Sir C.J.: I’ve been going here for about 5 years now. They have the largest selection of marijuana strains (both medicinal and recreational). Of course I’ve visited the other dispensaries in the DC area….but NONE can top National Holistic. PERIOD. No…no….not period…but Exclamation point ! —you’d want to take my word for truth, as I e been smoking 420 everyday since Aug. ‘99. But don’t take my word for It….go see for yourself!
Keila Rivera: This was my first visit to this dispensary, it was a little hard to spot from the street but easy to find once you walked by. Staff was very friendly, David went above and beyond to answer my questions and stayed by my side to ensure all my needs were met. I will definitely return.
stewart Liddle: it’s a pretty cool dispensary, but the managers aren’t it. I went there a couple of days ago and the budtending service was amazing, but the way the managers publicly berate the employees if a slight mistake is made is astonishing. I believe the manager’s name was Crystal or Krystal (however you spell it). Witnessed her make a correction to a small mistake an employee made and saw her belittle them for the mistake while they were right there! I appreciate good customer service, but when you can’t even respect your staff that’s saying something.

William Heron: I had severe pain from burns which followed radiation treatments for cancer. After the first acupuncture treatment with Dr. Safayan, the pain was gone. No need for oxycodone or NSAIDs. He is truly a miracle worker, besides being a gentle, compassionate and caring physician.

Carole L: I was very disappointed when I called this place for an inquiry regarding High dose intravenous vitamin C prescribed by my physician from the Riordan Clinic in Wichita Kansas. By the way, the best and oldest in the business. I honestly cannot say the same about the GW Center for Intergrative Medicine. From the very first call I was screened on my ability to pay the $450 cash consultation fee required. I explained that I was very familiar with the practice. What I needed from them was to continue my protocol prescribed by my physician. They absolutely refused and would not even accept a call. Or a referral from the Chief Medical Director following me. They are very pretentious and selective regarding their practice. It seems to me, they do not care about making a difference in alternative medicine but rather offering and alternative life style to the rich only. It is all about the money, not alternative health care.
Dawn Washkewicz: I have been to over 15 doctors for my digestive issues, and Dr. Kogan and his team are the most comprehensive and exceptional group of practitioners I have worked with. I have not felt this well in over a decade. It is a blessing that they are in DC, and easily accessible. I would recommend them to everyone that is SERIOUS about putting in the effort to achieve true wellness. My protocol was not easy, but it has changed my life.
Jacq Jackson: These people are INSANE. They don’t take insurance and they quoted me $1000 - just for an initial 90 minute consultation!! Maybe they are good at what they do, but that is UNREASONABLY expensive. They clearly are only interested in helping the top 1%. SHAMEFUL!

