mike tyson: Mohamed was very helpful in my search for a new mattress for my growing teen boy that would not break the bank. He showed us options at varying price ranges and offered a price on a mid-range mattress that came out to just over half of what a Mattress Warehouse competitor wanted for a mattress that seemed comparable. I have to delete one star because the delivery people broke a planter on their way out and did not seem to care enough to apologize, but that is not a reflection on this location.

Dijana Hrvacic: Nine months ago, we bought two mattresses queen and twin and two spring boxes of the same producer Beautyrest (see below attached invoice). Queen mattress was an extra firm mattress as I have serious backbone issues. Very soon one side of the extra firm mattress turned extra soft and sagged down that much that I slide down at night. Since it costed $1700 and it has been several months, we reached out to file a warranty claim. While processing they insisted on photos of both mattress and its foundation (spring box Beautyrest bought in the same shop, check invoice). The warranty claim was rejected due to the " use of inadequate foundation/support system". It does not make any sense considering that both the mattress and the springbox foundation were made by the same producer Beautyrest (check the invoice) and the Beutyrest springbox foundation was recommended by your shop as appropriate for this Beautyrest extra firm mattress. So, there is no place in warranty or warning by your shop that using the frame would eliminate warranty – again both of your items we bought together. The warranty card has forgotten to mention the springbox made by the same producer as the mattress and for its size, and talks about slots (non existent) in this case. If the foundation is really inadequate for this mattress as you suggest then that is the mistake of the producer who made both of them to be used together, and the mattress firm that sells them as adequate for each other and recommends them. It seems that the producer and the shop are finding their own product inadequate. After complaining again, no one has come to inspect the mattress and they just checked different reason on the list of reasons for rejection. I would not recommend to any one to buy anything in this shop as their warranty is fake and products overpriced. the same extra firm mattress-queen size now costs $650 due to bad reviews about sagging.

Elise Stull: The managers at Mattress firm are great. I ordered a pillow from the store, but the manufacturer of the pillow sent the wrong size and then gave me bad information about pillowcases (so I bought the wrong ones and was frustrated). Mattress Firm made everything right though. They helped me exchange the pillow for a different brand AND gave me a discount, even though none of it was their fault. Next time I need a new mattress, Mattress Firm will be my first stop.

Vonda Bell: Almost 3 years ago I wasted way too much money on a Sleep Number bed which turned out to be a glorified air mattress. In the market for a new mattress and a good night's rest, I stopped by Mattress Firm after leaving Costco (the store is right next to Costco). Birama was my sales associate and he was awesome! I got a great deal on the perfect mattress, and it even included a free adjustable base. Stop by to see him if you're in the neighborhood. The store is fairly new and very nice. The people are wonderful and the prices are even better!

Mary Veach: I had read reviews for this location and saw all the nice stuff said about Wendy so I was so happy when we walked in and were greeted by Wendy!! She was the perfect balance of helpful while still giving us space to browse and discuss what we liked. Whenever we had a question she was easy to find and came right over and had answers to all the questions we asked. We ended up purchasing a couch and the whole process was really straightforward - none of that “add this protection and this feature and this extended warranty” etc etc that you have to muddle through with some sales people. We actually had time to just chit chat while we waited for my husband to tend to our child and Wendy is a genuinely nice person!! Highly recommend a visit to this location… you may even want to call ahead and ask when Wendy is working!!

Hassan M: Got the beat deal . Delivery guys are awesome. Delivery was on exact day and time . I guess 59$ for delivery just threshold (dropoff inside through first door ) with assembly (90$). I don’t need that it was just four legs for my sofa . Customer service is amazing. For delivery person they called 2 minutes before arrival and then dropped it inside my living room. Best thing they took off the shoe before stepping on my carpet and were wearing mask .

on studio: The WORST furniture store I have ever seen. Oh boy, where can I start? The first day I had ordered set bedroom furniture and sofa which is 1/26/22 they said I'm gonna get all the delivered by 3/23/22 I said, "OK" after a while they told me they don't know when my furniture available for delivery. (disappointment) but still, I have been waiting so patiently. March 13 they said all my orders gonna deliver on 4/2/22 I said "OK(i was happy) and I fix my work schedule to get the delivery but never lasted 😔. Yesterday they called me she told me all my orders were ready to deliver by 03/30/22 which is next week Wednesday I said ok and I fixed my work schedule again. So bad today they tell me my order not available it gonna be ready to deliver by 4/9/22 We just so disappointed because we trust them and we throw away old furniture except only meters. Now we just decide to cancel the order and buy a different furniture store if we can't able to get the order by 4/9/22 no more baby. before you buy make sure they gonna keep the promised day. for me they never. This Store Oh My GOD so unprofessional. I will never go back again.

