Julien Garman: This is my go-to shop for all our nieces and nephews birthdays! They’ve curated such a beautiful selection that doesn’t feel overwhelming. I once had the shop put together a little gift basket for a friend’s baby shower when I was in a pinch and couldn’t make it out to the shop - I just gave them my budget and they put it together for me with a little note. This gem is worth the visit (online or in person!!)
Chelsea I.: Three Littles is often a weekend walk destination to see the cute things or at minimum the cute pup, Monkey! I’ve gone in for quick little $10 valentine gifts, or more curated shower, birthday, etc. gifts. I love that the items are high quality and from reputable brands. Elizabeth the owner, and the other shop employees are so kind and helpful. There’s definitely a lack of “nice” baby stores in DC, so I’m thankful this is close to us. Love this store & will continue to be a repeat customer!

Jennifer Calhoun: This is the best store to go for babies, kids, and adults! It’s truly essential, especially as a first time parent. Every book I’ve purchased from here has been my kid’s favorite, asked for again and again, and I never get tired of reading them either. I feel confident when she puts toys from Three Littles in her mouth that they are non toxic and baby safe. Elizabeth only stocks the best of the best and it’s so helpful — I have to do enough research on baby gear so I love shopping with confidence that whatever she has in store is something that kids will love. Her candles and self care items for parents/adults are also amazing, Driftwood is the perfect candle scent. There’s truly something here for every age and stage.
Hannah Zlotnick: Three Littles is my go-to shop for baby gifts, and I never make it out without picking up something for my own little! I love the ever-changing selection of beautiful and unique toys, clothes and accessories. It’s always a treat to stop in and see what’s new. I also appreciate that the shop always feels like a welcoming and safe place to bring my child in to shop. Chuck L: We are SO happy that we found this store online! We were a little skeptical at first with buying an open box stroller, but we certainly have ZERO regrets! This thing was brand spanking new, as listed, without a single scratch. It could have been sold as brand new and no one would have known any different. We also registered it with Uppababy using the registration card with no issues so now we have a 3 year warranty. Highly recommend Capital Kidz and will be ordering the Mesa car seat from them soon!!!

They told me how to fix it and re-order on Amazon. Instead I asked to order directly through them. (I’m not sure if it makes a difference on their end, but why not cut out Amazon when you can?) I ordered what I needed and got my stroller in just about a week. Abe was the guy who helped me along the way and he was truly awesome. Patient, super kind and thoughtful! It was shipped out quickly, and I was called to make sure I would be home to accept the order from Fedex by signature only. When there was a mixup and Fedex delivered to the wrong address, the kind man at Capital Kidz made sure to do everything he could to ensure I got the package, and was in touch with me and others, with multiple phonecalls and follow ups throughout the day. Stoyan Dimitrov: excellent experience at this store. store reps are extremely knowledgeable. Joe who works at the strollers/car seats section is the go-to person. He is super nice, very helpful and knows what he is talking about. He is trained and very resourceful individual.
Short and Sweet: Staff on floor is super knowledgeable and helpful. Be sure to ask for Joe as he knows the ins and outs in baby products. Cashier laddy was a little slow and could use improvement in costumer service skills.

We were looking for different essentials and the associates of the store that we spoke with were knowledgeable and patient with us. Monica was wonderful and cheerful. Joe Cluen was the superstar however. His product knowledge is impressive as was his patience with us and our many questions. He seems so willing and eager to help. We were very happy with every aspect of our experience and would recommend this Buy Buy Baby.

He answered all my questions and he went above and beyond. I asked him if they would be able to assemble the stroller at the store and this man did it. Scott Selliers: While in town for my wife’s work, my son and I have been out exploring the city. We have never been much for buying tchotchkes as souvenirs, yet few things can bring back the memories of travel like a material thing found along the way. After visiting the gift shop at the National Aquarium in Baltimore and seeing the crummy toy offerings, I told my son we’d find a real toy store - and Child’s Play Toys & Books is definitely that! We were greeted and assisted by passionate toy aficionados - professional retailers. Take your time when you visit this store - there’s a ton to see. Now my son has a quality toy that will bring back memories of our DC trip. We also had a puzzle gift wrapped for free at the counter as a gift for my father-in-law for watching our animals - this was the perfect store for us today! (You know you’re dealing with a serious store when they have an entire shelf dedicated to the best board game ever made - Catan!)
Martin Lucero: What an awesome story, great toys and games for people of all ages. The store is far bigger than you might first realize and they are incredibly well stocked. The staff are passionate and helpful. They were able to discuss Legos in detail with my seven year old son and help me find the perfect board game based on my vague requirements. On top of all that, the prices are very reasonable.
beyondTabu: Lots of options. Shelves were sparse which is expected as it’s Christmas time. Staff were friendly and helpful. They have wrapping at the back of the store for purchases.