Christina Brathwaite: My new self-care haven! We had a bit of a bumpy start, but the owner, Scott, truly went above and beyond to make sure everything worked out. My neck and back have been bothering me for the last few weeks, and finally escalated to me waking up a couple days ago in pretty intense pain. When I first went to Euphoria to get it massaged out, my masseuse didn’t use quite enough pressure/technique to fix it. When I was paying she asked me how it was and I mentioned that my neck and shoulder still hurt, but paid and left thinking that I would just need to find another solution. The owner, Scott, called me a couple hours later and offered to personally make it right by scheduling a free follow-up massage. The follow-up session was incredible. My neck, back and shoulders were way worse than I even thought and Scott took extra time to make sure he worked as much of it out as possible. He also recommended stretches and exercises to help fix the issues with my rotator cuffs, which will hopefully mean that my body won’t get this bad again. I also have to say that it can obviously be awkward going back to an establishment when you’ve complained about not being happy with some aspect of service, but my initial masseuse was there when I arrived and she was still super professional and friendly despite the circumstances, which I really appreciated. It was such a great follow-up experience that I scheduled another appointment with Scott on the spot for a couple weeks from now. I’m happy to be adding Euphoria to my self care routine!
B Melchis: Euphoria is my go-to spot for a deep relaxing massage with good energy! The team are very warm attentive and professional, and Nalani specifically is very knowledgeable about the connections between the mind, body and spirit and she provides excellent service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and it’s black owned!! See you all in a few weeks for my next appointment ⭐️
Hannah Strauss: First time for a massage with Scott and had a wonderful experience! The space is clean and a welcoming atmosphere, and he was so pleasant and friendly to talk to. He was so attuned to the aches and pains I was experiencing and could tell exactly which areas they were stemming from. Recommended some specific areas for stretches and overall a very good experience. I’ll definitely be back!
Tiffany Mast: Went in for the first time today to get the “Neckington” because I’ve been knocked out with a horrible tension headache/migraine for the past 4 days. Taylor was absolutely phenomenal and gave my neck and shoulders so much love. She was able to hit knots and spaces I didn’t realize were holding a ton of stress/tension and my range of motion has drastically improved as well as less pressure in my head. G L: I’ve been to Euphoria twice. The first time for a Backiotomy and the second time for a Backiotomy and a Mind Eraser. The first time was amazing. The room was dark and relaxing. The massage therapist asked me about the temperature of the room and the pressure. She got every knot out in my upper back where I needed it most. She also offered me water on my way out. The second time was so disappointing. The receptionist didn’t have my appointment in the system and I’m realizing I don’t think they had a qualified massage therapist available. The room was bright, there was not a cover on the face part of the massage table (but there was a hair), and I could hear someone watching a video through the walls. The Backiotomy was completely different this time and the person didn’t seem sure of what they were supposed to do. It was quick stretching, light back rubbing, and a vibrating paddle tool that the person kept setting down on the floor then using again on my back. My upper back was barely addressed but I guess at least it doesn’t feel worse. The person asked if I wanted a scalp massage with the Mind Eraser, which I thought was the main part of the service, but she mainly played with my hair for 30 minutes. Overall I left super confused and don’t think I’ll be back unless I can book specifically with the massage therapist from the first time.

Victoria Phillips: My oh my, Hannah is AMAZING! First time customer here, and I have nothing but great things to say about my massage. I came in with chronic neck and shoulder pain and Hannah sat down and listened to my concerns and problem areas before getting started. All I can say is the 75 minutes blissfully went by. Her techniques are firm but gentle and she pays close attention to how you are feeling throughout. The ambiance of her studio adds to the overall relaxing and calming experience. Ashes2Art: Dental is great. Chiropractor is great. Phlebotomist is great. But the medical side of this practice is disorganized to the point of medical malpractice! They promise treatments that they can’t deliver. They don’t have cohesive protocol. This is a dangerous place! AVOID!

Alyssa Ehrsam she, her: This was my first cleaning with Laurie after an initial consult with Dr. McGlure a few weeks ago. I entered in a bit of a stressed state and her calm demeanor and professionalism put me almost immediately at ease. The combination of her skills and the advanced technology she uses made it the easiest and most pleasant teeth cleaning I have ever experienced. She took her time and I did not feel rushed. I recommend her without hesitation along with the entire office.

Amanda Cunningham: This is an excellent dentist office. After moving to the area, I struggled to find a great dentist. Most dentists in the area were still okay with mercury based fillings and routinely told me I had cavities when I strongly suspected that was not true. At NIHA they provide a healthy experience and in my opinion are much more trustworthy. All the supposed cavities I had in the past apparently magically disappeared!

If you are think in a relaxing therapy, this is not exactly the place I will go.