Instead he found the exact mattress that made my daughter the most comfortable. When I came back to complete the purchase Chuck took care of everything while cracking jokes with Emanuel. I was laughing when I left the store despite spending 1800 dollars. I will go back to this store for all of my bedding needs. I will recommend this store to anyone!!

We were immediately greeted by Vivian, she introduced herself and asked our names. She asked a few questions and listened to our likes and dislikes about our current mattress and helped us try different mattresses that fit our needs in various price ranges. Vivian did not put pressure on us at all. She gave my husband the space and time we needed to discuss our options. She answered my questions about different features, gave us options (again in different price ranges), and she provided about the no interest payment options that I wanted to learn more about. If at any point if she was unsure about an answer she called a colleague to confirm the answer so that she didn’t misguide us. derekscriv: I purchased a split king size box spring, and a full metal frame, July 2019. Somewhere around six months later I noticed that the box spring on my side started to bend. At about 10 post purchase I returned to the store to attempt to replace the box spring, she said they would have a replacement delivered. A replacement never came: I called they said warranty was still pending; life got busy, we had a newborn, I lost interest gave up on the replacement. A year later I returned purchased another box spring replacement. The sales rep said the item must have been defective and I wouldn’t have this problem again. 6 months later the box spring started to bend AGAIN. I fully understand that I am an large human (6’6/300), but this has never been an issue before. I attempt to contact the store - I was rudely pushed to the website, because the stores on do “sales”. I attempted customer service and I was redirected to their online warranty form; which apparently is the only way they warranties. You cannot speak to anyone and utter the word “warranty” and if you say it you are redirected instantly. Anything after 120 days is $79.99 to have a 3rd party look at your box spring and say “yep, it’s bent” like obviously. Mattress Firm I will no longer do business with you and recommend you to no one.

Lani: This store had many nice furniture pieces on display. However there is currently a very long delay of anywhere from one to four months for furniture to be delivered. The sales rep who assisted me was helpful, but pushy and followed me around the store when I just wanted to scope out items. I literally had to ask him to just give me a minute and I will find him when I was ready to talk about the pieces I was looking for. The pushy reps made my experience poor. One thing I noticed is that many of the furniture items did not have a label or name on them. This means that for everything you were interested in, you would have to ask the rep for details on the pricing. It would save a lot of time if I was able to just literally look at the name And price of the item directly, especially since the store is so big. It seems like the associate did not want to tell me the names of items, which I found to be odd. If I am looking at multiple pieces of furniture and comparing prices, it is helpful as a shopper to know exactly what I’m looking at since there are so many items. There was also a huge push to buy items in store, although many were listed for much cheaper online. He also try to sell me a couch that had visible damage on it. I think this was just to make the sale

Zewdu: We have had a good year 2021 except this TRAUMA. We purchased a sectional sofa in Dec 2020 from Ashly Furniture Falls church, VA and we were told it would be delivered within 4-12 weeks. however, we did not receive it until may/June 2021. after we received the sofa, the quality was not good enough. So, We needed to return part of the sofa & paid additional $100 pick-up fee and then the store wanted to charge us 30% restocking fee. We spoke to customer service & due to their late delivery timeline & poor customer Service communication, they agreed to charge us 10% cancelation fee instead. After a few back and forth with them, we went to Ashly furniture falls church to get our refund. one of the customer manager we spoke to reiterate that we were to be charged 10% fee-not 30%. The store manager disagreed & insisted that he's going to charge us 30%. We repeated to him the conversations we've been having with them, but the store manager (he said his name is Ray) and he was not even wearing a name tag) escalated it...started shouting & yelling at us. This was unnecessary so we started recording our interaction."Ray" demanded that we stopped recording, or he'll call the police & said,"I PROMISE YOU, I WILL GET YOU ARRESTED" We told him that was his choice to do so. He called 911 & claimed that he was being "harassed" by a customer; we called 911 as well & told the police what was really happening.When the Police arrived, "Ray” asked the police to make us delete the recording & escort us out.The Police told him we had every right to record the conversation as the Police himself was recording this event as well.The Police told us to deal with the refund issue with the appropriate party & to keep paper trail. We submitted compliant to BBB and we received our refund a couple of weeks ago. This process has been physically, emotionally draining & it has been causing unnecessary distress to us. BBB to take the appropriate measure as there are multiple complaint online & this store manager/location to be held accountable for the emotional distress they have caused to customers. Amanda Murff: We purchased a couch at this location and had a good sales experience. The team members were knowledgeable and friendly and able to answer all of our questions. Our salesperson's name was Kanan and he was very friendly and responsive to our needs, plus he was not rigid in negotiations which I very much appreciated because we came in with a budget we wanted to respect and I communicated that to him. Connie handled all the paperwork during the actual purchase process and she was very friendly, professional, and transparent. We knowingly purchased a couch that was not in stock at the warehouse, so we haven't been through the delivery experience yet, but as far as the in-store experience, it was very positive.

