Ray: June 6-7 2022, had Aerotech Gutter Service run all my gutters under ground to pop-up drains as well as clean the gutter system. Jeremias and his crew, were super professional, took care to ensure minimum damage was done to yard by digging up the grass, and dirt placing it on a tarp, then replacing it after piping was laid. In all 6 downspouts were dug in, ranging from 20 ft to 50 ft in length all dug by hand. Aerotech from first contact to finish job has been a great experience. Helen Hensley: Service not listed "Siding" December 8, 2021-Work began for the new roof. Siding Installation (work began on or about December 20, 2021) and windows and doors wrapped. We were hoping for a mid-November start date, which we found out could not be accommodated due to product/material availability which affected the schedule. However, we had a good experience with Exterior Medics for our update/upgrade of our home at Keeler Street, in Alexandria, VA for new siding, gutters and a new roof. Our representative, Ron Rodriguez, was very responsive when we reached out to him with questions and concerns. There were scheduling conflicts for the project for all 3 phases, for one reason or another. Ron communicated to us as best he could the scheduling of the different work crews from Ryan, the Project Manager, as jobs being worked elsewhere came in to play which affected our schedule. Once the crews worked each phase, we were happy with their quality workmanship. It all worked out in the end. We are happy with the new look of our house. Thank you. Christopher Rex: The quote I received in early May from Exterior Medics was about $1500 to repair some trim around my front door and repair kick plate. The 2 other companies I received a quote from was around $400 for labor and materials. My experience with Exterior Medics felt more like a car salesman at my house when he was trying to justify the cost and determining other repairs that weren’t needed. The work was already completed by the other company which only took a few hours and $75 worth of materials. Either this was an attempt to price gouge or Exterior Medics doesn’t do small jobs.

Ray M: Unfortunately we are nearing the 3 week mark since we requested a quote. It was promised multiple times very early on and it was promised again. I cannot imagine the predicament this company could put you through if there was some kind of delay in doing the work or completing it if they cannot even get a simple quote back. Other businesses of similar size either produce a high quality quote within 48 hours or others have given quick estimates on the spot. After wasting an hour+ calling, going through the work we needed, and following up 3+ times for the quote, I cannot recommend this business. Ron was very nice, but unfortunately we are going to do the $25k worth of work with another company. Good luck!

I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Karen Attick: I LOVE my new roof and James Hardie siding. Exterior Pros were punctual, professional and completed the job on time! The decking was an added touch that really enhanced the back of the house. My salesman was able to show me the design choices on his computer which allowed me to view many options of siding and roofing prior to selecting. This put my mind at ease in know that I selected the perfect color and design. I highly recommend Exterior Pros for their competitive pricing, professionalism and excellent customer care. Susan Baker: Had a wonderful experience with ExteriorPros - new vinyl siding, 5 new windows, a new front door and storm, and aluminum capping around the doors, windows, facia, and rake boards. Everyone was fantastic, professional, and very helpful - from Roland helping get my insurance storm claim reopened and working with the insurance company on my behalf to get the claim adjusted properly, to Josh, John, and Tom who came out several times to assess the job, give estimates, and help me pick out styles and colors, to Carlos and his great crew who did the installation, to wonderful Ashley in the office, always friendly and ready to accommodate my silliest questions and concerns. My boyfriend and I are so pleased with the way the house turned out and we have gotten so many compliments on its transformation. We now have the best looking house on our street, thanks to ExteriorPros!

Cody Walker: I noticed I had a leak in my roof and I was unsure of what the cause was. I called around and decided to use this company. My experience was great the person who came out was Josh and he was awesome. He diagnosed my leak and it ended up being my ridge vent. He provided a lot of information about the new ridge vent. Josh was great but I was disappointed with some of the service. The workers showed up as scheduled and replaced the vent. The work has been great as in we have not had any leaks. The cleanup of the work was not so good. They left some pieces of shingles, large chunks of hard plastic, a glove, and roofing nails in my driveway and gutter. I ended up getting a flat tire due to one of the nails. I called Exterior Pros and they did offer a discount for the repair of the tire (20$) and had the crew of workers come back out and look for more trash in my gutters. (They did not clean the gutters just looked to see if there was any more plastic or trash in them.) Overall the company handled my issues great and the lead contractor Josh was fantastic. I did schedule the repair and second visit while I was at work so I never saw them. That is one thing I will due differently I just could not get off of work for those days. I did have my gutters cleaned later the same month and they did NOT find any plastic or trash so I due believe the original crew did come back and tidy up the area. I do recommend the company and even though the company handled the issues I can only rate 4 stars because these issues should have never happened.

Phyllis Chisholm: Two days before the rains of Hurricane Ida came through La Plata, we noticed a soft spot in the ceiling of our foyer. After searching for the source of a possible leak, we saw daylight coming into the attic around the plumbing pipe. We called Exteriors Pro and sent a picture of the site. They diagnosed the problem and had their specialists out to install a new pipe boot hours before the storm arrived. Their repairmen were courteous, professional and timely. Highly recommended! James Webb: I had them do new gutters on my home. They enlarged them and changed the down spout location. They found some wood rot and was able to fix on the spot. Had some loose siding as well and was also repaired. Everyone was professional and attentive. I would highly recommend Motran Home Improvements! Alex Men: I recently had all my gutters replaced on our house. After receiving few estimates from different companies I was referred to GUTTERS BY MOTRAN by one of my neighbors. We ended up selecting GUTTERS BY MOTRAN for a job. We chose to go with GUTTERS BY MOTRAN for few reasons. First, the price was significantly lower than of the competitors. Second, when they took the measurements they took their time to explain what to expect as well as the materials that will be used. In addition to that they came out to take down the gutters and give us the opportunity to paint fascia. On the day of install both owners Jim and Joe were onsite supervising the crew. The crew themselves knew exactly what they were doing. The material was manufactured and installed with precision and the color was matched perfectly. At the end of the install, job site was cleaned all gutters were checked for leaks and proper degree of decent. I called Jim few weeks later and asked to re-position one of the downspouts and was told that there will be no extra charge and the guys will be there in few days. To summarize, if you need gutters in MD/VA region GUTTERS BY MOTRAN is the place to go. I will be recommending this guys every time I get a chance.
