerson: This is my neighborhood Party City store. The most popular items in the store were the helium balloons. I was able to find the items I needed, but the selection was limited for adult birthdays. I was trying to find birthday items for a friend celebrating his 70th birthday, and could only see a handful of products worthwhile. If you’re celebrating a child’s birthday, you’re in luck, there’s a plethora of fun products to choose from.

Lauren F: I ordered something for same day in store pick up. Plus side it was ready in less than the estimated 2 hours. However when I arrived to pick up at the designated pick up area as directed in the email I received none of the employees acknowledged or helped me. I had been waiting over 10 minutes and about 3 employees has passed by me without saying anything. I understand coming back from a break or being busy but a simple "we'll be right with you" or "have you been helped?" would have been nice. I work in customer service so the service I received today by this store was frustrating. I know alot of places are short staffed or busier than usual but that doesn't mean good or even decent customer service should be thrown out the window. I ended up going through the aisle and purchasing another product similar to the product I ordered. I understand I could have done that to begin with but I wanted to try the in store pick up for the first time and to make sure I got my product.

Aimee Lagrave: I was looking for a few simple number balloons and they were easy to find. Unforchanatily the wait time was absurd. The line was not very long but it took an incredibly long time to get the balloons and then check out. It seems that they have the staffing and the opportunity assist customers. However of the five employees I had in my sightline only two, we're offering assistance in any capacity.

Marsha Bass: This Party City has it all. They had exactly what I was looking for. I was trying to find a unicorn cup for a little friend birthday. They not only had it, they had 3 different ones. I had been looking all day. So glad I looked it up on Google. I will come here first from now on.

Kristina Shaw: Have been a patron of this store for many years since they opened. Loved this store and never had any issues. Now they've "remodeled" and no helium service offered for balloons. Thats right: This store no longer carries helium to provide inflated balloons. I've heard many preposterous and outlandish things in my years but this one takes the cake. I'll cross my fingers and pray that Forestville is still a *real* Party City where inflated party balloons can be purchased. If your store can no longer afford to provide the quality service expected, then perhaps better to shutter your doors as the Bowie location did. This is unacceptable and unheard of for a Party City brand store.

Denise Varnado: The employees here need training they are HORRIBLE. The young lady had her ear buds in talking to her friend. She wasn't paying any attention to the customers. I stood at the register in disbelief while she chatted about her weekend. Talk to your employees and explain how you should treat a paying customer. Oh and by the way the supervisor/lead had her phone out as well.

Fatima Mitchell: This location didn't seem to have a variety of products ts but what they did have was nice. This location didn't offer the pop up trashcans which are really nice and easy to dispose of.

SARO in D.C: I had a Congressional Black Caucus event and zero red helium balloons available in Washington DC. So I called the store and was directed to place a curbside pick up order. Stephanie made it happen and quickly! She went above and beyond to make sure I had the right color red and I got to my valentine with the balloons in hand. Because I did curbside pick up I couldn’t tell you what the in-store looks like but I can tell you that Stephanie will give you outstanding service.

S E: This particular location is very small and does not have a lot of options. I always have a hard time finding what I’m looking for at this location.

I came to get items for a birthday party including balloons and asked a employee if they were able to blow up the balloons for me and was told yes so I continued shopping and when I got to the counter to pay I had to get the three cashiers attention and tell them I was ready, after I payed they said there not blowing up balloons for the rest of the day because their is a shortage of helium mind you it was 2pm on a Tuesday. I took my business to the Giant grocery store and got everything I needed and VERY exceptionally service also they had plenty of helium and didn't have no idea about this helium shortage. Party City do better with your hiring process and stop hire unprofessional children because you lost my business.

Charles-Stephen Laubhouet: This party city store will supply you with all your celebration needs, the staff will gladly help you find what you are looking for or recommend your alternatives. If you purchase balloons , they can fill it up with Helium for you, it will last 8 hours in the air depending on the kind of balloon you like. Parking is spacious as it is in a shopping center and store is very clean

Deirdra Hughes: The staff members were dismissal in the store only one cashier was working and she was sitting down low behind the register. Only one person blowing up ballons with a hour wait. I ordered a bouquet of balloons for my grandson's birthday. One of the foil balloons popped before I could get to the park. I called back upset about the issue. The staff person laughed at me over the phone, but did not offer a solution. Poor customer service!!