Rebekah Mann: Highly recommend NOT buying in store here. It’s way better to try out the furniture and then buy online as online prices are significantly cheaper. We found a couch in store that was $300 cheaper online as well as an ottoman that was $150 cheaper online and ships sooner than what would ship from the store. Not to mention taxes and furniture protection plans are cheaper online. The sales associate that tried to sell to us said that you have to pay the delivery/assembly fee or else you can’t get the protection plan, which isn’t true. We were able to order online and do doorstep delivery for free with a furniture protection plan. Hoping you can con people into paying more in your store is not a very successful way to compete with other stores. Especially when people have the sense to take 20 seconds to use Google to confirm pricing and availability.

Kayla Regan: If I could give zero stars I would. BUYERS BEWARE! I purchased a large sectional couch from this store not even two years ago. The floor model they had was damaged and you could not sit in the middle of the couch. The salesman had told us there was an issue but to test out the other section of the couch. Maybe we were naive in believing him that the couch was damaged from it being a store model - but alas here we are and our couch has the same exact problem. The black mesh material that the cushions sit on is ripped. We cannot sit in the middle of the couch. I had purchased the 5-year protection plan and specifically asked if this was covered and was told yes. Again, my fault for not reviewing all the terms and conditions before agreeing to purchase. I tried to file a claim and of course it's not protected. I called the store directly and was told I can get the money back for the protection plan $190 as a store credit to use on a future purchase. That's it. They won't even pay to have someone fix the issue with the couch when they very well KNEW this was an issue with this model. Honestly, the cushions are all balled up on the material and have lost their sturdiness - and for a couch not even two years old where I spent over $2,000 - that's insane to me as well. Overall I WOULD NOT buy a couch from Ashley Furniture. Ever. Anywhere - but especially would not shop here.

CJ Young: BEWARE!!! We bought a leather couch less than a year ago for $2000 from Ashley. There is already stitching coming undone on part of the couch. What makes it worse is that it's in the middle seat where we rarely sit (the middle part has a fold down arm rest that we use). I called the store and was told that the stitching is not covered under their 1 year warranty. Even though is specifically says on the website that seam slippage is covered!! We had a horrible experience with the delivery and now an even worse experience with the customer service. Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Don Malnati: Nice store, The sales clerks are helpful, but there aren't very many of them. I knew that Macy's sold the perfume that my wife wanted, so I just dashed in, was directed to where I could find it, and purchased it along with a nice gift bag. They have a large variety of things, the gift bags were really inexpensive. A good shopping experience!

Muniba Khan: Stopped by from out of town since the weather ended up being a lot colder than expected. We were able to find some winter wear for a reasonable price, although I wish they had a wider selection of warm coats and some gloves for these cold fronts. Everyone that helped us was super great and friendly!

Charmaine Hurst: I'm from Philadelphia and the Macy's in Washington DC is much better looking inside! Brighter lights,the women's clothing layout displays of colors style,etc. That makes you want to be there and shop and look around. Brighter lights and the white painted walls helps to be a pleasant experience and welcoming. Clean lines and spaces makes it look larger. It is better looking than the Macy's in downtown Philadelphia where it is gloomy looking and old looking.It need a upgrade!

