Jennifer Terry: Nash and his team did a fantastic job! They took an old dingy bathroom and made it into a showpiece! They even managed to build me a much needed linen closet in the process! They were professional came every single day on time. I have never had anyone perform such amazing work and deliver exactly what I imagined the space could be. I undoubtedly recommend them for any home project, big or small. Services: Remodeling , Paint indoors , Faucet installation , Remodeling , Painting , Home renovations , Electrical outlet & switch installation , Bathroom remodeling , Tile work installation , Plumbing fixture installation , Drywall installation , Shower installation , Electrical outlet & switch relocation
John Morris: We hired Nash and his crew to renovate our Glover Park townhouse in DC. Specifically to open up the first floor, renovate the kitchen and an upstairs bathroom. We subsequently re-hired him to add a deck, and additional basement storage room and do some hardscaping in the back of our house. Nash is a great communicator and always keeps you in the loop with decisions which need to be made without overwhelming you. He is very responsive and has a great eye for aesthetics and how to make challenging situations work in old houses! The members of his crew are very polite, skilled and professional as well. I would highly recommend him for any home project, he is great to work with. Services: Remodeling , Exterior finishing , Home renovations , Bathroom remodeling , Patio construction , Kitchen remodeling , Roof repair
Linda Spencer: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ResponsivenessGreat company to work with. Extensive knowledge and helped us navigate the plans/permit process. All of the trade workers were on staff so we felt comfortable with them in the house. :-)Services: Remodeling, General construction, Home addition construction
Sherry Wilkins: Carpenters of Georgetown was the “Go To” for my renovation & home improvements projects. With that said, you will definitely experience the best from this company … Excellence in customer service, quality in service and most of all great pricing. I was pleased with the completion of my home improvement projects … As they were all completed with professionalism, care, as well as being on time and right at budget. I highly recommend them for the best and quality services in the DMV (Washington, DC) area. Services: Drywall repair , Flooring , Outdoor lighting installation , Fan repair , General repairs & maintenance , Electrical outlet & switch installation , Home construction
Jim Helmink: An absolutely fabulous experience for a total Georgetown townhouse renovation. The work his team does is top notch, the work was completed on time, his pricing was accurate, and communication was excellent. I was able to track the project from several states away, get my questions answered promptly, and always felt like he was being fair. What I really appreciate is his knowledge of Georgetown homes in particular. It takes a special talent to refresh a historical property in Georgetown and he was able to completely update our home while maintaining its historical exterior. I would highly recommend working with Carpenters of Georgetown on any renovation project that you have.
Benjamin Blue: A referral from our realtor. And what a blessing. These guys are on point and amazing. From design, to permitting and having our house professionally cleaned. We are through happy with Nash and his crew. The thing we loved the most about this company is that they take pride in their work and have incredible following through. They came back 6 months later to address minor issues and didn’t blink and eye doing it. #service #quality Services: Remodeling , Waterproofing , Install flooring , Tile work installation , Drywall installation , General construction
Rafael Peinado: We bought a house that Carpenters of Georgetown flipped. Just a week after we moved in, the basement was flooded (pictures attached). We contacted Nash on the phone and email many times, and he finally replied with a short: ¨I will be in touch shortly.¨ That gave us hope that he would actually do something to help us repair their terrible job. He never got in touch again, I guess we have called him more than 50 times and at least the same amount of emails, you can imagine the frustration generated by this person and his company after making the biggest investment of our life. For what I see, I not only think he is not a great developer, but he is also a coward that runs away from problems. In fact, we talked to him before buying the house and he said things like: ¨I wouldn´t sell a house that is not safe¨ or ¨It´s not necessary to get a home warranty¨. We trusted him and that was our big mistake. Obviously, I don´t recommend them at all, but if you are going to do anything with him, make him provide you a warranty so you won´t have to be chasing him (and losing time and patience) the week after he leaves. We have already spent a good amount of money fixing the basement (and many more things) and we just have the option of suing him, something that we didn´t want. I guess by doing this we will finally get a response from him...
Justin Gill: Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueWe wanted to use a local company who specialized in older homes. We nailed it with these guys. Showed up every day at 7:00 and knocked our project out a couple days faster than originally projected. Staff was efficient and kind. They cleaned up very well. They completed 2 bathrooms and painted our main level.Services: Remodeling, Paint indoors, Tile work installation, Drywall installation, General construction
Jennifer Jamison: Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ResponsivenessWe just had our kitchen done, and wow!! We wanted a lower budget project and was surprised that they would take on our project. Quick and easy and we are so happy. We usually don’t leave reviews but wanted to share our happiness.Services: Remodeling, General construction