Rose Kim: Best place to go to get party decorations and helium balloons! You pick the balloons and they blow it for you right away. Don't get carried away like I did and be mindful of how much space you have in your car! LOL

Karla Monge: AWFUL. You will think considering the prices of some ballons they would at least make sure they are tied well enough. We bought 2 ballos and well in less than an hour ago & its like we have had it for couple days now. Not the first time either. Im sure a 5 min ride didnt cause this.

Jazmin Bibb: They either need to be closed or they need to update this store and get inventory. When I came to pick up my balloon order, they lost 2 of my latex balloons and didn't offer a replacement or had they exact same ones. I ordered the balloons to be blown up at 1pm with high float and a balloon bag. They said they ran out of helium for the day, and they had no more balloon bags and didn't put high float in. Very disappointed in Party City. I will order from Amazon from now on, for balloons, helium..ect

They carry on having their on conversations and even though the store is not busy they will take forever to come back with the item you requested.

Jason Broughton: Very consistent celebration of holidays, themes, and occasions. Problem is the can have their stock diminished quickly. Replenished items take a bit of time to get on the shelves. Again, the location has frequent customers coming through.

Metro Pcs: This place has absolutely everything went there for plastic bowls and they said the county no longer allows plastic which was a surprise. The balloons are overpriced especially when you can go to a dollar store and get the same ones, actually a lot of things are replaced but when you're looking for unique it's a place to go, and the woman that was stocking shelves was very friendly and help me find what I was looking for.

Mark King: Went to Spirit. What a f......g joke. The place had a line outside, they had nothing good left, the staff sucked. So I decided to go to Party City. SO GLAD I WENT. Found 2 great masks and a great black cloak that goes both masks. My son will wear one at school and out with his friends on Halloween night. The staff was nice and no lines. Party City for Halloween stuff for now on. Thanks Party City. Oh ya. Went to Party City last night and bought the twins 2 costumes so they can wear them at daycare tomorrow. So cute.

JP Howard: Relatively small location, but packed with items. Very friendly and helpful staff. You will be able to find most things you need. Be aware that the area sees a lot of traffic, consequently, in demand items can be difficult to find if you wait.

Nick Pascale: Went here after a trip to spirit Halloween store. This location knocked my socks off! It had many of the same Halloween decorations at a much cheaper price than spirit. There was a vast array of different convenient items that would make any party a good one!

Chanel Jones: I am so so sorry. This is the worst place in the world for a party decor. The store makes me depressed. It’s always messy and the people who work there are so negative and mean. I bought balloons for my sons birthday they told me that they where not able to inflate them. Um, okay?? So I went ahead and purchased, but there where some other items I was looking for and they told me the Gaithersburg location has them. So I went over to that location and guess what?? The other location told me, they will inflate the balloons. The irony , yes? Just don’t go to this location Go to Gaithersburg location.

Beckie Gander: Every time I go to place a pick up order, everything states that it is “online only!” Yet when you go into the stores, half the shelves are empty! So annoying. I guess you can’t throw a last minute get together. And it’s not just this store.

Kathy Shirbach: I ordered 65 balloons 2 weeks before they were to be delivered. After HOURS of their outsourced delivery method call and texting me, I had my phone off, and then me calling them. They lied about the actions taken by the delivery service. Then had another outsourced delivery service make the delivery for 24 balloons, not the 65. I paid $100 for 24 damn balloons. This store is a waste of space. People there are useless.

Jonathan Tomek: A large store for many things that helped me for my son's birthday party. They have color sections for particular events as well as year round Halloween costumes, though the selection is picked over. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They have a very large balloon selection as well.