Kristen Ashworth: Had a lot of fun at Macy's while we were on vacation in DC! A perfect way to spend a rainy day on a girl's trip... or any time we needed a little retail therapy ;) . Their shoe and purse department is expansive and most of our purchases were marked down substantially. They even have a section for dogs - good quality dog toys for cheap prices! Dominee in the shoe department was extremely helpful and attentive for all the shoes we tried on - super fast getting sizes, kept us laughing, and went above and beyond to help us!

Michael Anderson: I enjoyed walking around the store window shopping for new items. They was a pretty good selection but thank goodness I wear a popular size or I would have purchased the whole store! I may go back to the Macy's near my home to do some wardrobe updating in the near future.

The experience painless and without incident. After the return, we made our to the children department. My daughter wanted to see if there anything new out for babies 18-24 months. There were some times, but nothing much that caught her. My grandson did grab a footsie pajama and my daughter saw a cute pair of sneakers and a tee shirt. Very cute 😍! The checkout rep was very friendly, and he was the manager. Overall, a great experince🙏🙏🙏

C Meadows: Terrible customer service in their furniture department. The gentleman that "helped" me didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing. I asked him questions he couldn't answer so he said he would check with his supervisor and then call or text me the next day. He never did. When I came back to the store three days later he was rude to me about the situation. Shop online to avoid the poor customer service.

Susan Marich: Signs are tough to find. Feels like a fire hazard. Terrible service. Four clerks at the perfume counter just stood around talking and would not acknowledge I needed assistance. I looked for a clerk on several floors ( no one around) and the up escalators didnt work; 4th floor before I found a clerk who would help. The worst! I ended up leaving and spent my money elsewhere. Some people don't need a job I guess.

Cherisse Pais: This store is a disaster. None of the suitcases had prices on them, so I had to hunt down a cashier to find out how much one was, who was MASK-LESS the entire time, not to mention completely incompetent. She ended up charging me when all I wanted was a price check. And then she tried to talk me out of processing a refund, insisting that is was a good deal (it wasn’t). Absolutely not worth going here! It’s gone so far downhill.

Sassy Sauce: Who doesn’t like Costco. It’s filled with stuff we really don’t need, but when we see it we justify why we want it and figure out the rest later. The tire center crew is very helpful and I have bought car batteries from here as well. The ease of rerun for items is really good and the process is very streamlined. I like the selection of items and it’s generally well staffed. I don’t have to wait too long in line before checking out. The gas prices are the best I’ve seen in the surrounding areas. It’s usually a win whenever we visit.

Anthony Stewart: A bit crowded, but great just as every other Costco. If you haven’t been a member for a while, now is your time to go back! Things have only gotten better! Pretty easy to reach by public transport if one doesn’t plan to get much (and traveling by bus and metro forces one to be a bit more circumspect in one’s purchases). Will be returning monthly and already know where to find great holiday essentials. Hadn’t had Costco pizza in years, and it really hit the spot. It’s one of the few places in the country where a meal and a drink can still be had for under $3!

Oceanie De Silva: Love Costco and specially this DC one as it’s the only one that sells Liquor in the whole DMV area! We find some great items- coconut water from Sri Lanka, Dutch ovens for a great price! Hard Liquor and wines and beers etc amazing collection!! And great prices too! The Japanese whiskeys are a treat and also some fine wines from France and Spain! Also the service is great and efficient! Even though it’s always crowded you move fast!! Become a Member and come over to the DC one!

B. Lipkowitz: This is a great store for just about anything personal, business, and corporate. A courteous, efficient staff is ready, available to serve, offer samples, or assist along well stocked aisles of both the familiar and upscale. Libations, anyone? The A+ "adult beverage" section has an exceptional array of wines and spirits.

I SLAY ALL DAY TRAVEL The Solo Traveler: Its always a pleasure coming into this Costco to see the workers with great customer service. They are friendly and kind. The selections are wide and many. I really like this location and it’s close to home.

Jneen Pas: The lines were long but the cashier was polite. Then my reciept didn't print at the register and I had to wait an additional 20 mins for them to bring me a printed reciept from the back. Made my rating less.

Why should I have to pay. Every one else I buy from don't ask for nothing. Easy Rest don't stand up to their word. I will never buy from them again. The bed is to hard. Not pleased with service. I wish I had never bought it.