I tell them the ages of the children I’m shopping for as well as the interests, and they always direct me to the perfect options and gift. They are super knowledgeable and helpful! Walt Nicholson: This is one of the best toy stores I’ve come across in years. If you have a child who needs a toy - it’s here. All ages, abilities and interests. Lots of fun educational toys as well as sheer joy. Big Lego section, model rockets and tons for little ones. The staff were super friendly and made perfect recommendations. Will definitely be back for birthday presents to come!

Kaitlyn Feast: I like to buy used kids stuff, but the prices were a little too high for me. What I did love was the maternity section. It’s impossible to find a wide variety of maternity clothing in stores, but this place has a nice little selection to physically see.
Annie Dowling: This store is a gem! I always found something for my 3 children and enjoying both shopping and consigning there. The girls clothes are exceptionally good. All of the staff was friendly as well as the owner. They also have a great selection of fun little toys and novelties - great for gifts.

Arn: What I love most about Kinder Haus is that there just isn’t any other toy store like it anymore. No Target or other big retailer can compete with the feel of this place. They have an expansive selection of toys and books (a lot of really good Usborne books that we haven’t found elsewhere). Our kids also love going there to play with the train set and the little store. Before the pandemic they ran a lot of great events too and the staff is really friendly!

Katie Anderson Howell: Willow is my go-to for comfortable, quirky, and affordable clothes and accessories. I find something that adds to my wardrobe or enhances my jewelry box almost every time I go in. I love that I know the owner by sight and name, that the store goes out of its way to be family friendly, and that it tries new things and expands into other neighborhoods. Best of all, I have found gifts for everyone from a couple buying their first home, new parents, a stylish sister-in-law, and my 90 year old grandmother. I always leave Willow happy with the quality of what I’ve purchased and feeling good about both the amount I’ve spent and that I’ve spent it in a local store in my own neighborhood.

Cliodhna MacFadden: We purchased the Element 65” TV, and after 3 days the backlight broke. We tried everything to fix it. Without a box or receipt in hand, we brought it back to see what may be possible to do. Associates TK, Nicole S, and Anton were able to use the debit card used to purchase to look up my receipt to get our return sorted. We so appreciate them going truly above and beyond to show us their compassion and excellent customer service.

Teresa Mulesoft: Excellent customer service! We were in need of ballet shoes and tights for an MSA performance. I called ahead and the staff person was cordial and confirmed size availability. We arrived right before closing but were greeted respectfully and kindly. Our items were already waiting for us at the register but Meagan recommended that we confirm sizing. She was super kind and patient. She ensured that we had the right items and that my child was comfortable with the shoes. We walked out of the store and my children remarked on such a great customer experience. I will be sure to patron this business and recommend them to others.

Sam Baggins: I went for ballet clothes and was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of shoes, tights, and leotards. A store employee asked me immediately what I was looking for and pointed me to the dance clothes. The store owner had really good knowledge about dance clothes and even gave me a discount for going to a local dance school. They had the dance tights that I wanted: the capezio ultra soft tights with a knit waist rather than the elastic one they sell on amazon. I ended up grabbing some cute leotards as well. Anyway, a really friendly staff and nice dance clothes.
BM: The staff is friendly and helpful. The have a wide array of toys, clothes for children, and dance supplies for children and adults. Some of the items are a little pricey, but this is a small business. They have to make a profit. I am willing to pay a little more for a pleasant shopping experience and to boost the local economy.
Constance Nicks: Excellent service and a great selection of dance wear for adults. The ladies that work there are really knowledgeable of all the dance schools in the area and offered some great advice. A first stop when getting ready for dance class.

Georgia Hensley: I really enjoyed visiting this H&M. We needed new dresses before going out for a night on the city so we stopped by the H&M closest to our hotel. My sister and I bought a few blouses and some really nice dresses. This place is clean, modern and shiny! Lots of inventory to look through. We were pleasantly surprised. Cute kids clothes as well. This H&M is located at 1025 F St. NW in Washington DC