NaT C.: Experience was terrible. I went her to pick up some Mother's day and birthday balloons for my best friend. I was making her a balloon bouquet. I was ignored by the ladies in the balloon section. They were more focused on blowing up Mother's day balloons for invisible customers than helping me. I asked a question so they were made aware of my standing there but they still neglected to provide any type of customer service to me. Once I finally got assistance, more than five of the balloons I picked out were out of stock. They neglected to update the balloons that they told me to make a selection from. As I make my way to the counter, I notice a smaller bouquet that can anchor down my bouquet. I get up front and the lady tells me it is marked wrong. She walks away and comes back, proceeding to rang up they item by keying in several different key codes. I asked her to stop and tell me the price first. She responds that is what I am trying to find out. At this point I ask for a manager, he comes up and I tell him all that has happened. He says sorry that happened and just looks at me and I look at him. Yes I wanted more than 3 words from the manager versus making it seem like it was okay to ignore customers and rang stuff up when you don't even know the price to know when to stop keying in codes. So at this point I said I am leaving my items and not getting anything. I went to another store, got my BFF lots of balloons, made her bouquet and left it at her door step. She loved the surprise so much and said it was her first. Glad it worked out no thanks to this Party City.

SAI BHARATH: It takes some time to go through their huge collection to find what you're looking for. I was here for getting cupcake stands and I was delighted to have so many colors and choices. Although it was either the 11$ DIY cupcake stand or the 39$ something solid stand. Would've liked something in between. They've a separate section for balloons with every conceivable design. I even saw a couple of costumes here and there. They do have lots of options for cake related stuff.

Le - Go: The guy who helped me and my daughter was so kind. (I don’t have his name) I found everything that I was looking for

Mohamed Abdulkader: This is the worst branch of part city I have ever visited in my life in terms of customer service. I stopped by to buy decorations for my Christmas tree the day before Christmas Eve almost 15 minutes before they close “around 7:45 pm”. After getting my items, the young “rude” black long hair lady at the cashier said they only accept credit card and no cash so I excused her for 5 minutes to get my card from the car and come back to finish the payment. The minute I walked out of the door she ran and closed it and despite my knocking on the door she totally neglected me and refused to open the door for me. I am not sure why she acted this way, maybe because I was wearing a hijab or maybe she doesn’t believe that Christmas was meant for everyone to celebrate. In all cases, this is not professional and should not ever happened in a store like this at all. I believe if this was hear family business she would never behave this way, she only did this because it’s a corporate and didn’t care. This is really sad 😔

Ram Venky: We purchased a kid size Halloween costume and a crown on 10/3. At the time of purchase, it was confirmed by the person at billing counter that return time frame is 30 days. When I want to return today, the return was refused and the person at the counter just parotted the sentence "the costume is Halloween costume return can't be accepted 7 days prior to Halloween" when I try to explain what was told by their personnel at the time of purchase. Not over he called for backup as if, we are threatening. Which explains how badly the customers are treated, being reflected in the previous posts. I will never return to this location..

Kashaf Raja: This Party City in Chantilly is our go-to place for holiday and bday events. They have all of the balloons and decorations we desire. A party cannot happen unless we go to Party City. Ask if they do balloon delivery!

Michelle Colbert: They obviously don’t have anyone actually working as their in store and online inventory don’t match. Wasted my time driving down there for a product that said it was in stock at the store. So I’m not really mad or annoyed that I wasted my time driving down their to purchase birthday decorations as was unable to find the product that said it available to purchase... it’s that and more... first the online website says they do delivery (UP To) 15 miles from the store. I live 11 miles away but somehow they don’t deliver to my location. Obviously they just want to deliver local... like walking distance. Gross. Then I arrive at the store I asked two female associates assigned or working in the department they told me that the only thing they had in stock was what was on the floor and pointed out the location or the rack. I had to ask them multiple times if they would look it up in their system. It showed they had two. That’s what I was told but they made excuses that it must be wrong and the inventory should be updated. Thy didn’t look anywhere else. They didn’t look behind the counter, at returns, any of the registers or the back AND they never asked a manager to verify before telling me they didn’t have it. They also refused to look in the back after I asked them if they could check in case it was placed back there or if it was just stored someplace else. I felt they were rude. I will never go back to that location.