Michelle Youngs: After 7 years my queen bed broke and needed a new motor assembly. No problem motors have a life time warranty. They want 250 for someone to come replace it. I told them I have my own installer, just send the motor assembly. Nope I have to pay 300 to have it shipped. The other excuse is that since I bought the bed while a sales rep for the company I didn't pay full price. Seldom does anyone pay full price for their bed. Their strategy is to reduce the price until the customer agrees to purchase. So much for loyalty.

Semiee J: WORSE COMPANY EVER SPECIFICALLY THE ONE NAMED COURTNEY!!!!!! They don’t care about employees AT ALL they only care about making money. If make then lose out on any type of money you’re fired … if you make one little slip up you’re fired unprofessional and very rude I called Debbie to speak with Courtney and I told her I was losing hours behind it and she didn’t care at all. That’s another thing if you want to work for someone who actually cares if you work don’t apply. They randomly log you out and then are too busy to take your call afterwards. They are NOT patient at all. Fired me literally because I didn’t I had to turn the volume up on my system. Doesn’t prepare you for the job during orientation and then makes it your fault your not ready I called right after and now she’s purposely ignoring my calls and e-mails

Tim Crump: These beds are a rip off. Definitely not worth the money they charge. And the way they take advantage of the older community is sickening to me. Also I was fired for not going to deliver beds by myself. So if I was u dont buy anything from them

Cheryl Chlebowski: If I ever decide to buy an adjustable bed it will not be from Easy Rest. I have a close family member who is elderly with multiple mental health issues. Apparently a door to door salesman talked her into buying an Easy Rest bed in February of 2020. She paid $3040.65 including tax and delivery for a single size bed. She paid a $1,500 down payment and financed the $1,540.65 balance over 4 years at 18%. The finance charge for that $1,540.65 loan will be $717.63. The bed stopped working within a couple months. In August she was taken to the hospital and was never able to return to sleep on the bed that stopped working anyway. She was taken advantage of in the first place as she is not well mentally and is naive. She is the type of person that can easily be taken advantage of. Easy Rest doesn't care about that. As POA for her, I contacted Easy Rest and explained the situation but they didn't care. The only thing they care about is that she signed a contract. She agreed to let the company deduct the money from her checking account and they refuse to stop. Meanwhile she is running out of money having to pay for advanced assisted living. This is a shameful situation. I would rate the company with 0 stars if I could.

Wayneisha Davis: Literally the worst job i ever had! they are unprofessional, they’re not patient with there employees and they’re super inconsiderate to there customers. Not to mention the icing on the cake i was fired by one of their very rude staff members named “Courtney” because “she didnt like me” was her literal words as she hung up in my face my very first day! all because during feedback i had questions and concerns. Dont work here! you will get fired for nothing! If your a considerate person you will get fired! If you ask questions you will be fired! Dont even bother taking it to a higher power they will not believe you when you say someone of their stuff was unprofessional and rude while handling you. Courtney lied and said all types of weird comments that didn’t happen during our conversation of feedback! SHE SHOULD BE FIRED FOR TELLING FASLE INFORMATION, she must didnt think id call to have the situation looked into. Never Had this happen before! Sad.

Gerry Adams: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM EASYREST. The bed is great, but the customer service is horrible. The owner should be ashamed to have a rude, unhelpful and unprofessional staff answering the phone. All I wanted was a replacement remote. I wanted an invoice sent so I get it paid by my trustee. Chris at customer service said, "no, they don't do that". And then he hung up on me. I called back and asked for the legal department and Keith said no. I ask to be able to contact corporate headquarters and he said no. This was after I had a lengthy conversation with Ann Mowrey the public relations director. She said just send an email with a picture of the remote to customer service and they would help. But never call me and then they were rude and unprofessional when I called them. So DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY DON'T RESPECT THEIR CLIENTS. The customer service behavior has an evil disposition.

Bonnie Williams: After reading these reviews I decided not to purchase the bed, I am elderly & it’s just not a good deal. I also spoke with my banker about refinancing because the sales rep suggested it, my bank do not refinance furniture. I will be contacting the BBB

Cynthia Lothrop: I feel I was pressured, & I was not given a choice but instead they ordered what they said I needed. I now have 2 twin mattresses Called to see about exchanging for king matteress.FRED was supposed to check on and call me back, he claims to but I never got any call back. After I called Fred back he said it would cost me another$700. (after spending$5,000.) SINCE I AM NOT HAPPY WITH WHAT THEY SOLD ME I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY SO I CAN SLEEP IN COMFORT. FRED told me he would put in order for new mattress yet a full month and I have heard nothing. Fred has not returned my call.

