Bobbi DeAnda: I threw my back out yesterday and literally could barely walk into the office, one hour later I am good to go! Dr Shu Fan is amazing! I literally gave him a hug before I left!! I was so happy I could cry! I was in SO much pain and he fixed me right up…it was like magic!

R. Lee: Update: my son was born healthy in April 2020! Thanks again. After having two back to back losses (a blighted ovum and a mmc @ 6 weeks) I researched acupuncture and saw some women had a healthy pregnancy afterwards. Usually it was with IVF patients but I figured what the heck. My second miscarriage was 6/11 and I started seeing Shu that following Friday once a week. I would also receive the herbal treatment. One of the issues I had was continued bleeding after the miscarriage and when he gave me a herb it stopped. He also told me to take my BBT so I began doing that as well. I ovulated on 7/20 and 6 days later I wondered if I conceived based on the temperature dip. 9 days later I had a positive pregnancy test! Because of the two previous losses I managed my expectations. About 5 weeks I started spotting and on my 6th week I went to the ER because of bleeding. There I was told i had blood in my uterus and had a threatened miscarriage. I went back to Shu and he told me to rest take it easy and provided more herbs. The ER gave the baby a 50/50 chance. However he wasn’t so grim. I had another bleeding episode at 7 weeks and then slowly the spotting stopped. I’m 12 weeks now and finished my last visit with him. Both me and the baby are doing well and I HIGHLY recommend going. I will say all of my tests were previously normal so I could’ve had an egg quality issue - which acupuncture helps with but usually does in a 3 month period. He had excellent customer service and was pretty flexible when my schedule would change.
Adelaide: I had a severe waist pain which felt like a burning sensation.I could not even bend to wear my shoes even when sitting flat on the floor. I decided to try the acupuncture by Dr. Shu Fan and I am very glad I did. Right after the treatment I could not feel the pain anymore and to this day I am still pain free. I tell you he really knows what he is doing and his rates are reasonable. I have recommended Dr. Shu Fan to my friends and I will recommend him to anyone who is thinking of Acupuncture. Joseph Park: Dr Jin is very competent in her field. Receiving care here has been significantly effective in treating sprains and knee pain from running injuries. After one or two treatments, I was back to running without any pain.
Eman Mossadeghi: I never write reviews but this place is very deserving. I have had chronic lower back pain for 2+ years and this treatment has worked wonders. I’ve tried cryotherapy, physical therapy, chiropractic care (also good), yoga and epidural injections. Jie Jin is the real deal. She studied in China and has done this since she was very young (her dad was an acupuncturist). Acupuncture can take months and is costly but her pricing is affordable compared to other places. It goes without saying that surgery is also expensive... As for the negativity surrounding the facility, you can easily go somewhere else, pay more and receive inferior care for better ambiance. I go to acupuncture to heal my body and I’ve finally found relief. She is easily one of the best in the DC/Metro area.

Each person signs up for a start time, an Acupuncturist will do a quiet eval, then take you to a bed (Clinic style) for your treatment. I have been here 5 times (1-2 times my last visits to DC). Payment due is on a sliding scale.
Samantha Johnson: Joselo is warm gentle soul and he knows what he is doing. He was clearly born to do this. So excited that he opened a community center to bring his skills to everyone. I went to him with a left sore shoulder that hurt so bad that I had to sleep slanted up. I also had a swollen right knee. During the second treatment he performed the skin scrapping on my shoulder and I am practically pain free with just a few spots and my range of motion is vastly improved. Most important I can sleep lying down pain free providing me with a decent night sleep. The swelling in my knee has gradually reduced and I can now fully bend my knee and walk straight. I have nothing but good things to say. Update - 01.22.2022 - Joselo continues to be a natural born acupuncturist. He is amazing.

Wei Pan: I have seen Dr. Xu for several months for my illness. Dr. Xu is very kind and patient. She carefully identifies the possible causes and combines acupuncture techniques and Chinese herbal medicine for my treatment. I have seen significant improvement. Plus, she uses very thin disposable needles which quelled my fears.
Ping Lu: I am writing this review on behalf of my mom due to her language capability. My mom struggled with back pain issue for the past 6 months. She was referred to Dr. Xu Wei by a former patient for a consultation. We met with her and after a comprehensive exam and discussion she recommended Acupuncture along with some Chinese Herbal Medicine. We could have made a luckier choice. After 6-8 visits, my Mom’s pain drastically improved and she feels much better now, she is even able to work on her little garden again. Both my Mom and I strongly recommend Dr. Wei Xu. If you are looking for an acupuncturist that is patient, knowledgeable, caring, and thorough - Wei is the one.

Dr. Marie Rodriguez: Artin is a master acupuncturist. I’ve been helped with a wide array of issues: post covid brain fog, exhaustion, pms and irregular cycles. As an empathic healing practitioner living in DC metro area I am strongly affected by the heavy energy here. Artin’s skilled treatments have been a vital support for me to release unhelpful energies.
J Evans: I have been going to Artin for a few months for various emotional and physical issues (anxiety, sinus problems, heart palpitations, stress, TMJ...). I was skeptical and fearful about acupuncture at first, having not had positive experiences with Western medicine and concerned I would never feel better.