Lorraine Wise: I ordered a lovely balloon display for my daughter’s birthday and it was lovely. I left the color arrangement to the owner and he did not disappoint. The bomb snow storm jumped into action and was about to interrupt the scheduled Saturday delivery. He called me on Friday morning- super nice touch that shows they care. We agreed on Friday delivery and he got it done by noon - same day. I couldn’t ask for more. My daughter loves the arrangement which is taller than her and she he’s 5’ 4”.

nikki eiland: Ordered blown up balloons delivery online a week in advance for my husband's birthday. The day of delivery, I called party city to get an update. The delivery company hadn't picked up the order yet, so the staff member ubered my balloons to me. That was so thoughtful and I really appreciated it. The bundle of balloons that were filled didn't stay up past 2 days, so I cut the strings off and taped the balloons to the wall. The Happy Birthday sign balloons are holding up well.

Jacki DuPuy: Very friendly staff. Unfortunately, if you see something online and in stock, there's only a 50% chance of it actually being there. Wonder if that is true for all PC? Disappointed at driving all the way there just to be told most of the things I wanted were not carried year round and that the updates online are delayed.

Vishal Sinha: This is a good location for Party City. Plenty of parking is available in the shopping area. I had ordered some stuff for pickup late at night. I received a call first thing in the morning (before store opening hours) on unavailability of some products, which was much appreciated. When I got to the store to pickup my stuff, I was able to do the pickup in a reasonable amount of time. The person helping me also mentioned the unavailability of the items, which was good :) They do have a good selection of items similar to other Party City stores.

Alison Horn: I ordered and paid for 100 balloons from this company for a candlelight vigil for my neighbor. I placed the order about 6 days in advance and I spoke with the company twice on the scheduled day of delivery to confirm arrival time, including one call when they said they were on their way. They never showed up, leaving a grieving mother without the balloons for the balloon release in remembrance of her son. I tried to call to check on their status but they stopped picking up the phone. Shameful. Avoid this company.

Marcos Flores: Drove 45 min to this location to pick up some doilies to later find out that the kid did not have the proper size /quantity of what I needed.. And, to top it off, couldn't even hold it for an hour... There's Definitely room for process improvement, as i will not be coming back to this location. We (consumers) tend to go establishments where consumers are the priority, something that gets done via soft skills, and genuinely caring for their customers.

Blue Ridge Phantom: The customer service was great, but the product availability was nearly 50%. Some product is simply not available while some other products are available in limited quantities. At this time there isn't sufficient information when more product will be available.

I requested 24 balloons too be inflated and the person who was supposed to do it told me that I would have to wait 30 min. I agreed and hang around the shopping center, when I came back to get my balloons she told me that she didn't do them.

S G: Usually I don't write reviews but the girls working at the balloon place are so rude, I placed a order for 12 and I payed in advance. I come to the store at 4:5 pm and the store is open until 5. they closed the place. and wouldn't open even they seen me knocking looking at me and laughing and turned their back. It was for my daughters bday. Finally some customer walked out they came to the door and I had to beg them to let me get my items. it's crazy. I understand they close the door or the store being closed, but I came before 5 pm, but at least acknowledge. It was shameful and i was embarrassed. i did not want to be petty but in front of kids you do that . you look at me and don't even have basic courtesy to respond. it's sad.

Rena Fagel: Generally I really like this place.it has a lot of hard to find items, as well as some fun impulse purchases that you never would plan on cuz you never knew they existed! I'll add a photo of the hilarious Christmas glasses that I bought. My only complaint would be that sometimes it's very difficult to find specific items. they probably have it organized more logically for regular shoppers then I otherwise found conducive to searching for and finding specific items.

L C: I was looking for paper serving bowls for serving dips and other "socially distant" appetizers. They have a great selection of decorations and party supplies, but serving cups/bowls/plates are all plastic! Very disappointed - in this age of reducing the volume of plastic disposal they should be offering paper options.

Imani Armstrong: I got there at 7:40 in hopes to pick up a few quick things. I was locked out by the security guard along with at least 12 other people because they said they were closed. When we replied it's only 7:40 and people are still in there she said sorry the manger said we are closed because there are a lot of people in there. There were no more than usual. I did look into the window. This is really bad business.