Mark Blanchard: Understaffed, tired looking, and disorganized. Returns are easy, and the staff at the return desk are very nice. It's also easy and quick to validate parking, so you can park for free in the ramp.

Rick Javier: Apparently, this building was one of the first department stores dated a century ago! It’s quite a sight for a Macys. I rated this store two stars because the selection was horrible. Not what I would expect for such a large store. Very basic.

Kev- keepingitreal: This store is some what clean. Macy’s offers a verity of clothes, shoes, jewelry, accessories and a host of other items at a reasonable price. Plenty of parking spaces in the parking garage but need better lights.

Kris Pahel: Free shop for an 11-year-old who need it underwear. We were visiting from out of town. We were able to find underwear. And we left. Store has a very nice layout. It's extremely large. Possibly the largest Macy's I've ever seen. Located in probably the coolest mall I've ever seen underground and hidden in plain sight.

Hilda Kroll: Convenient parking and easy to get to by Metro. Three floors of housewares, linens, clothing for the whole family, cosmetics, jewelry, and more. Lots of sales throughout the year.

Portia Honu: Overall shopping experience was just fine. Had a bad experience with the lady with Mac cosmetics though. She took a while to attend to us and was quite dismissive the whole entire time. She literally asked me to walk outside and use my phone to check the lighting of the test makeup on my face and then basically told me the look wasn't satisfying because I had bad skin. Was in a hurry to get done with me. I certainly did not make a purchase. Ladies with the perfume and Estee Lauder stands were quite helpful however. I can't get this rude Mac attendant off my mind!

K H: I came to this location to return some cosmetics items that were not the best for my skin. I was helped by the two Fatimas. They were some of the most pleasant and professional sales associates I have ever dealt with. These two made my experience so enjoyable that I would more than likely return to this location in the future. I am so grateful for their outstanding customer service. I will likely return to this location although Tysons is closer to home for me. Thank you to both Fatimas!!!

Wittynpretty Pretty: This macys made me want to shop inside stores again instead of online. It was clean and well organized. My ONLY problem is there was a VERY RUDE male cashier/ he looked Ethiopian in juniors section upstairs near the clearance and dressing rooms. That was talking to what im assuming was a family/ friend in native tongue for 10 minutes.. she wasnt checking out or anything. I stood there awkwardly waiting to check out when they FINALLY finished talking he rudely pointed and Said go over there. He pointed to NOWHERE and was content with himself... I ended up walking around and checking out with some pleasant ladies in customer service though.

Dana DiPasquale: The movers were supposed to call 30 min prior to arrival so I could collect my pets. They didn’t. Only 1 of 5 movers spoke English so we were unable to communicate with most of them. Had to show them how to remove drawers from furniture and then they let us do all of them. Numerous items were damaged. Furniture that wasn’t ours was delivered. They refused to disassemble some furniture and put it in the correct room. Put heavy items in garage instead of asking what room in the house to put them in. Specifically told not to move certain things but they did and damaged them. Damaged walls and ceilings. Dirty handprints over 5 newly painted walls. Ripped items anchored to walls off. Didn’t place furniture too heavy for us to move ourselves where we asked. Lost numerous parts. Claimed to be working longer hours than they did. Disappeared at lunchtime and charged us for that time. Unfortunately the claims process has also been disappointing. Company representatives don’t reply to emails or voice messages. Sales person has no contact with claims person so has no knowledge of client satisfaction or problem movers. Sales person said claims based on fair market value. Claims says it’s based on age and weight. A month has gone by and no resolution nor communication indicating all required forms have been received. Fairly certain based on this behavior we will get screwed. Update - despite the owners response below it's now Jan 2022 and my claim from may 2021 still has not been responded to. I'm still waiting for a response Update - a year after my move and my claim was never processed. Service: Local moving