I would like to thank Katherine Braun, Jesse Fuller, Allison Evron, Lucia Lee, Natasha Harper, and Hope! In my view, STAR is the best physical therapy center in the Washington D.C. area. Kathy is truly exceptional; she is the best and most compassionate physical therapist I have ever worked with. I have been at STAR many times in the past three years. More specifically, I have been there for torn rotator cuff, chronic neck pain, sciatica, and pelvis injuries. Tissue massage, stretching, strengthening, joint mobilization/stabilization, and athletic taping have been among the treatments I have received at STAR. The physical therapy sessions have been very effective. Kathy has helped me recover from sciatic problems and strengthen the muscles and ligaments in my shoulder and improve my range of motion significantly. Kathy has also taught me proper techniques that I can use regularly at home to manage and alleviate the pain associated with my injuries, words are not enough to express my gratitude. I have also been working with Jesse on core strengthening and mobility. He has created a good and unique workout routine for me. Andrew Bird: STAR’s commitment to quality of care, attention to detail, and the depth of knowledge and experience from similar procedures/patients is a critical part to my great rehab from shoulder surgery. Did my homework and toured several PT offices prior to surgery back in March. Allison Evron at STAR was my top choice and I am so pleased with her contribution to my progress. What impresses me most about Allison is her keen awareness, intuition, and active participation in my rehabilitation process. She always takes time to listen to my immediate concerns and I think she grasped my long-term recovery and skiing related performance goals before even I did. She knows when to push in exercises, does not hesitate to correct poor form, and recognizes pain thresholds just from my facial expressions. This level of care alone is worth a 5-star rating, but I’d also note our seamless transition to telehealth appointments during DC “stay at home” without losing momentum was awesome. Very motivating experience. I highly recommend STAR, and particularly Allison for all physical therapy care. They have restored my faith in dedicated physical therapists. That is a monumental achievement after an awful experience elsewhere where I felt like a meat pile on a Chicken McNuggets assembly line.

june skye: Been here several times and the service is normally good, but the customer service from my visit last week changed my mind about going back. Drove 40 minutes to DC for this location. Couldn’t get any service because all 4 staff members were sitting on the steps at the entrance. One store rep said they were actually opened but they were all taking a break and to come back in 10 minutes. I did not wait an additional 10 minutes and left instead.

The staff is chill and super friendly, the product is consistently good (tip… spring for one of the pre-packaged 8ths), I never wait long in line, and the environment inside makes you feel welcome. I’ve been to all three locations and they’re all just great. The girls at the 9th street location are particularly nice- it’s become one of my favorite parts of the week to come in and chat with them!! Also, these guys get their cartridges shipped in from California, and they are always always good.

Dude at the desk was a bit uptight wouldn’t let my boyfriend use the bathroom haha, girl in the back was chill but knew nothing about the products. Emily Parker: Very poor communication from this office. I applied for a position with them and was contacted to schedule an interview after several weeks. The first time they did not show up for the online interview was for a “patient emergency”, which is understandable, however I never got a notice that this meeting was cancelled due to a mix up with my phone number. I was only informed of the cancelled meeting when I emailed the office. Keep in mind I receive all other texts and emails from the office. The same thing happened with the rescheduled meeting for this week. No form of contact and no one showed up for the meeting. I have yet to get a response to my texts or email in regards to why they have yet to attend any meetings. All of these interview meetings are schedule for after regular business hours, which means getting in contact with them in extremely difficult. As a patient of several holistic practices myself, I take into consideration how an office treats their employees and those interested in learning more about their work. It is safe to say I am no longer interested in working with Dr. Knights or her team.

Crystal Robinson: I had such a terrific experience with Beatrice! The journey itself was so interesting a peaceful! But the best part was how much it has helped me. For years I had this weird stomach and gallbladder situation going on. It progressively got worse, especially at night. It would keep up at night and no over the counter sleep aid could over come the pain. Eventually I found gallbladder/bile salts that helped relieve the discomfort, but sometimes I would have to take many many doses for it to work. My sleep was extremely impacted and my life was out of whack. It’s only been a little over a week since my healing and I’m seeing things get better and nothing else has changed in my life! The discomfort I’m feeling decreases as time goes on and I need less of the supplements to help me sleep. It is a miracle. I’m so glad I went!