Janice T: There was a big crowd at Dollar Tree today. It had plenty of Valentine's and St Patrick supplies. They were all so ready for spring gardening.

Cilver: I wanted to give recognition to the cashier that assisted me today at this Dollar Tree store. Her name was Ms. Talia, and she was very professional and patient today as she assisted me with my items. Thank you Ms. Talia! I also wanted to add the store is very well organized and clean considering the amount of customers that visit the store each day, so shout-out to all the employees at the Dollar Tree on Benning Ave. for a job well done.

c hanson: They have a good selection of products MOST of the time. If they don't have what you want (& if it's not out of season...) just wait/ask abt the next truck delivery date. The staff are pretty friendly except maybe the "transients" who only stay for less than a month. They are not ratchet, unless customers are rude. Quality is hit or miss, but pretty darn good overall for a dollar 🤑

Kathy Lloyd: Terrible I Don't Like There Beer/ Wine Policy's Why Are They Asking 60yr Old Grown People For ID When Purchasing Beer/ Wine A At Grocery Store.This Is Not Good Especially When The Cashier Is 18 smh

Zizzi's Genetics: It does not need to smell like strong Lysol at the entrance to the store. You do not need to spray that mess, especially so heavily. Very counterproductive IMO, since we supposed to be protecting our lungs. Not a reassuring smell at all. Chemicals are bad.

Joy James: Stopped in here to find decor/party items for my event and most of the shelves were practically empty! I also literally had to lift unorganized things up to find what I needed. This store needs a major restock of items and structure. The cashier was very nice however.

Èl Check: This is an industrial location. The location could use some TLC, aesthetics, and organization for the office to make the location more welcoming. There is a dog there (not sure how often). If your allergic you may want to call them and ask to bring outside. If your scared of dogs let person know so they could take care of the situation for you. The online process is simple and efficient. The customer service over the phone and in person is welcoming and nice. The balloons are priced well and there is a wide variety. I would order from them again but next time delivery. Not open on weekends.

Ekaete Loretta Akpan-Thomas: I love this place! They have such a wide variety of inventory at excellent prices. I love that there is the option to ship or come pick up. If I need something in a pinch, I can just come here. Their hours are a bit limited from 9-5, but they are a wholesaler and not a traditional retail shop. This place has been instrumental in supplying me product to use for my clients. The men who work there are very friendly and I love seeing the owner's dog. This place is a gem!

Christine Lipscomb: I just called and the person who I talked to was incredibly rude. I won't be bringing my business here. They made a lot of assumptions about the information I wanted to ascertain. The person was so curt at some point I had to ask if they even had time for any of my questions. I was constantly being cut off to give answers to questions what I hadn't asked and had no intention of asking at that point. I know the place is a wholesaler that is specifically why I called. I need a lot of balloons and would like to have a local business provide them. Also, I was also quoted a 25% restocking fee when the website says 15%...please update your information if that is the case.

Tiffany Thomas: If I wasn’t a procrastinator, I would never patronize this business. I love to support our local businesses however, the older gentleman Jack is very rude and unprofessional. Thank goodness for Hunter who is very nice and pleasant to work with. Hunter is why they received 2 stars.

H H: Extremely rude customer service. The older gentleman that runs the place is not pleasant whatsoever! I ordered balloons and my order was missing three bags of the same color! He accused me of lying about the three missing bags that were NOT included in the order. They only open from 9am to 5pm Monday- Friday which leaves absolutely no room for communication for busy folks. Terrible business model. They also don’t have an email system and the place is a dump!

Balloon Zoom: Absolutely love this family-run business! They make it easy for us to create beautiful decor for our customers.

Rebecca O'Donnell: Balloons N More is a very well stocked dealer in all manner of balloons.The staff is helpful and polite. They also carry balloon related accessories. I do balloon decorations and balloon twisting for events and Balloons N More is my go to place for all my balloon supplies.