C Durbin: I moved my 90 year old mother from Huntersville North Carolina to a Memory Care Facility in Warrenton Virginia. My Guys Moving and Storage was referred to me. I spoke with Terry and he was very professional, quoted pricing for the move, and was responsive to what we needed. The movers showed up on time inspected the items to be moved and wrapped and covered everything. The next day everything was delivered and setup in my mom's room very carefully with no damage. The guys were great and worked hard. Ashley kept me updated. Very fair and reasonable pricing for quality work. I plan on using My Guys Moving & Storage in the near future for another move. Jill Nash: This was my first time hiring movers and the service provided exceeded my expectations. The men were in good spirits, they took the time to make sure things were secure and packaged correctly. They were very fast and I would consider this money well spent. The one and only gripe I have, is that my adjustable base wasn’t assembled fully or correctly. It was my fault for not checking that this was properly handled before they left. Teresa Dye: The moving crew was very hard working and the leader was personable. The freight elevator in the apartment building we were moving out from was not in service so the crew had to go a longer distance to use the regular elevator which is smaller and at times had to haul bigger furniture down stairs. I gave them 3 stars because at some point they removed their masks. Also, the blue runner that they set up on the stairs to protect the flooring was loose in some parts making it a hazard to walk on. Luckily nobody tripped over it but still, it was a hazard. Towards the end, I noticed that a lamp shade was damaged and was told by the leader the company would buy me a new one but I never heard back from them. Services: Local moving , Interstate moving

Wei Y: My recent experience at the hotel in mid March was quite pleasant. The room was clean, decor was fairly up-to-date, beds were comfortable (subjectively), and the bathroom was fairly well maintained. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, this includes the cleaning crew (on the 8th floor) who would give you anything you asked for. The pandemic is not over yet, so I liked the idea of not having staff coming in every day. People complaint about the thin wall, water pressure and the train. I did experience all of the above. The thin wall didn’t bother me that much, it’s usually due to loud neighbors. For the water pressure, I just waited for the others to finish their use then take my turn, the place was packed at the time and everyone was taking shower at the same time. As for the train, the hotel unfortunately situated right next to the track so unless you are a heavy sleeper, the noises could bother some of the guests on the east side. We ended up switching to the other side and it was great! The food at the restaurant downstairs was also surprising. The taste and the price were comparable to the nearby places, if not cheaper. A Starbucks was also attached to the hotel but they do close somewhat early. As for the parking, we didn’t have a car, but once I parked at a hotel in downtown Chicago, it was over $100 a night. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and will stay again for sure!

tabitha buono: Rooms were decent sized. Our beds and pillows were AMAZING! The air conditioning was very hard to control. We froze the entire time. Also our bathroom had a light out, and only 3 drawers for 2 adults in a double bed room? Had to stay on top of housekeeping too. You have to call down every morning if you want fresh towels, etc. Even with calling, they still forgot. With all that said, I'd stay again. The bed and pillows were AMAZING!

Kelly Dias: Pros: Staff were friendly and pleasant. The bedding was clean. Shower head was high enough, temperature and pressure were good. Close proximity to the Capitol, National Mall, and museums. Cons: AC wasn't working on arrival, but maintenance was able to get it back on line. Insufficient towels and only conditioner in bathroom (no shampoo). Room was not served by housekeeping between first and second night, which meant no fresh towels. Bathroom toilet paper holder was partially detached from wall. AC unit had exposed wiring. Connecting door for the suite had a loose handle that meant that we couldn't fully close it without fear of being trapped. The front desk only answered calls half of the time (2 out of 4 attempts). The breakfast fare at the restaurant was very expensive and not the highest quality. Walls are paper-thin, so I got to listen to the couple in a nearby room argue at the top of their lungs well into the night. Unfortunately, there was a music festival in town, so they closed the on-site coffee shop. Streets were blocked for blocks in each direction, so no access for Uber or cabs. In order the get to local attractions, we had to walk 4-6 blocks out of the way to get around.

Joe Hughes: We were so excited to come to Washington D.C. for vacation. I have stayed at Holiday Inn's before and never experienced anything like we did here. Nothing seemed to work. The elevators were not working properly and one day not at all. We wanted to do some laundry and there was no change available and the soap dispenser was out of soap. I wasted a dollar since I didn't see the Out of Order sign that was placed on the side of the soap dispenser. The food downstairs in the café was horrible and it made my wife sick. The 21's amendment restaurant there was not much better. We wanted to buy soda and snacks and they wouldn't except cash. The rooms were cleaned every other day if that. The carpet was filthy and the desk chair was broke. On top of everything, Nobody knew anything when we ask for directions or where anything was. Apparently this Holiday Inn was just sold and in process of a new owner. That still doesn't make it right for this establishment to really put a damper on our vacation. We called security to stop all of the yelling and playing in the hall after 10 pm at night. Our floor was loaded with a group of kids and we finally had to go out there and tell the kids to quiet down. I would look at other options before coming here to stay, Murphy's Law applies here. "Anything that could go wrong will go wrong." I'm sorry that I have to post such a negative review but none the staff didn't make any effort to make our stay enjoyable.

M B: This was our first time staying at this hotel and it completely served its purpose. First the location - it is across the street from the department of Education and one block from the Air & Space Museum. There is a Starbucks on the corner of the hotel and several restaurants on the same block including a McDonalds. This hotel has a parking garage under it making parking very convenient. Parking fee is charged by the hotel per day and we had in and out privileges throughout our stay. There are two restaurants inside the hotel and a small convenience store next to the front desk. The lobby is more upscale than I thought it would be and staff was nice. We got into our room the first night later in the evening and our AC wasn’t working. We called the front desk and within minutes, a maintenance worker was at our door. He changed out the wall thermostat which didn’t resolve the issue and called for assistance to bring a new AC unit. They changed that out within minutes and discovered that there must be a wiring challenge that would take more time to resolve. They contacted the front desk, got us a new room and they walked it to make sure it was in perfect working condition before bringing us the new key cards. They offered to help us move but we were fine getting ourselves to the new room. This was the only challenge we experienced during our stay and these two maintenance technicians were absolutely wonderful. We forgot to get their names but they were on duty Friday, May 20, 2022 in the late evening. Nothing is a short walk in Washington DC as buildings are huge and the distance is deceiving. Every day we walked more than 7 miles and at the end of each day I walked back to the hotel to pick up the car to pick up my Mom to keep her from having to walk back. All throughout Washington DC, there are bicycles and electric scooters available to rent electronically on the spot to make the walking shorter and to get places quicker. We didn’t use them this time but they are a great benefit if needed. We did not eat in the hotel, but it is wonderful that the restaurants were there if we wanted to. This is a pretty perfect hotel to stay in when visiting Washington DC and we will most likely stay here on our next visit and recommend that you consider it as well. We didn’t take photos of the hotel, but it was very nice, clean, comfortable beds and we felt safe.

Benjamin Carlson: TLDR: Use Koons Falls Church Ford and Jocelyn for all your car buying needs! Buying a car is an absolute nightmare in this day and age. Between chip delays, delivery driver shortages, and greediness, you need to be extremely cautious who you trust with the car buying experience. That said, I am so fortunate to have put my trust in Koons, specifically, Jocelyn, Ruth, Mike G, and GM Ali. While a turbulent 6 months, everyone at Koons was extremely communicative, responsive to my concerns, and beyond patient with my impatience. By a blessing from above, my vehicle was delivered to Koons 24 hours before I needed it for a move and Jocelyn and Mike G were able to get everything ready for me to take delivery within 8 hours of it landing on the lot. Kitior Ngu: This is a great dealership and the service is top-notch. I've been taking my car here since I moved here in 2017 and I have no complaints. They really focus on making everything convenient for their customers. From being able to schedule your service online to now having the concierge option - it's really great. John Bean my service advisor has always been very helpful and communicative. I've been working with him also for the last 4+ years and he's been a great service advisor. He doesn't try to push unnecessary services on you.

It is much needed for replacing water pipes, connecting communities divided by I275 through improved transit opportunities, inceasing the safety of intersections, creating bike lanes and Smart Streets. badu jabar: Roads policing laws outdated , today's laws can't dissuade anyone. Driving across America is chaotic, wreckless, agressive, dangerous, deadly & nothing is done. We're desensitized to deaths on the road. It's become a spectacle rather than a tragedy. Police cruisers make little difference. We can catch toll cheaters but we can't catch driving offenders. Technology could help, why not use it ? Better roads when unpoliced lead to more risk taking , more deaths.& poor quality of living. We fight for space rather than share it . People will do what they can get away with. DO SOMETHING

Functional Van Conversion: Front desk is courteous, but as a tax payer don't expect to be able to go in and discuss issues at this building. Closed to the public who pays for it, that is unless you are invited in. Interesting...... I have been waiting two weeks for a response from an Aileen in Miami who is in charge of noise pollution along DOT roadways nation wide. I have two voicemails and an email and no response as of yet. I am asking for a phone call back, when I drove across the country to try to share my concerns. Public feedback must not be important........