Not all, but a few aren’t costumer friendly. We patronize these folks often, but today was the worst we’ve experienced at this business. #NotCoolAtAll

Tyler Carmody: I absolutely cannot stress enough how wonderful it is to work with this company. I work in radio promotions and we need a lot of balloons for station-sponsored events. Every time I've ordered from this company, my order has arrived in less than two days. Every time there has been a problem, I've received a call with a direct solution to how they can make good on the order. They are also unbelievably nice, and I have NEVER had a better customer service experience anywhere else. They are highly recommended to anyone needing bulk orders shipped fast!

kara taylor: I normally don't go to this dollar tree because of the parking, but I stopped by for a few things and it was a really good visit. I found everything I was looking for, the line wasn't too long and the staff was friendly. This was my first time being given their stronger bags at check out. I am so glad they switched to the stronger bags. There have been times my bag would break or get holes before getting to my car.

Ruben Stemple: Shelves were very messy with many boxes stacked in the aisles. They may have just received a shipment or something. Also shopping carts loaded with things to put back on shelves. Lines were long and several customers were unfriendly. Parking lot is terrible. The one good thing is that the staff seems very friendly and helpful. Good place to get helium balloons for kids parties.

SARO in D.C: A colleague and I wanted to grab congratulations balloons for a company launch. There were two lines, one was waiting on the manager, and the other was long. As a manager came out from the back we asked about the balloons. Her reply was very rude, instructing us to wait till we got our turn at the register. As she walked off without resolving I need, Tiffany came out the back onto the sales floor and immediately seeing the frustration on our faces. She inquired about what our needs were that day, answer the questions and proceeded to complete our order. thanks to Tiffany, by the time we reached the register, the balloons were helium filled and we were able to get to the event in a timely manner!! It’s amazing how the store manager brushed us off and was unwilling to assist, but this amazing associate went above and beyond. Thank you Tiffany!

Miss B.: This store is randomly closed at any time. I went this morning @10A and make shift sign on the door said CLOSE. People were going up to and walking away when they saw the sign. Not sure what's going on. I took my myself to the Dollar General down the street. Paying a bit more there but it's for the convenience.

Al Edmondson: I like the store. Itz a lot of stuff there. The staff are usually pretty helpful in the navigation. . I think you should Fire Ann immediately. I haven't visited in a long time so she'll know who wrote this. I know she misses me. I'm just kidding 🤣. LOL No real complaints , the price is right...LOL...Whatever you go through there remember everything's a dollar.. Who gives a damn, as long as you can get it and leave. People complain about long lines, overstocked, messy, itz the people who mess it up and damn guess what? Itz still a dollar. Forgetaboutit!

Jason Detwiler: The staff are always very helpful and pleasant. The problem there is its Very, Very Dirty. The floors are always dirty. The shelves are always a mess. The Windows and glass doors are as dirty as the rest of the store. Every Dollar Tree that I've ever been in, is the same way, DIRTY. Must be company policy. There are times that it not just dirty, there is a a foul smell to go with it.

Darrick Gilmore: Had item shipped to the store. The managers were helpful. Next time I will have items shipped to my home. I received an email to pickup the items at the store. The store had not received the items. I went to the store three times and finally the shipment arrived.

Amanda Jorge: Be careful with what you consume from this store. I bought a m&m chocolate candy there yesterday and it was expired. The expiration date is 01/2020 🤯 I love dollar trees that’s why I’m extremely disappointed :( Make sure you check the expiration date before buying any food from there.

m rivera: This dollar tree has recently opened and I think it is a great location. There’s free parking and the store is big to hold a variety of merchandise. The employees are very attentive and do their best to keep the store organized and fully stocked. My only concern is that there are some customers who grabs items and make a mess by pulling items disorderly or leaving items behind in random spots. If we want to keep this dollar tree looking nice, everyone has to do their part in keeping the store organized. I am grateful to have this dollar tree in my neighborhood and want to keep it for the long run. I gave it a 5 star because this the third dollar tree in DC that has free parking, fully stocked items (food,seasonal items, party stuff, etc), and the employees are friendly.

Rosa: I visited this Dollar Tree for the first time yesterday, My neighbors been talking about it. Wow what a beautiful store. I was welcomed in by a member of staff which I though was very nice. I ask a cashier if someone spoke Spanish , she replied Yes or new store manager speaks Spanish. She came over and introduce herself was very kind. I told her I have a cleaning business&I would like to bit items n by bulk. She told me about dollar tree customer direct. I was very excited, she help me find it on my phone. I told her store was very beautiful and thecustomer service was superb.she thank me more than once. Vacations Come True: Glad for the closer location. Staff super nice especially ten minutes to closing. Google had close at 10 but marked out to 9 for close on the door. Mist have been a change in the past 6 weeks since store confirmed hours.

Shankar Kulumani: It's the same as every dollar store, lots of very cheap plastic things shipped from China and lots of candy/snacks This one was well stocked with no empty shelves. Multiple checkout lanes were open so the buying process was fast

I wasn't disappointed - a gorgeous arch and the biggest hit were the "floor displays" with a giant balloon on top. Kristi Gribble Thompson: Final update: the company did what they said they’d do and the balloons turned out BEAUTIFULLY!!!! Update to original post- the company did get back with me and offered a future credit. I’m so glad this worked out and I will update this post once the event has taken place. I was referred to this company by a friend. I worked directly with the owner when scheduling an event that wasn’t able to take place because of the pandemic - which cost me $350. When I contacted the company at a later date to ensure that I still had credit on file (or could receive a refund) they wouldn’t work with me and said my credit had expired even though no expiration was made clear to me. Basically, Flavia took my money, provided NO service and wouldn’t offer a refund nor a credit when I asked for it. I’m still in communication with the company and hope they will do the right thing. I simply wanted a credit or refund for my child’s birthday party that couldn’t occur due to the pandemic.

I have had a chance to read your review and your updates about us and I have to honestly say that I'm extremely disappointed you maintained the original review which I feel is unfair and was purposefully meant to harm and bully us into getting your way. In your review you said "(The owner) wouldn’t work with me and said my credit had expired even though no expiration was made clear to me”. Please know that BEFORE you booked your child's 1st birthday balloons and before you paid for it, you were sent our Covid policy via email along with your invoice. That email was dated 3/12/2020. The email I send you specifically said "Please note the section on the contract about our Coronavirus rescheduling/cancellation policy.” Not only that, our Covid policy has been posted on our website since March 1st, 2020. Covid was already here, we all already knew about it, and you knew there was a chance of it being cancelled before you booked. So for you to say that you didn’t know, is simply NOT TRUE. Covid was all over the news and everything around us was already being cancelled. You gambled by scheduling an event during the pandemic and you had been told, in writing, what our Covid policies were. Furthermore, when you cancelled your event, you were reminded of our Covid policy which was to reschedule within 6 months. You rescheduled for an outdoor pool party that summer, but then cancelled again. Then you asked us to reschedule for a 2rd time and use it for your daughter's 2nd birthday, again, we agreed, yet you cancelled it again. You then asked to reschedule it for the 3rd time for her 3rd birthday. That’s 2 years later, and you were upset when my sales team said no, so you lashed out with a bad review. We had ordered your supplies plus every time you rescheduled, we dedicated time to speak to you, planned your event, scheduled employees, etc. Time is spent on your event even if you cancel it. When an event is booked, that date/time is reserved, so we turn away business for the same date/time, which is precisely why we can't return anything if someone cancels within 14 days of the event. Yet, we were willing to be flexible and rescheduled your event several times. As you can see by all of our stellar reviews, we're not in the business of swindling clients out of their money. I take extreme offense to that accusation. We're a reputable company with years of experience and excellent customer service to back us up. As a customer of a small business you should be mindful of how harmful your words are and you shouldn't use it as a weapon. All of this was explained to you privately when we last communicated, yet you chose to keep your unfair accusations posted publicly, so here we are. Again, I'm glad your daughter had a great 3rd birthday and I'm glad she liked the balloons. Next time you need balloons, please take your business elsewhere. Flavia (Owner)

Yianna Bouikidis: Flavia and her team did a tremendous job this past Monday on our Pats Select and Asian Garden Grand Opening. They exceeded all our expectations and did an amazing job on all the balloons we discussed. She meet with me as many times as needed and was so kind. We could not have imagined something better than her work and we are looking forward to having her and her team again in our future events.
